Triangle Aquatic Center: what do users think?
Raegan Sirbaugh: Went to watch my boyfriend swim in a competition. The building is very large and had lots of seating. The concessions were pretty good, as well.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
vacaville . ...: BEST facility around. Nice and cleanVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry Free …More
Brking: Great people Great staffNew Camera system being put in by Vector Security that will allow me to check in on my kids during practice 😀!!
Nadia Valdes: This place has gone completely downhill for years. They cater to the swim teams because that’s where they make their money. Having 3 pools two of which are competition sized should mean there are always 3-4 lanes available for rec swimmers - all day long. Now you’re lucky to get in at 5:45am. The locker rooms are gross and always have been. Management and the employees are just plain rude and act as if they can’t be bothered to answer any questions. Don’t even get me started on the over-crowded and hard to navigate website. This place USED to be the premiere swimming location. Now it’s a joke.In response to the owner: Thank you for proving my point. Your response is rude and not customer friendly in the least. I stopped going for that reason and your lack of available lanes. Today I called thinking it MAY have gotten better due to the new pool only to find out it got worse. My advice: stop responding to reviews you’re not doing yourself or your business any favors.
V: The online registration is so pathetic. Worst i have seen. Not at all user friendly. If you dont get the slot you are looking for, you wont get refund. you have to take whatever slot is available. You almost have new coach for every class. 4 kids in every class of 30 mins so each kid will only get 6-7 mins. Not coming back.
Tricia Sauls: Great facility
Andrea Harding: I'm updating my previous 3 star review to 4 stars. The open swim schedule during meet season is still wonky, but they have mostly standardized it and are communicating updates regularly via email. There are 2 reasons I've grown to appreciate this facility from my previous review:1) The outdoor pool is awesome. Long course, beautiful and clean. It is a treat to swim outdoors in a 50M pool, not many around. Limited hours but if you can swing it, it's great.2) There are a lot of really good swimmers who swim at TAC. For an average swimmer like me, it's nice to be able to swim a lane over from an excellent swimmer and watch their style from under the water. I take inspiration from it.Previous 3 star review:This review is for the open swim program. The facility itself is fine, nice pools. The facility is mostly used for swim meets, but they also offer open swimming for a daily, monthly, or annual fee. The problem is, the available open swim times are inconsistent week over week, some times the pools are open, sometimes they are not, sometimes they cancel open swim times at the last minute, all of which makes it hard to plan swim workouts. If you are looking for a facility with consistent open swim times week over week, you might get frustrated with Triangle Aquatic. If you don't care and are happy to swim whenever they happen to be open, this is a good facility.
Umesh Chokshi: Please be cautious of the reviews you read about the availability of the pools at this establishment. Unfortunately, the management seems to prioritize making money over providing access to paid patrons. Pool hours are constantly changing and it is rare to find any of the four pools available. Most of the time, the pools are rented to paid instructors, leaving little opportunity for other patrons to enjoy them. Even when the pools are empty, there are no guards available, preventing access. It is frustrating to be pulled out of the pool multiple times due to lanes being booked by paid customers, leaving you with no choice but to share a lane or leave the premises. The management's approach is disappointing.
Ethan Hadsell: The pads here are so slippery and you slip every time. Horrible facility.
Mike Weinberg: Plusses: several pools to choose from. Overall an awesome facility. You can buy a day pass to try it out.Minuses: the lighting is a bit dim, so I think clear goggles would be a better choice than tinted ones. Also, the locker room is kind of dated, and there are no soap dispensers.
Cathy Williams: I am new here and so far it's been a great experience.
Riya: Awesome facility with four different pools, and a great place to discover your potential to swim. I definitely recommend this aquatic facility.
Harry Mintzer: Wow great facility
Sarah Rodriguez: So many pools to choose from !!!
Nancy Shelton: Great swimming venue. Loved the info board during the competitions
Soraya Brown: I worked there for two days as a filler great experience overall.
Alex Roberts: Great environment and nice pool. Bit dark though and very deep.
Linda Liu: First time use it in 5 years in Cary. The water in the Small pool is clean. I used it because there was competition. Only one friendly lifeguard, others are not. Front desk no one answer phone. The shower room is dirty, tiles fell off, no soap, and half of the showers are not functioning. I like to see some improvement in the shower room. Thanks
Courtland Bartosik: This review is in relation to working at Triangle Aquatic Center - Recently, a friend of mine was interviewed for a position at TAC and used Indeed as the platform for correlating. After the interview, the event coordinator was incredibly rude in declining their application by messaging them in a highly unprofessional manner (what he said exactly is being disclosed because it is unbelievably ridiculous). I mean, seriously? No professional using any sort of work-related platform should be allowed to communicate with potential employees that way. I highly recommend straying away from working at TAC and their event coordinator.
Steven Brown: Very spacious and clean! The snack shop has a full menu so you can get any item for a good price. Plenty of tv’s to watch the events with accurate stats.
Amazing Fama: It's definitely not worth it for the beginners and it's kind of costly. They have different tutors for swimming daily and teaches the same thing every time (from my perspective). You have to buy more courses further on to actually learn the skills.

Pullen Aquatic Center: what do users think?
Amanda Cooper: Great indoor swimming pool in Raleigh.Love to take the kids, call to check hours before going!
Jonathan Saucier: This a great public pool that provides swimmers a great spot to swim. Run by the City of Raleigh, this is one of many pools that are managed well. I typically go swimming in the morning, and have always able to get a great workout with swimming the short and long course. The long course are opened in the AM, and I have found waiting for the swim teams to wrap up is best, as they take of many of the lanes from 0530-0700. I'm a fan. Thank you City of Raleigh for this service.
Barbara Meyer-Mitchell: Such nice staff!
S S: DO NOT go to a swim meet here! The entry access and parking is simply embarrassing. Be prepared to sit in traffic for over an hour to get the last quarter mile to the facility. One way in one way out. What a joke!
Amir Rothenberg: Love the lanes!
Garry McCormick: Great staff, organized swim meet went exceptionally well. Parking was an issue today due to Christmas festivities in the area but still worked out.
Emily Floess: I like this pool a lot, but make sure you call and speak to a real person at the front desk anytime before going. I just drove all the way over after checking the hours and website and everywhere said it’s open and only after arrival I learn the pool is closed. I learned my lesson to always call and speak to someone at the front desk.
Carla Dennis: I went at 6:45AM and found plenty of lane space, clean water and a nice locker room. I really liked that my lane had both backstroke flags and flags going down the lane to keep me straight. I had the whole deep end to myself for a bit. Not used to swimming in 14 feet depth but I liked it.
Nathalia Herrera: this pool IS CLOSED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 25 bc they are doing some maintaining, isn't that hard to put this information in your voicemail or make the update here then all the public will know and won't waste time and money to go there to discover it. it's just very disappointing and not fair with the visitors, specially the kids.
Luis “Trutexas3” Trujillo: The inside pool is good exercise for your body
Ana Ehrisman: Ever since the Olympics, my kids, ages 9+ have wanted to try a higher diving board and Pullen has the ONLY boards in Raleigh. Great! The problem? THEY ARE NEVER OPEN. I've called MULTIPLE times and because of staffing, the boards aren't open. Fine. I keep calling. No one told me that when they get to their WINTER hours (that start middle of August) the boards aren't open at all. Why didn't anyone tell me? Also, I called the first time wanting to know what the minimum height to jump off the boards was because on the website it says they have to be taller than the third rung, and guess what, they had no clue what I was talking about because THE BOARDS ARE NEVER OPEN! I'm just disappointed that something my kids have been looking forward to isn't an option now. Take the boards out if no one can ever use them. 🤦‍♀️
Brittany Jordan: It's was raining where we were and Pullen Aquatic Center was the perfect indoor activity for us.
Martie Morris: , because our favorite indoor pool, Buffaloe Aquatic Center, was closed for maintenance. HOWEVER, this is our LAST time spending money at Pullen Aquatic Center because they are lacking in good on-site communication and signage. It's clear now (12/24
Elizabeth Pearce: One, plan on eating before or after the pool because there are no designated areas. I am diabetic and was shaking really bad and they told me that I could not eat inside, I had to sit in the hallway in the floor and eat to get my blood sugar back up. I was literally shaking and almost passed out and they did not seem to care. Two, if you have small children go ahead and get them acquainted with life jackets unless they can swim. After getting my blood sugar back up and entering the pool area, I blew up 2 floats in front of at least 10 lifeguards who were standing around talking. It wasn't until I tried to enter the pool with both of my children that they told me floats were not allowed. Needless to say we got a refund and left.
Patricia Ragusa: It's like a ghost town there though it's so sadEl kids playing in the park no train no carousel right now no food ,the bathroom is open though that's a good thing
Aaron Ward: They need to post a schedule of when these high schools are going to be taking up every lane in the pool. I really enjoy waking up at 4:30 to get to the pool and it be essentially closed.
RoxyProxy 247: It was sho fun and i got to use the diving board
Luke B: It's really not family friendly. Have come here multiple times and the shallow pool was closed for "therapy and swim lessons" even though the entire time we were there no one was in it. In addition to the fact that we were trying to teach the kids to swim! I've gone on my own to practice on the diving boards; first dive I did I got yelled at for bouncing more than once. When I tried to explain I didn't I got told "act like and adult or get out of the pool." Which I gladly did and left. All the other staff are nice, but the lifeguards are THE WORST. Definitely don't come if you have kids. Only good for adult lap swimming.
Ibrahim NC: My favorite swimming pool
Ty Kays: It's just a pool that is only Olympic size for about 10 minutes a year. Seems nice enough but the hours are far from convenient.
Cu Phung: Very good facility for swimming practice. It has open lanes for below 5 ft or above 10 ft. Just check the schedule online to make sure the swim team is not practicing at the time you want to go.

Optimist Pool: what do users think?
Clayton Boylan: Great place to take the kids an cool down
Buddy Yartin: Nice facility
Emmanuel Wilder: The staff here is amazing
Bonnie Lee: Very clean and professional environment.
Turner Stuart: Great pool, although the swim team closes 3/4 of the lanes (they only leave 5 lanes open for the general public) every day during the school year from 3:30PM-7PM, meaning you basically can’t use this pool unless you go early in the morning, so I wouldn’t really call this a “public pool” since most working individuals don’t get off work before 3:30PM. Such a bummer that they allow the swim team to block off the majority of the pool every day.
Oak Miller: Good staff
Heeten Choxi: Kids loved spinning on the spinning thing
Jonathan Grein: Very well maintained pool
Keshia C.: Great place, to take family swimming and park time.
Matt Baldwin: Great pool! It’s huge.
Alka Pancholi: It is one of the best pool in Raleigh but I just renewed my membership and can't swim whole of October so very disappointed. 😔 is it any way I can get my money back?
Susan Pearson: Was there for an Inter-City swim meet. Champs!!!
Adam Benjamin: Hours are frustrating and wrong. The last two times I’ve come with my kids we’ve been told to go outside only. No open swim inside even though I called ahead and specifically asked about open (non-lane) swim inside. If you want lane swim it’s great otherwise don’t trust the hours even if you call ahead!
Ramiro Rodriguez: Lanes are great.
Max Overman: Nice locker rooms, great pool for swimming, helpful staff.
Jinmei Xu: Great place to swim laps.
Rachel Abramson: Everyone was kicked out of 12 foot deep end randomly at 4pm. If there is a lifeguard shortage (2022) then the Raleigh pools need to work that out. Paying customers should get to swim. I wanted my money back.
criztyyyxo: Very very very very very rude staff
Aqua: This pools open hours are odd, they claim they are open 6:00 to 5:00 the were closed when he got there honestly disappointing
Liz Woods: Always a pleasure.
Marina Kalinin: Great pool. Now doing there kids swim classes by the city of Raleigh.
