She took my knee when I was having nerve problems and with one Treatment I walked like I was 20 years old. She does more than stick needles in a person she explains why she is doing what she is doing. If you want to get better ask questions and listen to her answers

cablive1: I was disappointed with her. I agreed to do sessions for 1 month for $450.00. I misunderstood her terms, 1st visit didn’t include the $450.00. I felt she was annoyed after I hadn’t made any progress after 2 weeks of acupuncture for quitting smoking-her recommendations were short & quick. She had a very tight schedule-most sessions were 5 min or less. I stopped seeing her when I experienced a herniated disc in my spine, had an MRI & surgery several weeks later. She never checked to see how I was doing. I would not recommend her. Except for the initial consultation, I didn’t feel she had much caring or compassion.

Michael Moon: I am a disabled Army Veteran and have been getting acupuncture care, with Debbie Goodwin at Cary Acupuncture. I suffer from chronic back pain, neuropathy, knee injury, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My results have been nothing less than, "Life changing"I was on on many medications and opioids prescribed by the VA system. I slept most of my day away. I felt irritable, tired, in pain and of course very depressed. It took a few sessions and I started seeing results. The treatment for PTSD was so helpful. Slowly with my primary care Dr's help, we started to decrease the Pain medication. I started becoming more active with my family and enjoying time with our grandson. amanda bostic: I went to Debbie for 4 treatments before relocating out of the area and I had a fantastic experience every single time. I went for treatment of allergies, asthma, digestion and insomnia issues and she recommended oils, roots, and was able to significantly improve my reaction to allergens. I went to an asthma and allergy specialist for years and received allergy shots. I was taking a daily steroid to control my asthma but after my second visit, I no longer needed to take a daily pill NOR the steroid to control my allergies and asthma. I am bummed that I moved away and hope to find another doctor as friendly, gentle, and knowledgeable as her. I absolutely recommend her for anyone in the area looking to specific acupuncture treatment.

I was familiar with acupuncture and some other complementary therapies, but as a public health worker, I'm naturally a little skeptical. I had never heard of using acupuncture as a tool to move through the grieving process and had never actually had acupuncture done. Additionally, the shock of the loss had caused my postpartum bleeding to stop.It was better than I imagined. The appointments were very relaxing--most are placed on your arms and lower legs, so I never had to undress or anything. I couldn't really feel the needles, but I could feel a sort of movement. Call it energy or chi or something else, it was definitely there. Debbie has such a nice bedside manner and a strong knowledge of overall health and well-being. Mario Kroll: Went to see Debbie as my very first acupuncture treatment. Had thought about it for years, and finally took the plunge (no pun intended). Debbie is absolutely wonderful, thorough, gentle, and within a couple of treatment, she helped me get my high blood pressure under control without remaining on medication, something I didn't think was possible. Her office is very clean, welcoming, and relaxing and I look forward to my regular acupuncture treatments now. Elaine Gomsi: I went for migraine headaches and to be fair I only went once. I will not be going back again because Debbie suggested that instead of swimming I should take a stroll in the woods because two of the three swimming strokes tighten my shoulders. She then suggested sidestroke. I told her it wasn't as good for cardiovascular exercise and then she said I should be prepared to see her once a week. Acupuncture should enhance your life, not limit it.
Bonnie B: I went to the clinic for sinus problems. I get intense headaches during the summer and no amount of drugs will relieve the pain. I went to the clinic with no expectations but was determined to keep an open mind. Debbie sat with me on my initial visit and we discussed how to approach the problem. Leslie Fernandes: I have suffered from extreme migraines for almost 20 years. I started having migraines that would last for weeks and at its worse I had a migraine that would not end for two months. My neurologist at the time said there was nothing else he could do since I have tried absolutely all the prescription drugs and treatments that western medicine offered.
