abby hoffman: The philosophy of the Insight Program, the expertise of the counselors at the Cary NC site, and the amazing connections made with other families across the Triangle in similar situations are some of the qualities that set Insight a part from other recovery treatment programs and makes Insight absolutely priceless. Looking for substance use treatment was one of the hardest and scariest things I did when my daughter and our whole family was in crisis. Addiction is a family disease and the Insight Program is built on that premise. Adolescence is a unique developmental period and Insight recognizes that fact and leverages it in their programming. Having a sense of belonging and connectedness is the opposite side of substance abuse and addiction and Insight fosters authentic connections between the kids in the program as well as among willing family members. My daughter is still active in Insight. She is just beginning her recovery, 1 year sober, and we would not be where we are now if we hadn't come to Insight. Insight has given her the opportunity to develop more skills to cope with her mental health issues that underlie her substance use. Insight has given my daughter the opportunity to practice using these skills and be successful. She has to be willing to do the hard work, but Insight has given her a roadmap and has helped build the foundation for her to walk through her fears so that she can continue to grow and develop into the person she sees for herself. Insight has helped me to get closer to the kind of parent I want to be. It is not a panacea. It is not a quick fix. It can feel counter intuitive. And it is a long and hard journey with ups and downs and missteps. But, I trust the counselors at Insight to guide me as well as my daughter through our darkest moments. It was the hardest decision and the most uncomfortable process. It is still hard and uncomfortable. But, I wouldn't change our getting involved in the Insight Program at all! I am so thankful that we found Insight and I am so grateful for the support and guidance from the counselors!

Fab France: First, if you are reading this review, I am sorry for what you may be going through as I was once also looking for help and reading reviews trying desperately to find something to help our family. Just know that you are not alone in this journey.I am very thankful for this program. I truly and sincerely believe it helped us move forward at probably one of the lowest point in our lives. We learned extremely useful tools through the program and received incredible support from the parent group and staff. Some of these parents to this day I still consider great friends. I understand that everyone's journey is different but for us this is exactly what we needed for that time in our lives.I would also like to directly thank the counselors and staff. Addiction is ugly. I wish there was a simple, fit all solution that works 100% of the time but that is sadly not the case. Some people will thrive using this program, some people will not. For some, recovery will involve many steps while for other, this program will close the addiction chapter. But one thing I know for sure is that the counselors and staff we were lucky enough to interact with, worked tirelessly and selflessly to help our child and us. I will forever be grateful for all your hard work. It made a difference in our lives.

I went In and I was amazed. I have been a smoker over 18 years. And I have touched a cigarette since last Friday which i can’t go more than 2 hours without a cigarette before. I love her and this really works. I can’t say enough about this process besides it works

I love smoking, it’s like my nerve medicine so when you enjoy something then you know it’s hard to put it down. For health reasons my sister found this clinic on line which had great reviews. Stephanie Lovett: I started going to the Stop Clinic for smoking cessation in May 2007. Many times previously, I had spoken to Leslie Lyon about my desire to quit smoking. She told me on several occasions that when I was ready she would be there for me. I was 51 at the time and had smoked since I was 15. Growing up, my mom, grandmother, and siblings all smoked.Finally, I took the leap and made the first appointment with Leslie to learn more about the program.
