At Evergreen the owner and staff are wonderful! Friendly, patient, understanding. They spend time interacting with my dad and engaging him in activities all day long. It is part of his routine now and he looks forward to going every day. And to put icing on the cake, he is able to utilize the ‘Go Cary” bus service to take him to appointments and to bring him home in the evenings (which has been a nice break for me).

When my dad passed away I had to move in with my mom to care for her, in the beginning it was very rocky as I could not find good care for my mom. I can not say enough about Linda and the rest of the staff, they are the best. Even when I am having a bad morning they put me in a good mood with their positive upbeat. Jeff Ritchie: I’ve had my father at Evergreen for over a year, advancing to 4 days per week. They are perfect for helping with his declining memory through stimulating activities appropriate to his diagnosis and attention span. Every time I am there, every pariticipant appears to be getting the attention they deserve, while the staff skillfully involve participants in a variety of group activities. They include limited rest time, but to my benefit, my father is appropriately mentally and physically fatigued to help avoid overnight restlessness. The staff have a passion for helping, and the management really wants to know their clients AND families needs for care of their loved ones. Highly recommended.

Their professionalism, dedication, and sincere personal devotion in their profession (their “calling” as I can better describe it) by providing quality senior care to their day-to-day participants is above and beyond of what we could have ever expected. Linda and her team of certified nurses and nurse’s aids not only provide a safe, new, and bright center to their participants, but their innate endearing and compassionate personas provide such a positive and upbeat environment that makes my mom look forward to going, and provides us with confidence and that “trust” factor knowing our loved one is cared for in the highest of standards. This allows us to function and do our day-to-day responsibilities without fear or concern. Peace of mind that is very very hard to find these days.In 2013, my father passed away. Dad was not only mom’s best friend, her rock, but he was also her primary caregiver. Being clinically blind, and suffering from multiple complications of diabetes, when Dad passed I knew (being their only child) that she needed me and my wife during this time in her life. My wife and I moved from NY to NC at that time, and now with 3 kids and a bustling business, we’re understandably overstretched with day-to-day to-do’s as well as ensuring we provide the right quality care that mom needs. We researched and looked at various places until at a serendipitous event lead us to meet Linda (as she was starting Evergreen). Suffice to say, with that initial meeting and in getting to know Linda personally, we knew this was the right place for mom (we immediately felt confident and at ease that Linda and her team would care for mom in the same high standards as we would hope for for a loved one).This coming May will be 1 year that Mom has been going to Evergreen and she looks forward to going every day she is scheduled to. I’m sure there are other families out there looking for the same kind of peace of mind in terms of finding a center for their loved ones and I encourage you to go and visit Evergreen and meet Linda personally (3434 Kildaire Farm Rd. Suite 129 in Cary NC).
