Ashley Gottlieb: I cannot say enough good things about Pura Vida, the instructors, and the owner, Alicia. I started my aerial journey in October of 2022 and it has been life changing. I hadn't exercised in an embarrassingly long time because I hated every kind of exercise that I'd tried. I reached out to Alicia after taking a random aerial yoga class when I was away in the Berkshires and she was so informative about all the options Pura Vida offers. I ended up starting with private lessons with her on aerial sling and since then, I've continued privates, added on group sling classes, and mat yoga classes. I'm not young so this was a scary endeavor for me but Alicia has created the most amazing and inclusive community, allowing all people to be comfortable and feel safe. Since finding this studio, I have become stronger both physically, mentally, and creatively. I'd give 10 stars to Pura Vida if I could!

Fresh, strong, bright.I scheduled a private for Saturday morning with instructor Abby, and I couldn't have been happier. Upon my arrival, we discussed my experience and she asked what I was wanting for our time together. I essentially said, "please hand me my butt." And she did.I felt safe, and I appreciated her insights into strength and conditioning as well as a new-to-me sequence.I've never done aerial so early in the morning, but I loved it.

Not only for teens but also for teens but younger or older, there are classes for almost all age ranges, and she offers multiple different class options too.

gemma weinberger: Pura Vida is definatly the most accepting and empowering studios that I have trained aerials at.The owner, Alicia, is an amazing instructor and she is great at finding skills and poses that you feel comfortable with and still challenging you.Lea is also a great dance instructor and I would torally recommend doing class with her because she is easy going and supeer friendly.One of the other instructors, Carlie, is a great trapeze and flexibility teacher, so if your looking to get more flexible, I would reccomend doing a private with her.All in all, Pura Vida is a really great place to get started on your aerial journey!

Erin Lavin: I can't say enough wonderful things about this studio - my daughter has taken aerial silks and sling lessons here and has also just completed a week of their summer camp, and it has all been an amazing experience for her. On the last day of camp, she told me it was the best camp she'd ever been to and that she was so sad it was over. The owner, Alicia, is a rare gem - she's a true expert in aerial performance AND is great with kids. We are excited to spend more time here at camps and classes in the future.

Adi Gilor: Looooove this studio!I planed on going there only once a week for yoga, but ended up going 3-4 times a week since I loved the teachers, atmosphere and the variety of classes.All the teachers I've met are very professional, give attention to all the students and makes you feel proud of yourself even when you don't feel like you shoul be.Even now when I live in Israel I'm still taking online session every week at this studio with Alicia because I love her way of teaching so very much (:I sincerely recommend to all to go there. Wanda Lakey: My daughter has participated in aerial dance lessons and summer camp at Pura Vida Studio for the last year. She absolutely loves it! She mainly works with the owner, although all of the instructors there are wonderful. We have found the owner to be an amazing teacher who is extremely nurturing and patient with the students. The camp experience incorporates more than just aerial dance. The kids also learn about healthy habits for their bodies and minds, such as breathing exercises and mindfulness. Camp has truly been a positive and uplifting experience for my daughter. She would go every week if she could!

When all the lockdowns hit, Emily was devastated since all of her various summer programs were cancelled. But not Pura Vida. Alicia took the time to figure out how to still organize a summer camp that maintained proper social distancing, and ensured the safety of the campers while still being a blast, Emily came away with a fantastic experience, several new skills on various apparatuses, and a smile that she otherwise would never have had this summer
