Baba Ghannouj Mediterranean Bistro: what do users think?
Nicole O: Food as good as always. Place is starting to look run down and floor made loud sticky noise with every step. Hope this place gets the TLC it needs.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Shana Barr: First time here was a little overwhelming. The food was amazing, but being new to the table grill, we could have used better service to explain what we were doing and eating. My vegetarian daughter had difficulty finding something to eat. They could benefit from highlighting vegetarian options. We will definitely return.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Nigar Syed: I went there to get take out after a long time, very disappointed with the food, the chicken shawarma platter had no flavor, quality of the food was really bad. Not worth the price. Will not be going there again!Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
True_Will_Power: So far the best falafels in the city. Slowly getting expensive though
Mohamad haddad: Good food and good service thank youFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tony Reynolds: If you love Middle Eastern food (like I do) and you want a fast/casual experience then this is GREAT spot. They have many of the standards of this cuisine: kabobs, shawarma, falafel, gyros, various middle eastern salads (a really good selection), etc. And more importantly, they know how to cook meat. This might sound like a funny comment to make, but I've found that most Middle Eastern restaurants WAY overcook the meat that they serve, especially lamb, which leaves it dry and unenjoyable. Not so with Baba Ghannouj. The meat is cooked properly and is moist, juicy, and very flavorful. The lamb is really good (and if you don't normally eat lamb, you should try it here. Seriously). The service is fast, if not overly friendly, and so this place is great if you just want to stop and order something to go, which is what you probably want to do as the dining area is fairly small and austere. Finally, the prices are good and you get really good value for your money. My only complaint is that they aren't right across the street from where I live so I can go there more often. Just go, give them a little bit of money and make your stomach happy. You'll be glad you did.Parking: It's in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking.
David Heath: This is a good quick casual Mediterranean place. It caters more to the meat lover with a plethora of meaty options.Still has plenty of your vegan, vegetarian options. The food was good. The pricing was good. The atmosphere was similar to a subway / NY Pizzeria.Currently a mural is falling off the wall - I’m sure that’s temporary.Overall a nice quick stop fast causal restaurant.
Marissa Touhey: Always the best, quick, consistently wonderful food!
Harpreet Kaur: Recommended dishes Chicken Curry Platter, Hummus Dip, Chicken Kabob WrapMore
Leu SC: Delicious!
Max Matthews: This place is so good. Best Mediterranean I've had in this area in a long time. Didn't judge me when I asked for a second shawarma wrap. 10/10 will be here againFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cucumber Sauce, Gyro Wrap Combo, Wrap …More
Rebecca Davis: Go to Mediterranean cuisine - yum!
Claudia Ramirez: We order pick up! Amazing experience! Very good portions and incredible flavors 😍
Ladystardust04: Amazing food. Probably my favorite place to eat around here. It’s always delicious and fresh. The falafel wrap is my personal favorite but my husband has tried lots of their different items and has always enjoyed them all.
Alex L.: The best chicken shawirma of my life! Fresh ingredients, clean atmosphere, nice people. Have been coming here since 2005. Check out their kabab platters, too. Unparalleled hummus, baba gannouj and greek salad.
Robin Mehera: It was a cold Saturday afternoon and we were in the mood for some healthyish lunch. We were going to be in the area of Cary and came across this establishment. Upon arrival we were overwhelmed with the rather large menu. There was plenty of options and variety of sizes. We decided on keeping it simple and ordered some wraps with some sides and an order for fries(why not you only Yolo once). As we waited we sat down and noticed this was by far one of the dirtiest restaurants we had ever been to. They probably hadn’t dusted it since they had opened 17+ years ago. Also everything was sticky, they had cleaning wipes everywhere, for a good reason I guess. They also had 20 bottles of ketchup around the restaurant with just a little bit in each. The food finally arrived and it was ok. A bit dry for the meet and the baba Ghannouj was lacking salt. The fries were tasty and the only positive side of the food.Overall we were a bit disappointed. I would only go back if they cleaned up and tightened up the menu.
David Dorsey: Quite impressed! Everything came out beautifully presented, ingredients were fresh, seasoning very well balanced, generous portion size.Went in for a late Friday afternoon lunch, food came out within 10 minutes. I got the chicken kebab rice platter with sides of Greek Salad and cucumber yogurt dip.I'd love to come back and try some of the other items!
Robert Kaufman: I've always liked the food here and used to live closer. I usually still come by when near, with my wife. However, I won't be back on principle. I had a legitimate coupon from Attractions Dining Guide. A book of coupons. Baba Ghannouj would not honor it. Why put the coupon in the book and then not honor it? Is it a gimmick to get people in the place? Not honorable. There's plenty of places to eat.
Rabee Khan: I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and I can safely say it’s one of the few restaurants that has kept its consistency since day 1! My go to order is always the chicken shawerma combo with a side of hummus. It is always consistent, and I’ve never left feeling unsatisfied.
Green Eyes: Good food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
November December: Good food. Good service.Recommended dishes Walnut Baklava, Wrap, Gyro Wrap Combo, Falfel Wrap, Greek Salad, Kaftah Kabob Wrap, Cucumber Sauce, Chicken Kabob Wrap …More
