Allergy Partners of the Triangle: what do users think?
Melissa Cook: Extremely unprofessional. There is typically a 15 minute grace period for appointments unless it is the last appointment. Today, my appointment was scheduled for 4pm. I arrived at 4:13 pm. However, due to the office changing their schedule without notifying patients, only 5 minute grace period was given. My appointment was marked as a no show. When I inquired, I was told we changed today's schedule. I informed them that I wasn't notified. The receptionist said, that's not my fault.
Jessica Vuncannon: I am a patient of Dr Romeo. While i like him, that is it at this practice. i am not allowed to leave a message for my Dr. Told to use patient portal app but never received an invite. was told i should have gotten an invite when i first visited but was not told to be looking for an invite from “medfusion”. I asked them to leave a message to my dr and wasn’t allowed and now it’s day 3 still no invite from medfusion. what am i to do? i will ask to make a dr appointment this isn’t working for me.
James Earp: Everyone was so nice, from start to finish! I was so impressed with the doctor, nurse and especially the office staff. The lady who checked us in was so kind to my daughter, who was nervous about the appointment. Best experience at any doctor’s office I’ve ever had.
Pamela Mealer: I have been coming here for some time now but I'm not happy with the staff they are very unorganized!!! Dr. Romeo is great that's the only reason l'm still a patient! If I could skip these shots monthly I would!! It's something different everytime I come. I'm totally over the unprofessional way this office is run! Maybe a new office manager! My time means nothing to them and they will leave you sitting b/c no Dr in the office can't give shots and will not tell you anything. I'm so glad my other D's office don't conduct business like this.
D S: Dr Aarons is a great doctor. At every appoint he's always attentive and patient, answering any questions I may have. His nurse Christina was very knowledgeble and professional as well.
Mary Wolkomir: Awesome practice! They genuinely care about patients and their well being Staff is awesome, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Chrissy N: Previous allergy test from another place shows I’m allergic to 16+ things. This place came back zero. Yet I can’t walk outside more than 10 minutes without sneezing, congestion, or burning eyes. They refuse to do a retest and say that they can’t use results from another doctor. They can’t use results from another doctor but want me to go get blood testing (from another doctor) to compare results. I ask several times before they test if insurance covers this. “Yes don’t worry your insurance covers this” 4 months later hit with surprise bill.***edit*** I have called several times to try and discuss but it’s very one sided.
R C: Not a good practice for young children! I was referred here by my child's doctor for allergy testing. During the test, the nurse administering it hardly spoke to my child other than to tell her to lie down on the table. She almost treated the whole procedure robotically. When my daughter started moving and saying it hurt, the nurse just kept telling us to hold her down. We did our best, but my daughter kept crying and saying how much it hurt. The nurse didn't say anything the whole time and simply told us to wait 15 minutes for the results. I was shocked by how little experience she clearly had dealing with children and how unsympathetic she was to my daughter's pain. My daughter's back was bleeding in multiple spots from the test. The doctor and another nurse came in to see the results, and I asked if all the bleeding was normal. The nurse was quick to say, "Oh yes! It's completely normal." However, the doctor disagreed and said, "Maybe she was squirming a lot." At one point, we said the test unfortunately seemed kind of traumatic for my daughter, the nurse just said cheerily, "That's ok!" It was disturbing how callous the staff was about the whole situation. We definitely won't be back to this practice again.
Emily Stumpf: My son and I both got tested for allergies here and had really excellent experiences with Dr. Aarons. We went three different times. Each time the check in process was quick, we waited less than 3 minutes to be called each time. The nurses were very nice. Dr Aarons was very kind and patient. He listened to my concerns and explained everything thoroughly.
Brandi Taylor: Doctor Laurie was great, very knowledgeable and personable. Seemed to really care. My only complaint was being told our estimated copay based on BCBS insurance was around $180 and we were charged $288 with no detailed receipt or acknowledgement of what we've been charged for. (Allergy testing was $6.30 per test, and we had 9 done). Just was very misleading and doesn't make me want to go back.
Brooke Kern: Tangie is amazing! The nurse who came and did the testing and pricked my arm a million times 😆 her bed side manner was great!
Will McPherson: I don't even feel like a saw a real doctor here. Save your money and see another specialist.
Austin Thomas: Dr. Aaron's is great. However, the office suddenly does not pick up their phone regardless of which menu option I choose (during operating hours and not durring lunch), and there is no voice mail. I have literally been trying for two weeks and I have called at least 10 times. I should not have to go to the office in person every time I need to talk to someone at the front desk. The office needs to fix their phone system and have a voicemail, or just pick up the phone when called. This is utterly rediculous.
Juanita Morrison: Positive:Quality
Brandy Mutchler: Just called to schedule a new patient appointment. Phone rang and rang, was then answered by Jesse. I was asked to be placed on a brief hold, hung up after 5 minutes waiting. Called back and was put directly on the same hold music with not even being asked. Doesn't matter how great the doc is, if you don't have good staff patients will not come to you.
Lance Kruse: I have been getting allergy shots since I've been three years old and this practice is by far one of the best I've experienced. I transferred to this office when moving from out of state. The front desk staff and Dr. Romeo made the transition easy and efficient. They worked to replicate my serums from my previous doctor so I didn't have to start the regimen from the beginning. Dr. Romeo put a rush on my serums and my initial injections. I've been going here now for 2 months and it's been nothing but a positive experience. The shot clinic hours are quite flexible and they are always quick. I've never waited more then 5 minutes for my injections. They seem to have an efficient process set up. I would recommend Dr. Romeo and this practice for your allergy and asthma needs.
Verona Maria Chudy: I have been with the practice over 10 yrs now. I used to see Dr. LaForce and Magaret Doherty, but now I am a patient of Dr. Aarons. He is a wonderful physician! He is not only sweet & funny, but he listens very intently and asks questions about every aspect of your health. I fully trust his judgement and have sent my mother to see him. I do wish the office staff was a little more polished regarding patient hospitality & customer care, but I overlook it because I feel I am getting the best healthcare.
Cindy Rouse: You better ask what you are going to be charge!!!! Was charged over 300.00 for being a new patient. Over 400.00 for test that showed nothing. I think they should tell you what the cost might be if your insurance does not cover it. All that money and they had no answer for my headaches. I wish I could get payed like that every time a new student entered my room. At least I'd see them more than 10 minutes. Shame on you. i would have given you no stars but it won't let me.
Nikki Bryant: Friendly staff, and Dr. McWilliams is awesome and very caring with my daughter.
Alberta Curran: Always. Rey professional and doctor listens to your concerns...
Marissa Ball: My 7 month old son was scheduled for allergy testing following a food reaction. We scheduled the appointment 10 days in advance. Less than 24 hours prior to the appointment, we received a call letting us know the 8:30am slot we booked was no longer available due to an anticipated emergency with Dr. Firrincieli and they rescheduled us for 10:30am. Lo and behold, the following day at 9:20am, we received a call letting us know the appointment needed to be cancelled due to the "emergency" taking longer than anticipated. It was Friday of Memorial Day Weekend, and the practice refused to accommodate us at their Raleigh office, despite my husband and I each changing our work schedules twice (losing paid time off) and pulling our son out of day care (losing half a day of paid care). The office should have either cancelled the appointment the first time they needed to reschedule, or fit us in with another doctor at their Raleigh office. Stay far away. This practice and Dr. Firrincieli have zero respect for your time or money. I requested a call back from their office manager to discuss what happened and did not receive a call. I am furious.

Allergy Partners Of Raleigh: what do users think?
Jen T: I was referred to this office from UNC MFM and able to see Dr. Deogun on such short notice, which I greatly appreciate since I was worried about the welfare of my health affecting my baby. Although there were medical emergencies happening around the office, Dr. Deogun made me feel heard and cared for. She had wonderful bedside manner and communicated with me clearly about the next steps. I really appreciated my visit with her today and it put me at ease. I highly recommend seeing her! Front desk receptionist and nurse was nice and welcoming as well!
Annie: Do Not Come.It was the worst experience ever.I had to wait for 1-2hours to see a doctor even though I always came 5 minutes earlier for the appointments. They ordered a shot that I didn’t request and missed one allergen test for the patch testing. None of them are professional. I will never ever come back.
Andria R: We see Dr. Gutekunst and go here for allergy shots. They overcharged us by $130 on the serum - their error - and will not make it right. In fact they won’t even return a call and I talk to the office staff about this EVERY WEEK when I see them and just get the runaround. These reviews are all spot on unfortunately.
diane dinh: I’m trying to schedule for my son to get his allergy test, after on and off the phone for half an hour the person on the the phone refused my appointment to another location and put me on hold again. It’s very poor for customer services
Adam Pierce: Rude staff honestly
Charity Tart: Staff was friendly and doctor was explained everything during my visit
Insoo Hendricks: Good people. But scheduling issues not uncommon.
Abbey: Every time I came in here the girls were always so friendly and welcoming. It was always an easy process!
Samantha Bracy: Today my son had an appointment at the Cary location. We misunderstood the appointment was at 2pm. We are always on time and never missed an appointment. The receptionist asked my husband to ask the shot nurse if she still administer the shot. She blatantly looked at him rudely and said “NO”. What baffles me was the unprofessionalism from the office staff, shot nurse especially, and Dr. Deogons Nurse. I was told to call the office manager but after all of the staffs response to us, I figured she show the same unprofessional demeanor towards me.This office did not show proper healthcare work ethics. Dr. Deogons nurse wasn't compassionate towards the situation. Im saddened by the staffs response towards my husband and I. After, this new last appointment we will be looking for a new Asthma specialists. No compassion knowing he needed his shot. It takes 10 minutes to mix the shot solution. The nurse basically didn’t seem to care. Our child has seen you for years and you basically didnt work out a resolution.
Salvador Gonzalez: Excelente 👌
Srinath Alapati: Ordered vials in January. They were emailing regularly until I gave them the money (January). Communication stopped. Sent messages twice via the secure portal with no responses. Are they still in business? Called them once, I was told someone would call me back but nothing. Update 2: After calling them multiple times (in Feb and March), we ended up going by and was told they forgot to order the vials. We then decided to cancel the order since they have never been ordered for 7+ weeks. We are now waiting for a refund.
Debbie Narron: Dr. G is without a doubt the best. She has gone WAY ABOVE and Beyond to help me. I highly recommend her.
Imsaynn dough: Some of the staff is pretty great. However if you are a person of color DO NOT expect to be treated with professionalism! Especially from Dr. Deogun.
Stephen K.: I try to give people a fair shake but this place is absolutely terrible. Front desk is rude. Remaining staff is unprofessional and uninformative. Dr. Gutekunst was not helpful at all. Her new patient "exam" took 3 minutes. The $ amount I was given was nowhere near close to what I was charged. I also received no valuable information or help. Please avoid this place.
Terence McElroy: This is a great place. I showed up right at my appointment time and was seen right away. The receptionist and nurse were very nice and helpful. Dr. Bains was very patient and attentive. The facility is also very clean. Had a great experience here.
Victoria Woodland: Shot clinic hours are the most inconvenient. Some staff is responsible and helpful, while the others don’t know what they are doing and don’t care. One time, they refused to do a shot to my daughter, because her bill was not paid, while they had no right to send her away and the bill was not even sent to us. Later on, there were billing issues. Next - total lack of communication and basic office business practice: in almost two weeks, nobody returned my calls or even tried to track down the problem. When I personally tried to solve the issue, nobody knew what happed and why and why nobody bothered to call a customer in two weeks. The only reason we are still with them is the proximity to our house; otherwise, we would have found another place long ago
Susan Hu: We have been patient with Dr. Deogun a while, but for my experience I think she might need more patience and more empathy communication skills. I agree she’s a good Doctor as my husband said, but ...
Victor Garza: Let’s get the office hours and awful customer service out of the way first.Scheduled an allergy test to see what I could possibly be allergic too. Left with no answer or direction. The doctor came into my room asking a series of question trying to get an idea of what I may be experiencing. After discussing to her of what I thought it may be she then takes that to the office staff after she leaves the room and they all start to snicker as if my past allergic reactions were some sort of comedy.Would not recommend this place at all. Be aware. Hands down the worse place to be if you are serious about trying to figure out what your allergies are. Don’t go here if you want to safe your life the next time you go into anaphylactic shock.
Tamera Kreh: I've been dealing with severe itching for about 4 months and was referred here. My initial impression was that the staff and doctor was friendly and seemed to care about how miserable and frustrated I am. I was told to start medications and if in 3 days I didn't feel any better to call. This was a Thursday. I ran a few errands and went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions. They hadn't been sent over yet. I checked back later and they still hadn't been sent over. I tried to call the office, but couldn't get anybody. Went to the pharmacy the next morning, still no prescriptions. So I drove over to the office in the morning. It was closed. Monday, 4 days of more misery, I get through and they finally send 1 of the prescriptions. ...? So I have to call them AGAIN, to have them send over the rest. This doesn't give me a lot of confidence in future treatment.
Salah Hamed: This review is for Dr. Gutekunst. She is the best asthma doctor I have seen in years. She followes up on each test result and weekly checkins to ensure that the new meds are good and I am doing well. I mean who does that? Most providers have the nurse to do that, but not Dr.Gutekunst she goes above and beyond. Very impressed by her and I highly recommend!
Tamila Kostenko: Cary office - a rude, bossy, crossed-eyed nurse. I don’t feel welcome. Moreover, she called my husband at work (during a meeting) to drop everything and come because she is leaving (a child with allergies was at school). What kind of emergency is that?! 🤔😡

Sandy Prats: One visit and will not return. They made me to pay $200 copay apart from Insurance. Tried calling for clarification and no proper response.
Jessica: YES!! Dr. Judge and his assistant (the young lady who just moved from Ohio?) was AMAZING. He provided me with information that MANY doctors have failed to see as to what may be wrong with our toddler. He also spent such quality one on one time with us as well; which, is rare with doctors now-a-days. The reception was very friendly too. Did I mention that our butts barely hit the chairs in the waiting room before we were called back?! Our experience, was a short wait time.

Triangle Allergy Asthma: what do users think?
Shane Phillips: I have suffered from chronic sinusitis and asthma for over 15 years. I have had sinus surgery, medicines, a daily steroid inhaler etc to try fix these health issues without success. After seeing Dr Gayam she put me on Dupixent which cured my asthma and sinus problems. I can finally breathe normally again and I can't say enough about how much Dr Gayam changed my life. If you suffer like I did go see her.
David Langenberg: I have been going to triangle allergy and asthma for many years. Doctor Gayam is amazing! This is a doctor who is seeing patients giving shots and having time to answer the phone. There aren't many doctors in the world that could pull this off. The office staff has always been extremely helpful and I couldn't appreciate them more! Thank you doc and staff for all you do!
WENDY COOK: Great experience with Dr. Gayam and the front office. I felt like my concerns were heard with thorough testing.
Steven First: Dr Gayam has changed our teenage daughters life for the better. She sneezed every single morning and several times a day. No matter what medicine or doctor or nasal spray or air purifier or new mattress and any of that worked. And it went on for years. She couldn't sleep well which made it even worse. As parents, we felt awful. Then we heard about this clinic. We were apprehensive at first because we had tried everything. So I can understand why some patients are not so willing to trust. But that's what it takes with Dr Gayam if you want results. And you can trust her. This is one of those times when you can put your guard down and know that she and her staff will treat your child like it was their own. But it takes patience. It has taken a couple years of shots to get our daughters body not to react to specific allergens anymore. But it was so worth it. When she comes home for college break we don't even know she's here because she doesn't seenze. What a relief it has been for especially her but us too.
Chelsea Bowen: I have been going to TAA for 8 years. They have been a tremendous help and have always been friendly.
yolanda Wilson: Dr Gayam is very knowledgeable, thorough and attentive. She takes the time to listen, asks the right questions, makes sure I understand, and that makes me very comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!
Changing Up: Why I was disappointed?Prior to the appointment, I informed the office staff why I needed testing with health insurance. The staff place me on hold, returned to the telephone, and said, "yes, the doctor can test your daughter without a referring doctor, not required."Day of arrival, prior to check in, I asked again if my daughter can be tested. The lady at the desk walked back to ask the doctor who said, "yes, I can test her."The doctor came for us and said, (in the hallway) that she can order the MAST cell activation but explained the Histamine Urine lengthy process and the cost. Once WE got inside of the doc's office, she started to talk about Lyme and other stuff (uninformed) then the insurance cost for the Histamine testing.I told doc that I had contacted the insurance company for coverage prior to the appointment and both of her staff people had informed her prior to ME making the appointment---before driving to Cary--- the doctor's response was a doctor's referral is needed and she offered a referring doctor...(side eye). The disappointment- IF- I were rightfully informed prior to the appointment, I could have had one of many doctors to send in a referral...that no TRADITIONAL medical documentation can find LYME OR ITS CO INFECTION...exhales!The conversation over the "telephone" was said but not honored. I wasted my time and my daughter's energy. Our rights to be fully informed upfront, was denied. Instead, I was hustled in the office, the office took my fee money, and used the time to hustle the insurance company for consulting that was basic, useless, and insensitive to "tick triggering illnesseses".(((( Lyme was created and escaped a lab. Lyme is man made))))I feel that Lyme in NC (FINDING A DOCTOR WHO CAN STOP DISEASE PROGRESSION, Knowledge of Lyme and the hijacked body, OR FIND THE ROOT OF IT through alternative testing methods) is a travesty in Lyme CARE treatment, poor TESTING, and medical help is daunting unless one meets an 😇.Unfortunately, Lyme families are taken advantage of financially and insurance companies are billed for Lyme sickness that is greatly misunderstood and is "another pending crisis" in society is on the horizon.It's...shameful.Luckily, my daughter had another doctor's appointment on this day and it was amazing to have left this place to travel 1.5 hours away to be heard and validated that MY DAUGHTER NEEDS HELP, testing will be done, and she CAN GET HER OPTIMAL HEALTH BACK!!!To Lyme angels and warriors, don't give UP there are MEDICAL angels among US!#savethyself#RebeldocsXists#GunviolenceandTicktricks-R-triggeringME
Nicole Bender: (Written from my partner's POV)After visiting this location twice for asthma treatment I was still not having any help with my symptoms. I attempted to make another appointment to no avail. After several weeks I finally got in contact with them again - a gentleman named Srini - and was told I had an outstanding balance of almost $200, which I had never been notified of. After explaining I had no knowledge of this, but would be willing to pay, I was told they would take me to court. After attempting to call several times after, my partner was finally able to get through (they wouldn't answer from my number). They informed her that they had the wrong address on file (but had our phone number and email, just never used it). After the payment was completed my partner confirmed we would not "be seeing them in court" as they had threatened. Srini proceeded to tell my partner that I was a child and needed to grow up. He also informed my partner that he had "been doing this for a long time and isn't worried" that we were upset. He proceeded to tell my partner that I was childish and in the wrong (I understandably had gotten upset after being told we were going to court or collections over an amount I was trying to pay).Don't waste your money here. They simply want money and have no concept of customer service.
The Ruff Is On Fire: These people are the worst start with the baby that answers the phone they don’t help anyone and I was told to find someone else
Emma B: I wish Dr. Gayam was a family physician and not just a specialist, because I would switch today!! I have suffered with sinus issues for 20+ years. I had gotten used to no sense of smell or taste over the years. I have always been told it was allergies and been given steroids and antihistamines with no relief. I even had one specialist tell me surgery was my only option for relief. After only two visits with Dr. Gayam, she solved it all with one treatment method that didn’t involve surgery or an overload of prednisone and antihistamines. I have been able to smell and taste food for the first time in years!! I am so grateful for the relief!! She provided information that changed my qualify of life that no one over the years of seeking relief was able to do. I recommend her to anyone who is sick of just having medication pushed on you with no results and has not been able to find the answers they need anywhere else. You will not be sorry. She takes her time, listens to you, and genuinely cares about finding the right answer to restore your quality of life.
Alicia Sheeley: These people are so helpful and kind. Listened to everything I had to say and were completely transparent with payments and medicine. My doctor even recommended I bring coupons to the pharmacy. 100% recommended
Mikala Sipple: She takes the most time to examine every possible causes of symptoms, is very personable, and goes out of her way to ensure a timely work-up.
Michelle H: Doc takes time with you, and will assist in giving shots that is best for you.
Q Pretty: The doc I saw seemed like she had just started. Did nothing to help me with my allergies besides tell me what I already knew. Kept talking about asthma after I told her that my asthma was completely fine and has been fine for years I was there for my allergies. Basically told me nothing. No tips, or nothing. Told me about a pill and shots but I felt like she was just trying to prescribe something. I will get my records transferred and see another allergy doc. Complete waste of my time!!
Dana Baransky: Great Doctor! Very professional.
Jyothi Ranjan: It's amazing to find a doctor who truly, truly cares about her patients more than just making money. Went to see her based on friends' recommendations as I'm new to the area, and needed to have my daughter tested for Allergy and Asthma. I was very anxious as my child is very shy, cautious and has major phobias about doctors and needles, having had many harrowing experiences in doctors' offices, so, imagine my shock, when Dr. Gayam worked her gentle loving magic on my child, explaining everything clearly to my child, she was able to get my child to trust her, the visit went beautifully, no panic attack for me or my child (lol). I simply don't have enough discriptives to express how great she is at what she does!
con ure: Great allergy doctor!
Kaylah and Jesse Mills: office policy was pay up front for allergy testing and i get reimbursed instead of $15 co pay when my insurance stated they pay for the service that was needed and i schedule and appointment and they waited until i arrived in office to tell them.. there office policy sucks esp when my child needs her yearly testing. will not go to them AGAIN
Montie Roland: Great to see a Dr. that looks at your situation holistically. She took the time asks lots of questions, review test results and then help me setup a game plan. There was a 15 minutes of testing and then over an hour of questions, discussion, and specific suggestions laying out where to go from here! Great doctor!

Dr. Padmaja R. Gayam, MD: what do users think?
james casazza: I have been going to Dr Gayam for many years with excellent results. Dr Gayam is both very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Gayam.
Michelle H: Dr. Gayam has performed a lot of research in order to better assist what was happening to me at work. She read a lot of literature and finally found an article that was stating conditions similar to my experience. Dr. Gayam spends time to understand your conditions and does not just push you in and out of the door.
Marlon Freckleton: The best diagnosis of my medical Allergic conditions. This was further extended to the amazing respect from her peers at Duke Medical VA
Jyothi Ranjan: If there was an award for the best doctor in the WORLD, Dr. Gayam would win it. She is the most gentle and caring doctor I've ever been too. I have been going to Dr. Gayam for over 10 years!! She makes each and every visit unlike any other doctor. Always explains what's going on and checks up after. Thank you Dr. Gayam!!!
Mary Zimonksi: This doctor is a right rip-off!! Strongly Do NOT recommend going here. I went to her for a minor skin rash. Upon asking what my expected costs might be, I was informed "regular office visit is approx. $150 but my insurance will take care of the most". No tests were done. No procedures. No x-rays. No prescription either. This "doctor" Padmaja just asked me to buy an off-the shelf ointment to treat the rash. A few days later I got a huge, fat bill of $550. Wow!! I would actually give ZERO stars to this cheat of a doctor.
Michele Myers: Dr Gayam has treated me for eight years. She helped me breath again. My allergies were so severe they caused major breathing difficulties. My primary care manager could do nothing more for me. When I came to her I was focusing on each breath and had to sleep sitting up so I could get air. I’m so happy she treats me. I’m sure other allergists are closer, but I am happy to make the drive.
Cat Sisson: I came to Dr. Gayam from a very large allergy practice in Atlanta. What a difference! She gives her own shots, so you see her every time you go in. She retested me (the other Dr. had not done that in the ten years I saw him) and found my allergies are much less sever than they were and was able to reformulate my serum accordingly. I fell so much better.
