We had an associate name Chastite and not only did she help us to figure out what we needed to do, she was the nicest and friendliest associate. Kudos to Appraisal Nation for your help, but MANY MANY kudos to Chastite for her top-notch service and overall amazing, fun attitude.
Tamisha Cummings: Please listen to the reviews this company is absolutely awful!! Their appraiser is marking my 5 bedroom home as a 4 bedroom, he refused to acknowledge the over 334 sq ft. Addition on my home taking away from my appraisal amount as well. Appraisal comps are supposed to be home’s recently sold in similar size and condition which was not done for me. I was robbed of a bedroom, over 334 sq ft, and my appraiser used listings instead of homes recently sold. Don’t walk run away from this company! I’m filing a complaint as well to the real estate board.Update:I appealed the appraisal and the appraiser insists on moving forward with intentionally wrong information documented in my report and refusing to rectify. So I will be seeking legal action
Dee: DO NOT USE: Very rude. Our lender canceled the loan application. Getting refund from Appraisal Nation is a battle. To this day, they claim that my lender needs to send them an email for them to release my funds. DO NOT USE. Avoid at all cost
D B: Do not use this appraisal company!! We have worked with numerous appraisal companies and they are the downright worst in any capacity. The appraisals were overpriced, factually wrong and laughably low. We burned $2740 on 4 horrid appraisals that left zero equity for a $100k+ cash out loan. Its unfathomable that an appraiser would show up and be downright rude. After shouting orders to us he told us not to call him if we need anything. We had to work with a different lender and had to pay for new appraisals that were factually correct, courteous, utilizing facts and logic.
Faith Hernandez: These people were supposed to properly inspect the home I was purchasing instead I was cheated of having a functioning air conditioner had they inspected the home properly they would have found that the A/c was not working and just sitting above the roof with a new base and no air ducts!!!!
Joshua Parsons: Our lender said we have to use this company because "they are the cheapest" even though I paid for one 2-3 weeks earlier on a different house that we were attempting to purchase that was $300 less. On top of that, they refuse to release the report to me even though I'm the one that paid for it stating "our point of contact is the lender, so you have to get it from them" Would not recommend based on price and customer service.The house across the street from the one we're buying sold 3 months ago for $30,000 over what our appraisal came in at, even with it being 400 less sq ft, and 1 less bedroom. What are you even using for comps?
Tamairo Moutry: With so much negative publicity here, why can't this company be shut down? This is really sad! Too bad there's not an option for a zero star here! LOL! Unfortunately, they don't care about anyone but their own pockets. They are also ok with overcharging borrowers for fees, even if the fee falls back on the seller. Again, they are greedy, uncooperative and unprofessional. They refused to let a seller pay for a $100 trip charge when the appraiser couldn't get into a property. This was not my buyer's fault. They were ok charging my buyer the fee instead. I see why the rating is so low here. I'll make sure that any new Lender that I use, won't involve using them for anything!

julie schultz: DO NOT USE!!! I was forced to use this appraisal company, twice. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! They are going by comps from a year ago. The first appraisal came in $40,000 (YES FORTY THOUSAND) under value. The second property they appraised was $25,000 under value. EVERYTHING IS MORE EXPENSIVE NOW, INCLUDING REAL ESTATE!! These “appraisers” need to be educated with the market that is in real time, not use comps from a year ago! This company is costing time and money for sellers, buyers, agents etc. 2008 was a LONG time ago people! You are hurting peoples businesses by these ridiculous low ball appraisals. Even though the comps clearly show they under value properties, Appraisal Nation could care less who it hurts as it doesn’t hurt their business whatsoever. Time for accountability and time to appraise in REAL TIME!! DO NOT USE!!! I cannot stress that enough!
Ryan Garnett: Terrible experience. Appraised a property at $150k less than other comps provided to him. Showed a rental appraisal at $3600 for a 4000 sq ft lake house. His comp was a 1400 sq ft rental for $3000. Doesn't use accurate comps to support his findings. Ridiculously high cost of $1400 for an appraisal. Never ever again will I allow my lender to use this company.
Alex Priest: I would go to the zoo and find a monkey to do my appraisal before I used these guys again. The most incompetent individuals I have ever seen work at a company. They guys are so bad they can’t even get my address correct on my appraisal. I send in a dispute form months ago and still haven’t heard back. There are really good at disputing credit card charges tho.
A: Got scammed by this company I don’t think this people legit at all! We got cameras all over the property and I stayed home the day they said appraisal show up and did appraisal lol got plenty proof that no one was there that day!Wasted two and half months waiting for appraisal to find out is scam company

We paid for the appraisal since March 4th. We're still waiting for the report. Now, we are at risk of losing our property plus our initial deposit. Sickening. How is the business still open.

Sheri Bell: The appraiser was terrible. First they messed up the billing - $800!! - then the appraiser missed a 400 square foot addition on the back of the house. Plus the HUGE screened pool on the back of the house. So the appraisal came back very low. He also wrote that the property was leased. It was owner occupied. This caused all sorts of problems with underwriting and delayed the purchase. I will never use this company again. I will change lenders first.

Luis Peralta: BEAWARE! I paid more money to have my appraisal "expedited" (for over a week a half) just to receive an appraisal with the wrong property information and used comparables almost a mile away when the block over had most recent sold properties. After my lender and I realized the mistake Appraisal Nation sent a new appraisal with new mistakes. I reached out to the field person who visited the property and he recognized the mistake and told me to send a rebuttal. Why don't just do your job right the first time? I have lost a lot of time and money with their services. I have strongly complain with my lender and they are looking to get a different appraiser. This is the 5th time appraisal nation makes the same mistake and continue to maintain the same field personal. I hope this helps lenders, realtors, closing attorneys and buyers on the search of a reliable, accurate and professional appraisal company.
