Tony Reynolds: If you love Middle Eastern food (like I do) and you want a fast/casual experience then this is GREAT spot. They have many of the standards of this cuisine: kabobs, shawarma, falafel, gyros, various middle eastern salads (a really good selection), etc. And more importantly, they know how to cook meat. This might sound like a funny comment to make, but I've found that most Middle Eastern restaurants WAY overcook the meat that they serve, especially lamb, which leaves it dry and unenjoyable. Not so with Baba Ghannouj. The meat is cooked properly and is moist, juicy, and very flavorful. The lamb is really good (and if you don't normally eat lamb, you should try it here. Seriously).The service is fast, if not overly friendly, and so this place is great if you just want to stop and order something to go, which is what you probably want to do as the dining area is fairly small and austere.Finally, the prices are good and you get really good value for your money. My only complaint is that they aren't right across the street from where I live so I can go there more often. Just go, give them a little bit of money and make your stomach happy. You'll be glad you did.Parking: It's in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking.

Upon arrival we were overwhelmed with the rather large menu. There was plenty of options and variety of sizes.We decided on keeping it simple and ordered some wraps with some sides and an order for fries(why not you only Yolo once).As we waited we sat down and noticed this was by far one of the dirtiest restaurants we had ever been to. They probably hadn’t dusted it since they had opened 17+ years ago. Also everything was sticky, they had cleaning wipes everywhere, for a good reason I guess.They also had 20 bottles of ketchup around the restaurant with just a little bit in each.The food finally arrived and it was ok. A bit dry for the meet and the baba Ghannouj was lacking salt.The fries were tasty and the only positive side of the food.Overall we were a bit disappointed. I would only go back if they cleaned up and tightened up the menu.

Robert Kaufman: I've always liked the food here and used to live closer. I usually still come by when near, with my wife. However, I won't be back on principle. I had a legitimate coupon from Attractions Dining Guide. A book of coupons. Baba Ghannouj would not honor it. Why put the coupon in the book and then not honor it? Is it a gimmick to get people in the place? Not honorable. There's plenty of places to eat.

Rabee Khan: I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and I can safely say it’s one of the few restaurants that has kept its consistency since day 1! My go to order is always the chicken shawerma combo with a side of hummus. It is always consistent, and I’ve never left feeling unsatisfied.

The gentleman that served us looked like a family member of the owner. I could be wrong. But the other servers had to pick up all his faults. He gave us our drinks including soda with no ice. Not to mention he never asked us for what we wanted to drink. Just a minute before our food came out he just gave us 3 waters mind you there was 4 of us. After our meal came out my husband had to ask him for a drink. Not cool. We let him know from the beginning that I had sesame seed allergy so he said that he would bring us bread without it. Instead he brought us the one with seeds anyways after waiting almost 15 minutes. Then I reminded him no seeds and he went back and told them. We ordered hummus and they brought that out right away but what were we supposed to eat with it? He left and didn’t even say a word to us. Just rude! We were just sitting there waiting until we realized that the owner sitting there doing his bookkeeping didn’t care. He was gone and now the other two wait staff were left to pick up his work. They had no idea what was going on but they gracefully took care of us. Which this shouldn’t have happened. I do also want to point out that the waiter took on 2 other tables and we watched him take care of them before he left. Their drinks had ice and they even got refills but we didn’t. Just disappointingWe got our meal and it wasn’t bad but definitely had better.I think after reading so many great reviews I was hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, it only took a waiter to ruin it.If they are family and they are working they should still treat customers with kindness, respect and dignity. Because if they were outside hired employees they wouldn’t tolerate it.As much as I hate to say it but I believe race and culture played a big factor here.

Preston Absher: We came in on Father's day and had an excellent meal. All of the food was great. Our mixed appetizer was excellent, the bread was very good, and all of our food was delicious and well done. I really liked Turkish tea as well. However our server seemed stretched thin. We saw him about every 30 minutes. Our tea was refilled by another server. We never got the silverware and extra bread we asked for. Definitely will be back. Just expect it to take some time.

We were impressed with the number of vegetarian options. Everything we got was delicious and packed with flavor (the stuffed grape leaves were so good they didn't even make it into the pictures 🤣). Jamaal Jameel: The food here is so delicious! Very fair pricing and very nice portions. Atmosphere is lacking, but the service and food taste/quality make up for it. We happened to come just before a rush, so it took a while for our order to be taken and for the free bread & olive oil (with bits of olive in it to come out). But I can’t count against that in my overall rating because it was apparent they were short staffed. We were lucky to get our order in first before all those that came in after us, and surprisingly, it only took about 15 minutes (so not bad since we were scarfing down the complimentary bread and dip). We got a HUGE mixed platter for four and a couple other dishes for the kids. Chicken kabobs, chicken kofta, beef/lamb kofta, and yeero meat served over a bed of rice and garnished with some roasted tomatoes and hot peppers. I almost forgot, we got cubed liver as an appetizer (garnished with onion and sumac - I think), and I got a yogurt drink. Overall, super pleased with our dinner that evening!

Hafsa Shamim: Hands down THE BEST Mediterranean restaurant in Cary! From their paninis to shawermas to bowls everything is delicious and not to mention healthy! The gyro meat is super juicy, their Jasmin special sauce is tangy, hummus is creamy yum yum yum. The whole menu is a must try. Service is super quick too. Whenever we visit Cary this is the place we eat the most from. Love it! Keep it up guys!

John Cotter: This place is the Krispy Kreme donuts of Falafel, except their "Hot Falafel" sign is always lit. Best Falafel in town. Crispy outside, moist inside. Moist. It defies physics. I don't understand it but I don't think about it too hard. This falafel is going to feel like a back rub for your mouth. It's a religious experience. Falafelluia. When you hold the falafel, you will never have held anything like it, and you will fully realize it. It's the perfect size and weight. I honestly feel as though it has the potential to bring about world peace. You will remember how good it is and you will get it again. You will tell your friends and family about the falafel to show how cultured you are, and they will be impressed.

Tyshaun Ednez: The workers were rude and got upset because they.messed up an order and had to redo it. They alsogotnuoawt because they tried to serve us which look like old food and my partner asked for a fresh batch. My partner expressed concerns to the manager and instead of correcting his staff, he brushed it off. We could also tell they were making rude comments about my partner as well in side huddles. We love Jasmin at other locations, we just won't be returning to this particular one.

Angelo DeVita: As usual Sassool's is excellent Mediterranean food period. A very broad selection of cold and hot items including grilled protein items I usually get the pick 4 and get four vegetables usually two hots and too colds plus pita bread. Can be busy at popular times but has indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend it if you like this style of food, it's the best in the triangle.

Shashank vedula: Food is great, I made a doordash order. But the doordash messed up on the delivery so had to drive myself to pick up. Anyways, food is so good, would love to try once more. Just that they were out of pita breads, so little dissappointed with that, may be because doordash messed up delivery, so by the time I went they were out of it. They should have added in my pickup bag. I would definitely recommed to try over here, possible dine in, ambience is good.

Simeon Snow: This is a cozy Mediterranean food place with a lot of options on the menu. There was a small store like area in the beginning of the line followed by a line where you order food. The most common option is to choose from a list of sides to put on your plate with options for desserts near the end of the line. I came with a large group and our meals were all incredibly fresh and savory. Would definitely come here again!
