Michael Clinkscales: The Cary Arts Center is a fantastic location for local groups to perform. Clean and comfortable facilities. Kind people serving the facility and community.
Alonza Smith: They were having a conference call Connecting Cities. This was very informative about some of the new technologies that Cary is testing and possibly going to implement.

The Lady Starr G.: This historic site is a really nice venue. The only thing negative was handicap parking, but I was a little late. So if you really require the handicap parking, I highly suggest getting there early so you can park near the building.

Allison Kalloo: Such an amazing evening, despite the power outtage delay!! Attended the A.J. Croce concert, and he was absolutely phenomenal!! Not only immensely talented in his own right, but a charming and engaging and humble storytelling master!! He played to a packed house in the virtual dark-- with no acoustical amplification-- and it was nothing short of magical. No regrets, Cary Arts Center. But next time you lose power, just move it outside for an al fresco experience (weather permitting)!
Eleanor Thorne: We used the Cary Arts Center for a Real Estate Conference, and it was PERFECT! The Staff, esepcially Russ Hughes, were kind and helpful - it was a beautiful venue for REBarCampRDU, and we appreciate the support so much! Most of us had lunch on the front steps!

Best place for a Husband-n-Wife date night experience. After having sushi in Cary, my husband and I went to the art studio and had a wonderful time creating our holiday paintings. We had a red wine tasting; BYOB on this night. We laughed, learned, giggled, and had just a fantastic and memorable time. Claire was absolutely adorable and was so patient with us. We are definitely going back with a larger group, but this time there will be more wine.
Our weekly coffee meetup had plans to go elsewhere last Thursday to paint but unfortunately they canceled last minute. Kathy & her daughter Lauren fit us all in no questions asked. We all had such a wonderful & relaxing time. Lots of laughs, Lauren made painting so much fun & easy to do. I would certainly do it again!
We had a bridal shower party and wanted to say we had a wonderful time. Our instructor was patient and very nice. Thanks for a great time.

My daughter can't wait each week to see what she's painting and we have some amazing art on display at our house that she's created. Ms. Lauren is so positive and helpful to all the students to learn new paint skills but also to follow their own creativity.
We are new to the area and had the pleasure of visiting on Valentines night. We have done several of these type events in the past. The instructor here was amazing. She genuinely encouraged every single individual on their own level, and offered guidance tailored to everyone's personal needs. There was not one moment of rushed participation. Sarah A.: Such a fun experience! My friend booked our group of approximately 20 people for a private paint night. We were able to bring our own food and wine and everything else was provided. Lauren was a great teacher and super patient with all of us. She was also super helpful. We spent about 2.5 hours there and left with our new paintings. I would definitely recommend!
Marcus Harris: I discovered Cheers N Paint earlier this year and enrolled my son in their Little Splatters class. It was such a great experience, we've been back multiple times since. Lauren is an amazing teacher, highly knowledgeable and very engaging with all the kids in the class. My son continues to learn so much from her.I highly recommend Cheers N Paint to any parent looking to help enhance their kids' artistic skills.
Courtney: This was a cute and well set up place. However, my partner and I went last night for a couples painting and the paintings were not aligned properly when drawn. It was a painting of a couple embracing under an umbrella in the rain. And the right said of the combined painting was much higher than the left side. They did not align properly. The drawing itself was so poorly drawn that the left side person didn’t look normal. My partner and I changed the painting so it could look a little more even, but that should have been done with the original drawing. We paid for this service and the one job of having the painting being drawn properly was not done. We will not be going back here.

Dan Shapiro: This place is sooo much fun!! A covid safe activity- lots of social distancing, masks, and limited number of customers. Everything is provided to you. Bring your food/wine/beer and get ready for an awesome time. This was my first time doing a painting and it came out really good. The teacher does a great job going at your pace and giving you tips along the way.
Kim Hank: During this time of the world, this was the perfect place to go. I took some 4th graders here to celebrate my son's birthday and the owners are wonderful! Patience for one with a group of boys at this age. Very responsive to every text. They practiced social distancing and did temperature checks; I think these measures made the parents feel comfortable with sending their kiddos. So thank you!

Jen Burwell: I had a fabulous time here with my friend. We had a 6 person class and all the 3 pairs had their own table. The teacher wore a mask the whole time but was amazingly personable and fun to work with. The whole place was super clean and made all the participants feel comfy even with their own food and drink.We did a simple picture of flowers with a gradient background that left a lot of creative freedom for everyone. It was a blast. Go there!

The instructor was very good, walked us through how to do everything step by step and how one color should go in what order, plus why. Kind of in an odd location but still found it easily.

Leslie Huffman: Working with Shalimar on a custom piece for my home was fantastic. I had been following her for a long time and knew that I needed one of her paintings. I love her style, use of color, technique and abstract feel. I shared my room colors and layout and let her know that I love lots of color and flowers. She painted something that not only hangs prominently above the fireplace, but makes me feel happy every time I look at it.

Ashley Allen: Art by Shalimar is a uniquely wonderful addition to downtown Cary. Her use of color and texture is mesmerizing, and if you’re lucky, you can catch her in the process when you visit. We’ve purchased several pieces for ourselves and gifted to family and friends. Her “Drained” piece (pictured) is perfect in our entryway and I love seeing it everyday. Definitely stop by to see Shal’s work in person.

We purchased one of Shal’s larger pieces in that collection and Shal shipped it to us when her show was over.
