Desjonne D: If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. What I experienced today was highly unprofessional. My meeting was scheduled for 5 pm which is right at the end of business hours. I called earlier to request for an email of the confidentiality agreement so that I could email it back promptly and leave more time to talk about my patent. I never received it. As I’m in my office preparing for my meeting I hear the phone ring. It’s only 4:48 so I answer the phone, but it hangs up as soon as I pick it up. I call the number back immediately and it sends me to the receptionist for today at invent help in Cary. She says Renee ( the person I was supposed to be meeting) was on the phone with someone and that I’ll have to call tomorrow to set up another meeting. I informed the receptionist that the person she was on the the phone with was supposed to be me but not until 5 pm. At that moment I get a text from Renee telling me she called and that I would again need to set up an appointment. I inform the receptionist what is happening though she doesn’t seem to care. She just kept saying I’ll have to call back because she’s with someone. I replied with” Me. She’s on the phone with me. I literally just received a text from her. If you could just walk over to her and tell her I am on the phone I’m sure she will continue with our scheduled.....” that was all I could get out of my mouth before I heard a the sound of disconnection. I don’t know if it’s improper training or that some people have this disconnect due to social distancing but I have never been treated so rudely in my life by a business. I would not recommend this place at all for any serious persons wanting to create their dreams. I will be sending this letter to corporate.

J Walt Granecki: This review is a bit delayed; however I want to share the exquisite service received by Mr. Palmer. He truly went above and beyond to ensure that documents were legally obtained within a timely manner before my late mother passed over the summer.Without going into the details, my mother unexpectedly got sick and within two months of diagnoses passed during the pandemic. Duffy made time to have multiple phone calls and zoom meeting with the family to ensure my mothers trust would be legal established as well as POA and other documentation to override a previously established trust from when my brother and I were younger.Ultimately, Duffy had to meet us at the hospital at a peak, only one-visitor at a time pandemic lock-down, in the pouring rain, in the evening time, and got himself and two witnesses in to sign all the documents written up to my mother's wishes and satisfaction. While this has all been very hard and difficult to write, as memories of my mother's unfortunate health issue and loss of her vibrant smile over the holidays, Duffy truly made the paperwork side of this all extremely easy and legally binding. He made himself available after for questions and directed us appropriately for questions he wasn't legally comfortably answering (mostly tax stuff).All in all, I had to go through the Estate process when my father passed 15 years ago and it was a nightmare, costly, and took 2.5 years to close. With Duffy's knowledge, expertise, and guidance we were able to avoid the probate process and use all the additional materials he provided to make it all happen within weeks. Some of the banks/institutions surprisingly pushed-back on some of the documentation, but I believe it's because everything transpired so quickly with my mom's health that we went from Power of Attorney's to Beneficiaries and were signing other documentation on my mom's behalf. In conclusion, all the of the documentation was accepted and allowed my brother and I to accomplish exactly what my mother wished with her health and finances, which just speaks to the professional services provided.If you need any type of estate planning, I couldn't recommend Palmer Estate enough.
