Lucas Simoes: Great food. Or server was perfect, enough attention yet enough attending. Food was delicious. Plentiful. Definitely going back
Andy G: I've been a Lucky 32 customer since the 1990s. My date & I decided to dine at L32 in Cary & afterwards watch the July 4th fireworks. Everything, & I mean everything, at the Cary Lucky 32 was either bad or mediocre. I began with the Strawberry Mule with double vodka. It was served in a small 5-oz rocks glass with a lot of ice ($17.50).Next, Fried Green Tomatoes, heavily battered, deep fried, & served with a clashing sweet sauce. Neither of us could taste the deeply-hidden green tomato slices. Neither my date nor I liked it, but ate some of it because we were hungry. We were seated beside a very noisy 6-top; everyone at the table laughed & talked loudly enough to be heard throughout the place. We asked & were moved about 30' away, still wasn't far enough but we lived with it.Entrees: I got the crab cakes ($29) with green beans & grits. The crab cakes & beans were served stone cold, no detectable warmth. My date got the black bean cakes, barely warm & were flavorless compared to what I'd previously had over the years. I sent the crab cakes back, didn't re-order because my date & I would've been dining separately, and by that time, I was disgusted & ready for our L32 experience to end.A manager came out & inquired of the problem. I explained, so she took the crab cakes off the bill and offered a comp dessert (Mix Berry Rhubarb Crumble) to go.When I got home, I found the comp dessert was uncooked & disassembled in 3 different containers: berry compote, crumble mixture, and melted ice cream.I put myself through college waiting tables at 3 high-end restaurants. Every restaurant trained that it's ALWAYS a waiter's responsibility to pick up the cooked food immediately & deliver it still hot--a big fail. I left ~ an undeserved 17% tip to the very sweet waitress. I will never dine there again. It's really gone downhill over the years, in every way.I do not recommend this restaurant. High prices / low quality & quantity.
Cedita Graves: Great ambience and service - however the food was just meh and served too quickly, as if it was prepackaged - fried chicken was not pan fried and had too much crust - the string beans were tastelessFood: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Brooke Rawls: It was great and accommodating for my mil 80th bday. We used to go here about every other week for about 10yrs. Haven't been back since COVID-19 the menu is smaller and the fried chicken had no flavor but they comped it for us.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cornmeal Crusted Catfish, Fried Green Tomatoes …More
Simeon Snow: Probably the best restaurant we've been to all year and we've been to a lot so far. Service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. Food was incredibly diverse and fresh. Lots of different flavor pallets to choose from. The cornbread and biscuits were full, flavorful, and fluffy. My breakfast plate (Southern Delight) was great temperature, flavor, seasoning, and texture. Ambiance was semi formal yet incredibly comfortable. Music volume was just right for giving privacy without impeding on conversation (I don't know why this balance is so hard for places these days). Parm truffle fries were amazing. My spouse loved their avocado toast. Great experience all around.
Kevin Seitz: Haven't been back to Lucky32 in a few years and decided to go for our anniversary. The waiter we started with just disappeared, and then the food came out. The chicken wasn't even cooked all the way through. I showed the second waiter who came by and so he took it back and the manager brought back the new one. She asked, is this one done to your liking and wanted me to cut it and take a bite. I wanted to say, yes this one is cooked. No sorry or apology or anything. She just disappeared like the waiter. The second waiter never came back until I stopped him. Bummed that it changed or maybe the service changed. Fried green zucchini was amazing. The only consistent thing.
John Hall: Food was outstanding.
Jazzy Crawn: My family and I went there a few weeks back and had Frank as our waiter, I do have to say he provided the best service ever!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Jambalaya L32 Style …More

Cathy Martin: I am disappointed since food is always good. On Sunday, I ordered the black bean cakes w side salad and Arnold palmer tea. The black bean cakes and green beans were overcooked. Our lovely waitress did put on order ticket that I did not want the sides it comes with (grits, corn, and sour cream), however the cook staff ignored that. The 6 Oz glass of ice w tea for $3 is ridiculous. Eating out has become overpriced. Sorry to say Lucky 32 has been a staple in Cary but I won't be going anymore.

Gwendela “Gwen” McCorkle: What happened to the hours you used to be open. You are literally only open 5 to 8:30 on most days? How do you make enough to even stay open? Your food is great, so is the wait staff, but your hours are very restrictive. Hope the hours get better in the near future, so everyone can enjoy the restaurant.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Brittany Pleasant: Amazing food, service, and people! And AMAZING rehearsal dinner location!A true hidden gem at the intersection of Ten Ten & Kildaire Farm Rd. Our family has been going to this restaurant for years now! Whenever we're not sure what we want to eat, but we're in the mood for something good, we always choose the Chef's Palette. Their menu always has some seasonal items as well as their most popular favorites. And do yourself a favor for an appetizer and get the Brie Bites! When we were looking for a place to host our wedding rehearsal dinner we contacted about 10 restaurants, including Chef's Palette. We were so pleased with the response times and the knowledge of hosting an event like this one so we booked with them nearly a year out! They kept good communication throughout the year and our rehearsal dinner was perfect! Everyone raved about the food and drinks! We're so glad we were able to share a place that we have loved for years with our out of town guests! We will continue to support this great restaurant, business and owners for years to come. We love everything about Chef's Palette!

Sherry Hill: I love this place. Been going for years. The last time, however, I went, I told them I was there for dinner and was taken to the bar area. My daughter and I were there for a nice dinner so I don't know why we were taken there. I asked to be moved to the dining area and was accommodated, but I'll be honest, it was a litlle offputting, especially to my daughter because she had never been there before. However, once seated, dinner was outstanding. We started with the brie bites. They were absolutely delicious. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. It's definitely a hidden gem.
Scott Crawford: Don't be fooled by the unassuming location of this hidden local gem. We've lived a few miles away for years and saw it in passing all the time, but never thought to check it out. Well, some of our friends recommended it to us, so now I'm passing on that good recommendation (and also quietly kicking myself for not trying it sooner!!).First of all, the entire staff is very welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere is chill (love the chicken paintings and the music was excellent). Second, but really first, the FOOD!!! Holy cats, everything we had was absolutely delicious! The brie bites were out of this world, with 3 different saucing choices, they're like an elevated, light mozzarella stick, but SO much better! My wife had the pan-seared flounder and it literally meted on your mouth! I had the steak fries and the strip was cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy and delicious. Everything was so good, we pushed the envelope and got the key lime pie for dessert. Holy moly, it was a substantial slice and tasted absolutely heavenly. It was a great place to take my boo for an impromptu dinner date (I made the reservation online earlier in the day and it was super easy). We enjoyed the whole experience, our server David was awesome, and we will DEFINITELY be going back!10/10, totally recommend!

Peck & Plume: what do users think?
M B: Rudest hostesses ever! We have had two terrible experiences asking for a table and they just stare at their table book and act like they have no openings when the restaurant is clearly empty. Then they put us at the worst table in the restaurant. As a Cary local, I’m so disappointed & do not ever recommend going to this place.Service: 1/5 …More
Mary M: If this review was solely based off our cocktails and appetizers, it would get 5 stars. Fried green tomatoes and smoked fried cheese were delightful. Loved the Honey Bee cocktail. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. But my Caesar salad was SO disappointing. The croutons tasted like sad grocery store croutons. The dressing was unremarkable. I paid $13 to add shrimp to it, and literally got *3* shrimp. This was not a $24 salad.

I've never had such rich delicious gravy on biscuits!Melody got the two eggs order, while I got chicken and the egg sandwich. Somehow Kate knew to bring me Cholula hot sauce! Took my sandwich to the next level!I had to try the steak and eggs. Very impressive braised short rib with a yellow corn sprinkling over perfectly done crepes. I had to try the cubed potatoes and onions as well! I'm so glad I did.'m hungy!Marti and Kate provided great recommendations and conversation!Chicken and the egg would not have been complete without the Cholula hot sauce.Steak and two eggs was scrumptious — Short rib on a crepe with cut corn sprinkled atop, served with grilled, cubed potatoes and onions!Melody had the two eggs and loved it!I have to come back to the pièce de résistance—Their own biscuits and gravy!!!! I've never had such a rich, luxurious gravy! This restaurant is well worth the trip!

Barbara-Jo Thompson: Big shout out to Randi for accommodating our party of 7 at the last minute. We were waiting at a different nearby restaurant for over 30 minutes. I rang to see if they could get us in straightaway. Randi stated the dining room was full. So I began my search to find somewhere to eat.Moments later Randi rang back to explain they now had a table and they were setting it for our party of seven and they were looking forward to us dining with them.It was a great experience and I very much appreciate the extra effort.
Keith Roberts: Randy… the hostess with the mostest who has fabulous taste in music! Couldn’t have beenmore welcoming to us. Food was beyond amazing… which was recommended to us by our server Kaitlyn. Outdoor seating area was comfortable and a great way to start our morning. Highly recommend!!!Vegetarian options: Fried green tomatoes with poached eggs

Chelsea S.: I used to come here all the time when it was called The Veranda. I do really like the new dining room atmosphere better after the remodel, but they got rid of my favorite brunch dish! I used to come here solely for the Creme Brulee French toast, but now they just have this "French toast brick", and it's just not the same and costs way more. I understand inflation and costs are rising everywhere, but don't fix something that wasn't broken. I don't understand how even using the word "brick" to describe French Toast is supposed to be an improvement. Any additions like bacon or eggs costs extra, which is the same as in the past, but now it's just more reason not to come with the price increases and menu changes. I was pretty disappointed and won't be returning anytime soon.
Larry Haddix: Attended a preset menu and bourbon tasting. The food blew me away. Some of the best and most original dishes in Raleigh.Parking: During the park construction, close parking is a challenge.
Ken Foster: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Steve Liechty: Great place for lunch. It’s quiet and there’s plenty of room for eating inside or outside. Food is great and there are a bunch of great options on the menu.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Parking: Free parking lot across the street.
Julie A.: So underwhelmed by this meal and extremely surprised by the high reviews. The quail was dry and flavorless, egg rolls were chewy and bland, tuna just wasn’t good, the cornbread salad was just meh.Go elsewhere - ambiance can’t save you when the food is this bland.
Shinya A: We went here for a dinner date night since they had a good deal for restaurant week. We ordered the salad, onion soup, pork chop, and seared ahi tuna. The salad was delicious and the soup was very good. The pork chop was cooked and flavored well and it came with a risotto and kale. The ahi tuna was decent but it did have a fishy after taste which I thought shouldn't be there. But still it was good. The ahi tuna came with a white bean like side. Dessert was really unique and tasted great. It was cheese cake made into three walnut size balls that was accompanied by whipped cream, a caramelized banana, strawberries and blue berries. We sat outside and it was a very pleasant and nice dinner.

hail3dshadow: It took a long time to be sat, I’m pretty sure we were sat by a cook. The waiter was nice but barely at the table thr food took forever and the place was dirtyThese elderly people stood upfront for almost 20 minutes and when I told someone they laughed and told me grace was on it ?Even though she wasn’t doing anythingI took a picture of the old people and the dining room at the momentThe old people left after another 10 minutes as grace did not have itThe tables here are dirty and Gross this place is almost empty and the service is not very goodI will not be coming back and I advise yoy don’t come here.

hascumar13 Mac (MacMac): Very disappointed experience this evening. Got taken to our table very quick. Staff was very friendly and accomodating, ready with a smile which is super cool to find nowdays where places are just too short of staff. We ordered potatoe soup and its always a hit for our paty. Well, not this time! It was runny and tasteless! Bunch of cheese which turned out to clump at the bottom of the cup. I am not really sure what type of recipe was that but definitely not the one pre-pandemic!Son ordered grilled salmon and baked potatoe which came out very hard!I ordered 6 oz steak and baked potatoe and had to get a different side dish as they didnt have broccoli. The potatoe was crispy and salty on the outside but very soft, almost runny, in the inside!! We were both thinking how can anybody mess up a baked potatoe like this?Food was not really good and definitely a miss! Not coming back any time soon.
Jose Verdin: Orrible la comida
MR T: So they just served my sister's son molded broccoli. The manager came up and said it's just the 1st stages of mold forming.Hell no!I have not been to an O Charlie's in almost 7 years. There was a reason.Scott the manager on duty tried to rebound but the damage was done. He did comp the food items. The atmosphere, turn the A/c down now need for it to be 32 degrees. The tables need to be revarnished. They are sticky no mater what. The Bar tinder was good tho. Call me 😁.But seriously, close down, rebuild, monitor your food prep!

Moe L: Came in on Sunday a little before 5 received great service to start from Betsy and my server Kenneth. I ordered the steak and salmon with the smothered mushroom gravy on my mashed potatoes and a side of broccoli. Everything great. I honestly had low expectations and was presently surprised. My steak was flavorful, did not need any steak sauce and the gravy was delicious. I'm very happy with my visit first time dining and will be returning.
John Wells: The girlfriend and I went in around 12:30pm on a Saturday. While there wasn't many customers at all when we arrived there was the standard few to go bags lined up and a handful of tables started to be sat as we were finishing our meals.Atmosphere A:Everything looked very clean, and the overall atmosphere receives an A from me.Service A+:Martty was our server and he was great! Made small talk with us, through some jokes to the girlfriend and I, was prompt on all of our refills, and even gave us a nice dessert for free.Service gets an A+ from me, good job Martty!Appetizer B+:Spinach artichoke dip while it was good taste is obviously subjective (objective? I always confuse the two) but it came out quick , was a nice temperature, and the chips were mainly all cooked evenly (some seemed slightly undercooked but that happens). B+ here.Main Meal B+:Steak and chicken finger combo (see image):The food was HOT! likely due to the lack of customers at the time, but the food came out fast , hot, and was relatively pretty good. The steak had enough seasoning, was cooked to medium as I requested, and the breading of the chicken fingers was great. The only downside if I had to be picky was this isn't a sirloin you'd get at let's say a Roadhouse, but for what I received it was a good value for $20. B+ here.Sides B:Loaded baked potato soup (A)French Fries: C+The baked potato soup came out very quickly (within minutes) , was hot, cheesy, bacon and potatoes were great (was one of the reasons I didn't finish my meal) great little soup. The French Fries which you can't mess up too badly and were still "fine" was the only "let down" of the meal. Uneven seasoning, not very crisp, and the overall fry to fry experience changed drastically. I'm not that picky and still ate some and kept the rest to air fry back at my house.Overall pretty solid experience here, I am curious to see if things change if they are busy the next time I stop in.
Kristy Potter: Food was not as pictured. Should at least come close, but didn’t. 3 of the 5 in our party said food was very bland.
Linda Wells: I was very impressed with the young man that waited on me he had excellent customer service skills and was very pleasant Ethan needs to be rewarded for his good work the location was O'Charley's in Cary

Waitress explained they do that when they don't want to work... in front of me. I gladly waited but the two sat there and talked about how all the waitresses were stealing tables. Not off to a good start so u walked out. Went to outback for fantastic service. Get em trained
