Goldfish Swim School - Cary: what do users think?
Monica Kolbek: I started bringing my 3 boys to Goldfish about 2 months ago and all three have grown so much in their confidence in and around the water. My 6 yr old who was already able to swim has improved his technique considerably. My 4 yr old who was very hesitant and nervous in the water now swims on his own very well. My 2 yr old took awhile to get used to the instructors(he’s very shy) but they have always been very patient and encouraging and he now looks forward to class and is able to go under water and jump in the deep end of the pool with someone to catch him. Goldfish has been amazing in helping my kids learn to swim. Knowing how to swim is an essential life skill and Goldfish does an awesome job! The teacher are all so kind and patient definitely recommend!!
Rachel Perry: We absolutely LOVE Goldfish Swim School. We have 2 girls who historically have been very apprehensive doing anything when it came to swimming. After just one lesson at Goldfish, they became more comfortable and look forward to their weekly lessons. Fantastic staff and program to help these littles get swimming!
Joshua & Sadie Klein: Great teachers. My kid learned what we needed then to.The payment policy is questionable. The student graduates from a class level upon demonstration of the required skills. When completing a class there's no option to opt out immediately from joining the next level without payment for 30 days of service where not used or needed.
Patricia “Mom of triplets”: Awesome place for little kids. My kids enjoy swimming lessons. Instructors are the best.
Isla Ruprai: Friendly staff!
Colin mcBride: I love this place the swim coach’s really motivated my kids
Holly Karakos: We have been so happy with our experience at Goldfish! Last summer they helped our 4 year-old move from very afraid of getting water on her face to being a little fish in the pool. We were amazed at the progress! This year in a month they have taken our 2.5 year old from screaming through the full 30-minute session to happily enjoying himself and starting to learn some skills. The professionalism of the whole team is top-notch. There are always extra hands available to help when a kid is struggling, and we almost always have in-class ratios that are better than we're promised. A definite 5-star experience!
Paula Bogar Sylvestre: Great infrastructure- pools super warm, clean restrooms. On top of that, super friendly staff. My toddler loves!
M Bee: Third try with swim lessons and now my oldest has reached pro 2! Definitely feel better about being around water. I definitely recommend the packages. It's nice for school breaks to get extra lessons or for a motivated child to have back to back lessons. Make up policy is good unless you get sick again on your make up day.
Troy Kranz: Consistently impressed by this swim school. We love the smaller classes. We have had both of our kids enrolled since they were little and they have both grown tremendously since starting the classes.
Koteshwarulu Kethavat: Not at all good, it is 30 mints class.. easily 10 mints are wasted, & on top of that kids spend like 10 -15 minutes of learning. In our case they cancelled my kids class without informing us & charged us.. when we asked about how did they cancel without our consent, they do not have any answer. Some teachers are good but management is not that good.
Cristina Ramírez Meier: The instructors are the best by making it fun for the kids while teaching them!
Nagaraj Sollapur: Good option for kids to learn swimming. They have levels for everyone.
mandesa smith: The swimming instructor is lovely! My child loves swim class! She is progressing nicely! The facilities are clean.
BakerDad &Grace: Goldfish Swim School has been a great experience for our family. The teachers and staff are super friendly and were very welcoming!
Joseph Taylor: 30 minute lesson time periodI have just removed my two little ones after two months when the 30 minute "slot" we pay for is actually only 7.5 minutes of actual lessons and 22.5 minutes of just sitting on the side of the pool watching others take their lessons. Each swim lane and instructor can have up to 4 students so the 30 minute slot paid for is actually shared by all 4 students hence in actuality the minimal 7.5 minutes of swim lessons provided each child. I wanted swim lessons not sit in the water lessons. Your best to go elsewhere with one on one instruction.
Duha Diana: Great swim school. I enrolled my kid to 8 classes at 160 so $20 a class . the ratio is 3 to 1 and its very affordable compare to lifetime $50 for 30 minute sessiononce enrolled they give u a goodie bag you pick either a shirt or a swim diaper . The only con is the showers are not private so I have to shower my son when we are homeMy son has Julia Ibrahim as an instructor I defiantly recommend her class she is very nice with children and my toddler loves her.
Lisa McCorkle: We have a great time at the weekly swim lessons at Gold Fish with our baby daughter. Our daughter loves swimming, so being able to take her to a fun and educational swim lesson every week is a real treat for her. We also have a lot of fun since a parent goes into the pool with their baby for the lesson. We enjoy seeing her excitement as she learns new swimming and floating skills. It is also a fun environment to meet other parents with babies and for the babies to interact with each other. The teachers are fantastic. They love being around the babies and have great ideas for water activities that are appropriate for the age group. They always greet our daughter by name, and give her high fives and ribbons for her accomplishments. Jessica is our favorite teacher. The facility is really nice with an indoor heated pool and plenty of changing areas, including a changing area specifically for babies stocked with diapering supplies. We love that there are lessons scheduled for multiple days and times throughout the week to choose from. The flexibility and availability of class times throughout the week and on weekday evenings is what ultimately made the decision for us to choose Goldfish over other schools. As working parents, we appreciate the ability to take our daughter to lessons on a weekend afternoon or weekday evening. I am constantly recommending Goldfish Swim School to other parents. As soon as we tried one lesson, we were hooked.
Rebecca Miller: We had the BEST experience at Goldfish. My son came to his first lesson not know how to swim at all. He was scared, but the instructors instantly made him feel at ease. Within a matter of weeks he was swimming! And every week after, he became a stronger swimmer. We were so sad to leave (moved out of state), but so thankful we found Goldfish. It is the best!
LaQuetta Perry: I love gold fish swim school my kids love it They look for it every week to going swimming class my kids just started the first week of June last month and my daughter just got promoted three weeks ago to Junior 2 and my son he is start to have confidence in himself and put his face in the water before he was scared to get in the water but now he’s getting confidence and himself so I will recommend the school to everyone they specialize with children all ages
Ramesh Karanam: Great facility and helpful staff and teachers. Place is kept always clean.

Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Cary: what do users think?
Aparna Ghorpade: In just 2 years my kids learned and progressed many levels
McKenna V: I am very pleased with the progress my child has made at this school. We have been going to Aqua Tots for a few years and my child loves it. I got to see him practice his breaststroke independently at the pool this week. It was great to see all his hard work being used! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Very pleased with our lessons.
Antony Vijay M: Only 2 or 3 coaches are good and rest of them are beginners. Classes always get cancelled without any notification even after requesting them to notify us earlier. Coaches keep on rotating every week giving different feedback everytime and making difficult to move to next level. The worst part is group session for 4 kids is 40 mins and this session kid get only max of 5-6 mins of time with the coach. Rest of the time they will be just sitting around.
Katrina Koehler: Staff was so welcoming, made my nervous 4 year old feel right at home! Coach is all about “water-safety” (which I love!) but somehow makes it fun (which my boy loves!!)
Sandy Chen: My 9 years old child had been stayed at the same level without being upgraded higher level for a year. Every time they will give you some reason to refuse to upgrade. Even if the child done well, they still teach you like a beginner because of the change of coach. The new coach did not check the student's learning history before teaching that really can’t help improve the child's level.Avoid This Place!
Mihir Godbole: Great coaches. However, this location has too many frequent changes in assigned coaches - whenever I take this up with front desk, the only response received was we are hiring new coaches. The location is definitely not able to retain their coaches. It would have been more helpful if they’d address the concern instead of just repeating the same thing over and over.
Herin Dharod: Absolute waste of money.Constantly rotating coaches - they have no idea about how the student is progressing. They scam us by updating some stars in a age old website falsifying learning levels just for record keeping.I lost almost 25 sessions because of cancelling due to unavailable coach or false claims of cancellation due to “accident at pool” (same story evry friday evening 7:30pm class)I reached out to corporate office and even the founders of aqua tots (at arizona corp offc), but no one bothers to responds. These people are running a legalized scam.search for a better & regular coach in nearby swimming institutions - atleast a competent coach would know how your kid is progressing and fill the gap with proper assessment & a counter effective plan.
Amit B: These people are running a big scam. Its a 30min class - 2/3min waste in making student start - 4 student in batch - 7min/studentMy kid attended a year but did not progress on any learning..Absolute 0 progress tracking. No advancement plan or no effort to overcome challenge.Every session has the coach changes and high school untrained kids are recruited as coaches.Absolute waste of money.Stay away from this scam.
Ashutosh Singh: Avoid this place at all cost. They have got enrolled too many kids but their infrastructure doesn’t support this. My biggest complain is their billing system. I had enrolled my kid for twice a week as they said that is more beneficial than once a week. But after seeing no progress I requested them to change frequency from twice a week to once a week. And I have them a notice in March well in advance for April. They charged me for April for both twice a week $218 and once a week $114. Upon asking why they charged $218 they agreed on text that it was their error but they will not refund. They can only give account credit which can be used later. I am moving to a town where they don’t have facility in 30 mins driving radius. But still they will not refund even though it is their error. They are total scam. Stay away from them.
Shana Bane: You won't get your money back it's a scam listen to the 1 star reviews
Maya: I just lost $200 and didn't even take any classes yet. I was sick and had to reschedule, asked if we can reschedule the classes in may thinking that I can use the $200 I gave them for other classes another month. Turns out They don't refund because "you can make these classes up at other times" and that's not how their buisness works". Ridiculous and listen to the other 1 star reviews. They just scammed me out of my hard earned money.
Marc & Bella: Never the same coach and classes cancelled without warning and without suitable replacement. Kids went here several months and learned nothing nor did they advance. When we brought up the fact that the kids weren’t learning due to having different coaches telling them different things the staff just gaslighted us by saying it wasn’t true only to turn around months later to tell us the kids’ classes were permanently cancelled. They sure as heck collected money during those months though. They also never reimbursed us for the makeup classes. They tell customers different things. Some customers can cash in their makeup classes and others can’t. Not fair across the board with their policies. Bathrooms never have toilet paper.
Arjun S: This swim school is just good for canceling lessons frequently. Kids are losing continuity with this.Rescheduling is another pain. They either won’t pick up the call or left with no options online to do the same.
Tejas Chonkar: @Aqua-Tots Swim Schools CaryI'm not sure how to PM using google reviews. Please call my cellphone on your file with last name Chonkar.---- Original Post ----A. They sold Christmas in July for a month free for an advance payment for 5 months... nice way to lure folks... then they were closed for 2 consecutive weeksAlso been closed on several other occasions and they give class credit for missed lessons like peanuts because to reclaim the credit you need to be actively enrolled. They never reach out proactively to parents who have several credits, in my case I have over 14 or so credits with no use as they never have slots for make up sessions and when you challenge them. They make comments and profile parents in their app based on single interaction basically for asking how they are going to make up for missed sessions when they do not have slots for make ups. Some coaches are good, some not so, some front desk personnel don't know don't care how to keep their customers happy.Avoid this place period.
Kiran Kumar: Worst. Please do not join. Water is dirty. Its not good in USA. Europe it is fine. Think before you join. They wont give you the money back. You will loose money
Lipsa Nayak: Very nice teachers and amazing place to learn swimming
Vivek Subramanian: Coaches keep rotating and they don’t properly communicate each other about your child’s progress. They don’t even look what is your child’s previous score before class starts. Even though your child dose well, they try to keep them at same level, as long as possible which really demotivate your child. For instant if your child fulfilled all requirements, ideally they should move to next level, instead next coach comes and they bring up with new points and make sure they stay in same level. It’s coaches responsibility to ensure child gets enough attention and properly coach missing skills and ensure kids move to higher level. Just giving different opinions in each time with out looking at previous data and internal communication issues between coaches will impact your child's confidence. I believe management will take care of these concerns seriously.
Dipika Mokhasania: Enthusiastic Teachers, staff and great service.
JacQuetta F: I would not recommend this place. They cancel lessons a lot. They don't refund because "you can make these classes up at other times". It's one thing to have a few cancellations but my daughter had them back to back to back. The front desk told me that the staff are college kids with activities and cannot always make it. Wow!!! I pay for a service. They need to make it or have a substitute. Don't go here.
Manish Gaikwad: They keep cancelling classes at the drop of hat. I have lost count of make up lessons . Worst there is no availability to schedule them as well.the instructors keep changing and there are 4to 5 kids in a 30 min window.. effectively your child barely gets 5min attention and rest of the time they spent idling. They don’t allow to even use them towards routine classes so that you don’t pay the monthly feesNot recommended
zachary Mendiola: Staff and coaches are kind. They are very helpful in scheduling makeup classes. My kids learned how to become confident swimmers through Aquatots Cary.

Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Holly Springs: what do users think?
abhi gautam: Scam..the last store manager sarah was the worst very irresponsive and uncooperative. New manager Melody is good and very polite but unfortunately she inherited a.very poorly managed school. Our kids were stuck in same level..for a year mainly because of teaching inconsistency. They change instructor like hourly weather. Front desks folks and junior coaches like Adam, Nick are very good. Sr coaches, deck supervisors with red shirts (won't put names) and leads are very rude and do not treat young kids well. After much deliberation our kids graduated to new level and then we received a call saying our relationship is not working and recieced a refund.
Minette H: My little girl enjoyed her first day of swim class.Update: It's been a couple of swim classes and it's a joy to see my Leapfrog excited to swim with other kids. Coaches emphasize technique and water safety, they're invested in every swimmer and genuinely likes children. Friendly staff too. Great to work with in person and on the phone with inquiries and requests.
Greg Hutchinson: This place is a scam. Their curriculum doesn't promote improvement. 30 minute classes, and my child MIGHT have swam for 5 actual minutes/class. When I approached them about it, all I got was excuses. Don't waste your money.Side note: We moved from out of state where we went to another swim school. After a year at Aqua Tots, my child is actually a worse swimmer now. We told the management at Aqua Tots that she was more advanced than what they were teaching, and they didn't listen. They force you into a class and keep you there with no real opportunity for advancement. And no real testing of skills. An absolute joke. But don't worry, they scammed us out of another month of fees once we pulled our child out.
Joshua Partin: My son loves the weekly classes and any opportunity to swim. It's always clean, well-staffed, and family-friendly. The instructors are not the same from week to week but they are always professional and caring.
Shannon Pragosa: I LOVE the program. My daughter was in Level 1 and is now in Level 2. The instructors are great. For whatever reason the place is not able to keep instructors. Our classes have been canceled A LOT since January. Sometimes it is from the pool heater going out or other technical issues. Often times it has been because they simply do not have someone to teach the class. You are given a make-up class, but often the times are after 4:30pm and for a 1 year old that just isn’t a good fit. Or they are on Saturdays when it is so loud in the pool you can’t hear the instructor.I really love the program! But I am seriously considering switching locations to see if I can get a consistent instructor and class time.
Vijay Kanth Perikala: Good place to learn swimming!! My kid is really progressing here!! Staff is super friendly 😃
Bota N: My son attended AT in Cary previously, and last 4 months we have been coming to AT of HS and love it here. Coaches are caring, friendly and great with kids. I haven't noticed a high turnover rate of coaches at this facility. Staff is always helpful 👍🏼 Facility is a lot cleaner than in Cary.
Rob: We’ve had two awesome experiences and plan to have many more. My 6 month old and myself were in Nicks class & he is a GREAT instructor, he explains the drills and the reasons behind them. Can’t wait to go back!
Josh Walker: Parking is a nightmare on the weekends.
Shiva E: My feedback - swim time of 25 mins is too short and there are no 2 day program slots available. Instructors doesn't focus on specific technic which the child need to improve instead they are very generic. While in gold fish gives a 30 mins full class and give a 1 day free family visit to the pool which helps the child to improve. I recommend longer sessions to make program effective.
Pancham Dev Burman: For thirty minute session- they take kids inside 5 min late- they take out kids 5 min before end of session. each batch will have atleast 4 kids- so your kid end getting only 5 minutes of training for a charge of 30 min session.Coaches here are not to blame- the management- there is no gap between two sessions- coach talk to parents after session and take another batch after that-they loose atleast 10 min between two batches and we parents pay for that.Basically you are paying for 30 min but get only 5 min.My kid went here over a year and he still cant swim- well if he is trained only 5 min a day- how can I expect him to learn fast.Go somewhere else, stay away from Aqua tots
Rania Al-Twarah: The worst place every, Do Not go there!
Rohit Shah: Nice place for kids to learn swimming.
Mirer03: Website isn't letting me go in and register. Going elsewhere.
E reinhart: The location looks nice but the mommy and me classes and pool are such let downs. the waiting/ viewing area is great, the changing area is great. But the pool itself had many issues for us. 1) this pool is not like the usual learning pools Its 4ft deep throughout. There is no 3 ft or 3 1/2 sections. As a petite mom trying to hold her toddler in a mommy and me class is not comfortable at all. The water is up to my neck and I have hold my baby up high the entire time to keep her face above the water. Even the steps leading into the pool are steep and deep ( not typical for a learning pool). Our instructor seemed nice but she was so quiet I could barely hear her and my toddler didn’t hear her at all. We expected better and we’re very let down.
Brian Lischin: Great staff and a great experience, I take my grandson for weekly lessons and I highly recommend every child takes swimming lessons and learns water safety
Tsering Yangzom: So easy to schedule make up class. The staffs are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. My kids absolutely this Aqua-Tots.
Food Fun & Facts with Varsha, English: My son doesn’t seem to learn anything here. Overall bad experience
Donna Hines: From a former children's swim instructor,, I loved the class size and the attention the instructors gave the students, from infants to youth. Great program.
John Blum: I’ve been taking my (almost!) two year old daughter to weekly swim class here for a month and we so enjoy the lessons. She’s become so much more confident in the water and I’ve learned lots of great exercises to help her continue to learn water safety. Celeste is such a friendly and helpful instructor and the staff at the front desk are wonderful, too!
Barry Caulder: Very nice staff and the instructors take their time in teaching how to swim, my son was scared of swimming but now he is getting use to having his head under water, the instructors let them learn at their own pace, they also have adult students which my son is in sense he is 12 year's old, and the parents can watch their children learn from the lobby where there is a glass wall separating the 4 ft. deep pool from the lobby, it is a little pricey but well worth it, I highly recommend this place.

Goldfish Swim School - Wake Forest: what do users think?
Derrick Newton: Goldfish is a very good place for children who are trying to learn how to swim and build up some confidence in the water.
Corie Bangle: I love how organized the entire process is at Goldfish swim school. From registration, to class start/end. The teachers are great and my kids have had the best experience here. I feel like my kids are progressing very fast because of the great teachers. We will continue to be a goldfish family and recommend it to any family who want their kids to learn to swim.
Rachel Murphy: My daughter has been taking swim lessons for almost 2 years here and she loves it and has learned so much! She can swim better than I've ever been able to.
karen smith: My daughter has been going here for quite some time and she and I love it. Her instructor, Talia, is an excellent teacher and her and my daughter get along very well!! She is patient with my daughter and knows exactly how to handle her. Very pleased with this business and their staff!! 😁
WrightBusiness: Amazing service! Leila was great throughout the whole time and made my kid feel very comfortable, her outstanding personality andperformance made it easy on me and my child and I absolutely recommend it! We always look forward to the next class knowing we have such a great teacher waiting.
Cora Oliver: Really enjoy the atmosphere my children enjoy the instructors and our family swim time.
Stephanie Avent: The patience of the instructors is phenomenal
Jade Dudley: My 2-year-old daughter started swim lessons about a year ago and she loves it at Goldfish! When first starting out, she used to cry, but almost a year later I have seen so much improvement in her swimming and enjoyment. Now she cries when she has to get out of the water! Chelsea and Jad, thank you for having so much patience and helping her learn an important life skill.
Kristin Sykes: Hannah has been amazing with my son! We have been with three different swim teachers and she is the first person to get him to put his face in water! Thank you for your patience Hannah and tough love when needed. Highly recommend.
Frankie Marie Pucci: My son loves gold fish and we do too! Everyone is so nice and helpful. The facility is so clean also.
drjbattle: We have been going to goldfish for years and our Austin is now a fish. He is our waterboy. We love this school.
Sheryl Ayeni: The Wake Forest Goldfish is like a family. I had concerns about the time my daughter got in the water during the group lessons, so I changed her to privates lessons. She went from being afraid to put her face in the water to doing the backstroke….beginner level but she is SWIMMING!!!!
Monica Hempenius: We’re new members of Goldfish Swim and my 5 month old loves it! Our instructor is super friendly, as well as all of the other staff that I’ve encountered. The facility is kept clean, and I love that the pool is heated!
Christine Sherwood: They are extremely accommodating and their swim instructors make it a very positive experience for our children!
Portia Phillips: I have had a great experience at Goldfish. The instructors are friendly and my children have come a long way.
Nimz J: Friendly & helpful staff & flexible timing for the classes. Comfortable environment for the kids.
Christine Stein: We have been at goldfish for four years with two kids and love it! We've experienced all of the classes from the baby class to swim force (the swim team). Both my kids look forward to swimming every week and they love their teachers. It's very well run and the app makes it easy to put in planned absences and schedule makeups. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
Luis Carlos Gutierrez: I love this place. My son has been attending for 1year and half and now he feel SO SO comfortable in the swimming pool
Stefanie Jeffreys: My son has been apart of this program for 3 years and even has his birthday party here! The staff is so friendly and nice. Any changes are communicated effectively. My son has learned so much and I’m beyond grateful to the team of men and women who teach him every week.
Dragan Jagnjic: We have been bringing our son to Goldfish Swim School Wake Forest for almost two years now. At 1st we felt that the School was just running the program ad instructors were not fully involved in kids development. We were to switch to a different school and Goldfish was super easy to cancel our contract. The things didn't work out with the other place and we gave Goldfish the 2nd chance. And we were nicely surprised that our initial feeling was so wrong. It was easy to re-sign up and pick the date/time that works for you. Our questions, either in person, phone or email were always answered in a timely manner. Our son has progressed quickly thru different levels (pro 2). The instruction is very good and testers ensure that a swimmer performs the necessary skills to advance. Makes are easy to rebook, and easy to cancel a class if needed. Our son looks forward to the weekly and sometimes twice a week session. He has improved a lot at Goldfish.
Lindsey Powell: Our girls have been going for 2 years now. They now swim better than I do and it gives me peace of mind in the summer months at the pool. The girls love it. I appreciate how flexible they are. You can always make up lessons even when you’re giving them short notice that you’ll be absent. It’s a pretty well-oiled machine and we’ve enjoyed all of their instructors!
