Mark Brennan: My son played 2 seasons of flag football, and that was enough to know i9 is not the right league. The most problematic issue we had was the unfair teams, which do nothing to foster sportsmanship or develop confidence in young athletes.Members are allowed to pick their teams, so you'll have entire teams that know each other, have been playing together under the same coaches for years, and are all the same age, and they're pitted up against teams of varying age players who don't know each other, or their coaches. Not only does it make the competition extremely lopsided, it presents an injury risk because you have a team of older players playing against mixed ages, including youngest ages.When I brought this up to the administrators, they basically laughed it off and said it's more fun for the teams that know each other and win, the way they have it set up. But my son broke his foot that day, and one of the girls got a concussion from an overagressive older boy on a team that already had the game in the bag, so it isn't that they think I'm wrong, it's that they just don't care. Sportsmanship is important to them, but only on the losing and disadvantaged teams. Stacked teams must be paying the bills for i9 🤷♂️

Maxim Semyonov: Staff not trained on ADA guidelines and rules for service animals. Beware, and be prepared to provide documentation and to prove your disability. I was humiliated, disrespected, and treated without dignity by multiple staff in person and later over the phone. Moreover, they were willing to traumatize our sibling who was on the field. Just a bunch of fat cats gobbling up the 501c3 salaries. God have mercy on them.

ted buckner: Softball for adults with developmental disabilities. This is so much fun. Everyone plays, even if they are confined to a wheelchair and need help hitting the ball. The announcers are so energetic, fun music, everyone scores a home run and the game ends in a tie.
