REI Bike Shop: what do users think?
AdventureAttorney: We needed a bike tire fixed, and though it took time because the anniversary sale was busy, it was only $7 for a new tube and tape to fix the tire! Great deal!!!! And we gotta do some anniversary shopping on top of it all!
Gabriel Margraf: Good products and services, although very expensive.
Natalie Espino: Danny was super nice and helpful and looked at my bike that I’m going to use for college. He did a thorough check and I didn’t have to pay anything but he filled my tires and said everything’s good to go. He also gave me helpful advice about the gears and filling the tires.
David Ress: My rear hub went into free spin mode in the middle of a ride. I thought I might have to replace the whole wheel or otherwise have an expensive hub replacement procedure, but I took it up there to REI and am so glad I did. Jim was working and stopped what he was doing to immediately help me. He pulled the cassette off and said "I think we can service this". Within minutes he had freed a stuck tooth from the freehub, slapped it back together and everything worked. When I asked what I owed he said nothing. I practically begged him to let me pay because he had just saved me a lot of money and a lot of frustration if I had gone somewhere else. Way to go Jim and way to go REI.
I Rauf: Awesome customer service.
Xiaoqi Tang: I’m so glad I choose here for my bike. People here are super nice and helpful.
David Crouse: EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE in the bike shop! As a walk in on a busy Fri afternoon they removed and installed a new rear tire on our 1982 road bike paying attention to detail and doing the job in a timely and professional manner for a more than reasonable price!
Jerry Viviano: On a Saturday evening when every other bike shop was closed, I found REI open. I called them to see if they would have the obscure parts I would need to rebuild the front axle on my bike. I spoke to their bike technician, Joe. He said to come on down with the original parts and he would see if he could match them closely enough. I did, and he did find parts close enough to use on the job. These were cones and bearing balls of a particular diameter. He spent probably 20 minutes of his time finding just the right parts for me. And the total charge was only $7. I was quite pleased with the personalized service I was offered, the time he spent on my situation, and the very low price. Also, Joe was very pleasant to speak with.

The Cycle Surgeon: what do users think?
David Ridley: Only mechanic/bike shop I trust to work on my bikes in the triangle. Most of the triangle knows this as well which causes wait times to be outrageous, but a good thing is worth waiting for. I'd pay a monthly membership to have a reserved time slot/day each month for maintenance repairs if needed!
D C: Above and Beyond are the best ways to describe the outstanding service I received at the Cycle Surgeon's shop. In addition to being very responsive, knowledgeable and friendly, Matt did a fantastic job on two of my bikes. Although I like to wrench on my own bikes, this was my first full suspension and I thought it would be good to have a mechanic install a new fork and dropper post. While he was doing the work he discovered a few items that had been neglected by the shop who previously built my new bike. These items affect both safety and the longevity of the bike (and me!). I am really grateful for his outstanding work and that he had my back. No question he is a bike surgeon and an elite one at that.
Martin White: Great surgeon.
Zackary Sipper: Matt and Deb are great. Very responsive to email and answered all my questions. Matt does great work! They realized they charged me for something that ended up not being done and refunded me and sent an email explaining what the refund was for. I wouldn't have known the difference if they hadn't caught it themselves. Very honest and caring folks.
Gary Desselle: Great shop, honest and knowledgeable owner.
Matt Kenney: Matt is an absolute bike mechanic magician. Best in town!
Ray Bowles: Privately owned and operated by the owner/tech. Always friendly and helpful.
Mike Stellpflug: Wow, they really know their stuff, and are decent human beings. Depending on what you need, probably worth the wait.
Jackie Miller: Phenomenal attention to detail, never misses anything. Matt thinks ahead and helps take care of upgrades before they have to happen.I highly recommend Matt for both his professionalism and his knowledge.
Brandon Barmore: Best cycle shop in the triangle.
Aaron Benson: I love this shop. Matt and his wife and family are lovely. They helped me build a custom yeti a few years ago and I’ve enjoyed the ownership experience for the last few years. I have Matt service my bike exclusively.
Jason Price: Thanks for taking care of your customers and enjoy the new PC!
jimmy hillhouse: Couldn't get rid of me quick enough. Not interested in anything I had to say. Pointed me to the business across the street.
Kevin Hassell: Matt was super helpful. He was able to fix my creaking and got my bike back on the road quickly for a fair price. He even spent 20 minutes discussing chain lubes. He's willing to go the extra mile to make sure his customers are satisfied.
Ben Holladay: Matt is the best true bike mechanic in the area. Did an amazing job on my custom need bike build. Has a great selection of hard to find items. Will be back for future builds and needs.
Daniel Lamb: Matt is awesome! Very experienced and very consistent. Every time I leave my bike feels fantastic. There is literally nothing bad I can say. He excels at servicing and bike fitment. He is also a bike dealer and can order most parts if they don't carry them in stock.
Eric Hontz: Matt did a fantastic job overhauling my Chris King hub. He was easy to communicate with over email to schedule the drop off and pickup.
Vadim Kuhay: As a small business ourselves we value other small businesses. But being so we also judge more strictly - the business must make our community a better place, no two ways about that.Matt, the owner, certainly is that gem of community that makes it better! With all the greenways around bicycle shops prop up like mushrooms, and we've certainly been to all - just to know that you only need one that cares and knows his stuff and customers.Next time you need a bike or any bike service - check Matt out first - I bet he won't disappoint!Remember, as a small business he can get busy, so the best thing to do is to come the first time, say "Hi", and then just text him. It's that personal, professional and cool 😎👍.While you are at it, making friends, please say "Hi" to Porter for us, the dog and "Employee of the month" 😜I also think that Matt doesn't charge enough. We care much more about him sticking around forever than a dollar saved here and there. Biking is a way of life for us.We recommend a tip jar, for Porter 😜
Derrick Evans: I have been taking our bikes to Matt at Cycle Surgeon for years. It's great to know that he is the one working on your bike because you know that he knows what he is doing. His prices are always fair, and he's upfront about time when you make your appointment. Today, he replaced a tube on my son's bike, but he always gave us some great advice on what to look for when we purchase his next bike because he has grown. (He also has a super cool dog in the store.)
ted buckner: Matt has earned a reputation as the go-to person for bike repair and maintenance. He is present at all of the main cycling events in the area. Since everyone goes here for the best bike service, the work is all queued up, so do not expect immediate service.
Jack Cutler: Great. I was visiting from NY state and needed a tire fixed. The Cycle Surgeon fixed it the same day. He was very friendly and gave me advice where to ride in the area. If I lived in Cary NC, he would be my bicycle mechanic!

Carolina Auto Spa: what do users think?
Shashank Bharadwaj Prabhala: Awesome place to get the car wash serviceThey even walk up to your car after wash to dry it if any water drops are left.Really appreciate the service.I took an unlimited wash plan, which was just $30 a month
smithchild80: Among the best car wash businesses. I wish there was one where I currently reside.
Kyle Dellinger: Bought a monthly plan at a discounted rate. So far, so good!
Berlinda Daniel: Great service, user friendly system, all vacuums work and we’re in great condition. They had towels for you to dry off your car, clean the interior and clean your windows. They provide cleaning products at each vacuum station for you to use. They also have a tool you can use to blow out debris from hard to reach areas. I now have a membership and will be visiting often. Thanks guys.Services:Polishing,Vacuuming,Auto interior vacuuming,Car waxing
David G: Definitely the best car wash around I have tried them all. This place is brand new, with the best equipment their car wash tunnel beats all the others in the areaCompressed air right next to the vacuums to blow out any debris under the seat and cracks and crevices to be vacuumed away, they provide microfiber towels, and even a area to pressure wash mats, along with interior detail spray, Windex and a deodorizer, the vacuums have strong suction The staff is very helpful. If you like taking your car through tunnel washes, this is the best one to go to. I’m very picky and always hand wash my car using a foam cannon and my own chemicals but in a pinch I was very impressed with this place.
Sandy Boczkowski: Friendly staff, brand new stations fully stocked with towels, cleaning supplies & high powered vacuum. Glad they are finally open, will be back soon!Services:Vacuuming,Auto interior vacuuming
Tricia Sauls: This place has air hoses to help clean out all the super small crevices in your car, a mat washing station and interior, glass and odor removing sprays, microfiber towels and vacuum cleaners. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Leslie Ramos Escobar: I am so excited to have a car wash near me. The facilitiy is brand new and they have air compressors available to get the knitty gritty areas.
Dominikii Coleman: Great car wash facility!! Everything is brand new and my car looked amazing after it went through the automatic car wash. I initially had some tree sap on my windshield and was very concerned about the wash removing it. The manager Tyler was very nice and even offered to help remove the sap if the car wash didn’t. Fortunately the car was was able to remove it and I’m very satisfied!! The customer service was great and I look forward to this being my main car wash!!
Sergio Sam: So it has opened about couple of weeks ago.Facilities are really nice and the staff was superbIt is a drive trough car Wash with access to free vacuuming and cleaningIf need to compare with its main chain competitor I think they need to look into adding the spraying before the wash for the windshield, sides and back of the carAs i left the wash and parked at the vacuuming station they even helped me dry the car which I truly appreciatedI’ll give it a 4 stars because of how friendly and customer oriented the staff was and give it another try soon to see if get convinced to switch
Lothian Mcadam: Here's hoping Rocket Wash offers $5 car washes like its excellent predecessor, Carolina Auto Spa, did for many, many years. The "$5 CAR WASH" sign is gone, which doesn't bode well. plaintive sigh
Jacobi Smith: Not open. Do not list your business before you’re open. Just wasted 30 minutes driving over here.
emerson sauls: This looks like it will be a very good car wash!
Bianca Rodriguez: It wasn’t even ready yet. I’m not sure if they were building it or tearing it down.

Bunkey's Car Wash: what do users think?
Trina Lewis: The best, my car look brand new
Jonathan Smith: Great experience today. Car looks great. Crew took great care cleaning the car.
Taseen Jain: Beware..Waste of time and money.
Vivi D: Nope. Cup holders, etc not even wiped down. I don't understand why they would just leave such obvious spot dirty
Kellz G: Just not like it use to be.
Marcus Jenkins: Went today 6.3.2023 didn't read reviews but wish I would have before taking my vehicle. Very disappointed with my service. Visited Kildaire location.
Anthony George: Total waste of money and time. Car still dirty inside and out after car wash. Very poor job.
Linda Gunter: Always friendly and they do a great job cleaning cars. Benny has been there for years as manager and keeps things moving.
James Ehmann: They Clean the car very well. Friendly staff.
Russ Spencer: Paid 32 dollars for full service but received just exterior wash. Interior was untouched with dust over console, doors, steering wheel, seats and radio. It wasn’t even touched inside. Good exterior wash but if you buy interior service you are just giving them money.Services:Polishing,Auto detailing,Vacuuming,Auto interior vacuuming,Car waxing
Mohamed El Dawy: Not worth the money, they do a terrible job cleaning the car
Judy K.: Super fast and friendly!
Michael Santelia: Bunkers ysed to be great but they’ve gone downhill the past couple years. Last three times they barely wiped the inside of my truck. Didn’t even do the radio touchscreen, all past theee times it’sStill had dust and pollen on it. I do not recommend going here
Julian Johnson: Trash…do not come to this car wash. I have had multiple bad experiences with the car not being cleaned properly. The guys are lazy and are more interested in talking to each other than getting the job done right.Services:Vacuuming,Auto interior vacuuming
Malaysia Wray: Fair price for a basic car wash and includes vacuums. Removed one star because: of the two vacuums accesible to where I parked, only one had good suction. The person working where you have to select a wash was helpful, though, and it got all of the pollen off of my car 🤠
Teddy: Visited this location today and purchased the ‘specialI’ $32 rush job very disappointed 2 people working on your car done in 10 mins look at the tires!! Do better!
Ellen Murphy: Do not come here if you actually want your car clean. I paid over $30 for nothing to be done to my car, and then I still had to go home and clean the interior and exterior myself. Thanks for nothing 👍Services:Vacuuming,Auto interior vacuuming
Heather Swanson: I took my car to Bunkey's to get the interior cleaned because I'm trying to take better care of my things. I bought the Diamond Wash package. They also have gas pumps and offer 15cents/gallon off which you can also combine with your Harris Teeter VIC rewards discount. I left my car and went on some errands and came back an hour and a half later. I saw my car in the parking lot and got excited because it was super shiny. I went in to see if they had my keys inside and a gentleman with an ownerly presence approached me and said they were only able to do the car wash and he couldn't touch the interior because it was too disgusting (my words not his--I think it was really something like the ArmorAll won't be effective without detailing first). My initial reaction was NOOOO because I wanted to be rid of those cheezit crumbs and to be able to see out of my windows. He gave me a refund for the interior stuff and I completely forgot about my keys. I went outside and conferred with my companion about the news I just got. Then I went back in to ask for my keys and asked if they had vacuumed and he said yes, they had vacuumed, dusted as much as they could, and done the windows and I was relieved. I went and looked and it was just what I had wanted it to be, and they had downplayed the work they had done on it. If you have higher standards than me you can schedule detailing with them, but I was just trying to feel like a human again, don't need to be a fancy human. I thought the way he approached me about "not being able to touch the inside" just means he greatly overestimated MY expectations and the fact that he offered a refund means that he does what he feels is right by the customer. Fully satisfied with the service, thanks!Services:Vacuuming,Auto interior vacuuming,Car waxing
Elizabeth Sabatino Jones: Great service! Great price! I even grabbed a gift card for a lucky teacher drawing at our school.
robin Vitale: Fast and efficient 😉
DARNELL Gordon: I ONLY GO BECAUSE OF THE DISTANCE TO MY HOME..HOWEVER I'D RATHE GO OUT OF MY WAY FROM NOW ON. I LEFT COMMENTS, TRIED TO CONTACT THE OWNER, AND CAN NEVER FIND A MANAGER. IT'S OBVIOUS THEY DON'T VALUE ME AS A CUSTOMER SO I'LL TAKE MY VEHICLES SOMEWHERE ELSE.THIS IS THE ONLY CAR WASH WHERE YOU HAVE TO DRY YOUR OWN CAR. YES THE MONTHLY PRICE IS GOOD BUT I'D RATHER PAY MORE FOR GOOD SERVICE AND THIS ISN'T THE PLACE FOR THAT!!! I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR MY CARD NOT TO BE CHARGED SO IF YOU SEE THIS POST PLEASE DON'T CHARGE MY CARD OR FOR ANOTHER MONTHLY FEE.

The Car Wash Lodge: what do users think?
Joy Turner: We used to enjoy this car wash so much that we asked for gift cards at Christmas. We received several gift cards but have never been able to use them. Every time we go, there has been a reason they could not wash our cars. On one day, the Morrisville location “had no water”, even though surrounding businesses had water. Plenty of staff available, but no water. Drove over to the Cary location on the same day and they said they had no staff so they were not washing cars. Seems like they would have sent the Morrisville staff that had no water over to the Cary location that had water but no staff. Some days that I went there, they told me they were too busy to do anything on the interior. If all I needed was an exterior wash, I would get that somewhere else for less money, I drive to The Car Wash Lodge so that the interior gets cleaned also. Now it is nearly June and I have been trying to get our cars cleaned since Christmas. I have called and left messages because they continue to be closed, but I have never received a return call. I would like to receive a refund for the gift cards. They closed, they were supposed to reopen under new management and rename themselves Edge Car Wash, and we were told they would reopen April 1. I guess the April Fools Joke was on us.Service:Auto interior vacuuming
D HK: $40 and I think they just vacuumed the floor and wiped the dash. No attention to detail. I could still wipe a finger through the dirt and it moved.
Lori Nieter: I took my husband’s car for a wash after a very extended time sitting outside 24/7 under an oak and maple tree through two pollen seasons. To say pollen was caked on is an understatement. The wash wasn’t able to remove all the pollen, which didn’t surprise me. But the customer service I received from Gabriella was OUTSTANDING. She offered to get the power washer to try and remove the pollen build up. She got the car cleaner than I thought it was possible! Thank you Gabriella!! Next time I need my car washed and dried, I will request her personally.
Tawanna Johnson: This place has denied my interior service twice stating staff issues when I see them working on another car won’t get my business since it’s clearly not wanted
David Eash: Didn’t do well cleaning my RAM 1500. Last foot of sides and tailgate still had soap & dirt on it afterwards.
CnlHm L: I should have read the reviews first. My truck is still absolutely filthy. Staff, besides the older lady, were not friendly either.
E Sugarman: Excellent car wash- totally cleaned my SUV which was really filthy. Free vacuums work well and they supply clean dry and damp rags for cleaning the interior. Attendants are nice, too.
Gabriella Larson: This is by far the best car wash in the Triangle! I drive from Knightdale (approx 25 min drive) to get “the boar” or “the lion” package. Their $60 and $80 interior and exterior packages are just short of a detailing for a great price. The crew (especially Beth and Gabriela) are so personable and kind. The whole crew always goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right!Services:Polishing,Vacuuming,Auto interior vacuuming,Car waxing
Chris Gyles (Gyles): Worth the money and the wait.Tips the crew more than a couple dollars. Don’t forget, they have to split what you give them many ways.
Joelle Logan: First, when I showed up, no one was around. I thought maybe it was closed, and they forgot to block the entrance with those orange cones. I panicked a little because I had already paid.A guy finally appeared, but it was kinda weird, he came over from the street, not from the wash. But whatever, he got the machine started. The poor man had to kick some plate down a few times and physically push my car forward as it kept getting stuck on something. The wash was over faster than everything else I just mentioned, like one minute. The vacuums ARE GARBAGE. NO SUCTION! I went to a couple, thinking perhaps I had just picked a bad spot, but nope.... they were all beyond weak. The rags/towles provided were wet, nicely folded, but wet.Save your time and money and go elsewhere. There's a good one at Tryon and Jones Franklin, in that little shopping center. I wish I had driven the extra miles and went there instead.Don't go here, just don't.
Casey Mican: I have tried getting an appointment for a full service detailing and no one calls me back. I stopped by to get a car wash and the gentleman just said they respond so I tried again and nothing. I have a gift card from Xmas and I’d like to use it. Pretty disappointed
Tin Dingo: One of the few full interior and exterior revive car washes in the area. They did an pretty good job, but the interior clean-up was not as thorough as I would hope when paying 38 bucks for their Ultimate Wash. There was a lot of little crevices on the dash, like my cup holders, that maybe got wiped down but doesn’t look they vacuumed them at all. They did do a great job on my floor board carpets and seats.
Country Coach Guy: Fair price for the new model car wash. Free use of vacum and wash rags.
Emily Hermann: This place used to be my favorite car wash to use but the quality has drastically gone down over the last year. They removed detailing all together from the Cary location, and now it’s only available at the other locations. Not having detailing would be fine except none of the vacuums are ever in working order, so you basically pay $15+ for a car wash and then can’t even clean the rest of your car. There was only 1 working vacuum when I was there today, so myself and the other cars had to do an awkward shuffle of who got to use the vacuum. The spray they leave out isn’t great either, I’m assuming it was just a rubbing alcohol solution so it didn’t really do much to get any extra dirt off of places. Overall just bummed, this place used to be great.
Brooke Rawls: Do a great job with customer service.
Jayden Dancer: Me and some of my family members always go to vacuum out the car and they have amazing service.Service:Vacuuming
Taylor Keeney: This business has been in a death spiral since COVID. Old owners, new owners; it just doesn't matter. I was one of the first monthly unlimited wash VIPs. Started in 2013. What used to be a great operation has now turned into a lackluster experience. To be clear; this is not Thomas' fault. He and his crew bust it all day. They try to hire. This is on the absentee new owners who are unwilling to pay a wage that will recruit and retain enough staff to not have a 1.5 hour wait. I am done with this place. The only thing that will change the owners mindset is by everyone going elsewhere until they fix it for the employees in terms of wages and benefits. I won't be coming back and I spent thousands of dollars here over a 10 year period. Sad for the long time employees. Best of luck to them.
George England: The time has come…. I used these guys from the beginning when they first opened. They were GREAT! Over time the declined in service so I stopped using them. I recently decided to give them a shot again not once but twice and the quality was so so low. I paid extra for a full details service once and the second time the best standard detail package they have. Every time I clean there is still dirt in the cup holders, spears and or areas not even hit on the widows and even some of the cleaners not applied compared to each visit. I think I am done giving them a shot. There are many way better car washes in the area now! Ohh forgot to mention in the expensive detail they said they would work on scratches before they started and by the ends they never even touched a scratch.Services:Scratch removal,Polishing,Auto detailing,Vacuuming,Auto interior vacuuming,Car waxing
Chris D'Arco: Trying to sell my car so I had a full service detail done. It wasn't cheap but it was well worth it and actually paid for itself. A dealer knocked $500 off for the scratches but they were ably to buff them out. The inside looks fantastic like it's ready for the showroom. It's also the best car wash around
Stephen Slager: Did a great job
VARUN GANOTRA: Not a thorough clean with a wolf package
