Carol Rose: Yum! Ate here today, w some women from my SS class! We like coming here, & get fresh well made food, & they change their menu for the season! Service has been very good too! Plus friendly staff, the place is clean & very inviting!
Ed Barnes: Had a great Monday here with my wife. The bruschetta was so fresh and delicious. Both of our mains were amazing and had great presentation. Ben was attentive and provided great service. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and were lucky the weather was perfect. The bread pudding was ok - maybe my muted response is we were so full at that point.
Ashley Startek: Had a day off and a sitter and happen to be in Cary so we stopped in for a quick drink at the bar. The bartender was lovely and drinks were great! Brie was good and the fish special that was a take on French onion and it was amazing!!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jessica McClenney: We loved Academy Street pre covid but went back last night and we’re unimpressed. We had the Brie appetizer which didn’t have enough bread and then ordered our entrees. I had the salad with shrimp and it was 3 shrimp total. Not worth the price. My husband had the ribeye and it was over cooked and lacked anything special. The flourless chocolate dessert was the best thing.Overall, price was expensive for what we got and it feels like it lacked it’s uniqueness and quality it had previously.
Jeff Smith: Just go ahead and order the beef short ribs, delicious!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Marilyn Richardson: We found this place after a Google search and thought the menu sounded good and the prices were reasonable. Once we arrived to the restaurant we discovered that the prices had almost doubled. The manager claimed they had no control over what Google posts and took no accountability for the price discrepancy. That should have been a red flag to leave, but we decided to order some food to go since we had driven so far to the location. Boy were disappointed. The food is ABSOLUTELY not worth the price. My friend ordered the Farmers Market plate and stated it was horrible. I hoped that my food would be a little better...WRONG! I ordered the firecracker shrimp which were just reheated Gordons or Van de Kamp frozen shrimp and store bought sauce; and the seafood paella. The rice was bland, over cooked and watery. The seafood was defrosted, low budget grocery store swill and the "chorizo" tasted like boiled ground beef. The chef must be allergic to salt and pepper. The food was absolute garbage for almost $100. I wish I could take back the tip.
Michael Baumann: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Denise M: Unfortunately, it's not a hidden gem anymore! Small lovely little place to have lunch, especially during the week. Food is great. Toby Wells: Pleasant location and atmosphere. Food is one notch above average. Nothing to get excited about. Avoid the BLT. Crab cake is crunchy and small for the price. I would give it 3-1/2 stars, but I know they are trying!
Stephen Steele: The food was just okay. Not worth the price. They gave me the wrong food, and the kitchen was closing up by the time they got the food to us. My wife's risotto was good. So I'm not going to slam the food completely. But man, write your orders down.I had ordered a beef ribeye, even pointing out if they could leave the spinach side off because it gives me digestive issues. And they brought out the pork ribeye. Which let's face it is a fancy way of saying pork chop.It was fine I guess, but the squash mash that comes with it might as well be pumpkin pie filling is so sweet. And the pork was chewy as hell. I get it was fatty being a ribeye, but some of it was more gristle than fat.The atmosphere had no real charm, like it didn't know what it wanted to be. Not dark and cozy enough, not bright and airy enough. It was in the meh middle. Maybe it's better when there is natural light, but not in the evening. The specialty cocktail, the secret garden I think it was called, was a garden that should have stayed secret. It lacked any real citrus to balance the sweet, and it was fairly watery. The rosemary syrup didn't have any rosemary notes, and all I got was syrup. Maybe it was the house choice of gin being too much for it, but if you say rosemary, I want to taste it.Also, and this is just picky, don't put a cocktail like that on ice. Or at least not that ice. It ends up getting very watered down. It would have been better in a coup without ice. Or in a rocks glass with one or two larger chunks.
kingston33714: We sat at the bar and the entire time the severs were talking $#!t about me an my wife being interracial couple and are probably to poor to order drinks. Then the food came out. I got the duck breast and she got steak. Mine was un edible to the point where I was chewing rubber. Hers wasn't that bad thankfully. All in all I spent 80 bucks for trashDefinitely will never show up again.
Howard S: Ate outside. Best part of the experience. Food was average as were portions. Nothing to get excited about. Might go back some day. Maybe yes maybe noFood: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot, Free street parking …More
John Williams: Awesome place for lunch, can't wait to try a wonderful dinner menu soon. Service was truly over the top, her name escapes me at the moment. Baked Brie app, none better. Crab cake sandwich to die for. Macaroni salad fresh and homemade goodness.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Goji Bistro: what do users think?
Ele Link: Food was excellent and service was great. My daughter has celiac and they have a HUGE gluten free menu, which was fantastic. We will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free menu
J Cianca: Great service. We came into order takeout and they were friendly and offered quick service. We ordered a beer and started chatting about the Japanese beer they had on the menu. Without hesitation he offered us a sample. This was unexpected yet much appreciated. The general vibe at the bar was friendly and positive. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend coming again.
Rony Waheibi: Awesome food, great portions, very accommodating, FANTASTIC drunken noodles. Drunk as of this review but this place goes HARD.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Laura Anderson: Goji Bistro catered a large lunch for our company and they knocked it our of the park. Diana (sp?) was absolutely wonderful to work with when planning the food choices. She delivered it on time, was just as friendly as could be. We had a lot of specific dietary needs and she answered all my questions and labelled everything beautifully! They food was absolutely delicious! However many dumplings that you think you need, order more! They go fast! I also learned that none of their meals contain MSG - which is a bonus! 5 plus stars!Dietary restrictions: So many dietary options and they were all amazing!!
Rasheda Johnson: I’ve been missing Asian food for a while since I had to go GLUTEN FREE & then I found this wonderful place & they have a whole gluten free menu. The food was absolutely amazing. My husband ordered the Mongolian steak off that menu also because order server Austin recommended it & he loved it. I had the sesame chicken & the summer rolls which were very tasty along with the sauce. Last but not least the costumer service is superb!! Mr. ken(GM) was so welcoming & Austin did an outstanding job waiting on us.
Alexey Bulaev: Worst food I've ever tried in the USA. frozen rice from Costco is better than here. Also they charged tips twice and never said it that you pay tip twice.
Steve Knoblock: My favorite Chinese restaurant dish, Singapore Street Noodles are very good. The fried rice is very good too. Not too salty. Good with shrimp. They have cheese quesadilla for kids, which made my son happy.
Zack Ross: We waited a hour and 5 min to get our order taken then another 30 for food the service was terrible and need more staff… food was good though
Fawn Thayer: I love their gf sesame chicken and fried rice. It's amazing. You will not be disappointed if you go!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Rice …More
Steven Precourt: Probably the best Asian restaurant in Cary. They have a very wide range of Chinese and Thai dishes on the menu and they are all done very well. I've never had a bad dish here. It's pretty amazing how even when they are super busy, the service is always fast, and you never wait more than more than 15 minutes to get your food. The only problem they have is staffing shortages, but that affects every restaurant nowadays.
Dottie Blyth: My friend and I popped in Goji Bistro on a Monday evening looking for a quick bite to eat. I’ve lived in Cary for over a year now but this was my first time stopping by — was pleasantly surprised at the food, atmosphere and service quality! Ken was extremely attentive and recommended the Mongolian Beef, which was delicious. Will be coming back!
Erin Donehoo: Great food and great atmosphere! The Dan Dan Mein was tasty and you can customize the spice level to your liking. The manager Ken is very friendly and focused on creating a positive experience for guests. Good family owned local business!
Brandon Edwards: Ordered lunch to-go. The Mongolian beef was amazing! Good, quality meat used. No cheap China No.1 hole in the wall stuff here. The fried rice was excellent and the hot & sour soup was the best that I have had yet, and it is my go to at any Asian restaurant we visit. Very happy this place is across the street from my office!
Lisa m: The service, atmosphere and food are amazing. They have a large celiac certified gluten free menu and kitchen. We went twice in 3 days. Will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free certified kitchen
Henry M. Lancaster II: Tasty mix of Asian cuisine.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Singapore Noodles, Green Curry, Tempura Green Beans, Egg Roll Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
tom w.: Wonderful restaurant, food top notch service is amazing, and it’s clean. server Seamus was incredible. Nice atmosphere for family or date.
Leanne Clute: We originally found Goji Bistro via the Find Me Gluten Free mobile app while out in Cary, in November. Our first experience was wonderful with the food being absolutely delicious! We have visited again since and met the owners during a night where they were short staffed and juggling it all. As a former restaurant worker - I sympathize with the struggle. Despite staff shortage, we had another amazing meal and enjoyed chatting with the owners. This establishment is Celiac knowledgeable and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious, and the cocktails do not disappoint! We look forward to our next outing in Cary and enjoying Goji Bistro again and again!
Travis Horton: Decent Asian food, reasonable prices and quick service. A goto place for a fast mealFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Singapore Noodles …More
Elvin Chicas: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Bobby Sampson Jr.: The Goji Bristo is a cool inviting atmosphere the staff and owner are friendly. Austin was my server, and it was fantastic service by Austin! I got the Red Curry which isn't the spiciest one. But it was up there in spice. Ken came by and explained what happened with the spice. I appreciate the explanation. The waiters made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Great attitudes. Overall the food and the place was good. I have pictures of the curry I started to eat, and a picture of the gluten free menu. I do recommend giving this place a try if you're visiting Cary, NC.Vegetarian options: They have vegan and vegetarian options identified by a green leaf and a green V next to the food items. Austin, my server, mentioned Goji Bristo has all gluten free menu! Most of the major entres have gluten free option that can be made.

Walter Underwood: Surprisingly good.
Steven Sligar: Breakfast was super. My cooked to order omelet was ready in a few minutes and prepared the way I like it. Full of veggies and a flower garnish. Very attentive cleaners that kept dishes picked up and the dining area clean.
Jean Woods: Had lunch here while attending a workshop and while the food was great the service was horrible. I ordered the Short Rib Grill cheese sandwich with a side salad and received cold french fries instead of salad. The burger my friend ordered came with no condiments and cold fries. Had to ask for drink refills which I never received. Had to go get manager to correct our order. Which she did promptly. Only saw original waitress when she brought check then took forever to get change. There were only 3 other tables, restaurant no where near full or busy.
Rachael Lord: I honestly can't believe this restaurant is so good. I have serious cravings for their steak salad. We had a conference there and I had the same meal three nights in a row for dinner and would do it all over again. Very, very impressed!
Gaylene Bogart: It's a wonderful place to be?
Miguel Hernandez: I love Embassy Suites

Abi Turner (Buzbuz9): My friend recommended this place to me and it was quite good. Competitive prices with other restaurants of a similar caliber and better health code rating. Nice atmosphere and nice people ordered takeout online and went to pick up food about 20min later it was hot and ready. We got crab rangoons 8/10, beef and broccoli 7/10, hibachi chicken 8/10, and beef udon 7/10. Overall a pleasant experience and we will come again :)Update: We come here all the time. It is one of our fav restaurants in the area. Thry have great food and sushi. Never had a bad dish here. My fav is the Mongolian beef and my friends love their habachi.

The waitress was available and proficient and got my order prepared as I asked for. In town from Boston and wish they had a local affiliate I could frequent.
Britt Miller: I got take out and it was very quick. However I asked for teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce but they gave me soy. The rolls were okay but nothing special. Was very average.Vegetarian options: I got the sweet potato and tofu roll
Aboli Patil: I wouldn't recommend this place in Cary to anyone who wants to be treated with some basic decency. My friend and I had a really bad experience there. The server who waited on us was a total jerk. She didn't even bother to talk to us politely and just threw the menu on the table. My friend and I were so put off by the server's attitude that we decided to leave the restaurant without ordering any food. I definitely won't be going back there again.

H. C.: Good food and service. Great looking placeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Corey Bangs: The teriyaki chicken bowl I ordered was $12 (delivery was free, though!). The sauce was basically flavorless water and the chicken was dry. I ate all of it, but it was overall disappointing. Not trying to hate, but being charged an arm and a leg "because of inflation" is getting really old, especially since quality of delivered food has plummeted.
Russell Villard: Very nice. The food is excellent. Friendly staff. Real nice sitting area.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Rice …More
Chad Blankenbeker: I’ve only ever gotten take out here before, but after ordering 3-4 times over several years I’m not going to again. There is nothing special about the food, I’ve tried the sweet and sour chicken and the teriyaki stir fry. The teriyaki chicken is essentially a soup, the entire bowl is always full of liquid and broth, which if that’s what you expect from a stir fry then you’ll like it. The last straw was forgetting to include rice with my last order. I don’t eat sushi but for what’s it worth I’ve heard it’s okay.
Corey Mccumber: Red Bowl is a cute, cozy, and welcoming spot to grab excellent food. Their staff are all always friendly, and accommodating no matter how busy. Their food is exceptional, from their outstanding stir-fry bar, to sweet and sour chicken (my fav), to some of the best sushi I've ever had. If you are looking for fantastic food, service and atmosphere Red Bowl is it.
Scott Sternkopf: Best Chinese place I've been to in townFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mandy Traylor Cavanaugh: My family visited Red Bowl Asian Bistro last night and we were so disappointed. Service was alright, and atmosphere was fine, but...- None of our food was hot.- My dinner looked and tasted like a microwave dinner.- I ordered a spicy mango chicken dish, and there was no spice to it whatsoever. I didn't finish even half of my meal, and definitely didn't take it home for leftovers.- The food was mediocre and WAY overpriced for the low quality. We definitely won't be visiting again.
Shane Armstrong: Food was okay, but not great. My vegetables were undercooked and my friend’s chicken was over cooked and greatly lacking in sauce. Service was good but couldn’t save the mediocre meal. Probably won’t return.
Robert Gantt: Would love to eat there... but apparently they roll the town up at 9pm looks very nice. Wanted to compare to Florence store.Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Cassiata T: I love Asian food so much, and when I heard about this place with a wide variety of dishes, including sushi rolls, I knew I had to make it up here even though it was pouring outside. I’m so happy I did! It has zen decorations that make you feel relaxed. The lighting is soft, and the music is calming yet modern. For the appetizer, I ordered the Spring Roll and Bang Bang Shrimp. The Spring Roll was lightly fried, and the cabbage stuffing was fresh. The Bang Bang Shrimp was so good!! It was large portioned, so it was like eating a shrimp salad. It was light on my palate because the shrimp was medium-sized, gently dipped in the tempura batter, and they used fresh iceberg lettuce. For entrees, I ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken with Fried Rice and the Snow White Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. The pineapple in thee Sweet & Sour chicken was ripe and would’ve been better if it wasn’t added. The Snow White Roll was cold and the imitation crab on top was chewy. For dessert, I ordered the Banana Spring Roll. The banana went bad, so it was bitter and sweet.Overall: 6.5/10
