Kristen Williams: The Gamers Geekery and Tavern in Cary, NC is an AWESOME place to spend time playing a wide variety of games (pull out a classic, try something new).. oh and also you can eat and drink while you're there (bonus!!) What better combo can you have?? We LOVE games but find that we spend the money to buy them and never find the time to play.. this place allows you to make an event out of it WHILE still being able to try new games! We loved it and will be regulars for sure (especially as our boys get old enough to play as well!!)!! Huge thanks to Lance for making the reservation process easy, and to all of the staff for their help and attentiveness!
Michael Armstorng: Good place to visit for an afternoon or (from indirect experience) a special event. The library of games is big and good for new experiences beyond "standard boardgames".Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Adam & Andrea Sicard: Overall great! Food was simple, yummy and decently priced. We devoured the pretzel bites (yuuum!), cheese pizza, Zelda and 2 Dragonball sandwiches. We stayed a little over 3 hrs and played a bunch of games with our 17 and 15 y/o teens. Nice atmosphere and selection. Definitely recommend and will be back!Recommended dishes Cheese Flatbread, Warm Pretzel Bites …More

Jared N: Pretty good, but the IPA for Geekery is /ɡiːkəɹi/, not /gēkēry/. Diagonal strokes are reserved for IPA. enPR only uses Latin characters without stokes. That would be gēkərē I believe. Thanks for the free popcorn.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

Nathan Custis: Great place with amazing atmosphere and staff. Food is a little on the expensive side, but while not fancy, it is quite good. Well worth paying a little extra for. Meeple's Brew: what do users think?
Amber McNeill: I love this place 10/10 spot, I come here for breakfast all the time & love the staff. NOT AT ALL a fan of the new or old management. I’m not sure why but the staff is always phenomenal and their managers are simply rude.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Igor: Service is very long, feels chronically understaffed. It's typical to wait 15m for a lukewarm, watered down latte. But the worst of it is food. It is simply terrible. Even a 4 year old slapping some random stuff at home would do a better job.The so called "egg and cheese sandwich" was a pathetic looking amalgam of unevenly toasted wonder bread, American "cheese" and hard boiled eggs. Just embarrassing, really.
Noelia Bautista: I couldn't take pictures of my food because I was starving but it was good I ordered an avocado toast and a chai latte, the staff was friendly, they saved me from being locked in the bathroom. I’ll come back to play board games! And try the peachesy toast because they didn’t have itFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Avocado Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Carol Hesse: A little gem stuck in the corner of a strip mall. Staff is wonderful. If u are a gamer, you want to check out their selection of board games!Food is good. Portions are a bit small, but I haven't tried everything.Great coffee!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kay Merritt: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Christine Wei: I love the food and drinks at this place so much. The games are cool too but usually we don’t spend as much time here as others do. The tiramisu latte I had was incredible. The waffle I got tasted really good. The only problem was the wait time: we waited for probably close to half an hour for our food. We went at peak time, though, so it’s understandable. I love the little things they sell on the side as well!
Megan Sally: Great coffee shop with amazing coffee! Service was excellent and Avocado Toast was yummy! Huge collection for Board game lovers.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Roger Mac: Delicious smoothies and breakfast. Relaxed Atmosphere and fun board games. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Inside it's cozy with good decor and outdoor seating available. Although, it gets crowded on weekend.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mike E: 34 minutes to get a ham sandwich, avocado toast - the toast sat long enough to get cold and hard on both plates. The avocado toast was ONE thin, tiny piece of bread that was eaten in 2 minutes.Food: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Big Pedro: Not good, not good, not good...service was EXTREMELY slow! Food was subpar. I had a ham sandwich that I could have made at home for 95 cents. To compound that, the"toast" on the sandwich was cold and rock hard! The staff is clueless and lacks leadership. There's a Wendy's in the parking lot that serves breakfast...go there instead!!!
Bianca Morales: I don’t usually leave google reviews, but I had to for Meeple’s Brew. My boyfriend and I had just got into town after an exhausting day of travel, and wanted to stop by a coffee shop for a quick espresso before we drive an hour back to our house. I am SO glad we chose to stop at Meeple’s! The atmosphere was so cozy, and the employees were extremely welcoming and so nice. They had an abundance of board games to choose from, just in case you want to enjoy a quick game with friends while you enjoy your drink (you do have to pay for them, however) , and they also had a variety of stickers/pins/prints for sale from local artists. The coffee was perfect, and their food, specifically the avocado toast and mixed berry waffle, was sooooo yummy. However, what really sealed the deal for me about this place was the fact that they have a small box of toiletries such as hairpins and even baby diapers that you can take for free in their bathrooms. I found this to be so thoughtful, and immediately wanted to write a review to let everyone know how pleasant of an experience it was to have breakfast at this establishment. Will definitely be coming back in the near future!
Caroline Crouse: Ok its really good but I paid NINE dollars for this “large” latte. The people were really nice but the price really killed the vibe. Just not worth the money in my opinion.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Shirley SM: This place is a hidden gem. Board games and amazing sandwiches for a brunch date! Hell yes. People are super friendly, share tables and space to make it a perfect spot to unwind. Definitely coming back again.Try the Beef and Egg sandwich. Its so yum!
Matthew Buice: It was okay but just seemed to miss the mark. Breakfast sandwiches (bacon/egg/cheese) are assumed to be served warm, but all was cold. The oatmeal lacked flavor, and the waffle was served with very cold unsalted butter. Waffle itself was tasty. Latte was supposed to be white chocolate and blackberry but neither flavor was present. A second was ordered with the same results to confirm it wasn't simply a mix-up. Overall great potential but I wish I could say better. The menu is large but would rather them perfect a few items than fall short on several.
Bethany Vivo: Great cafe! Quite, taste dishes and the coffee is great! The wifi is slllllooooowww but the a atmosphere and food makes up for it.Parking: YesDietary restrictions: Gluten free
Zaineb Viqas: Unfortunately this place is a NO for me due to terrible wifi. Could not stream any youtube vdos. Hardly completed my work due to the slow network. Cafe is good, staff is good but internet is from the previous centuryFood: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
William Fisher: I couldn’t recommend coming here to play board games because it cost $10 for two people to play. I also couldn’t recommend getting food or drink at this location because they were out of everything we wanted. Plus, the menus for ordering are at the register, which is kind of too late to decide what you want. If you can help it, go elsewhere.
Rufat Nadir: Great service. Cozy atmosphere.Lovely place
Dalton Casey: Always love going here, such an amazing place to just chill and play games woth friends or just go for a calm environment to do workFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Cassie K: Had a strange experinece here service- wise. There was no one at the counter for a few minutes and the device to order was facing out towards the customer side of the counter, so we assumed it was a self-service ordering device. No one had come to take our order for a few minutes, so we put in our order, paid and tipped, then my boyfriend got scolded for putting our order in. This was our first and probably last time here, as we felt put off by this interaction/miscommunication. It would be helpful to put a sign on the kiosk facing the customers to not put in their own orders in, or maybe don't leave the order terminal facing customers when there is no employee to operate it.

Kenan Ratliff: Lots of space to play with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'd highly recommend swinging by.
The Reluctant Artist: Fun place to gather with friends to play games. Products always seem to be out of stock really fast
Anonymous User: Great staff, decent selection, but y'all seriously need to fix your bathrooms.
Gene Mauldin: Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the in-store community is really chill amd welcoming. This has become the new place my group and I meet to play EDH and Cardfight.
Артем Яценко: Good game club.
Alex Stover: Great game store
K Hathaway: Pokemon every Sunday!
Dave C: Great staff and lots of opportunities to play board games with you family, friends, and/or people with common interest.
Carlos Lanza Jr: A great store to shop at for board games, guidebooks, and many more items to buy! Friendly, free of space, and calming to be at! Highly recommend to come and shop here!
Joshua M.: Best and most friendly game store in the triangle!
Joe Radosevich: Cute store with something for every physical gamer (not much for video games, more board and card games, minis, etc.). Plenty of room for playing in the back. Friendly staff.
Mick Thomas: We play D&D at Gamer's Armory weekly. Great vibe, super friendly staff. Relatively minimal selection of minis but you can order through them.
Brett: Friendly Local Game Store. 40k, Magic and Infinity communities. Nice rewards program as well.
Passive Zealot: Very friendly, will definitely be back!
James Foster: Great local gaming store. Person working Sunday afternoon shift was really kind, and she let my daughter choose her own set of dice from the random assortment directly, talking out the color choices.
Wes Swain: Super friendly group of folks that operate this store! Very competitive prices for games and accessories with plenty of room inside to plop down with a game from their community library and play for Free! Definitely give these guys your business! 👍
Christopher Brown: Stopped in today, from Rhode Island! (Visiting Family in Cary).Great spot for any size gaming. They have events and a great selection of paint supplies and figures. (D&D). The guys there were really friendly and helpful!! More than just D &D BTW.
Jonathan Fay: Great place to find all your games, they order anything at competitive prices, some rare out of print finds too. I was a novice but joined their Marvel Champions league and the staff makes you feel so welcome, no matter your skill level.
Sheri Chen: Wonderful shop to find all your D&D , nerdie things. Shop keep was nice and knowledgeable. Good prices! No trolls or man eating warpletingers. 😜
shalenar: Please inform your employees to verify inventory before blurting out answers. Called and the employee answered within .5 seconds and said yes. 20+ minute drive later I was told they were actually sold out because he misunderstood what I said somehow. I canceled my Amazon order so I could purchase locally, even tho it's already cheaper to purchase online. Long time customer and it's sad that not only did I waste the gas to come out to you, but it was like they didn't care, they had their magic game to attend to and couldn't be bothered to address a problem they caused.

Side Quest Game Lounge + Bar: what do users think?
Mars Strausbaugh: The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I'm not big on strategy/rp games i definitely prefer things like scrabble and trivial pursuit haha but i did find a couple card games i enjoyed here. Their cocktails are Sooooo good and a good value-- i can't remember the one that had melon liqueur in it but omg that's the yummiest drink I've had in a while-- their butterbeer cocktail is a must-order too!
Dennis Dillon: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Jorma Pelto: This place is a fun little nerd heaven downtown. $5 per person to use a table and you can play whatever you want from their great game selection for as long as you want (at least as long as we wanted). Great drink selection, great staff, great atmosphere. Their butterbeer was really good. It's not a large place so it's possible you go there and all the tables are taken, but they have a bar you can chill at and it also looked like you can reserve a table, but don't quote me on that. We went on a Saturday around 430pm and stayed for like 2 hours and there was always at least one big table free.
Jim Goheen: Great idea and location, the bar part of it is pretty cool, too.
alex james: Great place if you want a nice treat while you play some table top games.
Armani Guerra: My wife and I come to Side Quest almost every week. We play D&D and can honestly say we’ve made friends with employees and customers alike. Absolutely love this place and I recommend it to all board game lovers, D&D enthusiasts and bar goers.
Mr. Necro: I went there for the first time last week, it was a really cool place, plenty of games to play and the food was good too and inexpensive, a truly local spot
John Terry: It’s a super fun cheap place with a great game selection definitely worth the stop!
Jordan: Really cool gaming, d&d, tabletop bar. Was a little surprised they had a fee for the use of their games and cards. But still definitely worth a visit
Matthew Leggett: Good service and great atmosphere!
Erica Walters: Great atmosphere and bartender. A fun time!
Brandan Pflugmacher: 5$ Table charge, great food, good drinks, fun games.
Deanna Hardesty: We had a great time playing games here, they have a huge selection and I love that the tables are big enough to accommodate a game with a lot of pieces! The drinks were also great, my only complaint is that it smells like burnt oil from the fried food they serve. Overall, a really great spot to spend some time and play some games
Ryan Mulvihill: Really excellent spot, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is extremely welcoming, everything was spot on. Will definitely be coming back!
Andrew Wright: This place has a great food and drink selection, everything I have had is fantastic. Staff is always amazing, super friendly and really cool! However, to me it is not a great place to play board games with friends. I have come twice, and each time it is incredibly loud. Maybe for some that is not a problem. I don't mind some noise--it makes things feel active and exciting. But I have to yell to explain rules/play the game with my friends because it's so loud. It's exhausting, distracting, and frustrating. I went on a night they had trivia as well, which made the noise experience even worse (I had checked to make sure no events were going on to avoid this, but guess I missed it somehow because I did not know it was happening). The trivia seemed to clash with the other tables playing games. I may come here to join exclusively in events like trivia, or just talk to people/eat drink. But not to meet friends/other people for board games.
Aaron Cervasio: Super cool atmosphere, the cocktails were fun, very awesome bar for a board/ttrpg gamer.
Nicole Farrak: I've been here a few times but absolutely love it. I wish this place existed when I lived in downtown Raleigh, we would have been a regular for sure. The drinks are amazing and the owner is super friendly. Great selection of games--perfect for trying out a game before you buy it for your own collection.
M Braley: Amazing atmosphere, great game choice and yummy food.Look on MeetUp for events they host.
James Hill: Staff was amazing and don't tell them but they do NOT charge enough for their food and drinksStandard bar food with a twist like Taco Pizza which was surprisingly goodPretty good beer wine and liquor selection for it's sizeGREAT adult gamer/tabletop place to meet and play with friends or just jump in a game with the friendly nerds already there
David J: The place is a nerd TEMPLE!! Everybody is nice and welcoming!Full bar, with great staff. The booze selection is good, but not huge.Owners are cool as hell.SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!!!
