I spent many hours with Joe debating the finer points of various products (I already have decent speakers and a really good audiophile qualityAmp). We listened to a a lot of music, before I plunked down muchos dineros. 😅In the process, he broadened the knowledge base of a budding audiophile.Joe’s (the owner) taste and opinions are not for the faint of heart. Danta Mills: Upgraded my factory speakers in my VW Tiguan to Focals after talking to Joe. I am beyond happy with the results! The sound is out of this world, they got me in in less than a week and it only took a couple hours. I think he are very fairly priced, as well. So worth it!

Brett Alt: Called to get an aftermarket backup camera installed. Man I spoke with told me right off the bat I had bought a cheap $20 knockoff Chinese camera from Amazon, and that he doesn’t install those. I said, well I bought this from Crutchfield and it’s a Pioneer that cost $100 and I doubt Crutchfield selling fake Pioneer equipment. He told me again I was trying to get him to install a cheap Chinese knockoff and he just happened to have a more expensive backup camera he could sell me and install. Right. Went to Best Buy and got it installed for less than this guy was going to charge me to install the one he was trying to upswell on me. So much for shopping local.

Employees weren't rookies and were able to figure out my issue(dead amp) and get me setup with a new one and I was our the door in about an hour. Prices might be higher but that is e pecked for more quality workmanship.

Dave Herr: Brought an amplifier in to Audio Exchange with a very strange problem, produces turn-on noise, but only when bi-amping speakers. Joe really worked with me about the issue, contacted the manufacturer, etc... He charges a bench fee (about $28.00) to look at something, with pre-discussed possible repair costs. Joe spent time working on the amp, but did not charge extra, as the problem was not fix-able. This is a great audio and repair shop. Joe is very knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyed working with him, and will gladly give him business in the future - the best recommendation I can give.

Micaela Oblander: Got a new head unit installed. Alpine iLX 507 for my wrangler .John recommended it. Great unit. Wireless Apple CarPlay and HDMI port for screen mirroring. Beautiful screen quality with tons of cool features. The whole instillation was done quickly and everything looks super clean (new BT mic, aux port for USB and HDMI, and additional usb in the glove compartment.Made sure the software was up to date and gave me a great run through on all of the features. These aren’t easy to install alone as an amateur if you want all your wheel controls and ports to still function, so it was well worth the price of the install- which was reasonable. Thanks boys!

Paul Pottschmidt: I called 919 motoring 10 mins before closing to ask about scheduling an appt to fix my car’s backup camera which stopped working after having the inspection done. I mentioned that I had an aftermarket radio installed earlier by another company. They asked me a few questions and told me what the likely simple fix was over the phone including explaining to me how the systems work so I could watch out for this in the future. The simple fix was as they described. They did this without asking me to bring the car in, knowing they didn’t install the radio or do the inspection. This was great, friendly, honest customer service. When I have a real problem in the future they will get my business!

James Britt: They were nice (shaun) but we just couldn't seem to meet on a build (my requirements vs their need to maximize profit).Long version:They had an issue with a Ford F150 and keeping a factory head unit while upgrading the stereo. They had no availability on required modules through their distributors which seemed to be most of what they cared about. If they weren't able to profit off the parts, they didn't want to do it.Then they said after a few weeks go ahead and buy them (speakers) from a third party because we cannot get them.... Go figure. I dragged my feet at this point because this was the whole crux of the problem at first they didn't want to let me use parts from a third party if they did not have them (and couldn't order them)!Well I originally wanted a specific unit (navtv zen a2b) to integrate everything, and originally they told me they couldn't get one, so i asked if we could do that too (since now we are using a third party for stuff now anyways) and well.. kept trying to direct me to other options like replacing the factory head unit that i did not want to do.Said they'd get back to me with other options never did. My original budget may have been too low, but i was willing to increase it to get what i wanted.Well they never responded back and i just ended up doing it myself and for close to what they wanted to charge me for just adding a sub and swapping speakers.(full sound deadening, DSP, AMP, A2b, Custom behind seat sub enclosure JL / Focal, 1/0 gauge runs for ground and power to battery.) So i guess it was a blessing they weren't responding.Honestly I would save time and look somewhere else that is more interested in working with you rather than on what they can profit off of from a distributor even if it doesn't line up with your requirements.I'm sure if you just wanna replace speakers in a 20 year old car with an easy to replace head unit they are prob your spot. They didn't seem up to the challenge, and I did it myself with 0 experience and a lot of research. Or maybe they just don't like working on Fords.The install turned out probably better than a shop would have done / had time for anyways. So maybe I should give them a good review for making me do it?

Bingy Beats: Went in to get a USB port installed in my center console for an aftermarket Sony touch screen unit that was already installed in a used car that I literally just purchased. Got the USB port installed, but when I got the car back some of my preexisting speakers were shorting out. I called them and they didn't hesitate to help me out. Despite the unit being installed incorrectly by the former owner of the car, they fixed the wiring and corrected the issue for me when they didn't have to, as it wasn't caused by their USB port install. They did me a solid and it says a lot about them. Though they can be a bit "salesy" I can say I'd be confident that they'd back their work and products. They deserve the 5 stars.

Dan Sharp: I have had several radios and backup cameras installed and am always impressed with the service here. Everyone that I have worked with is very knowledgeable, patient, and not pushy on upselling but thorough on explanations for different price points. Installation always looks extremely professional and seamless with interior for all of my vehicles (Mazda, Lexus, and Jeep). I had an issue with the steering wheel controls on radio in the jeep about a year after install and they immediately diagnosed the issue and fixed it without charge. I will continue to come here for all aftermarket upgrades and have already referred several others who are also very happy.

Robbie White: Found this place online based on reviews. Customer service has been above and beyond. The main rep Trey spent 2 hours with me today attempting to help file a claim with my car dealership who sold me a car with a rear DVD player not working. He was patient, extremely helpful and willing to work with the third party to resolve the issue so we could have sound station install the new player. Everything is resolved and I am leaving my car here for 24 hours so they can install a new player! Will leave a follow up review once I have my car back. So far the experience has been incredible.

Tom: The aftermarket radio in my car died and would not turn on. I dropped by and after a little diagnosing, the staff determined a fuse in the radio and a fuse in my car had blown. They replaced both and sent me on my way for a nominal charge. Very happy with them since I was expecting I’d have to replace the whole thing.

Jeremy: I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. Stay far away from this sketchy owner and his so called “business” They do awful work and cut corners every possible way. I made the mistake taking my 2020 Ford F-250 Limited and 2020 F-150 Platinum here and they did a pathetic job of the installs and have no morals when it comes to business.

Jeffrey Gordon: I’ve used them for years and they’re always awesome… but today was another level. I purchased a new car stereo from them several years ago. It works per the manufacturer but the head unit will freeze sometimes and doesn’t have a power switch. I went today to ask them to install an interrupt switch to allow me to power cycle the unit without turning off the car. They did it at no charge! Just fantastic service/support for their work.

Robert Edwards: The guy salesman I meet must of took me for an easy mark. Gave me a way overinflated price on a single 10 inch sub and premade box for almost$1500. The shop across town quoted me $1200 for a custom box and 2 10inch subs with amp and install. He also couldn't answer basic install questions, avoid.

cory gibson: This is a year after doing business…I had a stereo, and back up camera installed, and a light bar that needed a relay. At the time the work was done I noticed that they hadn’t secured some of the wiring, and they charged to fix the light bar but never actually fixed it. Upon further inspection of the light bar they installed a new switch in a random place by the lower area breaking the plastic panel there. They then ran a wire to nothing. Not sure what the thought was there?When I called a day after pick up and pointed out the issues I had seen and asked if I could get a refund for the labor associated with the light bar the (claimed owner) refused.A year later I have had to redo everything. They broke several components to include not wiring the stereo properly causing a short frying my gauge cluster.It seems, from reading the reviews at least, that the quality of craftsmanship is a fairly new issue (within the last couple years). I think if they got some new leadership in there, specifically someone who has experience running a shop and implementing a good QA process then they’ll get back on track.Until then please go elsewhere.

Alphonso Cuffee: Check around on prices before you purchase from here. I was looking for two 12” kicker subwoofers because Best Buy had sold out. The price at Best Buy was $219. each. This place wanted to charge me $350 each, and said purchase from Best Buy if you don’t like the price. So don’t settle for the price they give always search around!
