David: Amazing parish! Theirs is a super welcoming community, a beautiful building, and an excellent mission and conception. This is a fabulous addition to the Diocese and a great location for a new parish with a great patron at that. They're lead by a humble priest who loves his parishioners, defers to tradition, and is excited to be the pastor of this budding community. Just 15 days after the consecration of the altar, and a full week before becoming a certified parish, Mother Theresa Catholic Church pulled off an awesome, bar-none Christmas service. For all of these reasons, I rate this church 5 out of 5 stars.
Chris Rayala: I love Mother Theresa Catholic Church. It is a small and intimate church and has a "community" feel to it. Everyone is friendly. Father Dan is awesome! He is very friendly and gives great homilies. The administrative staff are very helpful.It also helps that the new worship center is beautiful and modern.

Justin Graham: Visited this parish back in August of 2019 since Eastern Catholic churches are often hard to find. The congregation sang beautifully from beginning to end and the priest gave a healthy homily on obedience and not letting anger overcome us. The parish also employed the other smells and bells which Eastern Catholics are known to use, and for good reason. The trad in me definitely appreciated that. My Pentecostal aunt and bapticostal mother also visited with me, and I think they kinda got blown away by the constant invoking of the Blessed Trinity and the general attitude that everyone was there to worship God in the fullness of the Christian faith. If I lived in the Raleigh area, this would be my home parish.

Janie Mindas: I'm from Indiana and was born and raised going to the Byzantine Catholic Church. My daughter just recently moved to the Cary, North Carolina area. I was down visiting her and wanted to go to church. Just out of curiosity I checked to see if there was a Byzantine Catholic Church near her. I found St. Cyril so I went on Oct. 8th. I felt so welcome and was so impressed with the parishioners. There were some differences and different songs they sang compared to my church, it was very interesting. They sang so beautifully. I wish I could have spent time afterwards visiting, but I had to get back to my daughters house. If I'm ever visiting my daughter and I'm there on a Sunday I will definitely go back.
thomson mathew: Truly truly the Church is Catholic ( universal ). The Divine Liturgy ( at 1030) is an heavenly experience (rightly so). The symbolisms and use of icons in Byzantine liturgy is quite an experience and opens ones eyes to divine mysteries like never before . A prayer before receiving holy communion caught my deepest attention :From the Byzantine LiturgyO Lord, I believe and profess that you are truly Christ, the Son of the living God, who came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the first. Accept me as a partaker of your mystical supper, O Son of God; for I will not reveal your mystery to your enemies, nor will I give you a kiss as did Judas, but like the thief I confess to you: Remember me, O Lord, when you shall come into your kingdom. Remember me, O Master, when you shall come into your kingdom. Remember me, O Holy One, when you shall come into your kingdom. May the partaking of your Holy Mysteries, O Lord, be not for my judgment or condemnation, but for the healing of soul and body. O Lord, I also believe and profess that this, which I am about to receive, is truly your most precious Body and your life-giving Blood, which, I pray, make me worthy to receive for the remission of all my sins and for life everlasting. Joe A: Arrived for a mass that was advertised on the website and the building was locked up. This was exacerbated by today being a holy day of obligation and pouring rain without any parking. Spent 30 minutes walking around in the rain. This is truly disappointing and because the Parish doesn't care enough to update their website for scheduled mass times, I will now have to go to reconciliation. This is truly just like the leadership in the Raleigh diocese. Rarely doing their job, unavailable to be reached, and with little concern for your eternal soul. Thanks a lot!
Andrea Webb: Beautiful church and our officiant was great. However, their wedding committee totally forgot about my groom in the corner and had me walk out without him being upfront. I was stopped in the middle of the isle to be informed they forgot my groom. No bride should have to go through this. I spent a lot of money, time, and effort to have it wasted and not get to see his face when he first saw me. I suppose it wouldn't have mattered if we did a first look, but we did not. Very heartbroken and disappointed with the wedding committee at Sacred Heart. Brides beware.

There are other reasons not mentioned. Don’t know what has changed the last couple of years but it’s not the same. Almost like it’s not Catholic. I gave this Church a five star rating three years ago.

Kelly Cooper: I was a visitor one Sunday. The Deacon had to stand in for the Priest at the 11am mass. He was engaging and explained without a priest he couldn't celebrate a mass. And that everyone needs to pray for Holy men to hear God's call to become priests. We had a Communion service

I have had nothing but positive experiences with the late Bishop Gossman and Bishop Burbidge.. Bishop Burbidge worked diligently on behalf of the Church of Raleigh.

The ceremony is holy, i try to compose myself as that day I feel so sad my father just passaway, and I can’t hide the tears in homily. But being in the church given me an ease and peace.
Dave Skorupski: Very devout parish and school teaching the Catholic faith.The church building itself has an open-air design, consisting of two levels, both if which are easily accessible for those with mobility issues. An elevator is available in addition to a staircase.The main floor is an angular-shaped semi-circle (for lack of a better description) but has enough pews for several hundred people.Also on the main floor are about a dozen displays containing first-class relics of a variety of Saints, going back as far as St. Agnes from the 300's to as recent as Padre Pio.I was there for a weekday Mass, but even with the "low" Mass, the priest was VERY thorough on his homily of the day's readings and really made me feel like I was at a High Mass!I was happy to hear the Mass proclaimed with several Latin exclamations, bells and many of the faithful demonstrating true devotions to the Eucharist.Well worth the visit should you find yourself in the area.

Brian Maleck: Attended for a wedding in November 2021.The church was quite spacious and clean, but a bit oddly designed. There didn't really seem to be enough parking at the church, they must park elsewhere for weekly mass. We were provided transportation to the church for the wedding. The front door was around the back of the church from the parking lot and it was a bit tight getting in. The door to the main part of the church was just to the right of the door to the outside, which left little room for people lining up to get in. There was a bit of a backup with everyone trying to grab a program and decide where to sit.The church itself was laid out with most of the seats either being to the left or the right of the altar and fewer rows with a head on view of the altar. There were large glass windows behind the altar and the sunlight shone very nicely into those windows. That gave a nice effect of the light illuminating the couple during the service.

I am so glad that they take the utmost precautions during this trying time.I commend the congregation for their attendance. Faith is a powerful tool. We got to have it, especially now.I really enjoyed the service, and look forward to returning again and soon.
