Brittney Wendt: Cary police department is efficient kind humble and helpful. They came into my office today to inform me of an event they are holding to help for Christmas. They truly help our community and protect us and I respect them greatly for all that they do.
Rob: Cary Police get a one-star in traffic enforcement. I’m in town visiting and I have never in my life see such negligence from drivers in this suburb with neglect of turn signal usage. I’m not talking one or two folks — it’s a massive safety issue and negligence issue here.How about enforcing it? All you need to do is drive behind folks and witness it for yourself. Start enforcing it before these selfish drivers create wrecks and so forth.

Questionable Actions: Beware of officer Southard he will slam you down on the bathroom floor and proceed to place his knee on your back. When the cameras are off watch your back, these officers are dangerous and can not be trusted.

Janessa: I would give 5 stars due to Jennifer the dispatcher whom helped me tremendously but the officer that was dispatched didn’t even want to step in my home after I asked him to come in so bugs won’t fly in.The officer told me he couldn’t do anything and I’d have to wait until morning to go to the courthouse.A man telling a mother that he can’t do anything about getting her daughter back home since 11am because child custody isn’t in place.How can a man understand what I could be going through. And yet they still don’t know where she is.
Praveen Sriram: Never received a speeding ticket even though I have been caught speeding at least 4 times in the past 7 years. I am very grateful they decided to only give warning instead of write a ticket and hopefully I learned my lesson and always drive at or around the speed limit. Also very helpful in domestic situations and not quick to make judgments or arrests. I highly recommend the Cary PD. Had been working with them since moving to NC in August 2000 17 years ago.Update (5/7/19)- really helps with domestic situations in a seriously troubled dysfunctional family. They showed up at our house twice in one day.
Henry Patrick: I moved to Cary after 20 years in downtown Raleigh. Been here five years. Cary is a great town to live and work in. It is an active, family oriented community full of good hard working people. CPD seems to be fair and honest. Cary is not an island and is used as a "cut thru" from Durham to Raleigh. Most of the crime in this town is caused by people that do not live here or have respect for their community and neighbors. If these folks fear CPD..Great. Keep up the good work. The real citizens have your back.

David C: Thanks for keeping our community safe! Whenever I'm elsewhere in the Triangle (especially Raleigh or Durham), I rarely see a police presence. But that's not so in Cary. I've been pulled over by Cary PD before and the officers have been courteous, whereas when I lived in Raleigh, they were disrespectful.

Ficherman A: We had occasion to request a visit over the weekend to intervene, counsel and inform in a fast developing family situation. Three police cars parked quietly on our street within minutes, and a quiet, defining visit followed. Officers, led by a member of the CIT team were calm, patient, interactive and definitive as to the law. Their intervention led us to a constructive resolution, in the days following, with a younger member of our family.
Shellerz: I called the cops to let them know my neighbor had returned and previous cops asked I give a call if he’s ever seen again so I did. The cop that responded said I’m a nosy ass neighbor, excuse me for reporting the person who assaulted a child. Do your job or get out of law enforcement.

My fiancé and I have called your traffic department multiple times with no response,left messages, and I even posted a video on facebook and tagged you in it so you can see! Kids play on the shoulders,people ride bikes,and WE walk our dog on this road! IT SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE WERE WALKING DOWN A HIGHWAY! Can someone please reapond to us,why doesn't our safety matter to you!?
