Offerald fitzgerald jr: I’ve been a customer since 2012 and the food has always been amazing. However recently they have decided to increase their menu prices, to an exorbitant amount. I blindly order shrimp fajitas one of my menu favorites, and an Arnold Palmer. My bill was 33 dollars and change!!!!!! Granted I did get extra shrimp, but to double the cost of your entree is a horrible decision. At any restaurant shrimp fajitas is never more than about 16 dollars, La Cocina should be no exception. This probably why the restaurant was so empty yesterday, cause it’s cheaper to go to a steakhouse. Lost a loyal customer and his family being greedy.

At first they told us they had it and were going to ask the manager,turns out they didn’t and said they throw it away, (how are you going to throw away something of value right?)the stroller had name and number in case if it got lost. William Renfroe: Easily the worst meal we've ever had at any "Mexican" restaurant.We arrived at the end of the lunch rush. The restaurant was busy, so apparently it is popular. We appeared to be the only Anglos in the dining room. That and the many positive reviews raised out expectations.The pollo rostizado was the only really positive part of the meal. It was pretty good. The rice wasn't bad. The rest of the meal (chicken enchiladas, the black beans that came with the roast chicken and enchiladas, the iced tea) were awful. The "beans" were mostly pot liquor. The tea had a nasty aftertaste. The enchiladas were almost tasteless. The chips served with the meal were greasy and had almost no corn flavor.I don't know why our experience was so bad when there are so many good reviews. We obviously won't be going back.

I don't like other places where I have tried similar dishes and the size of those portions in those places are very small in comparison. Also they always serve you chips with hot salsa for free as an appetizer while you wait for your order. Only thing sometimes they don't refill your beverage right away.

C Hall: New favorite Mexican food restaurant. We visited for the first time a few weeks ago and we've already come back twice more. I've tried the chicken burrito (it's huge) and it was really really good, even the next day as leftovers. The second time we went I got chicken sope, loved it! This time, I tried the huaraches with chicken picadillo. The chicken is pretty darn good. Plenty of fresh lettuce and the good cheese. The chips and salsa are terrific, too! The chips crackle like they are multi layered. I have to try not to fill up on them because they are so great I'll forget about my meal! Oh, yeah, the cantaloupe agua fresca is amazing and tastes just like a juicy, delicious cantaloupe. I two thumbs up recommend this restaurant! The only tiny thing I don't love is that sometimes the music is too loud.
