Joe Holbrook: At start NC DMV App & website IMPOSSIBLE to maneuver! ! -800# ‘even-‘WORST’After MANY calls, & Wrestling with the DMV Automated voice telephone system & Finally reaching the option to access a LIVE PERSON agent, EVERY-TIME after waiting long times , a voice finally says -“Sorry”-(something like)All The DMV agents are busy taking care of other callers. Please call back later ! And that exact same process happens again & again & again for days! ! !Finally, after being able to renew my Drier License on the DMV website -(I think) & trying to keep frustration from getting to me I called all the NC DOT #s on their website since DMV is I can find on the internet
Lucid: The NC DOT is a fully partisan entity, their philosophy is that of the entire democrat party: "resist". if you're a White male republican you will not receive fair treatment from NC DOT or anyone associated with them.
Donna Muse: As a former state employee (teacher) I would not have held my job for over 25 years if I had behaved as irresponsibly as this agency. There is clear lack of communication. I turned in a license plate a day before it was due and paid a fine (my fault). A week later I get a letter from the the Department of Transportation telling me my plate is revoked and they will seize it. If you try to reach an human in this department it is impossible. So I will snail mail them a copy of their letter and a notice that they have the plate in hand.

Tammy Rhoades-Baldwin: I sold my car to my daughter who moved out of state and immediately transferred the insurance to her policy. I've mailed the NC plate back months ago and am still getting letters with fees and collection threats. I've tried to call numerous times and can't get through to anyone. Just when I think I've finally gotten to the place where a real person will talk to me the line goes silent. I'm tired of paying fees for lapse in liability when the car has been covered with no lapse in coverage. I mailed a letter with proof that my plate had been received at their office and two weeks later I get another letter asking for another $110. I'm so frustrated!
Jadyn Altmeyer: Revoked my license plate even though I’m active duty military and candor go anywhere to fix it and won’t extend it just keep sending me fees in the mail. Never came in contact with a state who can’t work with active duty military. It’s sad.
Rusty Kroboth: The new website is broken, so couldn't complete my registration. When I emailed asking if they could fix the issue, a person with the title "subject matter expert" replied that the solution was to just come into the office in person to renew my registration, so I didn't need to deal with the broken website. That was super helpful.
