Beth Shalom: what do users think?
Nicole Stewart: Very welcoming Rabbi and congregation.
None Unbecoming: I emailed the president of this synagogue to ask about conversion and got this reply: "Do you have a real name for starts and more details .... address, phone number"Does not seem friendly or welcoming at all to me, as the president's first interaction with me is to accuse me of my name being fake, and ignored my question about where to start with conversion.
Tracey Gardner: Family
David Zeiler: A home away from home
Panda family: We have visited several Temples in the area but we found our "home" here.💝
Rebecca Collins: There are three good reform temples in the area, but this has been the one that has felt like home - warm, welcoming, like a large family.
John Robinson: Excellent community. We were immediately welcomed by several Members during our first visit. We have enjoyed each service that we have attended ever since.

Beth El Synagogue: what do users think?
Jonathan Breitzer: Conservative and Orthodox under one roof, and some weeks an additional chavurah service. You need a pretty robust community to sustain all that! Eruv in the neighborhood. Lay-led, with an inspiring, energetic rabbi. Calendar chock-full of events.
Anthony Edwards: Visited for first time on Sat. Friendly, welcoming community. Loved Rabbi Greyber - very knowledgeable, fun, and caring.
Melissa Keinan: Thankful to have found a welcoming and growing community since leaving NYC
Edu US-108: Haribol
Edison Sava: This ain’t a review but recently I converted to being Jewish and I want to know if there’s a way I can help y’all with stuff thanks!
Libby Vaughn: Warm and welcoming. A mighty fine community.

Hal Sandick: Wonderful congregation, great Rabbi. Welcoming community.
adi eliav: Wonderful service and welcoming people

Hunter Levinsohn: My place of worship
Jamie Hull: It has been a honor and privilege to watch this be remodeled
Reggie Parker: Crawford sprinkler
Sydney Miller: Beth El is a wonderful community.
Beth Friedland: By far the most welcoming and warm conservative synagogue in North Carolina with a very deep bench of lay leaders, biblical scholars from area universties, and an awesome Rabbi as well as Rabbi Emeritus, with a few retired Rabbis thrown in for good measure. They are currently undergoing a major building renovation with a high degree of grace and poise. They are assisted in this endeavor by Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church in Durham, just a few short blocks from the synagogue.
Dan Gross: Welcoming open synagogueOthodox minyan in the basement
