The Templeton of Cary: what do users think?
Hayden Taylor: Swift Creek Health Center is a gorgeous community and highly recommended. They have hard working staff, from their kind Administration to their care team, that demonstrates genuine care to all.
Kathie Bell: The staff and Residents at The Templeton of Cary are so friendly and kind. The food is delicious, so many activities and fitness classes. It feels like home! I have a dog who has made friends too!
Nathan Robison: The Templeton has been such a great addition to the neighborhood since it opened a couple of years ago. I live just around the corner and know several of the residents there. They have great things to say about the services and staff there. Krista and her team do a great job of welcoming family and visitors in and truly making The Templeton home.
Peggy Griffin: The anniversary celebration today was fabulous. The staff and all the dining staff went all out to provide a great atmosphere and great food. Enjoyed it all and appreciate so much the hard work to make the anniversary day special
Leslie Tramontin: My parents moved to the Templeton 6 months ago and are enjoying their new apartment with the little balcony. They’ve made friends and enjoy playing pool and yoga classes. It’s been a positive transition and I’m so glad to have them close by in their beautiful, safe home.
Colin Dailey: A family friend recently moved in and she has raved about her positive experience at the Templeton. She loves the social aspect and has had a blast making new friends through activities within the community. Most importantly, the staff is exceptional. They provide a friendly, warm and inviting atmosphere that brings her so much joy. They also provide excellent care and are always willing to go above and beyond to make accommodations for their residents.
Ashley Vaughan: I have several friends who have moved to the Templeton within the past year. They are all thriving! They have enjoyed meeting many new friends and engaging in lots of on campus activities. The staff is top notch! Nicol, Debra, Liz and Krista are always willing to go out of their way to help the residence feel comfortable. The staff has been so helpful with getting their residents to feel at home after the move in.
Jon Clarkson: If you are in the unfortunate situation of evaluating memory care options for a family member, Templeton is NOT the place for you. Their advertised "support" is non-existent. "Support" is inclusive, marketing language, which is weaponized by their staff. My family has battled the dementia of my grandfather for several years. The "support" expires as things become inconvenient for them. Templeton has been a consistent disappointment. Take your business elsewhere.Should you have additional questions, please reach out to me. I would love to paint a clear picture of what you can expect from Templeton's "memory support".
Mary Lou Booth: Visiting my “ sister” here for rehab . Hoping to get home soon !!
Jodi Snare: My mother just spent a week at the Templeton's rehab center after getting out of the hospital (her Independent Living facility didn't have a rehab on site). The Templeton's rehab is brand new--she was the first visitor in the suite. Beautiful facility, great food, and wonderful people. They took great care of my mother. She was discharged today and upon picking her up there were also magazines, puzzles, etc. that they had brought to her, someone had polished her nails, etc. They were all just so kind! She was almost sad to be going. Thanks so much for taking such great care my mother!!! I have no doubt you'll be a #1 choice for many once people realize you're there. :-)
Rex Hoppa: This is my new Home now. The staff are terrific and the apartments are the best IMHO. I am just getting acquainted but so far everything is good and all of the folks living here are very friendly. Having a good time. They even have a place for my Trike

Searstone Retirement Community: what do users think?
CORENE FRANCIS: Beautiful property. Professional staff.I love this Retirement home. The best in this area!💯
Chuck Borum: Good visit
Alex Boone: Best senior living community!
Ticarra “lane_set” Marley: Director is horrible . Concierge supervisor horrible and on drugs Maintenance is horrible they have residence living in bad condition with holes in the walls and the apartments are made for ages like 18-25 or 30-50 not for elderly people safe hazard. And they do drugs on the job and also the employees put the residence in dangerous situation and all the camera doesn't work pendent doesn't work.
Anne Oney: 2 1/2 years after crossing the country to live at Searstone, we know we have found our permanent home. The very best thing about Searstone? The wonderful people and staff, all of whom make you feel like a part of a large family. We love it here!
Pazhayidathe George: We moved into Searstone ( a CCRC in Cary NC) about a year and few months ago. Many people assume that elderly people move into nursing homes or convelescent centers to pass away. But most residents in CCRC's come there to live independently while they can, then move into in house medical care when needed. This is probably the last major move in one's life, a big decision. Many residents in Searstone consider this as their own homes. They constantly strive to improve the conditions in Searstone . Also many people in the management and the support staff have a genuine interest in the successful functioning of Searstone. Searstone appears to be country club facility. We both are pleased that we moved into Searstone
Alex Quigley: After a careful search to find a retirement community, my mother landed on SearStone. I couldn't be more pleased that she selected this wonderful place to call her new home in NC close to her 4 grandchildren. The transition has been transformative for her as it has enabled her to move all the way from snowy Boston and be immediately plugged in to a supportive and vibrant community. The staff at SearStone walked with her every step of the way and ensured that this big change would happen smoothly. Now that she's settled I've had the opportunity to see her thrive in the new setting, taking advantage of the beautiful saltwater pool, tons of outings for residents, and easy access to everything you would ever need in Cary. The staff has continued to be warm, welcoming, and responsive. She routinely shares with me about different staff members and how they have helped her in a myriad of ways. SearStone has been a blessing for Mom and I'm grateful that they've enabled her to make this move to North Carolina nothing but positive.
Ivan Bowman: Moved to Searstone last December because of my health problems. Found it even better than expected. Facilities including pool. hot tub, exercise, etc are first class. More scheduled activities and entertainment than I can take advantage of. Food facilities and food quality are great. Servings may be too large, but make for a great lunch the next day. Unfortunately my wife came down with a very active brain cancer, It was another test of the facilities over the three months until her death. Nursing care facilities were excellent. free limousine service to Duke, daily drop by from the clinic's nurses. Residents offered more help than we could use. Could not imagine a better place to have been. In fact, I would not consider moving to somewhere else now. Social environment is wonderful.
Monty Stepura: We moved my mother to SearStone from a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Florida back in February. She turned 90 this year and while she is still in very good health, we wanted her to be closer to us now. We found SearStone right around the corner from where we live and are so pleased with our choice. Mom has a beautiful apartment, amazing on-site healthcare and wonderful neighbors. The staff is very friendly and helpful. SearStone offers a wide variety of activities from which to choose and there is truly something for everyone.

Waltonwood Cary Parkway: what do users think?
Amy Buchan _ Staff - Substitute: The staff at Waltonwood has provided top notch care for my mom since she moved into Memory Care in August 2022. They consistently communicate with the families of residents to keep us updated on the day to day happenings & events on site. The caregivers show kindness & patience with residents as they attend to each individual’s specific needs. The various activities, programs, & outings offered to residents are engaging and fun! In addition, the staff members take time to get to know the residents’ family members and genuinely strive to support us as we navigate a “new normal” for our loved ones.
Ashleigh Wood: I have worked at Waltonwood for about 6 months. It has been a wonderful place to work with wonderful staff and residents. I enjoy being able to provide engagement and activities for our residents! :)
Dee D: Waltonwood Cary Parkway is a beautiful community filled with lots of love and laughter. As an employee of 11 years I would say Signh is a great company to work for!
Tina Forsythe: I watched Waltonwood Cary start from the ground up and 13+ years later I can honestly say I can not picture myself working anywhere else. The residents/family have become my family. I love all of them with all my heart. I am looking forward to seeing what great things 2023 will bring for them and the associates of Waltonwood.
R. Renswop: My mother was kicked out of this facility with NO NOTICE, this was a blatant violation of the contract. I would not recommend this place to anyone ! Its a little late for me to discuss what happened. I stand by what I said, its FACT !
Kaitlyn Duffy: I’ve worked at Waltonwood for the past 2 years. It’s been a wonderful experience learning and growing with the waltonwood family. I absolutely love planning programs for our amazing residents. Waltonwood does a great job at taking care of their residents. I’m very grateful and proud to be apart of such a great team
Peggy Boothe: I have worked at Waltonwood Cary Parkway for 9 years. Prior to moving to North Carolina I was in Mortgage Department with a Bank in Jacksonville, Florida. After being a vet assistant, I was looking for a place to call Home and I found Cary. I came for an interview at WW and fell in love. Everyone was so nice, residents, other staff and the managers. Over the past 9 years I have gained a whole new family. Come to Waltonwood and you will not be disappointed.
Mark Curran: My father was a resident at Waltonwood Cary Parkway for just over a year. I always found the staff and residents to be open, friendly and helpful when needed. I would recommend Waltonwood to anyone who is looking for a high quality senior living facility for themselves or a loved one.
Donna Walmsley: I have mixed feelings about WW. There are a few caregivers and med techs that are wonderful. The food on the AL side is hit or miss. Undercooked meat and vegetables and they don't pay attention to what is checked on the menus. My mom is diabetic but would received a sandwich on bread and french fries (carbs and carbs).Recently, we moved my mother out on 11/25 and 11/26 but left things to be picked up on 11/28. On 11/28 we returned to the apartment to find it unlocked. Upon entering we noticed things were missing: kitchen side table, cooler, television, rollator, wrapping paper, step stool, kitchen trash can, laundry basket and clothes had been taken out of the laundry basket and throw on top of a box of plants and the shredding machine had been kicked over and shredded papers were all over the floorWe reported all of this to one of the managers who was sitting at the front desk. She said she'd let the other manager know and they would pull the cameras. A third manager and maintenance supervisor met us in the hallway and when we went back in the apartment all of the items had been returned. Maintenance said there had been a misunderstanding between a caregiver and a housekeeper. The caregiver used her key and let herself and the housekeeper in the apartment. The caregiver took it upon her authority to say that everything left in there was trash and she could take what she wanted. I let them know that THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! The apartment belonged to and was paid for by my parents until November 30. No one should have been in there for any reason. There was no one in there that needed to be cared for and a caregiver should not have been allowed to let herself in.This is a case of trespassing and stealing/looting/thievery. We have considering filing charges with the police. This should never have happened. My mother was grieving the loss of her husband, planning a funeral, moving to a new location and now having to deal with the thought of being robbed.Though we are thankful everything was returned (that we know of), we hope that the appropriate action has been taken to make sure this caregiver is aware of her wrongdoing and has been reprimanded/put on leave/or best, fired. I hope this is not a pattern and that this hasn't happened to other residents when they leave.
rachel duffy: Waltonwood is a top notch community. It was very clean and well taken cared for. I had a fantastic experience when visiting!
Danielle Laurent: Waltonwood is an excellent senior living community. I have worked for the Legacy within the Waltonwood Cary Parkway community for 3 and a half years. Waltonwood always puts the residents first, has excellent activities and food and welcomes everyone with open arms. The staff is always helpful and wants the best for the residents. I would highly recommend to anyone in the Triangle area looking to move a loved one here!
Billy Duffy: Waltonwood does a fantastic job with their community. The food menu offer a great variety and the residents really love the action stations.
Brandon Trimyer: My wife and I are the owners of the local Duck Donuts locations, with our very first in Cary. In the first couple years of our journey in Cary, we connected with Waltonwood and are honored and proud to say we have had a long standing partnership with these great folks. We have been delivering weekly donuts to the Waltonwood residents for more than a few years now and truly appreciate their partnership and support of our small business. We know what a great reputation Waltonwood has as a high quality assisted living facility and wish them continued success.
Dakota Olive: Waltonwood has been a great place to work at, ever since i started in 2021 I have received nothing but great training, experience, and relationships with co-workers and residents. I would recommend Waltonwood to anyone seeking a great career or a place for their loved ones to stay at. :)
Kathy Gregg: I visited my grandfather at this facility and it was amazing. The staff was great and seemed to genuinely care about the residents. I couldn't ask for a better alternate family for him than the staff here. It was a beautiful setting and all of the residents seemed very happy.
Jeff Meyer: I stopped by to see the community late in the afternoon one day. A lady named Tina gave me a tour and I was impressed with her professionalism and the community. I will definitely consider the community for the future.
Christine Conway-Balder: I worked as a receptionist at Waltonwood Cary Parkway for a little over 2 years. I loved working there. The residents and staff are great to work with! I enjoyed the events staff planned for the residents. The managers also do a lot to appreciate their staff (especially the BOM). If I ever move back to NC I would love to work at Waltonwood again!
Kayla Conway: I volunteered for Waltonwood for 3 years. The staff and residents treated me like family. I would still be there now but I moved out of state when I got out of school.
Chris Buchanan: I'm a past employee and want to share how wonderful the staff is. They care about each resident like family. The company is family owned and great to work with.
kim maples: Great environment with lovely people and activities.
