Chad Robertson: We closed on an Ashton Woods home in 2018, and I would definitely recommend using another builder.I have no construction experience, but the low quality work was so egregious that I could easily tell something was wrong.I would highly recommend closely inspecting and documenting any issues during the build, no matter how small. If you have a warranty, I would definitely have an inspection done prior to the end of the warranty period. Ashton Woods has used the pandemic and employee turnover to try to avoid of covering items that are covered by the warranty. We have worked with 4 different PMs (all combative) over 3 years that have quit and our reports have disappeared and now the items are magically not covered. The silver lining is that our issues were not nearly as bad as our neighbors.At least their quality is consistent, both product and service is awful.Service:New construction services

He spent time to understand what we wanted and how we had visioned it to look. He is very responsive in his communication & he pays attention to every minute detail. He documents your concerns and keeps you updated as we fix them on every stage. There were many stages where things got delayed due to reasons beyond his control but he kept us informed on the reasons and made up time where he could. He made sure to meet us & shared regular updates with us and as we approached our closing he made sure he met us at least twice a week and did many walk-though meetings during which all our major issues were addressed. We were amazed at things that Andrew was able to catch and resolve. He is a fun guy to work with and always had a smile on his face. He stops by to greet us when time permits and we are always happy to see him.
