Forefront Dermatology Cary, NC: what do users think?
Glenn York: Very friendly staff
Emma Autry: The staff is amazing and so kind I loved it and they helped me so much.
Norm Zakrzewski: Great staff. Very polite and friendly. Was a great thorough check up.
Cazzi Norgren: Very kind staff! Efficient appointments.
Dawn Walker: Very thorough and personable.
Anita Stewart: I’m so glad I went to this appointment yesterday. She immediately saw that something was going on with my scalp. She did a biopsy and I wasn’t expecting that. Hopefully the results are good so I can get the injections to boost my follicles up. I need my hair back. I’m so emotional right now.
Allen Harrison: Great, in and out, quick and easy.
Brenda Paugh: To Dr Soberberg: FYIJust call for new patient appointment for a body scan . For myself and husband , we live five mins. from this office . We also have dermatology in Fl. We see dermatology every six months . Our other dermatologist that we see here in Cary has left the office.I was told to see Dr Soberberg I would have to travel to Holly Spring because he does not see a new patient in the Cary office. So that means I would have to pay 540 toll and gas to travel to HS when he is just five mins from my home. We are retired , you just lost two new patients.
carl abrams: Efficient and very friendly. Had no wait time at all
Kim Murray: Not my best medical experience. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but I will be searching for a different dermatology option.
Rodney Obaigbena: Dr. Soderberg is the best! The staff is also amazing!
Divya Kandikatti: Everyone from front desk to staff were amazing, was easy in and out without too much wait!
Patsy Oates: Exam was fast. Didn't explain detail
Ron-E P: Great place usually but I'm not pleased with them today. Rearranged my week for this appointment and here I sit. Not a phone call, text or email. We even spoke this morning when I asked about an earlier appointment availability and they allow me to show up uninformed like this. Not sure I'll be returning. There's never a way any kind of medical practices can compensate you in instances like this. One's just out of luck and expected to walk away with only an apology.
T S: Great team knowledgeable friendly and helpful I would recommend them to anyone in need.
sandra little: Awesome staff and doctor! I didn’t have to wait past my appointment time. Will definitely go back!
barbara corigliano: I finally found a great dermatologist and staff! Highly recommend.
Eddie Skrovan: Very patient friendly. Made me feel welcome and treated me like a person and not a check. I will recommend them to everyone.
Bala Rangasamy: Quick consultation!! No wait time at the lobby. Highly recommend this place
Richard Arsenault: Excellent care
Loren Fauchier: Quick, professional, attentive. Explained the procedure and follow up.

Central Dermatology Center: what do users think?
Craig Manahan: minimum wait time; very professional service and excellent staff and facilities
KAB: Great experience
Brian Haebig: Great team! Professional and thorough.
Peter Sturm: I find Central Dermatology to be an excellent choice for me. The staff listens closely to my issues and addresses them fully. I feel like I am getting a full and professional review of my dermatology needs.
Margaret Rouse: Great experience..took time with me. Lots of good info. Thank you
Jes C.: Horrible front end staff
Anita Albert: Easy procedure and well informed staff. Great follow up as well.
K L: The woman who helped me was very kind and listened carefully. I had to use a cream for skin cancer on my face and it left an evident mark. Pricing for a laser is a little more here than elsewhere.
Nancy Laffer: Very good experience with the doctor and people in the office. No waiting. Everything was explained to me.Highly recommend.
Felix Perez: If you are looking for a dermatologist, just go somewhere else. Their front desk personnel; she is rude. Should’ve just read/listened to the reviews from others in Google in the first place. Had my yearly visit for refills so far out I had to call to move it in, just in order to get refills on time for my eczema flaring out. Took my morning off from work (unplanned) just so they could see me for refills, then when I got there, they wouldn’t see me because I was 9 mins late, saying they have a 10 mins policy. Yet waiting time in the lobby is always more than 10 mins. Had to travel over an hour to come see them just to hear they have a 10 mins policy.
Babette Cento: Dr James is professional, compassionate, always takes time to listen to my concerns and values my input. I am so thankful to have her as my dermatologist.
Soto Soto: Concern with a spot that appeared on my chest, I set an appointment at this location. The lady scheduling my appointment over the phone stated self pay cost was $50-$80. When I get there I check in and mentioned again of being self pay. No price was ever mention while checking in. The Dr and nurse treating me were very nice but within a matter of 5-10 minutes I was checking out because there was not much they could really do for my concerns. When I check out I was first told self pay is $131 than the lady said $200!I informed them that I was quoted $50-$80 via phone or else I would have never made the appointment!I am someone with two small kids and on my own. This type of expenses means having to chose between HAVING ENOUGH to pay for ends meet, or paying such over priced visit. Please be aware of this for anyone making an appointment with them!
Nancy Adcock: I had an appointment and was happy that I was called to see theperson for my appointment right on time.
lisbeth fillard: I give 3 stars. I would give 5 to Dr G. She is great. But the office is awful. I was supposed to get an email after my appt with allergy information. No email so I called and emailed. No response. I gave up and tried to make do without the information. I then had 2 other issues and left a message on the nurse line. No response. So I finally called the appt line and they were sooooo rude. Told me the office is busy and they don’t have time to return calls. She said my responses would be in the patient portal, but there were no responses there either to my calls. You can’t have a great practice with zero communication. And no one wants to deal with a rude person on the other end of the phone. I’ll miss Dr G but I’m moving to a new practice.
Linda Gunter: Dr. Amy is the best dermatologist I have ever had. She is professional, quick but thorough, and cares about her patients. I had never seen the device she used to check my moles which magnified them and measured them at the same time. What a great tool to use for a body exam. Dr. Amy won me over on my first visit.
Jorge A. Alvarez Lalin: La dea James y su asistente son excelentes. Super amables y profesionales.
Safae Qassimi: Is a good central Dermatology and great service
Linda Barrow: Dr. Sara James is fabulous with such a caring personal touch!
gloria cook: I am glad to have Dr. James as my regular dermatologist as she is familiar with my medical history and is alert to any changes in my skin since my previous visit. She is always friendly and pleasant and provides excellent medical care.
Kelley Smith: The support staff and doctors are always friendly, kind and helpful. Most likely for this reason, it is very difficult to get an appointment. My only complaint, ever, was when they were forced to cancel an appointment and I was required to wait 3 months for a new one. It seems like there should be a better plan.
Toni Jabson: Great visit. Friendly and efficient.

Blue Ridge Dermatology Associates: what do users think?
Pam Mauldin: I have been going to Dr. Hash for several years. She is very respectful and makes me feel comfortable, when I am actually very uncomfortable about going in for my annual check. I highly recommend her.
Jeanette D: Dr O'Rourke is the best. Very professional, knowledgeable in her field and friendly, she explains everything she is doing. I can't say enough good things about. I'm glad my whole family is being taken care of by her.
Moshe Meron: I absolutely DO NOT recommend Blue Ridge Dermatology.I waited over 45 minutes in a waiting room. The sad thing about it that there is a note saying to approach the receptionist after 15 min, well I did it after 30 min. and I was told to wait 10 more min. After 45 min. I gave up and left the clinic without getting service.
Vincent Quarles Jr: Great practice!
M.T. Scott: Everything about my appointment with Caroline was outstanding. From the receptionists making the appointment, to check-in, to the appointment, all was perfect. Caroline had extensive knowledge and was most helpful to provide me with new information. Thank you!
Whitney Rose: I absolutely do not recommend Blue Ridge Dermatology. I waited over 40 minutes in a waiting room so crowded there was only 1 open chair. The receptionist knew there was an extended wait (they told other patients) but I was not told when I checked in or called and told this in advance. I had a similar experience previously, but had assumed it was just a busy day. I now think this is just how the practice operates though. My appointment lasted less than 15 minutes. The doctor seemed to have zero prior knowledge of who I was (despite having my chart in front of her) and told me I was going to need surgery to have a spot removed. She went through the whole process of explaining the surgery and the months of recovery, then looked at my chart and changed her mind. Now I’m not sure what to believe and will be getting a second opinion. The exam was also incredibly rushed (again, under 15 minutes total). My underwear were pulled down with no warning and other invasive actions were taken without my consent or explanation. I found this to be rather intrusive and could be triggering to some people. Luckily, I knew to expect this because this was not a single occurrence. The same thing had happened at my previous appointment. I filled out their review survey and let them know this occurred after the first visit. And again this time. They obviously don't read their surveys or worse don't care about what a patient experiences.I find this no way to treat patients. I will not return to this practice and caution others to explore other options.
scott: I very-much appreciate the providers and staff at Blue Ridge Dermatology.Caroline Day is awesome.Thank you all, for all you do!
Talaya Dee: The doctor (Dr. Nagaraj) and the assistant were nice, however, none of my concerns were addressed. The main concern, a mole, that was treated with cryotherapy (which I was told would fall off in a few weeks), is still there several months later. I made an inquiry via my patient portal to have this addressed again and received no reply. Other concerns I had, the doctor told me, those are typical for my age and I should not be concerned. If I am the patient, I am concerned and I am paying, I deserve more. More than $400 charged and zero issues taken care of. The one star is because they were nice, but also because one cannot rate lower. I will definitely not be returning to this practice. In response to the owner's response, I reached out to your office via the patient portal and to date, no one has responded.
Sicle FaZe O_O: I called two weeks ago and asked to schedule an appointment. The receptionist said that they were not taking new patients and to call back the 1st week of May to book as far out as June. So, I call back on May 5th and they said they could not book me an appointment. I couldn’t even been put on a list for a cancellation. I’m disappointed and frustrated that I was told I could get an appointment if I called back in May.
Chris Johnson: Dr. Cathcart is so kind and thorough. I can't recommend her highly enough. I truly feel like I'm getting the best care the Triangle has to offer.
Andrea Grater: Me. Waiting. I love Dr O'Rourke and the Blue Ridge Dermatology practice, but she is running 40 minutes late. My advice, if you work or have other plans... Call before you go.I'll miss my next meeting or I'll have to leave and wait another month for another appointment. It also means I probably won't get the time to have the services I need or ask the questions I want to ask.
Chris Hoyt: Waste of time. Set appointment 6 weeks ago for next week only get a message today that my "provider" Dr. Hash would be out of the office and I had to call to reschedule. After two calls and holding for a combined 20 minutes I'm told it will be 8 more weeks for the next opening. Seriously? I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.
Tim Boulden: Great experience. Very friendly and caring. Took care of all my needs.
Gen H: Saw Dr. Nagaraj for a mole removal due to a cancer concern. I asked for an estimate on the cost as a previous practice charged me almost $500. She estimated high and I can honestly say they didn't scam me. What I paid is what I expected. I really liked Dr. Nagaraj she was quick and painless and answered all my questions. Everything healed nicely this time around too.
Margaret Minuth: Could not be happier. Available appointment quickly for melanoma concern, put mind at ease, froze a few spots.... NO PAIN! At my my previous derm, I wanted to slap my doc due to the pain LOL. Nice staff. Covid precautions enacted. Three cheers and 5 stars!!
u tube: after waiting for long minutes -- they hang up. rude and unprofessional.
Inara Timirgalieva: I would not give any number to this practice at all just because one unprofessional doctor and careless rude staff in Cary location.First, I saw dr.Lockitz(sorry, if misspelled) twice. First time 5 years ago with my eczema. She only saw me 5 minutes(new patient) and said my condition doesn't have any cure and prescribed vanicream knowing it doesn't help me at all (I told that to her). Then I saw her about a year ago. I forgot the name of the doctor I saw previously, so, I was appointed to see her again. Well, this time I had another reason. To scan my skin and my moles. Especially one, on my neck, as it's started to irritate me. The mole was growing and changing the color, its location is very inconvenient and always rubbed against the clothes, so I said I want it to be removed. She took a look at the mole and said she doesn't see any reason for the mole to be removed. So I paid a lit of money for the visit in spite of the insurance coverings and went out with the problem. Month later, I faced the real problem with the mole. It's became bigger and I suspected I have a melanoma. I removed the mole at another dermatology and am so happy. However, I'm waiting for the results of the mole(biopsy) if it has cancer cells or not. If dr.Lockitz removed that mole on time I visited her, I wouldn't face scary health condition. Her unprofessionalism is behind the norm.
Dan: Dr. Katherine O'Rourke. Is worth the visit from Holly Springs! She is wonderful
Danielle L.: Have not had the best care with Dr. Ghate. Although she is very caring, she couldn't seem to come even close to helping to treat my diagnosis. I felt I was just a number here & my money has gone down the drain unfortunately
Green Olive: I love love love this place! Dr. Carolina Day is an amazing person. I love being a patient to caring and concerned individuals. Dr. Day explained everything to me and asked me if I had any questions. The staff was amazing as well. I definitely would recommend Blue Ridge to anyone.
Lynn Canada: Convenient locations. Excellent staff. Do/have recommended. Found out several neighbors go to same doctor and they highly recommend as well.

Preston Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center: what do users think?
Ivy Counselor: There is a reason why you can get a quick appointment here. Many reasons. I will never go back.
Mama Bear: I was from out of Town and was referred to Dr. Solomon and I only wish Oklahoma had a Dr like her.
Dawn Schildhorn: The doctor uses a nurse (that she calls a "PA") in her absence to perform her work - including body scans and even melanoma surgery! Without any supervision by a dermatologist or any doctor! Melanoma was left in arm after removal - needs to be redone. Elsewhere. Won't go back here. Other mistakes include forgetting to prescribe antibiotics and then ordering 43 pills instead of five! A mess.
Brittney Collins: amazing staff, highly recommend.
Ronnie: Great Doctor. She is very efficient.
Dylexa Danyell: I seen Dr. Solomon and a PA for a skin check about a month ago, they biopsied several places and one of them came back as a skin cancer a basal cell. After I returned for my follow to discuss my results, I was scheduled for my surgery a week later to have it removed. The entire process from start to finish was quick. I would recommend Preston Dermatology to all of my family and friends
Tamia Bliss: You all are complaining about bedside manner and cosmetology issues, but I will tell you one thing, Dr. Solomon knows her stuff! She saves lives. She sees skin cancer and removes it. That is all that matters when it comes to life or death. I won’t name any names, but my Mom was going to a different doctor for a while before the cancer on her nose was noticed, and the cancer on the top of her scalp that was over looked for years too. I know Dr. Solomon would have caught it a lot sooner. I am very thankful for her impeccable service!
Vane B: I am a malignant melanoma skin survivor and I have trusted Dr. Solomon at Preston Dermotology and Skin Surgery Clinic to keep my skin in perfect condition for over 3 years. At every check up, they are very caring, knowledgable, and answer any questions I may have as well as educating me on how to prevent more skin cancers in the future. They are very personable and generous with their time at your appointments. I can not recommend them highly enough.
Amanda Thomas: Friendly staff and helpful
BERNADETTE MOONEY: Such lovely people here. Very interested in the person not just the patient. Answered all my questions and felt good when I left.
Emily Grasso: I would give this practice 0 stars if I could. Most of the reviews address the same issues I had, over an hour late seeing me for my appointment, rushed visit with the Dr, didn't ask me any questions about my history, etc. In addition I had some biopsies and was given NO aftercare instructions and one of my skin issues was completely misdiagnosed. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.
Owen: I would trust my dead grandmother over Dr. Solomon to sew sutures into my back. Some of the worst stitches I've seen and I work with them every day since I work in hospitals. The worst communication and bed side manner from any medical professional I have ever experienced.Had a biopsy done and was never told results, my calls were never returned. I've had to request the results straight from the lab they use (Stratadx).Appointment times mean nothing as she crams them in with no regard for anyone else's schedule or time. I waited 2 hours past my appointment time for a scheduled procedure. When she finally saw me I never even saw her face as I was laying face down for her to remove the mole. She quickly left the room without giving me any information or even how many sutures were put in.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. All she cares about is money and it shows.
Adriel Gregory: Unfortunately after being a patient here for three years. The service is awful. I was being seen and treated. My last visit the doctor said two more weeks of medication. He said the nurse would call it in. I waited six days and no prescription was sent over. The pharmacy tried to call got no call backs. Three weeks later and after five messages and no return calls. I decided to leave and find new doctor. Last year I had skin cancer and I should not be over looked like this. It's completely disrespectful. I believe opening more locations and not having the correct people in place as hurt this practice. One last thing month ago on my visit the doctor wanted to do procedure the nurse came in after the doctor left. Then she said I would not do this procedure but it's not my practice so " I don't Care" I would stay away for here and find another doctor. Maybe after this review I might get call back. I feel that is very unlikely.
Pravin Patel: I would not recommend this office to anyone. I was new to the office. The physician never introduced herself to me neither she asked me any question and after 1minute of brief look at my skin gave me my diagnosis. Did not give me any explanation and left room quickly. Her clinical assistant had similar attitude. The front desk receptionist was nice.
Amanda Gill: TO BE CLEAR...I give this place ZERO stars!I went in early as requested by the office to fill out new patient paperwork, sat in the waiting room for almost an hour to finally be brought back to the office. Once in the office I waited for almost 40 minutes for the dr to come in. (Got there at 9am for 930 appt, wasn't seen till almost 11!)Like others have said she had one foot in the door and one foot out. She looked at my areas of concern just by glancing at them, took out some needles and started doing biopsies. Was told I will not get results until I did a return visit to remove stitches. She stated it looks like you have psoriasis and the biopsy is to make sure there was no bacteria (only mentioned psoriasis after she biopsied me ) And just like that she was gone out the door. She didn't give me any creams or anything!Fast forward to a day and half before my follow-up, I received a TEXT message saying my appointment was being cancelled and I should call the office to reschedule. I call the office and the scheduling staff stated the PA quit suddenly and they have no appointments available, and to call back and press option 2. Which I did...just like others the voicemail box was full and no one was answering at the office.I sent an email the following day after trying to call over and over again. I had stitches that needed to be removed and results from the biopsy were needed to get something to help with the areas. Finally some medical assistant called and stated she had my results that they were sitting on for over a week saying I have lupus! Not once did she tell me to come get my stitches removed nor has anyone called me since. That was over a week ago!I am so happy that my primary care Dr got me in quickly and began testing and treatments! This place is the worst place ever and had I known about yelp before hand I would have never had gone here!RUN RUN RUN far way from here! She is all about how many people she can get $$$$$$ from!!
Christie Meeks: My daughter was seen at the Cary office several weeks ago and had a few moles removed that was sent to pathology. Her follow up appointment is tomorrow (2/22) in Cary but I live in Charlotte and she is a student at ECU and is in Greenville. She is an hour away and I am two hours away. We have called several times over the last week trying to get her pathology report to see if her visit tomorrow is even necessary for us to drive all that way just to be told her results are benign. Nothing is in her portal and the only person you can get on the phone is the receptionist scheduling appointments. I asked her if I could speak to an office manager and she said she would have them call me right back. Based on the reviews for this practice, I am guessing I want be getting a phone call back! At this point we just want my daughter’s results and medical file….benign or not because we will be taking her dermatology needs elsewhere. It is a little ridiculous to not return medical calls or answer your phone and then the poor receptionist (who is the only one who answers) can’t get anyone to talk with you! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment elsewhere….you might have to wait for a couple of months to get an appointment but there is a reason this practice has immediate appointments. Read all these reviews! The reviews say it all!
Jackie H: My first appt.went ok. The PA and the nurse were great. On the other hand Dr. SOLOMON WAS IN MY EXAM ROOM ABOUT 3 MINUTES. I feel like she had no time to talk withme about my issues. My second visit was awful. I sat in the room for 1 hour and 15 mins. Had to stick my head out the door and ask if I was going to be seen.
Gurpreet Grewal: I would not recommend this dermatologist ever. I bought 3 + 3 (KTP with Peel) and 6 HQ for over $2000. After the treatment my skin the same with no change. I have noticed that there is a high rate of rotation in the staff and often you get new people to work and have to explain the situation again and again.
Shelly Streett: Booked an 830 am appointment for my daughter at the Preston location. We were still in the waiting room at 845 am with at least four other patients. I inquired as to how much longer it would be and the front desk woman looked behind her and said "the doctor just got here so it shouldn't be much longer." We were shown to a room at 850 am. We walked out of the office at 9 am without seeing the doctor. Can't speak about the quality of the practice but punctuality is lacking. Keep this in mind when you book your future appointments.
Blake Derrick: Finding new dermatologist at this point. My experience has been mixed for the last 2 years at best but today is the last straw. I confirmed my appt via their text system and had a voicemail confirmation to arrive 10 min early which i did. The office was closed when i arrived and they told me they canceled my appt. Recommend anyone looking to start somewhere else than Preston.
B K: Got appointment quickly due to a cancellation. But wasn’t happy with the treatment plan. I had a bad itching and rash for over 4 weeks and tried my doctor first before getting g to the dermatologist. But, Dr. Solomon just looked at the rash which was not as bad as a week before since I was prescribed steroid and was feeling better by the time I got to Dr. Solomon. But, I was asked to do a biopsy and was prescribed 2 ridiculously priced medications and 1 not so pricey. I didn’t realize that until I went to pick up. Didn’t get the pricey ones and waited until I went for my stitches to be removed and told another dr who saw me that the ointment was expensive. He prescribed another one which was not pricey but effective. Not going back there again as I didn’t feel comfortable at the reception also.
