John DeKemper: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueFLPM manages three ponds for us as well as our BMP system. They do an incredible job month in and month out. The staff are knowledgeable and very dependable. They have turned our failing BMPs into fully functional storm water control measures. Our cyanobacteria problem is in check and the pond water has never looked better.
Gray Sloop: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Allison Clark: Positive:Professionalism
Steve Davis: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe have had their help on our pond since we moved into our home. They are the best in the business. Our pond looked awful when we bought our property, now it is the envy of the entire area. We love it - thanks to the Foster Lake and Pond Management team.
Anthony Andres: On behalf of the Heritage Pines (Cary, NC) HOA, I would like to thank Wes and the Foster’s team for an outstanding job on the riser replacement project at one of our neighborhood ponds. Their recommendations helped us avoid a more extensive and costly project that had been advised by a competitor and we are very pleased with the result. They were easy to work with, timely, communicated extremely well and cleaned up as committed. There were no issues nor surprises, and that’s what you want in a large scale capital project.
Terri morris Morris: They were great, we ordered fish and they delivered, they were so nice, thank u
Anne Austin: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueAwesome people, we have been dealing with them since 1999. They are always helpful and knowledge. Brandon came out, and he took care of our grass issue in the pond this year. We are tickled with the price service and results! Thank y'all!
Debra Dale: Staff was very kind and helpful.
Chad Belteau: I have never had to write such a negative review but I feel people should know what they are going to experience. I contracted Foster Lake and Pond to rehabilitate a pond that was in need of a dig out and cleanout due to years of cattle access before I owned the property. The mission was to 1) Dig the pond deep enough so that plants and grass would not grow in the middle of the pond. 2) Create a pond that is maintainable. I am sad to say that after 7 months it was easy to see that neither goal was met as shown in the pictures. These are pictures 7 months after the completed job. After speaking with Foster Lake and Pond I was told that " This is not uncommon for plants/weeds to grow in deep or shallow water" and " sediment along the one edge could be removed but would not be dire". I asked if they felt the work they did was satisfactory and they felt it was. To come back out they were going to charge me thousands to clean up the edges. I also added 15 grass carp to try and clean up the grass in the middle but it got progressively worse as the water level was in some places was less than a foot deep. The final outcome was a pond that has unsightly vegetation in the middle and edges that can't be mowed because it is swampy around the majority of the pond.I now have contracted a different grader to redo the pond. I have learned a lot as I see what the new person is doing. He dug a channel and was able to drain the pond completely dry. Foster Lake and Pond were scooping out water and mud the entire time so they really weren't getting much out. The current channel is far deeper than the base Foster Lake and Pond dug out. The new contractor will stand by his work and guarantees a beautiful pond with no vegetation in the middle. He explained the pond will be easily maintainable and not a problem to mow around. I got 6 quotes for redoing the "Foster Lake and Pond" work and all of the other graders were astonished by the condition of the pond and what I was left with.UPDATE TO RESPONSE BELOW: I didn't mention the second pond or the field in the review but yes they are problematic and I did agree to try the second pond. The review and the pictures are of the main pond and you had already written that you thought the work was satisfactory. When the pond was complete I did think it looked good but at that point it had no water in it. It wasn't until it filled back up that it was obvious the pond was not in good shape. It is easy to see looking at the perimeter of the main pond and the grass growing from the center that it is not a maintainable pond.
Nathan Halsey: Great bunch of folks...
Dann Burns: Good people great service and I'll do all my pond needs with them.
T R: After having chronic sink hole development around the riser in our dry retention pond on our property, we had Foster Lake and Pond come out to fix the problem. They completely excavated the drain pipe and re-packed soil around it and re-built the corner of our pond at a cost of over $2500. But two years later a new hole had developed in the same spot; they grudgingly came out and poured bentonite and clay, and did not charge us to do this as they "wanted to keep me satisfied". However, one year later, we once again have a sink hole formed, and now they refuse to answer emails or phone calls.
Lin Honeycutt: Words cannot say enough about the excellence of Foster Pond Service. They have only treated my pond for 3 months and I can already tell a tremendous difference. Not only is there service excellent but they went far beyond the call of duty recently by helping me with a serious issue. I highly recommend their services!
casey taylor: Great group of folks!
Deanna Gardner: Great work
AnnMarie Summers: Great friendly people, if you need carp or any pond fish they got it .
Tony Wisdom 4 All: Foster Lake and Pond Management have good people! I had a pond emergency and one company wanted $250 for an estimate and another stood me up. Jay Salezan heard the desperation in my voice and came out on short notice. He explained the problem and the process needed to repair the issue. He gave me options for repair and I will soon get an estimate to permanently fix the problem. I could have hugged this guy because we love our pond and want to keep it. Very friendly and professional. These are my new pond folks!
eric collins: I had bladderworts covering a large area of my pond. Once treated, it significantly cleared in less than two weeks. Pond looks great again. The treatment even opened the spillway and improved water clarity. Very reasonable price for the pond size, and friendly customer service. I highly recommend Fosterlake pond management.
