When I picked up my tux at Crabtree location the shoes were never even cleaned.They looked like the Person before walked through mud and once again the bowtie was for a child (really small).Since this was for an event today I had to go all the way to the Wilmington st location the opposite way from my home to exchange the shoes.Once I got there and exchanged shoes I mentioned the bowtie and asked if I could get another one (this is the warehouse location)Simone told me that she was on lunch and to come back in 15-20 minutes.This tux rental was $275

Cody Charlton: Wonderful establishment, I felt welcomed when I first came in, despite any questions I had and uncertainties I came in with. I ordered a pair of pants back in April, for a wedding in November. As a few months passed I had to reach out to find the status of my pants, which had somehow fallen through the cracks, but Denise went the extra mile to find me in the system and get my order through ASAP! Although the location’s out of the way, this’ll be my go-to whenever I need a new suit. Thanks Denise!

I went in to get a vest and either a tie or bow tie to match my wife's dress in preparation for our daughter's Quenceanera. Denise was extremely helpful and went above and beyond looking for the right color to compliment my wife's dress. I will definitely be be using them in the future. Jennifer Grant: The suits were stunning but unfortunately the customer service received was absolutely horrendous. When my husband and son went to pick up the suits on the Thursday before the wedding a consultant by the name of Simone was rude making passive aggressive comments. The comments were to the point where my 6 year old felt that he had done something wrong and was horribly upset.Unfortunately this was not an isolated issue as when I spoke to the remainder of the wedding party, they all received poor customer service from this store.

No words can express about how I feel about this company one of my twins decided he wanted to go to the prom at last min I called everyone they either could not do it or wanted to charge a crazy price I called V.I.P explained the issue forgot to call back to get an appointment did a walk in they did everything to work with our next day time frame they was not mean or rude they are in the business of making ppl happy and making their day the level of service I got price did not matter at that point my son was happy and had a good time at prom again I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart you only get Prom once when your a Sr. and no one wants to live with regrets and you guys made sure that was not a factor for my son again I humbly thank you guys and when ever my boys are in need of a Tux or anyone I know I will make sure they come to you ❤️

Rebecca Paradis: Terrible experience with a kid tux rental. The right sizing clip on the pants wouldn’t stay closed but we didn’t realize until after we were getting dressed. We were able to workaround this issue so this is not the full reason for the one star.The biggest problem was the way the shirt was made. The button holes on the shirt were too large for not only the lower buttons but also for the studs that were provided. This was a huge annoyance cause we had to constantly re-button the shirt that kept opening.
Michelle Jones: We arrived Thursday from NJ for a family wedding. Greeted by the lovely Danita sorry if I am misspelling her name. But despite a busy store she maintained control and was so professional and pleasant. My teen grew over night and they had to let out his suit. We returned the next to be greeted by George another amazing salesperson. So helpful and personableThe suit fit perfect. I was very impressed with this location. Definitely a different experience than the store in NJ.

L A: I rarely post reviews, but with the terrible customer service my fiance and best man experienced this afternoon, I feel that I need to. My fiance and his best man did not have an appointment but the store was empty. They asked to try on suits for our wedding, came prepared with the colors, etc. and they were given a run around...apparently they want you to "lock in" that you will be purchasing from Men's Warehouse before they will even let you try something on (WHAT?! How would they even know they would go with them if they have not even tried a single one of their suits on?!).Way to get customers... our wedding planner (and many of my friends) warned us about Men's Warehouse for wedding attire, and now we know. We are going with GenTux, as there is no hassle and no rude employees who shew you off because they want to go home for the day!!
Halley Ward: Go see George! He was the absolute best! We went in needing to sort out all kinds of details for my groom’s suit and his groomsmen. The wedding is super soon and he was so, so patient with our questions. We stayed over an hour - maybe two - and he juggled us and other customers seamlessly. Hands down recommend the Brier Creek location. Especially George! Posting photos of us trying out aaaallllll the options to find the perfect look. ;)
Esther: Yesterday, I went with my husband to the Men Wearhouse in Brier Creek. We were looking for a formal coat to wear with a suit jacket. Upon entering we were greeted, and we saw one of the vendors with the measuring tape measuring a customer. He himself approached us and asked how he could help us. I explained it to him, and he told me that he had none of that. I pointed to a rack where three coats of different styles were hanging, but the salesman didn't even bother to show them to us. He recommended that I go to Kohl’s. Then I asked him to help me with the shirts, but he told me to look for them in Kohl’s as well. I was stumped. My husband and I left the store and exchanged how we perceived the seller's reaction and we both agreed that we felt discriminated against. I am Spanish and my husband is Hindu. I wanted to go back to confront the vendor, but my husband requested me to let it go and move on. Finally, we went to Macy's and spent a good amount of money there, happy to receive excellent service and finding what we were looking for without feeling discriminated against.
Paul Gauger: Reached out to this store after reading poor reviews for the Triangle Town Center location. I was connected with Ryan and set up time to meet with him to help me with my wedding tux and get our group all setup. He was extremely professional and patient throughout the entire process. We ended up going with a custom tux instead of the rental, which I would highly recommend if you are the groom. Everything turned out perfect. This location gets very busy at peak times. If you're able to go in during a weekday instead of the weekend, I'd recommend. That way you'll receive uninterrupted service. Ask for Ryan though!The only part of using MW that I wasn't too thrilled about was the quality of the tailoring. The gentleman that does the tailoring at this location is rather unfriendly, too. Yes, they're free, but I expected a little better than this. I ended up having to go to my normal tailor to have her fix my pants just a couple days before my wedding, because the waist was done so poorly.

Chase: Walked in asked about a suit that was on sale for Black Friday, mostly just a starting place. They didn’t have it which was fine, but Cary did. Proceeded to tell them I just need a suit for Saturday hoping to get some help and move on. I was then given this whole spiel about how to go to Cary and try it on then order it etc etc. Again repeated I just need a suit for this Saturday blatantly saying “please take my money and help me”, this salesman just would not show me suits and continued to “sell” me on going to the Cary store. I was visibly frustrated and at that point flabbergasted. I just don’t know how else to say “take my money”. Really bizarre experience, how do they stay open as a business?!? I’ll never come back here. I also think this gentleman was the manager.
K L: We were in the store when a salesman came from the back with a cup of coffee, walked to the dressing room and returned to a customer. I thought maybe it's something new and he's getting it for the customer. Nope. It it was his coffee which he continued to drink in front of the customers. Josh Haseltine: Israel was extremely helpful and made the process extremely easy and quick. He answered all my questions and walked me through making sure everything fit perfectly. Highly recommend.
Brandon Michael Prettyman: Having outgrown my old suits, I ordered a new suit from a different company, but it unfortunately won't be finished on time for my event. So, I turned to the Black Tux for a simple navy suit rental. The suit arrived on time through the mail to my home. After opening the box I was greatly disappointed. The suit fabric was shockingly thin. If you held the seat of the pants up to the light you could see through it. The jacket was scratchy, worn and wrinkled. I tried on the suit and the fit was astoundingly bad. The shoulders were too wide, the jacket overly large, the arms too long, the pants baggy. It was like wearing an oversized, worn-out suit you found at a thrift store. Seeing what had been sent I had zero faith in The Black Tux's ability to provide a suitable replacement, so I called them to return the items and issue a refund. The support team was helpful. First they told me I would only receive store credit. After informing them that there was no possibility I would ever shop at The Black Tux again, they told me they could refund the order, but I would have to pay $40 in shipping. I let them know that was an unreasonable amount for shipping, and they decided to fully refund my order. I will be shipping the suit and jacket back to them, and hopefully this is the last time I encounter The Black Tux. The shipping was on time, the support staff was helpful, but with the items that The Black Tux is sending to customers, I am frankly surprised that they remain in business. I am now in a time crunch to find a suit for the event, but whatever I end up with, at least it won't be The Black Tux.

Lucas Perez: I had a really great experience getting fitted for a tuxedo when I visited The Black Tux at Nordstrom. The team members were very helpful and knowledgeable. Also, now that I have been fitted, I feel much more confident in my sizing and ordering a tux that will fit perfect for my event. I highly recommend The Black Tux and this service. Best of all, the appointment is free!
Sterling (SterMJ210.ETH): Da'rrell was phenomenal to work with. The previous poor reviews on Google almost disuaded me from going, but I'm glad I did. I've never worn a tuxedo before, so I needed all the help I could get, and Da'rrell exceeded my expectations. This gentleman knows what he's talking about in regards to styling and fitting of formal attire. He made this process so easy for me. Highly recommend
Marvin and Daniela: This was hands down the worst experience we have ever had in a store and or for a fitting. What was supposed to be a special time to get fitted for our wedding turned out to be a brutal lesson in futility and we ultimately did not end up completing the fitting. To start we were running late and I called and spoke to the manager and told her I would be there in 6 or 7 minutes and if that was still ok to which she replied it is not a problem you have an hour long session. When we arrived the only associate that does their fittings was rude and dismissive and told us that he had cancelled our appointment and there was nothing that he could do. When pressed he said he had another appointment in 20 minutes and walked away. This was a lie as his manager told us on the phone and again when we spoke with her afterwards that we indeed did have an hour long appointment. Since we were at Nordstrom's we expressed our frustration and wish to get fitted and we sat there for almost half an hour while they searched for the black tux employee who does their fittings. When he finally came back his attitude was worse and he was combative at the least. He told us again the reasons why he could not help us and then said with attitude that he would measure me but that we would not have time to try anything on. At this point I wanted nothing to do with him and told him that if he had helped us from the beginning given we had already been here for well over 30 minutes that we could have been done and out the door. He then proceeded to yell at us and when we asked for his manager he told us to get her ourselves to which we did. Ultimately, given the poor experience we would never do business with The Black Tux and frankly can't believe that a store like Nordstrom's that prides itself with great service would even allow for a company of this caliber to operate within its walls.
Ashley Ricks: My fiancé and I went to this location to get sized for a tux for our wedding day. This experience was absolutely horrible. The store was very disorganized. We had no idea where to go for our appointment. We were told ahead of time to bring the emails of the groomsmen, but when we arrived, they didn’t do anything with the emails. When I asked about the groomsmen, the consultant said “they need to get sized at a nice department store, such as Saks Fifth Ave. They shouldn’t go to Jos A Banks, or they will look like trash.” How unprofessional to trash a competitor with a customer! The groomsmen also live in areas with no Saks Fifth Ave, since they don’t all live in a big city. The consultant’s sizing of my fiancé was way off. My poor fiancé was practically choking in the shirt that was too small for him, but the consultant said “this is how the tux should fit.” My fiancé should not be uncomfortable and choking on his wedding day! They didn’t even show us the tux options, which is what was advertised to us when we booked the appointment.
Rebecca Everett Susko: We were traveling on our spring break and we were excited to see there was a Black Tux location we could visit and try on our planned rental. I’m so thankful we were able to go in and get real measurements for a tux which will fit perfectly for Prom. The whole experience was great. It wasn’t just about finding the perfect tux or suit. The men there helped us navigate a whole new process and truly helped renew my nephews confidence. He left there more confident and truly glowing. We are seriously grateful and the excursion for us was more then worth it! Thank you to the black tux team!

Amber R: This was my very first appointment to try on wedding dresses. I was contacted days ahead of my appointment to get an idea of what I may be looking for. On the day of, walking in, we were greeted immediately and my consultant, Ajia showed us to a couch. She took down some notes on what I was looking for (I didn’t have a lot of ideas ), let us browse for a few minutes and make some possible picks and she found some options based on my thoughts. She was very professional and continued to pull dresses as we started to hone in on what looked good on me. After 6 or 7 dresses, we found the perfect dress! I had happy tears as soon as she added the veil. Did not think that would happen! After another appointment later in the afternoon that was not as pleasant, we came back to Savvi. The manager immediately recognized me when we came in and Ajia as well as other consultants celebrated with me saying yes to the dress! I felt so special and well taken care of. I would recommend Savvi to any bride because they answer your questions and give you the best experience possible!Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Jordan Light: I had been waiting for a dress to go in stock for months and I was lucky enough to find the exact dress under google images related images and it brought me to Savi bridal. However, I live 4 hours away from this store. I messaged them and they contacted the designer and were able to ship me the dress of my dreams to Tennessee for my elopement. Shipping was incredibly fast, maybe 2-3 days? A girl named Callie helped me and got everything worked out for me and she was wonderful! So so sweet and customer service was a 10/10.

I had some concerns going in because I’m above average height and weight, but Caroline took care of me ❤️ She listened to all of my ideas for my wedding vision, and knew exactly what I wanted. She made sure to make my parents feel involved in the whole dress shopping experience too. Alexa Garner: a&bé was the first and last bridal shop I visited because it's where I found my dress! It was such a welcoming environment and made the dress shopping experience everything I'd hoped for. Ashley was my stylist and I seriously couldn't recommend her enough!! She made me feel comfortable, listened to, and kept the appointment upbeat and joyful. It felt like I was being guided through the journey by a caring friend and not someone rushing or just checking things off for their job. Additionally, a&bé has so many beautiful dresses to choose from that you're bound to find something you like! I definitely highly recommend the shop!!

Madison Parker: The entire team was so thoughtful throughout the process from response time, pre-appointment call, try on process and the pickup appointment. The gals were all so nice and made the experience a breeze. I even got a sweet thank you note in the mail from my fitting stylist -- my fiance put it on our fridge as a reminder of how special the process was during a sometimes overwhelming process of planning a wedding.

She was also extremely kind and went above and beyond after I needed some assistance shortly after my order was placed. Many businesses lack that emotional intelligence and heart these days, but a&be bridal is not one of them! Highly recommend.

Nate Miller: Best place to rent or buy your Tux's! I first rented a tux from Bernards and had a great experience. When it came time to rent another, I decided to buy one instead. I worked with Keith and he was unbelievably helpful. I highly recommend going with Bernards if you want a Tux that looks good and fits perfect.

Alan Christopher: I originally went in looking to buy a suit. The owner was very helpful in getting me measured and going through the options with me. When it turned out the suit I wanted wouldn’t be available before my deadline (COVID-related shipping delays), they were able to set me up with a rental no problem. When I came in to get it everything was ready to go for me, all I had to do was try it on. Amy was also great helping me choose a tie. Overall a very stress-free errand with professional and attentive service. Would definitely go to them again!

Fast and simple alterations to my tuxedo were made so that it fit better, the staff was helpful and certainly made me feel at home. I'd LOVE if there was a way to submit credit card info with the size form in the future, as it makes things easier from out of state.
