Best Endodontist Cary Near Me

Ann Hallgren: Beware of this practice. While they appear very professional and I have no complaints about their dental work, they purposely scam patients into paying out of pocket for what should be covered by insurance. I had previously had a root canal done in 2020 by this office, when they were in-network with my insurance company, and had a good experience. The procedure was fully covered as expected. On January 3, 2023 I called to see about a possible root canal on a non-emergent issue. My tooth was achy and cold sensitive ever since a crown was placed 6 months previous and it seemed like enough time had passed to ensure this was not going to change. They informed me they had multiple openings in the next couple days (which probably should have been a warning sign) and could get me in two days later. I asked if insurance benefits were still the same and they told me that they were no longer in-network. However, they reassured me that I did not need to worry, they had many patients from my husband's employer and could assure me that the only difference in insurance coverage would be that I would need to pay them the total amount upfront, they would submit the insurance paperwork, and I would receive a check directly from the insurance company. I asked follow up questions that this would not affect my benefits, just the way the insurance payment was received, and was reassured. At the office, I signed paperwork for the whole amount, and again was reassured that this would be reimbursed by a check from the insurance company, just like when we were in-network in 2020. Two weeks my insurance explanation of benefits arrived saying I will receive only 30% coverage of a multi thousand dollar bill. When I called this practice back I was told that they were upfront about my true costs because I signed a bill for what was my portion (even though that bill was for the whole amount, not the 70% that would have been my portion after out of network insurance), even though throughout the process they repeatedly assured me this was covered in the same full amount as my 2020 in-network visit. When I asked why I would book with them instead of an in-network endodontics practice, they told me there was none nearby (in reality there are 6 in a 10 mile radius). Again, no complaints about their dental work, but please be aware that they want to charge higher out of network prices, but also want as many clients as possible, and they do not care how much it costs you when they lie about your coverage. Please be less trusting then me and do your own careful investigative work and maybe consider supporting a more an office with more ethical business practices.

Bimmerland: They filled a tooth with 2 fillings then told me that the same tooth had to be removed and charged me $755 for work that should not have been done on a tooth that they stated had to be removed anyway since root canal was out of the question. Not good busines..Rebuttal:Even High House Oral Surgery questioned the procedure of working on a tooth that was going to be removed. Unnecessary procedure.

Jeff Heller: Dr. Windley was incredibly good- I have had a root canal before, and was not a great experience. This was basically painless, Dr. Windley is very adroit, dexterous and skilled. Cannot recommend this dentist highly enough, especially having a root canal done by a less skilled dentist.

Katie Gannon: If you are reading this review to decide if you should visit Dr. Windley and his office, my advice is, do it! I had a terrible issue with my back teeth starting in 2020. The office my former dentist sent me to was a nightmare. They were unable to numb my mouth, and after sending me away in tears from the pain I endured, I was told extraction was the only option.Fast forward, after finding Dr. Windley (Thank you Tryon Family Dentistry), I had no problems with numbing. He was able to save my tooth from dying, and was able to treat my pain. I am so thankful to have found this office.This is where he went above and beyond. I told him about pain I had been experiencing for over a decade in the back of my mouth. I have moved around a lot and have always told others of this pain. Other dentists, endodontists, and oral surgeons had told me the pain could not be as I described because the tooth had a root canal a decade ago and a crown. I was basically told that I was imagining the pain. Dr. Windley believed me, and found the source of my pain. When he did the procedure he found an infected root that was left behind from the old root canal. He treated the area and for the first time in years I do not have any pain in this area. I cannot describe how amazing this is.I am so thankful to have found this practice. Everyone is super nice and the office feels clean and newer. (If that makes sense. I’ve been to offices before where the equipment seems to be from the 80s.) However, even if it weren’t nice I would go back because of Dr. Windley.

Addie Paddie: I have had the best experience ever at this facility. Dr. Windley and his staff are always kind and understanding. It honestly makes me sad that I can only see them for endo treatment. If you are in need of a root canal then I highly recommend this office.

He was very honest in that if I treated the tooth (repeat root canal) likely it would fail in time. He was very honest and upfront— didn’t want me to waste my money when the end result would likely be an implant anyway. Appreciate his honesty!! On to another implant unfortunately. 😥. Highly recommend him!

Ingrid Hackshaw: Yesterday the 5th ofJuly I went to get a root canal with Dr. Windley, what a disappointment I received from him when I told him about my condition that I have COPD, and I cannot be flat on the chair because of a chronic cough that I have, and also that my cough can be triggered with just a little of water and I can even shock, so I asked him to please if he can raise the chair a little since I can't be flat and he answered with a very firm voice that he cannot work that way and that I need to be in that position, so I said can I have a pillow and he responde the chair has a pillow meaning the head rest one, so I answered him what if I get the cought and I'm shocking and he said well you can not sit up, you need to cough lying down since he needs to put some microscopic machine in front of my face, and he said if you sit up to cough you will hurt yourself but I said to him I will raise my hand so you can stop and slide the microscopic devise from in front my face so he said nothing meaning NO, I really started to feel very nervous of the situation that this doctor didn't care about keeping me comfortable to my nèeds and that he only care about himself, feeling this way I just got up from the chair and said sorry I can not do this if you are not willing to help or work with me, so I just got up and left. Dr. Windley is very rude and sarcastic not willing to help you if you have special needs like mine and I also was charged $148 which I paid and also they charged my insurance but refundable when they get the check from insurance but why charged me? And for an exam that I never had the only thing he did is look and tap the tooth that needed to have the root canal. Also be aware when signing all the consents in the front desk, since I saw one of them that the front desk lady was trying to somehow hide from me and I said what is that $700 and something dollars charge in that sheet is for? Besides the one I had to pay for the treatment in a different sheet and she answered, is something to do if the doctor cannot help with the root canal because is to deep or something like that he will just leave it like that, so I said I will pay that amount and I will leave here with no treatment and something that is not even cover by the insurance? And she said yes, so i said I'm not going to pay that amount of money and leave just how I came in sorry!! then she responded that ussually never happens, sure by it can happen to me. I was so dissapointed and so mad that I wasted my time to find a doctor who treat me like this. I was never treated by any dentist and fell so stressed and nervous like I felt here.

John Hammond: I took a spill several years ago in which I damaged several front teeth. As my dentist predicted, years later I started to have pain in those teeth. He referred me to Cary Endodontics.When I contacted Cary Endodontics, their staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The transfer of x-rays and pertinent dental history between my dentist and Cary Endodontics was seamless. Dr. Windley did a great job evaluating my case and treating me. Cary Endodontics was able to fit me into their schedule to perform a root canal that was overdue and the procedure went very well. If and when I need this level of detailed work done, going back to Cary Endodontics would be an easy call.

He warned about possible outcomes and was kind enough to see me when I had some residual pain. For the first time in many years, the tooth is not bothersome and not causing pain. What a relief. The difference between the root canal with Dr Campbell and previous experiences with primary dentists is remarkable based on the precision he is able to provide using an operating microscope and advanced technologies. Jakayla Johnakin: When I first called to schedule my appointment for my root canal, I asked if my insurance was on file because I was referred to them by my Dentist, they said yes. I get there today, Dr Lee explained to me how everything will go, and numbed me. A couple minutes later, Jennifer told me that my procedure would be $1,745.00 and I asked was that with my insurance? She then told me that they were out of network and I’d have to pay out of pocket and my insurance will “reimburse me” in a few weeks. I didn’t feel comfortable with that because I felt they should have told me they were “out of network” before I was numbed, and also because they told me on the phone that my insurance was on file! They should have told me this when I first walked in the door. Nice people, but I felt played. I walked out numb with nothing done. 🤦🏾‍♀️

G W: Right before going on vacation I was having significant pain in one of my molars. My dentist called Crabtree Endodontics to see if they could squeeze me in. Dr. Isaac Lee stayed late along with his assistant Rachel to perform a root canal. This team did a phenomenal job. They both communicated exacting details on the procedure (it was my first root canal). Dr. Lee's skills performing the root canal were superb. Katie C: After two consecutive horrible experiences at other practices I was even more nervous than I imagine is typical when scheduling a root canal at Cary Endodontics, but they exceeded expectations and went above and beyond to solve my problem when it was not at all their fault. They handled a chaotic scheduling process with an upset potential patient professionally and got me in the next morning, which was incredible given that the other places I had tried wanted me to wait 1-3+ weeks for an appointment when I could not sleep or eat due to tooth pain. With my anxiety I am sure I was a pain to work with (pun intended), but everyone there was kind, and I can tell that Dr. Reynolds is extremely good at what he does. It was more expensive and a further drive for me but both of those things were completely worth it. I wish I had gone here from the start and will certainly do so if I ever need a similar treatment (hopefully not!). If you need a root canal please do not even consider going anywhere else. I am extremely fortunate to have found this practice when I needed it and very grateful to the entire team.

Only took 45 min . Everything was explained and pictures were shown of my dead tissue inside my tooth that was causing pain . Everyone professional and friendly . Three weeks later, I had major tooth pain and called Triangle Endodotics as directed by my dentist. They had me in by 11am the next morning to relieve the pain. The temporary fix was a god send and I was scheduled for a root canal in two weeks.best possible experience you could ask for in regards to a root canal. From checking in until I left everybody was incredibly nice, and Kat was an absolute pleasure to talk to. 10/10Dentist Sam was very informative of the procedure and was very pleasant to deal with, as were all the staff members.I highly recommend Triangle Endodontist and, should the need ever come again, will return.

Jack Bills: Dr. Safedi is my hero. I heartily recommend this practice. Exceptional dental experience! The office manager and receptionist are polite and professional. Dr. Safedi is a very experienced doctor that cares about the patient. He performed a painless root canal procedure on me. Highly recommend for family. He tried to save my tooth which was in a really bad condition and I hope he succeeded. Doctor Safedi has golden hands, the entire procedure went smoothly and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. I highly recommend Dr.safedi, He is a very professional , dedicated and compassionate doctor. Also, I want to say thank you Office Manager who helped me very quickly with the appointment. The office is exceptionally modern, clean and the entire team is very friendly.

Robert Smith: Dr. Safadi provided the best dental experience I've ever had along with the person assisting during the root canals. Felt extremely comfortable and safe at the office. I still have and use the little sanitizer bottle provided. In the event I need to see an endodontist again, this will be my go to. Worth the travel from Clayton for the anxiety relief provided. Can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr Safadi and Specialist Cat. Everyone on the team is fantastic to talk to and helpful but they really made me comfortable with my stress leading up to my root canal. I had a traditional root canal and I had no pain whatsoever and did not choke on the cleaning solution (which was an experience I had from a previous root canal in a different office).

Sam Naas: I went to my regular dentist to get a few cavities filled then after both sides of my mouth were numb and some drilling ensued I was notified that I would need a root canal and so the dental hygienist called around town to see who could take me on a Thursday at noon and luckily this office could squeeze me in. I definitely was a little nervous because I have never had a root canal before and family members have told me about their horrors in the past but this was NOTHING to be afraid of. Dr Safadi and his staff were nothing but super welcoming and professional. Dr. Safadi himself was very gentle and continuously made sure that I wasn’t in pain during the procedure and when I did feel discomfort he was quick to stop and give me another shot, I couldn’t recommend this Dr enough!! Best dentist ever! No pain!

I contacted them several times since December and now it’s February I still haven’t received their call back. For root canal for only one of my teeth I paid over $1200 (out of pocket) even with insurance. Never had a chance to communicate with them about my overpayment.
