MJ Worldwide: I’ve been attending Blue Moon Estate Sales for more than a year. These sales are all organized and well staffed. This is my favorite estate sale vendor for value and organization. I will say, some sale managers are more reasonable than others. I’ve even had an instance where I was told one price, then I asked another customer to inquire and she was given a lesser price. Buying in the estate sale market can be stressful but that is part of the experience. The amount of money I’ve saved is worth the headache of the arbitrary pricing that is part reselling market. I will continue to shop with Blue Moon.

They did offer a return with a very narrow window, but it is not possible for me. It's a shame because I sell many items and if I misrepresent something it is up to me to fix the issue, not put it on the buyer.

Things should be priced out prior to the sale. I tend to find the prices not all that great especially considering the estate sales are rarely that good. Kevin Birkmayer: There is a nationwide gas shortage that was unknown at the time of bidding. Exceptions for pick up at a later date was not made to accommodate this force majeure. Be ware of who you are buying through. I will not make the same mistake again, "auction" companies are a dime a dozen.

It is such a terrible time for anyone who has lost a loved one and at least for me the sale itself is not nearly as important as the company treating her things with respect. It's the last physical thing I had of my sisters and they get that and get that they are representing the departed one as she is no longer here. They also have done this so much they know how to deal with difficult neighbors in a very professional manner. They are super organized and know how to stage things to make them appealing. I could not believe how fast they were able to set everything up and price it. I did NOTHING to prepare except get out the personal things and then I didn't even do that very well as Amanda found many personal things I had forgotten and set them all aside for me. In addition, I did not go through all the Christmas things or some boxes in the garage bc I was just emotionally and physically drained. Amanda took photos of all the stuff in the garage boxes and allowed us the opportunity to choose what we wanted. Most impressive of all was Amanda made each of my sisters kids a ziploc of Christmas ornaments as many were personalized and she knew one day they would predicate having them as grew up with those ornaments. I mean hat kid of person does that? Someone who CARES about people! I thank God every day I was steered in their direction. A very painful experience done professionally and with love.
