Symone Perry: To: IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING APPLYING PLEASE NOTE***While visiting my mom in NC, we were at the mall where we over heard a lady speaking about how they had to grade some students Finals, however, they did not have a lot of time. This woman spoke very poorly about her job and not caring about her students grades, if they passed or failed. While only hearing bits and pieces of what she said. I heard enough, while sitting there I heard what school she was referring to, I looked it up, only to find out this is a LAW school. This incident was very disheartening, as someone (or many) people could been affected, or have failed just because she didn't feel like grading tests'. Calling to speak to David, I think his name was, pretty much said there is nothing he can do because I didn't take a picture of the lady. My response to him was, "so someone could have failed just because this teacher did not feel like grading?" he stated, "yes, unfortunately".I did not hire this teacher why should I have to have a picture if I advised the school of what me and my mom overheard? This School does not care if they're students pass or fail. I would not recommend.
Brandon Fisher: Spent 3 of my best years in these sacred walls. Graduated and passed the bar the first time because of the incredible teaching and guidance of the professors and staff. To be surrounded by black excellence in the legal profession is an experience I will not forget.
Chandler Bryant: I can’t believe I haven’t thought to leave a review earlier. I graduated in 2019, and I absolutely loved my experience here. The professors really care about their students, and my classmates... Well, they felt more like family than classmates. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 would do law school here all over again.
Ann Vaughn: NCCU School of Law is an HBCU, it is a great law school located in Durham, NC.
Portia Johnson: An amazing BLACK law school. I graduate in May. 🎉
Sam Greenlee: Great Law School........but they need to give staff salary increases. Maybe with that 5 million donation from Intel, it will happen.
Polycarp Omollo: The best and only black law school in North Carolina. Here teaching of law is presented from the the universal as well as the black community point of view. Excellent teaching.
Jeff Stephens: went here to vote although none of the bathrooms have any kind of water and they are very very untidy
Mike D: Great school
Chazz Coleman: Ivy League all the way around.
Renay S.: Deserves every star!
Counsellor 2017: Best value for your dollar in education. All of the faculty members have been more than helpful and education has been top notch. When considering a school look at the student to teacher ratio and first time pass rates. NCCU Law is a true winner.

Dorothy Hardin: Wonderful law school, everything they do is with professionalism and great quality
Dr. Pamela J. Strickland, CPA: State of the art facility. Beautifully decorated.
Pavel Rovelo: Sólo la miré por fuera
Charlie Gray: In my final year here. I have gotten a great education and feel very confident in passing the bar. But the communication at the school is pretty bad.The administration will wait until the day before to tell us about important meetings and expect us to drop everything and be there.Back in my first year, they told the students a class met at one time but told the teachers it met several hours later. So, we all got there and sat and left hen no one showed up. Hours later the dean was running around looking for us in the library telling us our class time had been moved. They didn’t tell us where our assigned parking was until the day before classes started. May not sound like a big deal, but parking in downtown is crazy so planning ahead is nice.My class had a teacher for an important class who was clueless and very unorganized. A dozen or so students complained to administration throughout the semester, but nothing was done. They ended up just passing everyone, but the reality is we don’t have a great grasp of that class’ material. The school never explained themselves for not doing anything to improve our class. When co fronted about it, they suggested we take our time to sit through the class again with a different teacher. They also suggested just rely on the bar review class we take to prepare us on that material.Overall, great school and I’ve been happy. But communication needs to improve and it would be nice to see them take responsibility for their mistakes once in awhile.
Omar Bash: This is not well - organized law school admission whatsoever. I applied and the application still in review for over 11 weeks. Thus, anyone would realize how poor this admission is!.I applied for over 15 law school, the latest one i heard from was 6 weeks. No further comment.
Allen Woodcock: Very hard, but I would recommend this school over any others in North Carolina, especially if you are going to practice in North Carolina...
Reviews andmore: there grads have a 17% unemployment rate. Only 50% of their grads have a job as a lawyer full time after graduation. Six figure debt load and no way to pay it back...to high a price for that cool little "Esq. " on the letter-head. Go to JDunderground, or Top Law Schools Forum and just search the name and you will see the truth. This place opened in the heyday of lawyering and has been coasting on early grads ever since.
Taylor Gardner: Going into my last year now and it's been an incredible educational experience at a stunning facility and under the supervision of highly-qualified professors and attorneys. The resources extended to students were vast in range but all high in quality. With bar exam pass rates consistently in the top 3 statewide, I'm confident in my education.
Yoselin Ledezma: Great school and they are so nice
