Jim Hallenbeck: I met Eric Johnson about 8 years ago when he trained at Core Results. In my 60s while working with Eric (after never weight training) I have achieved a 285 back squat and 310 lb deadlift - his skill and expertise is unmatched. In October 2022 I fractured 5 ribs playing softball and we reconnected when Eric became co-owner of Sports HQ. We’re ramping up but most important is the improvement in my physical health.I have lost 16 pounds this year. I received an excellent report on my annual physical in April including my best ever HDL/LDL scores. Eric is the absolute best and just a good person to boot. We set realistic goals and work hard to achieve them. Eric is also very knowledgeable regarding nutrition. I’m very fortunate to have met Eric and I look forward to get stronger and healthy physically and mentally. Thank you Eric!

Ben Smith: The General Manager of Sport HQ is incredible. I just had my kids at their camp, and they thoroughly enjoyed their time. I would highly recommend this facility for sports training, and school camps.

Ryan Stone: I’m not sure I can articulate properly how wonderful my experience has been with Eric and his company. I set out on my health/fitness journey about a year ago and struggled to find the right fit for me. A good friend of mine recommended Eric to me and I couldn’t be happier. His professionalism and kindness is hard to come by these days. He has motivated me beyond belief to push myself to be the best version I can be. His ability to work with you, your setbacks and strengths is incredible. In the last 3 months the transformation I have had has been amazing and it’s more of a sustainable life style change then a quick weight loss journey. He guides me threw my workouts, makes nutrition recommendations based on my training. Eric also texts me every day to check in and give me my workout plan for the days we don’t train together. I can’t say enough good things about him and his organizations and feel anyone would be lucky to work with him!
Richa Roy: Initially we had a hard time to find the place though the arena and equipment are good and my kid enjoys it there.

Vickie Daniel: I love working out with Eric. I had surgery on my foot and could not do regular exercise classes. He was able to work around my foot pain, and still get my heart rate up to where I felt like I had worked out. The workouts are never the same, lots of variety. Working out with Eric has helped me keep my weight from going up with the limited mobility problem with m my foot. I would highly recommend him. I also feel I have gotten stronger. He gently pushes me to do things I would not do on my own. Eric is also very knowledgeable about nutrition and sleep. He has helped me with those too. I would say exercising with Eric would be a great choice.
Jorge Ortega: Fair price, small fields, they are more 5v5 adult maybe 6v6 but tight, use a futsal ball for better play on this field. Staff has always been cordial
Kelly Johnson: Eric Johnson is the best trainer in the Cary and Raleigh area!! He is professional, friendly, dedicated to helping others and a great people person. His workouts are both fun and challenging, which I like! He customizes workouts to individual needs and desires to what body parts they would like to target and work on. I would DEFINITELY recommend Eric if you are looking for a personal trainer!!
N J: Eric Johnson is an amazing personal trainer! He is very patient, knowledgeable, friendly, kind hearted, very personable and such a pleasure to work with! He does a great job at personalizing his workouts for each of his clients and also provides modifications if needed! The BEST personal trainer in Cary and Raleigh! I highly recommend him!
Paul Zen: Poorly run facility. Recommend new general manager because the current one is not concerned about customer service. His staff is nice but just poorly managed. We tried to schedule events with this facility and they either don’t follow up with you or sting you along for days.

Josh Kinlaw: I played basketball here a couple of times. Floors were clean and the owner was nice. The only downside is that the base of the basketball goal sits on the floor which gets in the way when driving hard to the hoop. I tripped over them a couple of times.

Mark Brennan: My son played 2 seasons of flag football, and that was enough to know i9 is not the right league. The most problematic issue we had was the unfair teams, which do nothing to foster sportsmanship or develop confidence in young athletes.Members are allowed to pick their teams, so you'll have entire teams that know each other, have been playing together under the same coaches for years, and are all the same age, and they're pitted up against teams of varying age players who don't know each other, or their coaches. Not only does it make the competition extremely lopsided, it presents an injury risk because you have a team of older players playing against mixed ages, including youngest ages.When I brought this up to the administrators, they basically laughed it off and said it's more fun for the teams that know each other and win, the way they have it set up. But my son broke his foot that day, and one of the girls got a concussion from an overagressive older boy on a team that already had the game in the bag, so it isn't that they think I'm wrong, it's that they just don't care. Sportsmanship is important to them, but only on the losing and disadvantaged teams. Stacked teams must be paying the bills for i9 🤷♂️

Charles Fleming: Great park, love taking in games there. You can sit in the stadium area or alongside the left field on the grass. The field is beautifully well kept.
