A Preferred Women's Health Center of Raleigh: what do users think?
Dink Dink: This place sorry as heck. They employees slow. The employee mess up and they try to blame you . I wouldn’t recommend this place find somewhere else to go . They just money hungry. Customer service terrible too!
Amor Prime: This clinic gave me a SAFE place to make a INFORMED choice without any bias or judgement. Everyone was kind and professional and because of that and because of how these places are in danger of disappearing I automatically gave them 5 stars. The overall visit went better then expected, the best part was actually seeing the ultrasound technician, I can't remember her name but it was on May 23rd and she was amazing for two reasons. 1) I was very early on less then 6weeks so to actually be able to see the pregnancy she couldn't do it the normal on the belly she had to use the wand, tmi but that can be extremely uncomfortable and you're in a vulnerable situation on top of another vulnerable situation and I've had plenty of negative paps/ similar situations to really appreciate how "comfortable" she made that situation for me 2) The whole clinic was a safe place without judgement but during the ultrasound was even more so. The ultrasound technician was very professional and she explained everything she was going to do but she was also extremely nice and we actually had a really nice conversations about our kids and books and movies and the fact that we could have that conversation during the type of visit I was having was what made everything easier. And I say that because when I found out I was pregnant with my son the woman "taking care" of me gave me a completely different experience (This was at a regular Health Department years ago and a completely different location) but for some reason that person actually made me feel bad for wanting to have him because of her own beliefs and made me feel like I was doing wrong by him for choosing to keep him and I include that because I have had quite a few very negative experiences and they can be mentally damaging but under NO circumstance should you stay at any place that is supposed to be providing health care that makes you feel bad. The only actual issue I had with my appointment was from the initial phone call to set the appointment. That is because the people who set your appointments are not actually at the clinic. The person I originally talked to said for my appointment (just getting the pill version) should only take 1-2 hours and I was there closer to 4hrs. That normally wouldn't be too horrible except you're not allowed to have your phone. They do play movies but there's also no clocks in any of the waiting rooms. Oh and in the lobby upfront they do have a vending machine for snacks but not one for drinks but they can get you a little cup for water.
Adit Chitale: Giving a good review because it’s not a fake abortion place.
Kameryn wilson: Some feedback that I’d give to this center is if a person has a certain appointment time, then they be seen at the time or least close to that time. For anyone going I’d say go in a little earlier than your appointment just for a better chance at getting into the Patient room. Overall, you will wait some hours just like any other clinic but the staff is friendly, the doctor makes sure your comfortable before taking the pill medication; and once you have completed everything; your good to go, I prefer this clinic if anyone wants to go forward with abortion.
Mayra Gonzalez: I’m not a patient nor have I ever been but I just want to recognize the brave workers and patients that come and work here I pass by the protesters and just get sick looking at them thank you for all you do and the help you give to keep women safe as for the people protesting leaving uneducated and hateful reviews please educate yourself and remember it’s a hard choice these brave women have to make so instead of looking absolutely ridiculous protesting to take away basic human rights and harass these brave women and workers how about we do something productive with that time like actually read into abortion it’s none of your business what these ladies decide! My body. My choice.
Auntie Melanin: I was here Thursday, I am convinced that the bad reviews are fake . I have never encountered such professional and pleasant staff in the healthcare setting my 33 years on earth like I have here . EVERYONE was truly accommodating and other health care professionals could come here and take notes . I just want to say thank you to each staff member I encountered from the bottom of my heart.
Aidé Oropeza: I pass here every morning. It's amazing to see those protestors outside fighting for babies lives. Just amazing. I give THEM four stars. Very brave people !!
Elizabeth Gonzalez: Fake name for obvious reasons. This was my first time ever doing this and I already have a little boy so I never thought id be in this position. I was terrified coming in here this morning because of all the bad reviews but im now convinced they must be fake. I had the best experience under the circumstances. Sure the wait was longer than I would have liked but I came in at 9:30 and was out by 12. Some people find the group setting uncomfortable but it made me feel much more relaxed and I even made a friend. Passed the time talking to the other ladies there about our experiences. Contrary to the belief of the lunatics yelling at you outside, most of the ladies there with me (including myself) were married/long term relationships and already had other kids and were also being responsible but birth control failed, some were even in situations that were a risk to their lives. The place is clearly old and run down but I wasn't expecting a 5 star resort. Everyone there was SO friendly, special shoutout to the tech who did my ultrasound whose birthday is tomorrow and is a fellow Sagittarius (sorry I didnt get your name). Everyone was very caring and made sure we understood the procedure. Keep in mind this is done in groups (usually 2-3 ladies at a time) so you wont get privacy or personalized service but that didnt bother me as I said it was comforting to talk to others going through the same thing. Dr. Washington was very nice and asked us if we had any questions and made sure we understood the instructions. They give you all the information and numbers to call for questions or complications. The staff made it so that I was laughing and smiling through one of the worst days of my life, thats how awesome they are. Im taking every possible measure so that this never happens again but if it does, I would not hesitate to come back here. Thank you APWHC for providing this vital service during such difficult times for women's health and making one of the worst days of my life bearable.
Natasha Poulous: BEWARE! This facility is not only completely filthy and disgusting, they are rude. $450+ to sit in a room with 14 women for 4 hours, because their 'Doctor' only wants to brief women once on the pill procedure, in order to save time. but the doctor never even said anything. No privacy, and treated like garbage. The amount of money sitting in the facility the day I was there and how absolutely disgusting the place is answers any questions of where your money goes, right in the monstrous Dr. Washingtons pocket. I understand that in a conservative state like NC that womens health care is an afterthought, but this was absolutely insane. As if having to do this isn't hard enough, they do NOTHING to make it any better. They treat you like cattle. I called to ask about my follow up and they hung up on me, after I was told it would be another "3-4 hours" for the second part, because appointments are non-existant. I don't know where else one can go, but good luck. Cuz this place is not it.
Tiara: Waiting time is too long. I waited over an hour and 1/2 for them to give me my medication after the ultrasound. They told me they short staffed. Well if that's the case schedule less patients on that day because it definitely ruined my experience for ever coming back here
Caroline Lewis: Couldn't have had a better experience here today. The staff was very sweet and the whole medicated abortion process was streamlined and easy. Everything was explained to me and they made sure that I understood and didn't leave with questions. I felt very safe and comfortable here. The reviews I read mentioned a long wait, but I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. The ultrasound technician was so personable, I felt like I was in great hands. Definitely recommend.
Joy Williams: Wait time was long(3-4 hours) but the experience and the other women & staff made it more relaxed and great.
Bobby McGrath: I get profound joy from screaming at the anti-choice protestors that amass here on the weekends.
Reeka Lemon: Fake name for privacy . I was super scared from all the reviews of abortion in general . I decided to schedule an appointment. They called me the next day with counseling . On the day of the appointment I was checked in , paid , ( they offer financial assistance) , and filled out the paperwork . They took my blood pressure , pricked my finger , and did an ultrasound. They offered more counseling and then shortly after we met with the doctor in a group to get the first medication. ( at first I didn’t have any thoughts about it being in a group , but when I got home I felt sad like dang we were all just having abortions ) anyways I took the first pill , and 24 hours later took the second set . I pretty much met the statistics of an abortion, within the first 5 hours passing the pregnancy . I felt no pain at all with the help of the pain medicine proscribed, and I didn’t bleed that much . My follow up was pretty smooth and they said the abortion had been successful. The vaginal ultra sound was uncomfortable ( always is to me )but the lady with the dreads was super nice , and helped me through it . All of the staff were super nice and the doctor was as well. Never expected to do this . But thank you 10/10.
Dominique Barrera: Waiting all day. Appointments don't matter. No alternate line for issues so it backs up the line.Multiple people tried to get refunds after being lied to about how far along they were.If you are past 10 weeks they will say you are 14 and won't operate because their cutoff is 13.6 weeks. The way they handle their irate customers is unprofessional. There is a 2nd waiting room inside after they bombard you with questions.
Lí Alou: I was in the check-in line for over an hour and the total wait time was 4 hours. People were checking out who arrived after me. Staff are loud and unprofessional. They didn’t give me a receipt and the bathroom is disgusting. Definitely won’t be recommending this location to anyone.
Precious Moments: Waited for 4 hours to get a pill
Brittney: Fake name: Went to my appointment and was very satisfied in every aspect. Took about 3 hours, but was also busy. Sat in a waiting room with other women and had a movie playing. Nurses were very nice and informative, follow up only took about 10 minutes if that long. Would highly recommend for women looking to do what’s best for them!
Angy Martinez: I can’t even begin to express my gratitude with my experience here. Every single staff member deserves not only a raise but the most positive recognition ever. Angela was hands down was top tier. She offered us all comfort food and drinks and had the most positive energy that we truly all needed in those moments. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone and Dr. Washington was absolutely wonderful. To the staff I sadly didn’t get the names of, you all are so fabulous and so kind and made the experience worth while. So thankful for everyone there. Truly 100/10 Experience and place.
Krystyna Grzybek: I had failed abortion. I'm in er now and was told the baby never passed smh. That place took forever to see me and everything.
Dominique Lawrence: I had a great experience. The staff was really professional and put me at ease. It was my first time going and was really nervous. Everyone there was really nice and understanding and walked me through all the steps. I would recommend anyone to go there even if it’s the first time and I met patients that been there more than once that shared their experiences and put me at ease as well.. I am so to have found a place that was helpful with giving me the financial assistance I needed for the services and a staff was really helpful. Thanks again to the staff.

Planned Parenthood - Raleigh Health Center: what do users think?
jf 1234: Choose LIFE
Ruby Dirt Hutcheson: SWEETEST friendliest staff. Had a cute cooking show on in the waiting room. awesome. everybody go get tested for STDs-STIs. happy pride month
Kyle Anne: Made an appointment to switch back to nexplanon and have my IUD removed cause it's been a miserable time having it. I left in tears and with my IUD still in place.Took over 2.5 hours after my appointment time before I was seen. Then they somehow messed up my urine test and kept insisting I was pregnant despite me knowing that was impossible. And would not believe me otherwise and kept talking about how they couldn't give me the implant because of the test and that I could get my IUD removed at my termination appointment. They said they put in an order for a bloodtest at Labcorp; yet Labcorp didn't have any orders for me waiting when I arrived, so I ordered my own bhcg test while there. To the surprise of no one except the PP employees: I'm not pregnant.Really hope there's not someone else walking around the area thinking they're not pregnant when they are! Over 3 hours spent there only to leave with my IUD still in and with bunk test results.
A Nobody: My girlfriend had a scheduled appointment, got there 20 minutes before, and was finally seen around an hour after the scheduled time. There was 1 person ahead of her.... Would recommend other locations or organizations over this one if possible.
Wilsery Delgado: Excelente Atención , muy profesional Todas las chicas , y muy amable la doctora!!! Y Abi muy amable !!!
Оля Фортунатова: Awful place! Please save yourself time and avoid this clinic! They lied to my mom that they sent referrals for biopsy to Obgyn and when we showed up to finally pick up referrals because it were almost a month without call from any doctor they told us they even don't have ultrasound results! I don't know what a heck is going on with this clinic! It's terrible in all means!
tyler b. (ty): this planned parenthood has always been amazing. i come here for my hormone treatments and the staff has always been kind and understand. my last visit was the best i’ve had yet - nicole, nona, and rachel were some of the most amazing staff i’ve encountered. the intake nurse was also pleasant as well. everyone answered my questions with no judgment and the practitioners matched my energy perfectly AND were both absolute bundles of joys. the only grievance i’ve ever had is that it’s hard to connect to them on the phone, but they are an extremely busy location so it’s understandable. thank you guys for making my treatments pleasant.
Ray S: I've always had really great experiences with this clinic! The staff is always super kind and make sure you're feeling comfortable. As a trans person, I've never felt more comfortable at a doctors office than I do at this PP.
Derek Raynor: Very helpful to me and my family to discuss needs and options. Listened and showed compassion for our family and situation.
Erin Sadler: Would give 0 if I could. For a place that is designed to help low income, they surely like to charge high prices. Also very difficult to determine how much things will cost- I have BCBS so I was under the assumption most things would be covered easily, but no. Was told at time of intake that it would cost $70 for visit, which was paid upfront, was made aware of possible charges for additional services. At check out, after I had an appointment where no services ended up ever being performed, was charged an additional $18 as that was “the rest of the amount from the total appointment charge.” But was not made aware of this prior to appointment, just the additional charges that I may incur if other services performed. Not very transparent about cost obviously. Also was told at time of scheduling appointment on the phone that I could be seen for 2 issues in one appointment in which during the appointment am told by nurses that I can only be seen for 1 and that I needed to choose which issue I wanted to talk about. For someone who has very little money, I can’t afford to make ANOTHER $88 min appointment. When I made it very apparent money was an issue for me, I was just met with “sorrys,” rather than employees trying to help someone who is desperately trying to get their health under control. Again, for a place that is designed to help low income, doesn’t sound like much effort is being made to help those in need. On top of all of this, one of the nurses I had very much had an attitude and was unpleasant and unfriendly when taking me from waiting room to the appointment room. Very disappointed all around as this was once an organization I very much supported. Also just had an appt with my PCP who was appalled with the way things went at my appointment at PP.
Victoria Canady: I have been calling for 3 days and have gotten no answer to holding for 40 minutes, reserving my place in line 2 days in a row, nor 2 voicemails.. I attempted to schedule online, nothing was confirmed, but I got a text asking to confirm appointment (but had no appointment details, or email).---------------------UPDATE--------‐----------------finally got my appointment, and staff was wonderful, patient, professional, answered my questions, sensitive, and in no way diminished my worries, curiosities, or concerns. The wait was a bit excessive but thats normal.
Tina Jewell: Started calling before 4pm today. Was on hold for 40 minutes before I finally picked the option to leave my number for a call back. No one ever called me back and it's after 5 so they are closed now. I need an appointment to have my implant out and can't book it online, it won't let me. But I can't reach them on the phone either.
Khadijah Selah: Zero stars if I could. Called the 919 # texted to me to as for an estimate and see about qualifying for low-no cost and I did not get a straight answer whenever callingI get there to my appointment over 3 days after scheduling and she tells me they cannot determine how much it will be. After telling her I need to know up front they have a figure of 191$ just for a sti screening without insurance. I could’ve saved time and a drive if I would’ve just gotten the upfront figure when I first started calling to make the appointment. If you don’t want to use or have insurance go to the health department or an actual nonprofit
Rowan Gallaher: The people who work here are very nice and friendly but I’m not sure what’s going on with the logistics of everything. I came in for an IUD insertion to be told that I have to reschedule, and the reasoning for rescheduling could have been prefaced with a simple disclosure over the phone. I came in again and they made me reschedule once again for the same reason. The person who helped me during the first appointment rescheduled the 2nd appointment themselves, and I was under the impression I could get the IUD finally, but it should have been rescheduled for the next month, not the next week. I’m not the expert in IUDs so I was just trusting the timing of everything to them. Really need to work on maybe double checking records as I’ll need to come in for a third time… and will probably get billed incorrectly based on the rest of the reviews.
Megan Gallagher: Went for routine testing, got there ~20 mins early. Intake took forever, the testing itself took maybe 8 minutes of the 2 hours I was there. Also, the nurse who took my blood did a terrible job, they should’ve noticed when blood wasn’t flowing very quickly that the needle wasn’t where it was supposed to be. Now I have this absolutely horrific bruise. Everything offered here is offered at A Woman’s Choice but with better bedside manner and skill.
Alexis Perry: I love this place and the staff! As a teenager and trans at that, I can get noticeably nervous in the waiting room. When taken back to the rooms i feel so comfortable and safe with all the staff members who have seen me. I have almost been a patient for a full year and love my visits here and have been roughly 5-6 times! I’ve only had one experience where I was on the waiting room for an hour+ before being seen, but they were packed that day so it’s understandable due to only having a handful of rooms patients can check into. would def recommend them for HRT needs!!! The lady’s at the front desk are super nice, the lady’s who tend to my needs are super nice. I can’t give a bad review about this place! I love this place!
Brittany Clark: Plan to be here an hour and a half no matter what you're scheduled for. I've been sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes and this is not the first time. They overbook themselves constantly. They've also overcharged me several times, but send a refund check in the mail a month or so after my appointment. I don't really have cash to lend them so this is annoying. Also, the one time I was late I was scolded by the front desk, so I told her I'm sorry and I drove from an hour away, and she said, "Some patients drive from 3 hours away." then asked for my address so she could try to find me a closer clinic. How would there be closer clinics?!? Most of the staff is nice but this place is a mess.
Dylan Derringer: The whole staff was very helpful and clearly took pride in their work. I interacted with Charlotte the most, who was awesome! They made sure I had all the information I needed and knew I would be taken care of.
John Doe: Incredibly slow on treatments. I have been waiting 2 hours to get my blood drawn for an STD test. Then she finally comes around and tells me she's going to send me to another lab and ask me download a mobile app. It's a simple STD test what do I need a mobile app for?
Simone Mendez: Sat here for two hours 4-6 and was not seen . It was 6 o'clock and I was the last person in the lobby and they close at 5. Ridiculous wait times. Won't be coming back and don't come here.
Serena Sonoma: It is absolutely impossible to get a hold of literally anyone via phone call. It’s only so much patience you can have with this Planned Parenthood until you have been calling for nearing a month to request the results of your blood testing. It’s ridiculous.

A Woman's Choice of Raleigh: what do users think?
Nunya Beeznus: These ladies are amazing! At 17 I got pregnant by an extremely abusive ex and did what I felt made me safest. These women were there and ready to tussle with any protester that wanted to walk up and try and bother you. They even had a service dog there for you to pet and keep you company. I’m so glad their flower fence keeps out all the negativity outside. I hope this new bill doesn’t disrupt their good spirits with helping women’s health!
Lt. Mittens Honcho: Posting a 5 star to counter the people claiming to have gotten service there but using their "husband's" account. Or people like Damonique Levy who I personally observed standing outside as one of the protestors. Simple answer to that is they never got service there and were likely one of the paste eating clods that stand outside and shout banal, generic, biblical platitudes or blatant scientific falsehoods and conveniently cherry picked statistics with no context or understanding how it works.Patrick Wooden and his gang of gas station hot dogs are some of the worst people allowed to exist. They're the anti-choice version of the "Patriot" Front but I'll give credit to the former for not wearing masks and owning their terrible beliefs and useless existence.
Brittany Sturdivant: These woman go above and beyond to make sure you feel safe and cared for. Women fear this decision everyday and they were here every step of the way for me. Thank you for being such an amazing place.
CHIEFMAMBA: Posting under my husband account because i don’t want my name displayed ! Worst place ever . The staff is sweet ! But do not do their job !! I came back for my checkup and was told i was fine ! Had very unusual bleeding very heavy had to go to the ER the ER told me i had retained fetal left inside ! Went back to them to let them know what the ER said was told “ they always send people back and pretty much be lying “ sent me home told me i was fine come back in 2 weeks ! Went back was sent home told everything was fine ! that VERY same day i bled so heavy !! I had 4 huge blood clots come out had to go to the hospital come to find out i still have retained product left in me ! Even though i was told i was good ! Now i have to get a D&C done by another doctor because this clinic could do their job ! Been dealing with this for over 2 months now and this is ridiculous. If i up to filing a law suit i definitely would !
Renee: Been trying to email and call about getting my medical records released to my doctor and having the hardest time getting a response. They come up with rules as they go when it comes to trying to get documentation for being out of work. Very unprofessional and not compassionate at all. Going to just get my doctor to try and request information here on out it’s ridiculous.
Anastasia S: My first time at an abortion clinic and I wasn't impressed. When I drove up, there were lots of people in the parking lot and after observing everything, I finally realize after a few moments that I was to follow the people in the rainbow vests. I wish that information was told to me before my actual appointment when they were talking to me on the phone so it wasn't so confusing driving up. The staff were definitely not professional. After filling out the packet of paperwork, I had a few spots where I missed that I needed to fill out and the lady was acting extremely annoyed that she was having to tell me again where to fill out the spots that I missed. Then to other ladies started having a conversation about their friend who just had their baby, and was talking about the details and how the baby was doing. EXTREMELY inappropriate conversation to be having at this type of clinic. It's not an easy choice for every woman to be having an abortion, and to have to stand there and not say anything while these two women are having that conversation was extremely disheartening. In the back you get some blood work done to see if you react positive or negative for your blood work. One of the ladies said she tested positive to the other lady, and when I responded positive for what? The other lady didn't even acknowledge me or that I spoke but instead started talking to the original lady who took the blood work and said" they will always ask positive for what? So I normally just say that the blood work is reactive" felt extremely rude to not even be acknowledged like I wasn't an actual person and like it wasn't my blood. When I asked again what the positive meant, the original lady who took the blood said, I'm not sure...it's just positive.... How are you going to be taking my blood and not even know what it's for?? So if I needed another abortion would i come to this clinic? Probably not. The staff have a lot of work to do on how to treat people especially in an environment as fragile as this one.
Megan Vandiford: This was my first time, Every nurse and the Doctor were nice. The place felt welcoming. If you are new to going just know there is a annoying guy outside screaming. As he is judging us. He is sinning very Hypocritical. Other than that definitely Recommend! Thank you lady's.
Damonique Levy: Horrible experience! The doctor did not administer the Anesthetic correctly and I felt the entire thing. The nurses were telling me don’t scream but they clearly you could tell I was not sedated. They missed my vein and the medicine just flooded my hand. I did not appreciate that experience. It was a nightmare! Very frustrating. I would not recommend this clinic.
Bethany Gore: This place is so warm and welcoming. I had my surgical on Saturday. Everybody was very kind and compassionate. The male doctor who did my procedure was very kind. I was very scared so he slowed everything down for me. He was very understanding and he told me everything he did before he did it. He told me every cm he did and he is such a fantastic doctor. I highly suggest going to this place. Yes there are a lot of protestors there. But id you know deep down this is the right and hard choice for you then i suggest coming here. Rate it 10 stars if i could.
Alice Yorke: Compassionate care in a women-owed clinic. I'm all about it! Plus funding options for people with financial barriers. These people are great.
Sydney Holmes: professional help for women's health
Carolyn Bergier: Provides important and essential healthcare services for women with no hidden costs.
Jojoeia Mag: First off I wanna thank the staff for being super supportive. I had my appointment at 9am it was a mix up with doctors so my wait was super long but it was worth the wait. The doctor was very nice and gentle the staff was super nice I didn't get iv sedated and the procedure went just fine. The staff was right in there holding my hand and offering support. I'm so happy I came to this location. Thanks again
Mo G: Stay away from this place if you can help it there are way more professional clinics in the area. They do not deserve your money as they were so rude to my friend that she almost didn’t go through with the procedure until we found A Woman’s Health.
Nakala Mitchell: Paid 200$ for a pill procedure with financial help waited about 2hrs but it was well worthed this was a easy pain free abortion
Brittney Smith: AWCR has its pros and cons...pros: great staff that get along well and work well as a team, its a not a bad place to work inspite of the circumstances thats being done, and they will hire you fresh out of school unlike most medical facilities..cons:PAY is very low even if you have experience in the medical field, saturdays are mandatory, the hrs fluctuate so you are not guaranteed 40hrs, they dont have a housekeeping service so you have to clean the entire facility, including baseboards that i was determined not to do, raises arent guaranteed, you dont get a lunch break but is expected to clock out for lunch, the benefits arent worth getting not unless you making real money and actually getting 40 hrs a week, upper management does not acknowledge their staff just worried about money not realizing sometimes staff would like to know they are appreciated instead of finding things like baseboards to complain about..I can go on and on but again health wise for the ladies i would recommend because the doctor is great, working there i dont suggest 🤷🏾‍♀️
Sheila Rogge: Your going to have to wait for hours..... With no cell phone.... So bring paper and a pen or something that doesn't take photos to play. The procedure doesn't take that long tho....If your further along it takes a little longer.... Also, when I went thru did NOT provide sedation.... They are nice tho.
Sidney Robyn: My experience at this place was AMAZING. The protesters outside are annoying but do not let them affect your decision. EVERYONE at the clinic is professional, friendly , and down to Earth. The atmosphere was very warm, me and the other girls eased each other with our different reasons and it’s nice to see different people from different backgrounds coming together to comfort each other. WARNING: they let you know it is a typical 4-6 hour wait but my experience was pretty fast even with the long wait. The counseling was very helpful, the staff did an amazing job helping me make the right choice. Dr. Cracker is SO GOOD, he explains the process, comforts you, makes you feel not weird and he is fast, safe and efficient. I did no IV sedation and my procedure wasn’t very painful plus The nurses let you squeeze the life out of them. (Sorry Brittney lol). When I arrived, I had complications with me not having a driver and they worked with me, waited on my fiancé and made sure we were okay. I loved Porsha and Julie, They really made me feel at home and Porsha was a good maternal figure for me because I was nervous plus my fiancé was late. I’m glad I chose this place and I would definitely recommend this place to any woman that is confident that she wants to continue with a free life.PLEASE do a survey, it helps get you a morning after pill & good reviews for such a great clinic.
Teayona Owens: The protesters outside annoyed me trying to guilt me into my decision. However, it didn’t phase me. The staff here were great the Dr. did a great job. I felt no pain at all. It did take about 5 hrs just to be seen. Other than that great experience and you receive Morning after pills for taking surveys. Nice trade.
Tamirra Murray: The staff were excellent I love everyone’s energy! Jennifer was so nice I wanted her to go in the room with me for my procedure and sure enough she came in with me held my hand I was out of it for the most part but I love love love this place thank you again everyone including Dr. Cracker
Melissa Averett: Brought a friend of mine who needed services and was making a difficult decision during a difficult time. We had gone to two other clinics in Raleigh before choosing this one. Unlike the other two, A Woman's Choice is clean, calm and friendly. The staff was warm, compassionate and welcoming. This decision is never easy and it shouldn't be, but it does not have to be made more stressful by overworked and overwhelmed staff and service providers, or a dingy location. If you have to make that awful decision, a Woman's Choice should be your next, best, choice.

Nicole Deriso: The staff here was amazing, super friendly and helpful.
Ashley Freeman: I've been trying to schedule here for a MONTH AND A Half and It is the hardest to get an appointment. I have spoken with some friendly but A WHOLE month and a half is crazy.
Callie Booker-Martin: I have seen the ambulance at this place several times within the past year…I would not trust this “health care facility” where women are consistently being rushed off in an ambulance to receive actual medical care in order to fix whatever continues to go wrong here :(
Amber Roy: This facility is a God Send, after having a horrible experience at Preferred Women's Heath Center, instead of going back there in two weeks like they asked I came to Planned Parenthood. Complete different all the way around. First, the staff is knowledgeable! They are caring! They are gentle! The women that work here are legit angels! It was a wait but not bad, and it wasn't so crowded that you had no where to sit! And it's super cleans! Congratulations to the Dr and staff! You are helping so many women.
Nita Turbe: Staff and providers were super nice and service was excellent. Definitely would recommend.
dasia turner: Highly don’t recommend been sitting in the waiting room since 9:20Am here it is going on 2:00pm very annoyed that I haven’t been seen yet I mean really what’s the point of even having an appt should have just did a damn walk in I don’t like this at all
Analise C.: Editing my first review. No one would answer when I called to reschedule. But the establishment itself is great. I was in and out in under 2 hrs and the staff was very kind and accommodating.
Katey M: A wonderful place full of beautiful and kind souls. The wait time is understandable— they have a lot on their plates as all the staff is continuosly on their feet. I was so scared and anxious when arriving but just now leaving, I feel relieved and at peace thanks to this planned parenthood’s staff. Thank you so much for all of your kindness and compassion throughout this difficult time. You guys were so sweet and gentle with everything and were extremely thorough in explaining everything. I hope that everyone at this location finds themselves forever in great health and happiness. Thank you all so much. You are the kindest people to roam this earth and your services and hearts are tremendously appreciated.
Kailee Shirts: why do they allow patients family or friends to be in the waiting room. I understand for support or a ride but they should have to wait in their car and called when needed. I found it very uncomfortable when I came in for my appointment and had no where to sit while I filled out my form. As well as men in the waiting room? one of which was watching videos on his phone with the volume turned up. I don’t understand how this is not policy. I’ve been to Charlotte location and they do not allow you to have visitors in the waiting room.
Jazmin Hernandez: Loved every staff member and doctor! Everyone was so attentive, supportive, informative, compromising and extremely caring. As someone coming from out of town I did not know what to expect. But I loved and appreciated the awesome experience they provided for me the past 2 days! Thank you guys so much!!!! The environment was also very calm and quiet which I loved as well!
Diamond Lloyd: The check in and wait is longer than the actual procedure. I would not recommend this place you will sit in pain off the antibiotics they feed you while you wait for your actual pain meds that they don’t give you until the procedure.
gunchy: The staff and providers are really nice and professional. However, the constant mistakes have really started to add up for me with this clinic. It's exhausting. Constantly playing phone tag, never receiving lab results that I'm having to pay out of pocket for, being prescribed the incorrect amount of medication, being given the wrong price for medication... its ALWAYS something with this clinic. As I said, the staff and the providers are incredibly considerate and extremely professional but at this point I only come to this clinic because I have nowhere else to go.
Mikayla Ramey: The staff is okay when you are seen in person for a procedure, not very compassionate or personable in my opinion which makes things even more awkward and uncomfortable. However, once you leave they could care less about after care. It’s like their job is to provide service and get you out, doesn’t matter what happens afterwards. It’s been almost a month since my procedure and I still feel terrible. I’ve tried calling multiple times and they just tell me “it’s normal” and to wait until it’s been a full month to be seen again. Even though I was told at the clinic multiple times by multiple different people that I should feel back to normal and pregnancy symptoms should start to go away by a week afterwards. To me it’s just not normal and it’s not okay how they treat you as if you’re just another patient and they don’t really care.
Camre Hamilton: The staff is so kind and considerate! I showed up early for my appointment and they got me in as soon as they could! I didn’t wait long at all. Thank you for safely changing out my nexplanon! 10/10 recommend :)
Kristian Farrish: Staff is extremely helpful and passionate about their job. However My appointment was at 8:50 am & it’s currently 3:15 pm and I still haven’t begun my procedure! Make sure you have a free full day if you are coming to the Chapel Hill office very slow !
Nora Adame-Aleman: drove a friend here for support, her appointment was at 10:30 its 3:52 and im still waiting outside in the parking lot. this is ridiculous
LaVey: the staff is here is amazing! super kind and comforting
Crystina Seavert: I wondered why the reviews of this place weren't that great and I was even hesitant to come here. However, I have to say that I had a positive experience and am super grateful they were there for me. I've come to the conclusion that most people with mostly good experiences are probably not as likely to review as those with a. truly negative experiences (uncommon) and b. those who have entitled mindsets and don't take into consideration that this type of place can't move as quickly as a fast food drive through (as most negative reviews indicate). While there is always room for improvement, we should be thankful that against the odds, this place exists to offer novel care to women.
Ann Margareet: Front desk staff professional Med tech prompt provider friendly and listened. Great experience so far.
Bailey Mennemeier: The staff are truly kind and care. I am giving a one-star review because I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for 9:50 on Aug 4,2021 and arrived at 9:30 to check in after a two hour drive there. I waited almost forty minutes and then they had me wait in the car because there were so many people. I did not get in to see any care provider until almost 11. I was in and out of exam rooms and waiting rooms and didn't get to complete my purpose of being there until around 3. The clinic was closed while I was in recovery and I did not leave until 3:30. Do not go to this location unless you have a day to waste. It is not their fault they are understaffed but they could definitely book to fit their staffing. It was the most irritating day in a while and I couldn't leave because I needed care.
Agustina Bacigalupo: Appointment was at 9 AM. 12 PM and I still have not been seen. Not to mention they never answer the phones
