I understand it takes time to get set up, but arrived at 11:30 and it was CLOSED. Y'all need to shut down if you can not afford to open up or better yet afford staff for that matter!!!

I had no idea what size gauge or what styles I was looking for, and the staff were so incredibly helpful! Momo helped me find the perfect rings for me, and was very personable and informative, and really made my experience here great. This location is so much nicer than the nearby mall location, and the staff just made it so much better! I will definitely be coming back!
Paradox Dollbox: Great selection of stuff!! There's way more room to walk around and the store is more organized than any of their other locations. The manager, Momo, was super nice and helped us find what we were looking for! She was absolutely not about to sell me a product that she thought wasn't top notch. Will definitely be returning soon!!!!!

Mi Daughtry: This is my favorite location (Cary, NC) until today. The white girl with the dyed hair took my stuff and said she’d put it at the front. It made me feel like she thought I was going to steal it. I’m an LPN I don’t need to steal anything. Then, she implied an item was too much. Okay, I have plenty money.. I’m not sure what the issue is. She kept harassing us the whole time we were in the store. Felt very uncomfortable around her. I loved this location but I won’t be back. Will start going to the one in Raleigh. Very disappointing.

Compared to other Spencer’s in the city, this one is by far the best - friendliest staff, most well organized, and greatest variety of stock. It’s a real hidden gem if you’re looking for anything LGBT or alt aesthetic. Also shout out to Drew, who not only knew that exactly where to find things we’d be interested in (including helping with a gift suggestion) but also made us feel welcome and comfortable.

KARI HUNSAKER: Normally i have a great experience at this store, but today was not the case. In full disclosure, I wanted to return an item, never worn, i had the tag on. I did not purchase it on clearance. When I walked in, i said i wanted to return it. Immediately, i was told that it was a clearance item and all sales are final. I said, i purchased this shirt at full price. After looking it up, they found that i purchased the item 3 months ago, past their 60 day return policy. I understand this is their policy, and i have no problem adhering to the policy. It was how I was treated. I wasn't welcomed, and it felt like I was at the DMV, not Torrid.
Rieneke Farrow: If I could, I would give this no stars. I just walked into this location and none of the THREE employees acknowledged my presence. They continued their conversation as if I wasn't there. I walked right by them and was tempted to say hello just so that they'd have to acknowledge me but I refrained. Not even 3 minutes later, other customers (of a lighter skin tone) walked in and were immediately greeted and offered assistance. I walked out, past all three employees, with still no acknowledgement. You obviously need help from the fact that the last two times I attempted to visit this location, it was closed. But maybe train your employees to have better customer service. I'll never be back and will tell everyone I know why.
Lauren King: I've only had great experiences at this location. Whenever I needed to pick up an order or exchange an item, the staff here has always been helpful. Today (5/15/2022) Felicia went above and beyond for me. She was the only one holding the store down and I could tell she needed some relief. But she didn't let that get in the way of making sure I was taken care of. She got my item returned and replaced with a smaller size, for the same price I paid online. She made sure the item was shipped to my house. We cracked some jokes and I was on my way. She's the best. I hope her higher ups see this and give her raise cause she deserves it.
