Dr. Sameh K. Toma, MD: what do users think?
jailyn rodriguez: I had essure reversal june 2021 I flew a plane from upstate new York beautiful place .Took me 7months to get pregnant . January 2022 I'm currently pregnant 1month I'm 41 year old thank to the staff and doctor who made this possible with the help of God ...God bless
Pamela Young: Exceptional team and doctor every step of the way. From the initial consultation, through a miscarriage, through several challenges, and then onto a healthy baby. She's turning 15 next week. Not a year goes by when I don't stop to reflect on the blessing this team of experts gave us. ❤️
sammy pat: My wife had scheduled appointment to see Dr Toma. She took half day off from work off. She was told to wait for him outside for him because he was in surgery. Then hour later they took her to room and told her to undress and stay in gown. She waited for another hour and half. Nurses told her he is in surgery and not sure when he can see her. She waited 3 1/2 hours after her appointment time and he didnt see her. She left because she had to go back to work. I would not recommed this provider to anyone!
Henry: Called multiple times at 4:00PM and got a message saying they were closed. Nothing posted about a change in hours and the message even said business hours went until 5:00PM. Very unprofessional for a medical center to not take calls during business hours with a website that isn't friendly to new users either.
Irene Ince: Best doctor that I have been to. After numerous docs, he was able to diagnose my fibroids and I was able to get pregnant with IVF. I am so happy that I went to him and recommend him to all my friends!
Ann Savage: Thanks to Dr Toma and his friendly staff at NCCRM my husband and I are finally a family. After being told for many years we couldn’t have children our dreams did come true. I read some of his reviews but decided to judge for myself and I’m glad I did. Looks like a few of the reviews are done by the same person.
Robin Holland: I have been going here for years. I’ve had one surgery, that was 100% successful and I do all of my check ups etc here. I’ve always been treated with professionalism and kindness. If I have a concern they addressed my concerns by phone or they squeeze me in if I feel my concerns are urgent. I highly recommend this practice and Dr Toma.
Heidi Berggren: Excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly Doctor.

Duke Fertility Center: what do users think?
Kendrick Gonzalez: Money is their priority. Run!!!!
M Stokes: Amazing staff, we had a wonderful experience with a knowledgeable and compassionate staff. Highly recommend this clinic.
david goldberg: Still waiting three months after we were done with this place for our money for charges for services not rendered, after the procedure didn’t work and they provided no explanation to my significant other Just let her twist in the wind for over a week without even a phone call
Amanda Moore: Waited months for an appointment they called one month before told me it was telehealth or I had to wait another 3 months to be seen in person. If you read the reviews and get excited because the doctors are good don’t get your hopes up. Their practice managers and nurses are not sympathetic won’t address your concerns and will not help you look for alternatives when they essentially cancel your appointment. Please look elsewhere if you want to save yourself the worry and trouble.
rushfd69: More concerned about their stats to turn a profit versus helping people have families. I was told I was 3 months past their "deadline" and "donor egg" or look elsewhere. Even more so, all of my care is fully covered, so they wouldn't even have to worry about getting paid. I don't want to be a surrogate to a child my husband is having with someone else.
Laure Laura: I highly recommend Dr Price. He is very patient, knowledgeable and very carrying. He takes time to explain things.
Marie S: I tried to have low expectations but still felt disappointed at the first consult. Several OBGYNs had blown me off perviously and just kept referring me to a fertility center assuring me that's where I would get more answers/information/options. I was surprised how little even a fertility center seemed to take an interest in our situation. There were hardly any questions asked about our medical history. We got no suggestions on anything we could try as far as supplements or additional bloodwork or options to try on a next pregnancy.I had done a lot of research in preparation for this visit - within the first 5 minutes, I could tell this wasn't really going anywhere. I kept asking questions anyway, and just kept getting the same answers: "I am not familiar with that" or "There's not enough data to support that". It was disappointing there was just blanket statements of "there's no research for that" even though I had found many peer reviewed studies to suggest there may be benefits in trying x, y, z or at least the possibility of a correlation. The doctor showed no interest in any of that. When I made the appointment, the front desk assured me that these doctors were up on the research and were active in the university - and I was severely disappointed especially with this aspect of the visit.Obviously after waiting 2 months for this appointment and the emotional heaviness of the situation, it's frustrating to walk away with not much more than I had walking in. I left with the impression that this is not a center designed to have a team part of your TTC journey - it does not seem like they would help you monitor anything or offer any interventions (all my questions got "no" for an answer) - it seems mainly a system designed to solely get you on IVF without trying anything else beforehand. Any other things discussed in the appointment were things I had researched beforehand and had to bring up to ask about (which all got rejected).I even asked several times, "this is all you can offer.. I'm not really leaving with any suggestions here". (The ONE suggestion the doctor offered is something that I had already discussed with two different obgyns previously several months ago. If I had wanted that procedure, I could have done that awhile ago without this center. So they didn't offer me anything new or different.) On my way out, the front desk still tried to get me to schedule a 6-8 week follow up. What I would exactly be "following up on", I'm not sure.I was expecting very little, yet still hoped for something, and left with absolutely nothing. To be fair: the new facility is very clean and pretty. The front desk staff were very kind and polite and actually very welcoming. The nurse was very friendly was well. But I came for a bit more than that..How I can wait 2 months for an appointment, see a "specialist" in this area, and leave with absolutely nothing new -- is just mind-blowing to me.
Cee Emm: I'm updating this review after further treatment. We were with Duke Fertility for two years total; our experience in the second year was terrific. This may have been because we'd become more experienced patients; however, I feel like the level of care and follow-up (and physician contact) in 2022 improved.Old review (old location):You absolutely spend a lot of time with the nurses and have to be your own advocate (and specifically request to see your physician - it can be quite a wait to talk to a doctor) but unlike UNC they will TELL YOU HOW MUCH PROCEDURES COST if you can get their financial counselors on the phone. It's sad that that's currently my high bar - in any sane universe there would be public price sheets for self-pay procedures - but at least they'll tell you if you ask.
Jamie Schatz: Could not disagree more with the low rating of this facility. Duke Fertility deserves 5 stars! I've been with Duke Fertility for a full year and every aspect of my time with them has been wonderful. The staff is incredibly kind and responsive. The new facility is beautiful. The communication is always timely and thorough. The resources provided - from financial assistance, to mental care, to med prep, to insurance coverage - are above par. I felt truly seen and cared for as a person with unique circumstances instead of just another numbered patient. Dr. Acharya, Nurse Ashley, and Nurse Kim took exceptional care of me and I will highly recommend this facility to everyone I know seeking fertility care. Thank you, Duke Fertility Center!
atypicalnguyen: 1. Insensitive and arrogant. Yes, the nurses are arrogant. These poor women and myself who have experienced fertility issues have to experience the lack of empathy from the healthcare providers at this fertility center.2. Provide no background information about your treatment. No information about logistics and process. Just gives you a bunch of videos to review. You'll find yourself asking questions and getting frustrated.3. All calls go through voicemail. Little to no interaction with actual doctors.
sunny afternoon: This is a teaching clinic. Most of your procedures will be done by fellows. Your case is not responsible by a certain dr. You will be welcomed by the doctors but once you started you have very few chances to see your dr. So fellow is important but their information are not on the website and no review or record you can trace. Do not use Jessica. She has heavy hand but she does not care. I had 3D image with her and was so painful that I still remember now after it was done 1 year ago. Today, unfortunately my IUI was done by her again even though I requested an attending a couple times. Jessica did it with 40 minutes delay and told me the timing was not important. I searched online and there were research showing the time between sperm collection and IUI makes difference. Also the training of the professionals are needed. I could not get my blood drawn two days ago. Both the nurse and the fellow could not make it. I have no trouble with other clinics before. Very frustrated. The nurses are caring and responsible, the doctor I see is great but I wish I could be under her care not the fellow.
Amanda Barnett: I have been going here on/off for 4 years. I have a long history at Duke Fertility only because I didn't want to start with IVF and started out with less expensive/invasive options. The nurses are AMAZING and the Dr.'s are the most up to date on the research. Amy and the nurses have worked late hours and through the lunch hours to help me with financing or set me up with calendar/ special script requests. What I will say for those who left poor reviews is that it seemed they had expectations they would get a lot of time with their primary doctor. Frankly, the only area I could see being improved is addressing how care works in the clinic. The doctors are responsible to review the case, consult with patents/review history, create the plan of care, oversee the progress, do the implant procedures or egg extraction procedures (if doing IVF), or biopsys. You will work VERY closely with the nurses because they are the SUPERSTARS that tell you about the medication increases, the schedule of medicine and other important details. My nurse has singlehandedly gone out of her way to make sure I was injecting myself correctly, I had the proper tools and frankly cares deeply about her work. Dr. Price is VERY responsive on duke mychart and responds with any concerns and questions I have. I will also add that there are amazing support groups here for pregnancy loss. I highly recommend coming here if you are open to working with AMAZING nurses and Dr.'s who are up to date on the latest research. Also, I will add I'm successfully pregnant doing IVF. I am beyond thankful for this clinic and the staff!
Melissa Barnett: I was referred to Duke Fertility by my OBGYN. My first appointment with Dr. Price was via telehealth. He was knowledge, but blunt. He didn’t beat around the bush which was greatly appreciated it. He scheduled me blood work and an ultrasound. I have a severe needle phobia. I didn’t sleep the week before my appointment because of my anxiety. I paced the whole day of my appointment. I get to the clinic and freak out about the blood work. The staff was AMAZING. They took their time and made sure I was relaxed. Once I was relaxed Constance drew my blood and i didn’t feel a thing. She drew it on the first try.I have had multiple experiences calling this clinic for appointments and financial quotes. Everyone has replied quickly. I haven’t run into any issues. The google reviews for this place at not what I expected. Some of the reviews less than favorable. I highly suggest going to DF and making your own opinions. The care I received amazing and delivered with the upmost professionalism.
Stephanie Farmer: Stay away from Duke Fertility! Every negative review is 100% accurate. This clinic is poorly run, communication is terrible and after your initial consult, you are relegated to seeing fellows and have minimal MyChart based interactions with your doctor. I was here for over 6 months and saw my personal doctor one time. When a call delivering bad news had to be made, a fellow (who fumbled over her words and was incredibly insensitive and unable to answer my questions) delivered it, not my doctor. Dr. Acharya was wonderful, compassionate and helpful, however seeing her one time in 6 months is unacceptable. At Duke Fertility you are literally a number in the rotation of 3 different fellows who don’t know your name or situation. I did see Dr. Steiner for one visit and found her to be incredibly dismissive, rude and unprofessional. After two failed IUI’s I am transferring elsewhere to continue my treatment. If you want to receive compassionate and informed care, look elsewhere!
P G: stay away from Dr. Steiner - shares bad news through lab values and a duke message instead of speaking with you at your appointment and sharing your diagnosis. Very impersonal especially during a vulnerable time in your life. Praying for compassion
Usman Ahmad: I stert our first cycle it was very bad experience we lost money like 20000 thousand and thay uncompete our cycle when our cycle is stopped at middle after that thay don’t receiving callI call several time at appointment number at nursing’s number and also send voice messages but no body call backBe careful about duke fertility center
Micaela Laporte: The place is clean and quiet. Front staff were nice. People seem to have masks on, but one of the nurses had a wornout basic surgeon mask on with the mask weave flaking out while others have newer masks. This is confusing. They had no covid practices in place. They did provide an sanitizing pump at the door and everything is as regular business.
Erin Elizabeth Mac: I can’t say enough about the staff here. From the front desk, to the nurses, doctors and phlebotomists as well, everyone there genuinely cares and has compassion. I had come to Duke Fertility after almost a year of failed medicated cycles and ovarian cyst removal/laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Eaton eased my anxiety during the first visit. I proceeded to have 5 failed IUI cycles (they recommended 3 for me but I wasn’t quite ready for IVF and wanted to try 2 more). When we finally decided to proceed with IVF, they walked me through the whole process and were extremely detail oriented, and really helped us understand the process. I was very nervous about the egg retrieval since I’ve had problems with procedures and sedation in the past, but they really put me at ease and are a well oiled machine there. Our little boy is due in September via IVF and we couldn’t be more grateful to the staff at Duke Fertility!
Samantha Rieger: After two years, 10 cycles, 1 miscarriage and DNC, we finally decided to switch to IVF. Sent all our info to the financial counselor. No one ever called us. Left countless voicemails and emails without response. We finally just switched clinics (with better communication) and now DFC is saying I owe money without anyone ever contacting me back again leaving countless voicemails and emails. Duke billing says I have to talk to someone from DFC but good luck getting them to call me back. Thanks for sending it to collections and hurting my credit.
Anonymous GIRLLOVINGJESUS: We love Duke Fertility Center. They went above and beyond for us. We went here after trying another place that was rude and insensitive to our fertility issues. We were nervous as going thru IVF seemed so scary, but Duke was so supportive. Drs and nurses always return phone calls and answer questions with confidence. Dr. Muasher was wonderful and very caring. He even told us he would pray for us when they were afraid that I was at risk for losing my oldest child. We had to do 2 IVF retrievals and 3 transfers before I finally got pregnant but we now have a 4 year old and a 12 week old as a result of our last retrieval and last 2 transfers. I am hoping to have one more child in the next 2 to 3 years if God allows it and will definitely use Duke again. I actually have an appointment with Dr. Eaton in a couple of weeks to discuss egg retrieval for freezing so they will be available when I am ready as I am almost 41 and am afraid I won't have any eggs available if I wait until we are ready to transfer. Dr. Eaton did my surgery to remove my tubes and I have no complaints on that either.
Christina Barksdale: Dr. Hurd, Dr. Price, Dr. Muasher and Dr. Smeltzer are all wonderful. Kind and caring nurses and office staff. I would give the entire office an A++

Vladim Bobrovnikov, MD: what do users think?
Syd ney: Dr. B, I can not recommend a more personable and professional doctor who takes time to truly care for his patients.I wasn't taken seriously by other doctors and was told that my symptoms were "just anxiety" and sent on my way. Dr. B has given me the best care and discovered I had an underlying Thyroid disorder causing my symptoms, and truly listened and wanted to figure out what was going on and causing my symptoms.I can not recommend Dr. B enough.
Kimberly Rivers: I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Bobrovnikov. He was very competent in diagnosing and treating my issue. The surgery he performed went flawlessly and my recovery was fast. Dr. Bobrovnikov is extremely thorough and compassionate, taking time to address all questions and concerns. He is genuinely interested in his patients and one of, if not the best, physician who’s ever treated me for anything!
VICKY ABAR: Switching from my previous provider to REPLY was the best decision I could had made. Dr B. Takes appropriate measurements to make sure Little Mateo and I are monitored closely. I would definitely recommend Dr. B to anyone!
Jamie Harper: Dr B. Is very thorough and professional in his job. He is kind and compassionate and makes you feel like you are a family member and not just the next dollar sign. He takes the time to explain everything and helping you understand every detail. I highly recommend Dr. B. For any of your obgyn needs.
daulton48: I have never met a doctor who has gone so far out of his way for a patient. The compassion and care he has is unlike no other. He made himself accessible any time day or night for any questions or issues that came up during my pregnancy.Fast forward a few months to when some complications started to arise. My blood pressure was starting to rise and pre-eclampsia signs were setting in. Every appointment was more detailed than I have ever heard of someone having with a provider. The extra testing and ultrasounds he did to double check on things is the reason why we delivered a healthy baby. We found out that the baby was having growth restricted issues that were brushed off by a high risk specialist that I seen and Dr. B was not on the same page and still kept an eye on the growth with each appointment. It turned out I was having placental abruption which I was playing off as Braxton hicks contractions. When I mentioned it to him, at my next appointment on December 9th he was concerned and did an ultrasound himself where he noticed the bleeding and abruption. That, along with the pre eclampsia and a blood pressure of 178/100, he immediately had me sent over to the hospital where I met him and we delivered a very healthy, but tiny, 5lb 7oz baby girl via C section at 37 weeks 1 day.Without Dr.B being so involved and overly invested in making sure this little girl came out safe and healthy from the beginning of this pregnancy, it probably wouldn’t have turned out with a happy ending. Most providers do not go the extra mile if something that seems small arrises and it becomes over looked. Not Dr. B.I continued to have pre-eclampsia issues after delivery which he monitored and has been extremely involved in getting me through it and working with medication to control it until It’s gone. Even going as far as calling me every few days to check in on me during my recovery. If you are lucky enough to be able to be seen with Dr. Vladim Bobrovnikov you will not regret it and I promise you, your concerns will be heard and nothing will be over looked or brushed off no matter how little it may seem.I honestly can say I do not think there is a more passionate provider who really does have the best intentions for his patients than Dr. B.
Abhimanyu Kumar: He is very good, explains everything in detail and always shows cool and calm, Very supportive.
JACLYN BROUSSARD: I’ve had many Obgyn Doctors over my 6 pregnancies and I wish Dr. B had been my Dr for all of them. He was attentive took time to discuss any questions and all concerns you might have about your treatment. Genuinely cares about you as his patient. I was referred to him by a friend who felt he was fantastic and I am so glad I switched Doctors!
Jenifer Monge: Dr B is the most caring, gentile, thorough, kind hearted Dr I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He takes his time and makes you feel as if you are his only patient. I recommend him to everyone.
Valerie McBurney: After meeting with Dr. B I feel I need to share how truly amazing he is. I had anxiety before my appointment because for years now I have had no luck. Doctor after doctor and I was sent off with the same response of "your just depressed ", "it's a mom thing your going to be tired". Well not with Dr. B. He not only listened, but discovered I have been living with something that could have been managed years ago. When we are constantly told something from someone especially by a doctor, even though we know it can't be right. We over time start to believe it. I had given up hope and was barely getting by in my normal everyday activities. I knew it shouldn't be this way, but what could I do? Now the reason I'm leaving this personal of a review, is because I know there are others like me out there. I finally found someone that not only listens but truly cares about his patients. If you have been through the same make that appointment with Dr. B. He is helping put my life back on a path, I'm not scared to go down anymore. Thank you Dr. B!
Destiny Freeman: Dr. B is a great, caring, compassionate provider. He answers all your questions and doesn't make you feel rushed. Definitely recommend!
Extreme 2x: I can not say enough great things about Dr Bobrovnikov. In January of 2021 I had a hysterectomy. Dr B discussed everything in detail with me during my pre-op appointment. I never felt rushed and he took time to make sure all my questions were answered. Once he completed surgery he made sure I understood everything and answered any more questions I had. You don’t find physicians like him these days. Great bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable, and you can tell that his patients are his top priority. I highly recommend him for any of your OB/GYN needs.
Angela Godfrey: I had a good experience Doctor Bobrovikov was a wonderful doctor I thank him for doing my surgery and I will recommend him to anybody I had a good experience at the hospital and with Dr B doing surgery he is a very caring doctorthank u for ever thing he is the most understanding doctor he listens to you and he tries to help you in every way possible I would highly recommend him to anyone thank you Doctor B I can't say it enough
Brittany Gautier: I had a cesarean February 1, 2021 and it was the easiest and least painful experience ever! It has been two weeks and I can barely tell I even had surgery! Dr B is the best doctor hands down! He has checked on me multiple times and makes sure I understand everything. From pregnancy to after surgery he has really been A blessing!!!
Kate Pulito: I had my first child 8 years ago in April delivered by a doctor who (thankfully) no longer practices medicine in Lee Co. The delivery was an absolute nightmare. My son was born weighing 9lbs & 15oz via emergency cesarean. I had terrible after effects that are still problematic to this day from this said doctors negligence. After seven years I thought I just wouldn’t get pregnant again. It was to my greatest joy to learn I was expecting again this past April of 2020. Though after my traumatizing first experience I was admittedly horrified. Doctor B came recommended to me from my general doctor as one of his specialties was second time c-section scar revision. Let me tell you, from the very first visit, I knew this absolutely was the doctor for me. Never have I met a doctor who is more knowledgeable, caring and sensitive to his patients needs. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process to the point I could call his office at any time and would get a personal call back that day. He spent so much extra time during our visits answering my questions and kept me totally informed of what would happen, what could happen that I never felt alone or scared. There is nothing more comforting he could have given me than peace of mind. He delivered my beautiful 7lbs 14oz daughter Gigi via scheduled c section on December 7th 2020 as I listened to Miles Davis in the background of the operating room. No lie. He created a calm scene for someone who was traumatized. He healed me. There is not enough good for me to say about Doctor B. If you want someone to treat you like their family, this is the doctor for you. 10,000% recommend!
Melissa Page: Dr. Vladim Bobrovnikov is an AMAZING, AWESOME, INCREDIBLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, FANTASTIC MAN & DOCTOR! At the age of 55 years of age, I have seen many, many doctors over the years I can finally say I meet a doctor that I know cares about ME! He is a young man that I can not say enough good things about as a man and a doctor. At first I thought, now what does this very young doctor know.....I WAS SO WRONG! Many doctors are about their ink pen and their script pad but not Dr B. He takes the time to go over everything, he leaves no stone unturned. His family has to be beyond proud to have such a fine young man in their mist! His doctor skills are those of a doctor I never thought I would meet. The Sanford area has a true gem in Dr. B. I will be dragging all my family, friends, and any woman that is looking a great obgyn to see him. Thank you Dr. B for being the doctor you are! Please Please never let ANYTHING change who you are!
Sherell Stevenson: I highly recommend Dr. Bobrovnikov if you are looking for a doctor. He is very thorough, knowledgable, kind and caring. I particularly appreciated how he helped to educate me about what was happening before and after my surgery. During my office visits he talked me through the process and answered all my questions. He was available after my surgery to answer questions or discuss any concerns. I have never had a doctor give me their cell and say call me if there are any problems. Dr. B. did just that after my surgery. As his practice continues to grow I hope he always maintains his excellent bedside manner and thorough method of questioning, educating and providing care. Many thanks to Dr. B and CWHC!
Ginger King: All I can say is, I wish I had met Dr. Bobrovnikov sooner. From day one, I knew, I had found my doctor. I'm located in Raleigh, so its a bit of a drive but I know I'm receiving the best care that is out there. I've been dealing with doctors for thirty years, since the age of 16. Never have I met a doctor that takes the time to listen to any concerns that you may have. Usually I get the wave of the hand and you'll be fine. Unfortunately, I would always be the 1 in 10 that would have some type of complication. Dr. Bobrovnikov, on the other hand, made sure I had a clear understanding of what was to be done, the options I could take, what and if any complications that could arise and backed me up on whatever decision I decided to do. To me, he is a true blessing.
Stacey Thompson: Dr. B is one of the most kind, understanding, and patient doctor I’ve ever seen. He really listens to you, and he truly does want to help you with anything and everything. I could not recommend him enough. 12/10.
Camila Hull: Dr. Bobrovnikov is an amazing doctor! He is very informative & goes above and beyond to ensure patient comfort & understanding. He puts his patients first & is genuinely a good person.
Miranda Manfredi: He’s an amazing doctor! I’ve been going to him for a bit now and he’s always been super attentive and informative! He takes his time and is very gentle!
LUNDI LITTLE: Dr. Bobrovnikov is currently taking care of me with a pretty complicated pregnancy. He is what I have been missing in my last few pregnancies that unfortunately ended in miscarriage. I came to him because I knew that he would not just brush off my questions and concerns. It was extremely important to me and my husband that I have a provider who would take our concerns and fears seriously and We definitely found this in him. He will be the reason that I stay and deliver with Central Carolina OBGYN.

Carolina Conceptions: what do users think?
Claire Almay: My husband and I came to Carolina Conceptions after 2 years of trying to conceive. We felt like all chances were lost, but we regained hope after several meetings and tests were completed by Dr. Bowling. After 7 months of treatments (medication, trigger shot, lots of tears and prayers), we conceived our two healthy twin boys! We could not be happier with the treatment and empathy we were provided through Carolina Conceptions, we will forever be grateful that we got to grow our family in this imperfectly perfect way.
Michele Kerns: I’ve been a patient a Carolina conceptions since 2019. I was seen by Dr.Bowling and she did a full work-up I was found to have a uterine septum and endometriosis. The best treatment for me was to do IVF I moved forward with this treatment and at first I wanted to wait we used other treatment options like medication first. I was able to successfully get pregnant through IVF. Dr. Bowling was very patient with me I really was negative and didn’t think I would be a mom but she always encouraged me to keep trying! She told me “women that become mothers don’t give up” so I didn’t give up! I highly recommend this clinic. Dr Parker is also very nice and knowledgeable I was seen with him a few times. The office staff is very friendly and my favorite nurse was Courtney she is very compassionate and knowledgeable about infertility. I also really connected with Sandra the financial supervisor she is very down to earth! And easy to talk too! I also recommend to look on the CDC before choosing a fertility clinic you’ll find that this is one of the best in NC.
Emilee Rutter: Highly recommend Carolina Conceptions! We had the best experience working with Dr. Johnson, as well as Dr. Park and NP Karen & PA Lexie. Every visit we were welcomed with positivity from the front desk staff and continuous support from the lab techs and nurses. After three medicated IUI cycles, we are expecting our first baby thanks to the help of the incredible CC team!
Zhara Hall: After 3 losses and multiple doctors, going to Dr. Johnson and going through our options was our best choice. She went over every diagnostic, option, and answered all our questions. Now my husband and I are expecting our first baby with their help and we can't be happier! I'm so sad to be moving on to my regular OB but very thankful this team was here for my family.
F: Only out to get the consultation fee. Save your money.
Daniel Haithcox: We wish we had come here first! We had been working with another clinic previously, and Carolina Conceptions is so much better. The folks here, from the front office staff to the nurses, doctors, and other staff members, are total pros, helpful, sensitive, empathetic, and understanding. They have made what can be such an overwhelming process so much more easy to handle, and the support they provide is so genuine and effective. Thank you!
D Daniel: This practice is amazing. Great communication and service throughout our whole process of undergoing IUI from everyone that we encountered. Extra HUGE shoutout to our nurse, Mrs. Karen, for taking great care of us and being so incredibly patient and informative. We could not be more happy with the level of care rendered here. This was our very first IUI cycle and it worked!!!! Thank you Carolina Conceptions!
Lilia Ramirez: I absolutely love Carolina Conceptions, infertility has been a very long journey for my husband and I about 19 years. Dr. Parks office was the best decision I could have ever made, Thank you to Dr Park & his wonderful team here. This process was not an easy process, the stuff were always friendly and welcoming. Made you feel so comfortable in being able to talk to them. We are enjoying our little bundle of joy, she is 7 months now. I highly reccomend Carolina Conceptions if you are trying to conceive, Dreams do come true here at CAROLINA CONCEPTIONS.
Emily Carletto: As a first-year medical student, I had the privilege of shadowing some of the physicians, PA’s, and nurses at Carolina Conceptions. I was thoroughly impressed at how well the practice is run. Throughout my time observing, I was welcomed and treated with respect by everyone working there. The staff is extremely compassionate and works hard to meet the needs of each patient.
Khaoula Jabour: Worst service... spent months to just get an appointment.. after the consultation they didn't file the claim so I paid everything out of my pocket.. my insurance been trying to contact the about the claim, I also left a voice message for them but no one is answering!!!!
Christopher Luntz: Does not take Tricare.
Rebekah Bibb: Earlier this year I attempted 5 iui rounds through CC. I’m not giving two stars because they didn’t work. With my blocked Fallopian tube diagnosis IUI’s were a long shot. My review is based on multiple consistent issues I had throughout those 5 months. The first was with billing. When I began there was a generous military discount, but without warning it was gone and prices dramatically increased. I also always seemed to have issues checking out or with billing.Second was that I only talked to my doctor at the consultation and for one iui procedure. Other than those two times, I got the opinion of whoever happened to be there that day. If I wanted my actual doctor’s opinion or confirmation that she agreed with the present doctor’s opinion, I had to schedule a appointment with her and pay extra just for her confirmation. The third issue I had was with ultrasounds. I have a blocked left Fallopian tube, but because of a weak right kidney, my left ovary was unfortunately the ovulation champ. Every month we found my left ovary had the larger follicles while my right only had the larger follicle on menopur one out of the 5 months. Almost without fail, every ultrasound tech would get excited looking at the left ovary and say, “You got some big ones over here!” I’d immediately feel relief thinking I actually had a shot. But then they would remember that my left tube is blocked and say, “Oh but the left tube is blocked right?” Or, I would have to tell them the left tube is blocked. It’s almost like no one read my chart which sent me on a emotional rollercoaster that would be completely avoidable. I remember having to explain my blockage to multiple techs. The fourth issue I had was with records. I ended up moving shortly after the last failed IUI and was planning on doing IVF at a new clinic. I requested my records for myself and for my new clinic. I waited the two weeks, and they were never sent. Once I’m followed up, I was told to complete the forms that I already submitted. I made it clear it was already done. Only then did they realize this and sent my records immediately. However, my records only contained my initial consultation information. It had nothing about my 5 iui attempts including medications, follicles, or if an iui was done. I had to use screenshots from my portal to get this info. Overall I felt like a number and my specific health concerns were never fully addressed or tested.I ended up at a clinic in northern VA and IVF resulted in my first ever pregnancy. I had the best experience at this clinic.CC is good if you are just starting out, but if you feel like you need more specialized care, don’t be afraid to get get a second opinion. I’ve had three friends all begin at CC and we have all gone to other clinics.
Autumn Fox: Dr. Meyer, Dr. Park, Megan, and staff are wonderful! We conceived our IUI twins after our 2nd IUI. We love the care we received during and after our IUI. Definitely recommend!
Raymond F: This place is the worst fertility clinic. We were treated like just a number and rushed through the expensive consultation. They would not even answer any of our questions. It was more like speaking to a lawyer than it was a doctor. The real point of frustration is when we were doing our consultation with finance we asked " okay how much will this be"? Finance person got up and we could hear her talking smack about us in the hallway to another employee criticizing for us for asking the cost instead of just starting.Edit: and the vague generic reply is exactly what i am taking about with this place. We did spend $1,000 in tests alone and each bill was a surprise since they would CRITICIZE IS EVERY TIME WE WOULD ASK ANY QUESTIONS!!! A MEDICAL PLACE THAT DOES NOT ALLOW ANY QUESTIONS FROM THE PATIENT SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN!UNC FERTILITY IS WAY BETTER THAN THIS PLACE COULD EVERY HOPE TO BE.
Alyssa Hale: Worst Doctors office I've been too. Don't expect to ACTUALLY see your doctor here. Nurses will do your ultrasounds, which means they miss if you have a polyp acting as an IUD AFTER you've done many rounds of the expensive IUI treatments. Also whoever does your ultrasound you have to actually tell them why you're there because they won't look at your chart before seeing you. Requesting to actually see your doctor in office won't get you anywhere, you have to wait til he/she can call you so there's another 100$ for a less than 5 minute phone call. Medicine doses will change randomly without even consulting patient.P.s. Don't offer military discount anymore, if you are like me and didn't even get a heads up.
Jade Reilly: We had a wonderful experience with Carolina Conceptions! Dr. Park and all of the staff were extremely kind and professional throughout our entire time working with his team. We will be forever grateful for the family we created with their help!
Olivia Blankenmyer: They are one of the best in this area. The doctors and staff I worked with were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. My doctor Dr. Park is extremely patient and listens to your needs. He is also one of the endocrinologists with a 5-star review in the United Health Database. I just graduated from the clinic and I look forward to working with them again in the future.
Shelly Freeman: I had a consultation with Carolina Conceptions before we were ready to start trying due to a medical condition that causes fertility challenges. At the time I just wanted to know my options. I was advised to lose 12 pounds to be in the optimal weight range and told that would help the frequency of my ovulation (they did no bloodwork to know if I was ovulating or not). Fast forward to a year later, covid started, I hadn't lost the weight. Given that it was 12 pounds I didn't think that was a deal breaker. I had a second appointment to start the process and was told that their clinic policy was to not work with patients over a certain bmi. This was my first time hearing this. I was told that people in larger bodies are more likely go have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc. While that may be true I have none of those things. When I discussed with the Dr. that those were the statistics, but I, as the patient didn't have them she told me it didn't matter because it was clinic policy. She said that it was less likely I would be able to carry a baby to term based on stats for health conditions (again, none of which I have). I have since undergone IVF with Duke Fertility and have a healthy baby. Carolina Conceptions has this policy in place to bolster their live birth stats. If a clinic only takes "easy" patients then they will be less likely to have issues. I would ask the clinic make this policy public so patients don't waste their time and money meeting with doctors who have no intention of treating them. This practice does not support health at every size. If you or your partner is in a larger body or if equitable healthcare is important to you look elsewhere.
Jesseca Taylor: My review is not on the doctors' care because I never got see them. In Spring 2020, my OB sent a referral to them. I was contacted so after by "Tina" (I think that was her name). She was very thorough. We decided to postpone an initial visit due to covid. In August 2020, I called and spoke with someone in scheduling. She said I needed to fill out paperwork before she could schedule an appointment. I never received the email with the paperwork. I found out a few days later that I was pregnant, so I didn't need an appointment anyway. Fast forward to October/November 2021, my provider sent a referral to have a procedure done at this clinic. I followed up via phone call, and I was sent forms to fill out via email. After completing the paperwork, I also emailed and followed by phone (left a voicemail) because I never heard from anyone, and I needed to have the procedure at a specific time. Based on a lack of follow-up from administration, I would not recommend them unless you have time to waste.
Rachel Carpenter: My husband and I received excellent care at Carolina Conceptions throughout our journey with infertility. The doctors, nurses, billing, and administrative staff were all very responsive and helpful with any and all questions in a very timely manner. Dr. Park was very caring, straightforward, and made sure to educate us about all of our options along the way. We just welcomed our son and will never be able to express how thankful we are to this clinic!
Taylor Garner: Carolina Conceptions has done a great job managing my off-site FET cycle with a facility out of state. The staff has been accommodating and kind. In the beginning, I left an unfavorable review out of frustration and not giving them a chance to change. After working with Carolina Conceptions for close to 6 months, I am certain that my initial experience wasn't a true reflection of this practice. I recommend them for anyone on this journey.

Mary Peavey, MD: what do users think?
Jessica ST: If I could give her 10 stars I would. Dr. Peavey is the most sensitive, kind Doctor I have ever encountered. I know that fertility is a sensitive issue and most docs do a good job navigating that, but Dr. Peavey genuinely cares (or at least that is the vibe she gives off) for her patients and their successes and losses. She is always patient with many questions I had, or explaining something I did understand, and there was ALWAYS a game plan and path forward.I hope I don't need her again, but if I do, she would be my #1 choice. I have recommended her to several people already!
Eddy Edna: Dr. Peavey has shown us care and compassion we dint think many doctors had left. She has been so genuine, highly informative, and just all round am amazing doc to us so far. We always so grateful we found her.
Dawn Weaver: I highly recommend Dr Peavey. After having a bad experience at another fertility clinic, I of course had my concerns meeting with anyone. During my first meeting with Dr Peavey, she explained my results that were transferred over from my previous clinic and what this meant for me as well as the next steps. I immediately felt very comfortable and had a better understanding. Each time I’ve interacted with her, she’s been nothing short of amazing! Such a genuine, nice person who cares for each patient. We are currently 7 weeks along with our first and Dr Peavey has asked us to keep her updated although we won’t need to see her any longer. Each question we’ve had through this process has been answered so quickly and directly by Dr Peavey. Thank you so much for all you do!
Catherine brown: Dr. Peavey is very sweet and encouraging! From the first day we met she jumped right in with a plan! Happy to say we are pregnant!
Beth Quinton: Dr. Peavey and the entire staff at UNC Fertility was simply amazing. They clearly understand that fertility journeys are hard and emotional and treat patients with the kindest care, empathy and respect. My husband and I felt confident in Dr. Peaveys plan for us and comforted by the fact that Dr. Peavey takes so much time to make her patients knowledgeable about the entire fertility process. I cannot recommend UNC Fertility and Dr. Peavey enough and will choose them every time for my fertility needs.
Jessica Barker: Dr. Peavey made me feel optimistic (though reasonable) about my chances of getting pregnant after other MDs had made it sound all but impossible. Her bedside manner made me feel at ease and she did a great job explaining my diagnosis and treatment options. The front desk and lab teams were always super courteous and kind as well. I'm now 28 weeks along and couldn't be more grateful to have found Dr. Peavey!
Michelle Gorski: We met Dr. Peavey on our very first appointment at UNC Fertility and we felt like we won the lottery. From the very beginning, Dr. Peavey was warm, attentive, and a wealth of knowledge. Every question, concern, or little detail was answered quickly and with thoughtful consideration. By our last appointment, we didn't want to leave. Dr. Peavey was, hands down, the best doctor we could have hoped for to help us through this process!
Annie Woodard: UNC Fertility was great we saw Dr.Peavey she was amazing. She helped us navigate though everything and we felt like she was always there to listen and help us figure out our next steps. We welcomed out son this month all because of Dr Peavey and the clinic.
Marenda Rose: I began seeing Dr. Peavey after having 2 chemical pregnancies in row. Besides all the "routine" fertility testing for my husband and I (thyroid, autoimmune, HSG, semen analysis, genetics, etc.), Dr. Peavey was also supportive and knowledgeable of several natural supplements I wanted to take. She was open to ordering any additional tests I wanted -- such as for Vitamin D deficiency and AMH/FSH -- even when she was confident those weren't my issues.Dr. Peavey and the entire clinic staff were kind and respectful even through my 3rd loss and understood when we wanted to take some time off. I never felt pressured or not listened to. Dr. Peavey made a point to sit down and answer all my questions in a non-hurried manner. She explained things as many times as I needed and drew diagrams to help us understand all the answers. After we decided to take a break from medications, we became pregnant naturally. Dr. Peavey was positive and excited for me even when I could not yet be excited for myself due to fear of another loss. I also saw Dr. Young on one occasion and he was just as thoughtful, attentive and gentle with my exam.I do not have anything negative to report about Dr. Peavey or the UNC Fertility staff. There are several REs at this practice so you'll be able to work with the one who's the best fit for you. I would recommend this practice to anyone in need of fertility treatment and care.
Cassie H: Dr. Peavey is incredibly sweet, understanding and very helpful! She walked us through everything and made us feel 100% comfortable. Thank's to her, we were able to successfully conceive our first baby.
Jessica Worsley: Dr Peavey is wonderful! She met us in the waiting room and took us back to her office. She had a full, detailed plan for treatment already set up for us. She spent a good deal of time explaining everything in great detail and answering all questions and concerns. She is easy to contact through the patient portal and always responds in a timely manner. I highly recommend her for your family's fertility journey!
Shana Hester: During the past year and a half the staff at UNC Fertility have become family to me-especially Dr Peavey and also my nurse Wendy S. I am so excited that we have been blessed that IVF has given us our miracle baby-but I am also saddened to be leaving the people that made this possible for us.
