Sarah Pratt: Sandra Stratton isn’t a designer using furniture; she is an artist who weaves dreams using furnishings. I, on the other hand, am no artist, so I came to the process with apprehension and dread. Slowly, patiently, Sandra helped me discover what I love by listening and questioning. As I watched her caress each fabric, as I heard her voice express joy at finding just the right one, as I saw her eyes light up when it all came together, I became more confident and began to enjoy the process. I drove to EA in Cary to purchase an area rug for my dining room and fell in love with a fabric. She helped me envision the fabric upholstered on a chair that was not to my liking but technically better for the fabric. With an idea from my wife for a square table without interfering legs, Jim designed and built a unique and beautiful hickory table with a natural look and black legs in the middle of the lower base. Rondall Rice: I first used Carolina Closets Plus to upgrade our master bedroom closet. They offered several designs via computer rendering, from which we selected what we wanted. I had them come back later and put cabinets in our laundry room, and most recently they installed glides/slide-out shelves in our kitchen cabinets. Great folks, nice eye for design assistance, not pushy or gimmicky--and they don't have to be. Jeremy Zeiler: From start to finish it was a pleasure working with Carolina Closets Plus. Mike came out and took detailed measurements, the next day we had proposals in our email with 3d renderings! We made some changes and he was very patient walking us through everything. We paid the deposit and a week or less later had them installed (master bedroom walk in closet, pantry, and a wall to wall bookshelf that you would swear came with the house). Jason the installer is amazing, punctual, and so meticulous with his work. Everything fits perfectly and is perfectly level. He must be very happy to work their as he takes immense pride in his work.
