Dorcas Ministries: what do users think?
Jordan Miller: I was referred here to get help. The caseworker I spoke to was incredibly rude and never followed up with me when he said he was going to. Both the caseworkers I spoke too, said they would be sending me an email, but never followed through, regardless of the multiple voicemail messages I left them.An absolutely terrible experience. One of the worst feelings is being desperate for help and having people who can potentially help you, get your hopes up and fail to follow through.Don’t waste your time.
Michael Sanders: Great place to get assistance needed. If you're shopping for a family or loved one on a budget you will get more than your money's worth. And they have almost everything. It's like a super dollar tree/Walmart
Karen Allen: We like to donate to Dorcas, however, they have gotten very particular about what they accept and the hours to donate. I don't care for that. I would prefer extended hours and the ability to drop off when it is convenient for me but I understand that they have rules.
Judith Jones: This place is always busy and the volunteers are always putting out new things. I go there to get books. I will then donate them again when I’m finished.
Amber Schmidt: Hidden gem! Always a fun time of trying to find something!!!
Mayra Lomeli: This place is Awesome! I shops at least 3 times a week and never leave empty handed. Also, prices are super affordable
Deborah J: My favorite thrift shop. Great bargains!.I never leave empty handed!
Griselda Salgado: Me en contre unos tesoros linda experiencia
A J: Great store!
aguercioni33: Great prices great staff great work being done.
Jacinta Bratcher: When I was down and out during the two times I had covid, they not only helped with me rent but also gave me a 3 month voucher to use next door at there mini mart. It's not just food they supplied but household items as well. I also saw that they help with baby needs like diapers of all sizes, formula of your choosing, baby wipes, detergent...you name it. I plan on donating to them once I'm back on my feet. PAYING IT FORWARD!!!
Gina Settle: Dorcas has the best thrift store in our entire area. I can easily spend the afternoon there. Always outstanding!
S Lee: First time donor at Dorcas. The staff in the donation zone were friendly and helpful.
Jana Fox: It's a great thrift store with great prices and sales but some of their employees are rather mean and rude. I was harassed by an older man who worked there repeatedly while trying to shop with my toddler (which is a hard thing to do anyway). Also, they open way too late (11am) and close early (5pm) and there's always a line so it's hard to go there.
Jorjor “FreddyBoy” Well: This is a very nice charity, Christian based, meaning all in need are welcome.
ANGELES OLVERA: SIEMPRE he encontrado lo que busco a buen precio.
Sheng Wu: Nice place to donate things
Mileny Perez: Excellent place Excellent service Excellent price. 😇🙏👸 😘
Rusty Shackelford: Staff is always friendly and helpful when dropping off donations. The store is a lot nicer than your typical Goodwill and far larger. If you're into thrift shopping, they are a must see. If you are into tax deductible donations, they are pleasant and for a good cause (unlike goodwill industries which is a for-profit business).
Maria Lawrence: Great price on books.
Rose Miller: Good

Western Wake Crisis Ministry: what do users think?
Melinda Burt: Western Wake Crisis Ministry is a blessing for our community. They helped me during my time of need and every single staff member I spoke with was polite, caring and compassionate.Their staff returned my calls and e-mails in a timely fashion and there was no attempt to push their religious views on me at any point. They followed through to the end and actually came through with the support they pledged. I don't have the words to communicate just how kind they were during my crisis. I would give them a million stars if I could.
Tilla Doe: When you enter immediately turn left and building on right! Thanks for the assistance Western Wake!!

King Davis: They are willing to help anyone who is in need
Ramona Loperena: Excellent services.
Quill Wellington: This isn’t exactly a problem with the building itself, but the entry point to the complex where it is housed can be tricky to see. (I would recommend adding in a tall sign to the entrance of the complex.)Be careful upon approach. There is also a major hill located on one side of the bridge, so be mindful of your car’s horsepower. The facility is well-stocked, the employees are helpful, and their cause is a just one.
Shameilya Lebron: I love this place. The people are so sweet and try to do what they can to help.
Mary Edmondson: Great food ministry with helpful volunteers!!! Also provides financial aid for those in need.
Lydie & Danielle: They help people for starting a new life by giving them resources, teaching, time and much more. They really care about those in need of assistance
Susan Miller: Great people
