D_2NDClout Lord: Came in to pickup a few item minutes after store opening today. I was greeted by a very welcoming and enthusiastic manager her attitude and smile helped with starting my day off right. Checking out was also a breeze I noticed so many fresh and different produce options to choose from will shop here for the duration of my stay in Cary.

Oscar Nemeth: Your local food lion for south Cary. Produce is always fresh and doesn't spoil quickly (like the produce from a certain merchant named Joe), great sales on food staples, and the manager specials on meat are a huge discount. My ONLY gripe is the lack of locally roasted coffee - way too many boxes of the pod coffee, very little choice for whole bean.

(Sales sheets FL employees)But most upsetting i asked for help at the self checkout and instead of 1 guy watching self checkout, we roped in another guy.All that guy had to say was "im going to help this guy first."Instead i got two rude employees.Remember Food Lion is a poor people, poor customer service store.Harris Teeter Publix Wegmans those are upper class stores because those people pay extra for... Joe McGarry: Well managed Food Lion.
Johnny Vega: Prices are decent, product selection is okay, and employees are always helpful and have a good attitude except for some of the young girl cashiers. They'll cop a slight attitude sometimes or just turn mute when asked a simple question. Either way I'm just there to get what I need. I don't waste breath on them anymore and I will avoid their lines if possible. But if they step outta pocket they will be cussed out heavily. Everyone else is pretty amazing tho.

Tracie Robinson: Not my go-to place the staff are not very nice I was trying to ask a simple question and was told that I couldn't ask the particular employee because he was not on the clock which I completely understand if he cannot show me but if I ask you if you know if there's something in the store they can politely tell me hey we do carry it but because I'm on break I cannot show you I would have been okay with that but instead he said he couldn't even answer that question which really makes me mad as a parent as a customer it just boils my skin. So I do not go to the store particularly because I believe wholeheartedly if you are an employee of any location you should be kind to all your customers whether you're on the clock or not. I do believe wholeheartedly that if you are on break that you do not need to show the customer where an item is but be polite about it I don't appreciate people being rude just because they're not on the clock so I do not come to this one very often.

It doesn't dry it very well but, there were 2 guys at the end with towels and I thought thateant they'd do a final wipe of at least the windows but no. They asked which wash I bought (the $12 one) and they said I could go. Ended up pulling over in another parking lot and drying the windows myself.

Bakery items are much better than Harris Teeter but not as good as Publix. Deli is small and limited compared to Harris Teeter and Publix.Staff friendliness is hit and miss. Some are smiling and friendly while others look like they can't wait to end their shift. Staff friendliness overall seems to be better at Harris Teeter and Publix most of the time.Finding items in this store is easy. Everything is marked well. Plenty of parking and bathrooms are usually pretty clean.

Zarathos: Great store. Definitely my go to for most anything. Friendly staff, great selection while not being a huge store. Being located by the beltine on Lake Boone Trail makes it very convenient even if you don't live or work near Rex Hospital.
Paul Cooper: Not sure what is going on with this Food Lion, but they never seem to have much stock, unlike their competitors, who have most things in stock. Pre pandemic, this Food Lion was fine. Post pandemic, not so much.
Ashante: This location heavily discriminates against EBT and WIC card users, it’s continually an issue to make a purchase here to the point I’ve opted into Instacart pick up or delivery because it’s such a clown show, today is the final straw the the cashier the same color as me with straight hair and glasses had such an issue to ring my fruit and veggies under “Healthy Helping” which the cashier 0206 was unfamiliar with. I will be reaching out to headquarters.

ZEN W: Poor customer service. Cashier forgot to scan my cooked chicken. Although I did not pay for it I still went back with the intention of paying for it since it’s already in a box. When I told him about it, he was in the defensive attitude already. He said I did not pay for it anyway. I said I would pay for it. I waited until he was done with 1 customer. Then I asked again if the box is still with him and he said yes but I have to go to the end of the line where 3 full carts are waiting. Hell no! He messed up and he wants to punish me for it? The nerve.. I left!!

I called corporate office after this person slamming my groceries and wouldn’t scan my water so I could go ahead and put it in my cart . Just ridiculous. They did nothing she is still there. Read some of the other comments there is bad views about her on them also . What’s the problem why would you allow and person to continue to work there if you keep getting bad reviews?????
Lynn Canada: Sort of old style decor, but always well stocked, and nice selection of stores and restaurants, very nice florist, very handy for one stop shopping.The Buck Jones/Campbell Rd store consistently well stocked.The Holly Springs store just south of 1010 consistently well stocked.

No Thank you: There was an employee making pedophilic statements in the checkout lane. When I told another associate how that made me and my buying party uncomfortable she told me, she “doesn’t really know him like that” and then proceeded to do nothing or report nothing to a manager or lead.Pretty disgusting comments that I overheard and I think it should be addressed.

James Woerner: Store definitely closes at 10pm not at 11pm as hours suggest. Doors were locked and store fixtures blocking the door at 1015pm.

They will greet you while scanning your items and Not just grab your items and start scanning without saying anything. They also say have a nice day upon your departure. This may seem small to some or petty but good customer service Always keeps me coming back. At the beginning of the day or ending of a day is a Great Thing to be Greeted. You never know what a difference it makes. The store was well kept and stocked. Prices have gone up and of course that's Everywhere!! But with the Food Lion MVP card & coupons it helps a lot. Hats off!! 👒 👏👏 to this Food Lion 🦁😊.
Josef Pauli: Nothing spectacular; just a trip for milk. 4 stars because milk is always in the back. A little disappointed, don't carry Fresca. Salad makings, milk and onions today. Checkouts were very efficient and lines moved quickly

Itzia: I usually have a good experience at my neighborhood food lion but today i went and at the cash register i met with the cashier Tina who was VERY rude. When i got to the cash register she was blowing her nose and scanning my items at the same time. When i asked if the bananas i had gotten were organic or not she took the bananas, checked, then basically threw the bananas back in the bag. She pointed at the tag and said “organic”. When i asked for the price of my groceries she just pointed at the screen. Worst experience ever!
