Ghada Ahmed: I have been using Cary Plumbing for over 20 years. They do good work but seriously overpriced. I just had a service call about a leak. They charged $311.03 for diagnosing a leak that they will end up opening a wall for to explore where the leak is and replaced a toilet fill valve that is $46 for three valves from Amazon which would make it only $15 for the one that they used. They charged me $42 for materials. Had they told me this I would have fixed it myself. What a ripoff of a longtime customer. Eric Johnson: Came home from a week away to a leaking water heater. Luckily it appears that it had been leaking less than a day. Since it was the weekend, and not a real emergency, called first thing Monday morning.Talked to someone who took all my information and said the scheduling people would have to call me back within 30 minutes. The person wasn't sure they could get out today. Not expecting same day, just need to get it fixed.Within 15 minutes scheduling called back. They confirmed the type of water heater and said they would be out within a half hour. Tech called about 15 minutes later that they were on the way.Water heater replaced, they were cleaned up and gone before noon.Couldn't ask for more than that.Great communication. Great response time. Very professional looking install. They recommended and installed a couple of upgrades (new house shutoff that's a ball valve and a pan under the new water heater, both things I was going to ask for anyway).We will definitely be calling them the next time.My only complaint is that their off hours message should include their hours. This most recent encounter was especially good:A Friday evening our hot water heater died, and after cleaning up the water I called the after hours line. I got a callback very quickly and was talked through my options by someone who genuinely seemed to want to help me, instead of just get my business. All options were clearly laid out, and I was helped all the way. Though they don't do water heater installs on the weekend, they managed to get me an appointment on Monday.The crew was friendly and really did an excellent job. Where the previous heater had a mix of copper and PEX pipes bent at weird angles and the expansion tank suspended awkwardly, this crew did a very professional job. Ripping out and installing all new piping (including some in the crawl space) to make sure its installed cleanly, and even calling another crew to drop off a special part to mount the expansion tank really seemed like going the extra mile.I was talked through all that they did and they even kindly humored my questions about various parts and what they did, as well as maintenance.Very impressed and will definitely use them again.

Cheryl Jerozal: I had a great experience having Eugene install a pressure regulating valve, a whole house water filter, and a new water heater. He is good-natured and it is obvious that he takes pride in his work.When I first called Eugene to get a quote for replacing our old water heater, he took the time to have a conversation with me to understand what was going on. A leaking temperature and pressure value was likely caused by overly high water pressure, and fixing the pressure should be my first priority. I decided to go ahead and replace the water heater as well, since it was over its service life, but Eugene discussed the option of waiting on that with me as well. If I had gone with the other plumbing shop that I had also contacted instead, my new water heater likely would have developed the same issue as the old one, because the root issue would not have been fixed. (And the other plumbing shop's rates were similar.)In addition to doing top-notch work, Eugene was friendly and easy to work with. We mostly communicated via text. There was a bit of waiting to get the initial quote back, but it was worth it. I was able to get on his schedule within a week from when I had the supplies (water filter housing I was supplying). When the big day came, Eugene and his assistant worked diligently for several hours to get the job done. It turned out I should have also bought a special bracket, but Eugene found an alternative way to attach the filter housing with supplies he had on hand. Nicole Valentine: I highly recommend Waite Plumbing! They just completed a full home re-pipe to replace the polybutylene pipes in our home, which had begun to leak. Of the many companies I called for estimates, they were very reasonably priced for the level of work that needed to be completed. They also were the only company that had an inspection of their work included in the package. When Mike first came to the house to do the estimate, he immediately made my husband and I feel comfortable with the scope of work that needed to be done and was the only person who checked under the crawl space to verify if we had polybutylene pipes running from the main water supply. He was patient with all of our questions and extremely responsive if we had any questions come up after he left. We were able to get the work scheduled and completed within 3 weeks of the initial estimate and every team member who came to our home to do the instillation work and drywall repair/painting was kind, professional, and efficient. They were able to complete the instillation work faster than initially quoted and we no longer need to worry about our pipes leaking! I also want to thank the Fermin, who lead the instillation, for being incredible to work with and for coming back to the house to adjust the water pressure for us to make sure everything was functioning exactly as it should be. This was a project that I was dreading but Waite's team made it simple and hassle free. It is a tremendous relief to know that our pipes are no longer a ticking time bomb and I could not be happier with the service we received. 12/10 would recommend you use Waite Plumbing!

Christina Unruh: We got many estimates on plumbing for our master bathroom remodel. During demolition, we saw that we had outdated plumbing so we then needed to add a plumbing re-pipe to the list of plumbing needs. But when Mike from Waite Plumbing came out to give us our estimate, he was like a breath of fresh air. He took a lot of time with us, showing us what he would do. He also told us that we could ask him for feedback/advice at any time by text or phone as we shopped for the fixtures for our bathroom. This help was so valuable and reduced my stress so much. I know nothing about plumbing parts so he would send pics of the different rough-ins that were needed from the place that I wanted to purchase them. It was such a relief. His price on the work was more reasonable than other estimates we got. He also quickly and easily took care of the Town of Cary Inspection and made that process completely painless, whereas other plumbers had told us that an inspection could be sidestepped, while others said the inspections would be a headache and our responsibility to get done. I was overwhelmed. But it was no problem at all and the inspectors came very soon to our home, while some of it was done virtually. The team that came out to do the work was great. After the work was completed we had a couple of tweaks that needed to be done and they quickly came out to handle those. Today one of my new delta faucets in the master bathroom was dripping. They came right away, and since they knew it was probably the cartridges (factory defect), they stopped to buy them before they came. They installed them and just requested that I get the replacements from Delta using my warranty, and then they will come by to pick them up. They didn't charge me anything for labor. Scott Bain: What should have been a straight-forward repair that took 1 hr to do (based or same repair performed before) ended up taking 8 1/2 billable hours. I had OEM replacement parts ready to simply be installed, but one part ended up being determined defective as soon as first installed (leaking). Long story short: multiple hours spent trying to fix defective part rather than just ceasing the work, having me order another one, and reinstalling it (which worked).Service:Shower repair

J C: I don't understand the other reviews saying they had fair pricing. They came out to the house twice and charged me an hour travel @ $90 each time. Their address is 1.2 miles from my house and is a 3 minute drive away. Even if they charged from job to job I really have a hard time believing it takes an hour from any two points in Cary. So that was $180 just for them to drive to the house plus the time it took them to diagnose the problem. I even did the excavating to access the line outside the home. Then they diagnosed the problem and said they had to dig up the pad in the house to fix it. After several days Terry gave me an estimate that was ridiculously high. I called a few other companies and they all came out with no travel time charge and properly diagnosed the problem. Their estimates were 1/3 or less than the price Terry gave me saving me thousands. I got it fixed in one day where Turner was going to tear into our living room and disrupt the inside of the house unnecessarily on a job that would have taken days. I would highly recommend calling Cary Plumbing or anybody else but these guys.
Andy Philpotts: I have used Turner plumbing several times, most recently they did a great job reconnecting our kitchen sink, waste disposal and faucets, very reasonable rates, gave me an estimate ahead of time and came in under that.
