Austin Ostrander: This is one of the hidden Gems in Cary Ive walked past this place quite a few times and it always catches my eye because the building is long and made of brick but really thin. I went inside and it has some cool arcade machines and really cute bartenders. But the best part is that they have really high quality hand made bar food that isn't heavy on the salt. The waitresses are definitely the best part of this restaurant. They are super pleasant, hardworking, and definitely an asset. The food is ok but nothing great, the pork but mac and cheese was super greasy and not very flavorful.Feels like this is a family run restaurant where some of the family are a hardworking bunch (waitresses and the one gentleman with a beard running food and checking on customers) and the other half of the family just killing time (woman at the front and a gentleman who walked back and forth from the kitchen to the corner of the bar, slowly, and never had a plate of food or anything in his hands nor spoke to or helped a single customer for over an hour)Overall, there is not a huge reason to return.

Mariss: After attending a local event at the Cary Theater my friend suggested we grab a late bite at Crosstown. They have a nice spacious patio area for dining so we decided to try eating outdoors. Service was prompt upon arrival. Our waiter suggested the birria tacos. He shared that the pub prides itself on " authentic flavorful tacos". My friend had grilled wings, pimento cheese balls and a salad. I had the fried green tomatoes, birria tacos by recommendation and a whiskey sour. Service was very slow outside. Our waiter had our food served to us but never came back to check on us until it was time to check out. I understand it's late night and staffing is limited. The food was very good with the exception of the fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were under ripe and too hard to serve for this recipe.The pimento cheese balls were excellent. Two of my favorite North Carolina southern classics.The convenience of late night hours until 2am, and location is unmatched for this area and the food was good. I would definitely return.

Janine LeBlanc: Ordered two orders of fish and chips to go several days ago for lunch. The fish was tender and tasty, if a bit oily and the fries were just fine. Slaw was pretty mediocre. But there weren’t any napkins, utensils or ketchup included in the bag. I didn’t think to double check before walking out and didn’t want to have to schlep back once I realized that they were missing. Restaurant really needs to tighten up their take-out process.

Jessica Cottros: Food is good, server was nice. But we were informed by the server the owners wouldn’t allow us to order a grilled cheese because it is only on the kids menu!!! I get it, we aren’t kids, but we came here and also ordered lots of other food, we did not just want to pay less for food and order off of the kids menu. We just like grilled cheese! what adult doesn’t also like grilled cheese? So strange. The server informed us the owners are “very strict” about this and there was no way we could order one unless we got it to go. Just put a grilled cheese on the normal menu then!

Grant Booth: Service was abysmal. Took forever for water refills, they brought out the food at different times, and got my friends order completely wrong. The server took almost 10 minutes awkwardly standing in front of us trying to figure out how to split the bill and he didn't even do it correctly. Only silver lining was the drinks were good. Just go to Scratch down the street!

Got drinks and placed our order and after 35 minutes of waiting and getting no refills, we asked about the status of our food. We were told that unfortunately our order had never been put in. E C: Had dinner here last week, it's kind of non descript inside but no real complaints, the outdoor patio looks nice. I had the chicken and tomato rice, delicious, others had sandwiches. Tap beer is ICE COLD, they should sell that secret! Will be back.
