I had the material get delivered early am on the installation day. Lee, the installation expert, showed up right at the appointment time and starting preparing for the installation. He was joined by Devin a short while alter. Both of them explained the installation process pretty well addressing my concerns, Job was finished as per expected timeline.Overall, I would highly recommend Blue Raven solar for simplicity, quality of work and material and delivering as promised.

The project manager Daniel explained the process nicely and suggested the power required to meet our usage. Daniel follows up on everything to get it done. The project manager helped to get the necessary permissions from HOA and Apex town. The installation team arrived quickly and installed the panels nicely according to the design. The member of the Blue Raven inspection team  Tyler Brumfield inspected the installation along with the town inspector. Tyler is an awesome guy who explained the wiring and switching nicely. The good thing about Raven Solar system is that easy to get the finance to install the solar on your roof. I recommend Blue Raven as your solar system provider.

Dwight Fowler (Quantium): So, Blue Raven was the fourth solar company that I reached out to. The first three gave me the full dog-and-pony show. 1+ hour spiels. Slick talkers. Ugh.I reached out to Blue Raven on the recommendation of my neighbor. Left my name and number on their website. They called back the next morning and I could just notice a difference. The person on the phone was very straight forward about the whole thing. I explained that I'd done my research, and had three other forms at my house, and all I wanted was someone to explain how the financing really worked. So he said he'd inform the sales person.That's how I met Megan Thomason. She is the nicest, most professional sales agent I've ever met. I don't mean professional like a lawyer or doctor, I mean she just knew her business and answered every one of my questions with straight forward answers. No spiel, just a very nice conversation with honest answers. On top of that, I think Megan is just a nice person. So, Blue Raven got my business.Now the Blue Raven team that helped us through the HOA, permitting, and installation were, in my opinion, top notch. Very on top of all the details. Lots of very good communication. Not too much and not pushy. They just kept at it. I'm forgetful, so their reminders were important for me. Just a decent experience. I can tell you that it went just the way I expected it too. What a relief.Lee, the Blue Raven installation lead showed up at my door on Friday exactly at the scheduled time, in the middle of a huge downpour, to tell me that it wasn't going to happen that day. Another nice guy. Asked if he should move the solar panels and equipment off the driveway while it was POURING rain. He moved everything to the back of the house so my wife could park her car.The Blue Raven team called later that day to reschedule. Turned out they had an open slot for Monday morning. Perfect. Lee and the crew showed up bright and early. They got right to work. Had 15 panels installed in about three-ish hours. I checked as they were finishing, and one of the panels on the end was bowed up because my brand new house with its brand new roof has a sag in the middle. Asked Lee if he could level it. " No problem, Mr Fowler. I'll see if I can adjust the clip on that side." It wasn't perfect, but it was a lot better, and not their fault, either. Their electrician had the attic and outside wired just around the same time. Hmmm, team work.So Lee and his crew had the whole installation done by 11 o'clock. They walked me through the entire setup, answered my (dumb) questions and then told me what to expect next: city inspection, Duke Energy, etc.The whole journey has been absolutely painless. It's been my best experience with tradesmen yet. I think Blue Raven is just a bunch of nice people doing decent work and striving to do it right. I have to tell you, I found that very refreshing. It speaks to a management that knows what they are doing.So, Blue Raven, I tip my hat to you and wish you the very best. And thanks for making this a very simple experience.

Lars Starman: totally adequate.we have had our panels installed since the beginning of the year and they are working well.the communication with the actual person who was in charge of install was lackluster and appeared to be pretty gendered--ie, would always call me as the "man of the house" instead of my partner who we'd asked them to communicate updates to as they were more available to respond.there were also various barriers to install that were beyond the company's control (changes to installation requirements from county gov)--this happens, but they did a pretty bad job of communicating thishowever, they did eventually give us a $500 rebate after enough complaining to meet the new country requirements to bring our install up to code

Real follow-through across all the staff instead of the all-too-frequent disconnect among sales, operations, and administration. All our questions and concerns were promptly and thoroughly addressed, and minor damage during installation was promptly addressed (and paid for). The Solarize program simplified all the purchasing decisions, but Yes Solar lived up to our every expectation, including explaining the Enlighten app and understanding our electric bills afterwards.
