This is a huge store with a lot of selection but very price (Miss Jessies leave in condish was 18.99 vs 13.99 at target).The last time I went to a beauty supply store was back in 2010ish and sadly not much has changed. The shopping experience was poor. I went in for braiding hair and there is a big selection but pricing isn't easily visible so it was overwhelming.The couple who ran the shop just look over but aren't very approachable or helpful. I forgot how uncomfortable it is to shop in Asian run hair stores as a black person. It gave me the ick. I really wanted to support a local business, but I'll stick to the target or amazon.

Shakera Vaughan: I purchased a drawstring ponytail (pretty pricey) from this location, and when I got home and opened the packaging, there were pieces of an unknown substance all throughout the ponytail. I did not put any product in the ponytail, nor did I wash it yet. When I promptly returned the item to the store, the manager Lee would not even hear me out, or do the right thing and let me exchange the defective product. He was incredibly rude, short, and dismissive. If you value your money, I would avoid this location.

My appointment was at 3PM. 3h12 PM the hair stylist came to me and said she had a problem. She was late with another customer and she didn’t know what to do.She could not commit to a time and would like to reschedule. I will travel next weekend and need to have this done. Also, my husband is taking care of my daughter and I can’t comeback during the week. On top of that, is a beautiful sunny day and I am wasting my time here. Now is 3h41 and I am still waiting. Probably the work will not be good as they need to close the store soon. Why to schedule someone close to the other customer?If you don’t want to be angry and irritated DONT COME here.This never happened to me in my whole life.First time here and I regret it.

Crystal Williams: I would not recommend getting a silk press here EVER! Bc your hair will be DAMAGED. This is the first and last time I will go to ULTA hair salon. The only reason I went bc of hearing good things. I went here on February 17th for a silk press and a trim (split ends). To keep my style, I wrapped my hair every night and oiled my scalp. (I DID NOT USE ANY ADDITIONAL HEAT AFTER LEAVING THE SALON). This past week, I shampooed and deep-conditioned my hair. A lot of my hair did not revert back to its natural state. Being an African American when my hair is straight and gets wet it will go back to a kinky-coily afro. (This was not the case) I reached out to Ulta yesterday to let the manager know and along with the stylist my hair is damaged. The stylist told the manager that my hair would revert back. (Manager was not familiar with my textured hair) Bc the stylist was with a client, the manager asked for my name and phone number for a follow-up call. (They did not call me back). At this point, I don't care if they call me or not. All they are going to say is it will revert back and maybe my hair texture shouldn't be straightened BS. I had my hair straightened 2 years ago and had no damage at all! My hair has been fried and it also has a burnt smell to it. I will have to start my natural hair journey all over again. As women, we should be able to go to a salon and not fear that our hair will be damaged in the process.

amy slike: So I took my teen in 3/28/23 to the Cary crossroads location to purchase some Elf items and let me just say the three star review was due to being treated less than a human. I was NEVER not once asked did we need help finding what we were looking for even though there were SEVERAL clerks just standing or walking around seeming to find “things” to make them to busy too help it was rather disheartening that I guess we didn’t appear to be of an ultra status. If I could give star review for an individual that obviously saw I needed help I would most definitely give 10 stars to Alexis she assisted my teen in locating what we walked the store 15 mins looking for. I will definitely only be shopping if I see Alexis working as she went above and beyond and the manager Allison VERY unfriendly

Jordan Spivey: Ulta Beauty Store #126 409 Crossroads Blvd. Cary NC, 27518.If you need ANY kind of help with ANYTHING in this store, don't hold your breath. In the 30 minutes my mother and I were in the store, there were maybe 5 total words spoken to us. There were a lot of empty spots on shelves, plenty of employees just standing in groups having a chat. When we tried asking for help, which we shouldn't have had to as we clearly couldn't find what we were looking for but of course no one could be bothered to help, We had to walk clear across the entire store to one of the chatty groups that were too busy to notice that we and others were in need of basic assistance. Then the "salesperson" that offered to help just stood there until we left her presence. She casually finished what she had to say to the other "salespeople" and then proceeded to look at us and say, "Now, what did you want?" When we told her what we wanted, she proceeded to give us a product we didn't ask for. I pointed to the spot she got the product from and said, " I want the one next to it. Not the E.D.P. I want the E.D.T. (cologne)" She insisted that she was giving me the right one, which I could easily see that it wasn't correct due to the size difference; also have had an issue with this same salesperson insisting that she's given me the right product only to get home and find out it is not. After she spent some time looking in the back she came out to tell us they don't have it but I can get it online. If that's the attitude you want to have about it, then I can get all of this online. Nevertheless, standing at the checkout and the line moved, which was not obvious to us as we were browsing, a customer tells us that we're next in line. I look up to see a good 10 feet of free space between us and the cashier. She never said a word to us. No "I can take whose next in line" or "Sir? I can help you over here." Just blank face staring at us. She never offered for mom to use her points until my mom asked about it, which then we had to cancel the transaction and start over. Attitude added to that as well. Everything said to us in the store, which wasn't much, was said with a bitter tone. Everyone in there seemed like they had better things to do anywhere else. Didn't enjoy hearing young ladies talk down to my mom like that either. Just wanted to let you all know. Hope things work out for ya.

The technician explained step by step what the girls could expect. You get to sit in a fantastic massage chair throughout the procedure. The environment was top notch and extremely professional. We had used other teeth whitening systems and services before like the Rx bleaching gels from the dentist and the Crest White Strips but didn't get the results that we got today. The flexible hours also made it easy to get an appointment. We highly recommend coming here for teeth whitening! If you have questions, call. They are very thorough, patient, and happy to walk you through the process, results, and aftercare. That's my 2¢ now you decide!

I have received 2 other spray tans in previous years from other businesses, and while happy at the time, I did not receive the above and beyond customer service as I did at Silver Sky. These ladies are committed to upping the game and bringing the customer experience to the next level. I also feel the quality of the tan was top notch here. Very happy with the fade (I did both light and medium) and even with a beach vacation and an onslaught of sand and salt water the tan lasted a solid 5 days before even showing the slightest lightning of color. Even then it was even and not blotchy. Super impressed with these ladies and this business. Nice to know you have people looking out for you and working hard to get your feedback to create the best experience possible.

The lobby decor even matched the spray tan booth!The woman who applied my tan was friendly and professional. She made me feel comfortable and welcome the entire time. She provided clear instructions, as this was my first time.My tan turned out great. I wish it would last all summer! I got the honey color and it provided just enough to look natural. The color glowed and gave my winter paleness just enough color for me to look alive again :). It was even and didn’t darken in places like my elbows and knees. There was a place on my knuckle and two fingertips that was a bit darker, but that faded quickly enough to satisfy me. The smell was ok- it was your normal tanning lotion smell, but again that faded quickly enough for me.I will definitely go back and would recommend this place to others.

The owners and technicians are welcoming and professional. I loved that the treatment room and booth are well lit and warm, (as I had an appointment on a very chilly winter evening)!I had two shade options for my spray tan and opted for the darker shade. I was not disappointed! I walked out a shade darker than I walked in, and by the time the color peaked I felt (and looked!!) like I just stepped off the beach. I had a summertime state of mind in January!I do wish I had thought to take a different shoe option for the walk to the car, as I had socks and shoes to contend with and ended up loosing some color where my socks were snug against my feet.
