Makenzie Cifers: One of the best things I've ever done for my health! When I first came to Cary Holistic Health, I had so many GI issues I'd dealt with for 5+ years, skin blemishes, I was 40 pounds overweight, and just an overall feeling of being unhealthy.Going through the program can be so daunting- especially when you're asked to eliminate a lot of comfort foods you've relied on for years, but let me tell you it is SO worth it.A year out from going through the program, I'm down 36 pounds, off all medications, taking daily supplements, and just had blood work done with ALL perfect vitamin, mineral, cholesterol, and blood pressure! I've continued the healthy lifestyle, eating all grass-fed, grass-finished, organics meats, and all healthy organic food choices. Theresa Reed: Life Changing!!!! I reached out to Dr. Maggie last year because I was tired of getting the runaround from all of my doctors.... I've been a Type 2 diabetic since 2010 and I needed a change.... Dr. Maggie's program is simply amazing.....I was skeptical at first but it definitely grew on me...being in constant contact each week with either Dr. Maggie or Maureen(Valued assistant) helped to keep me focused.... I have lost 25 lbs following Dr. Maggie's program but that's only the half of it....I now look at food in an entirely different way.... Dr. Maggie's program opened my eyes to all of the hidden sugars in our food these days... Scary!!!! Besides helping me to lose weight during my program and retrain my thinking with what I was eating.... Dr. Maggie was also able to assist me when I ran into a swarm of bees while cutting my grass....and also able to assist me with a severe case of poison ivy.....(not sure what exactly was in the supplements she provided but they worked!!)... Let me tell you, during the 4-month program that I was enrolled in there, Dr. Maggie and Maureen were a million times more helpful to me than any other doctor I have been to in my entire life. The strategies implemented for diet and stress management made such a huge difference in my inflammation, energy levels, and overall mood-- far exceeding what I was ever able to accomplish from any other source! I came to her because I am hypothyroid and on medication but still not feeling well. I learned that I have Hashimotos and how to manage it (very individualized). I thought I was healthy but I've learned so much and have made many positive lifestyle changes. Bottom line is that I am feeling better and my lab results concur!
Elizabeth Thomason: Dr. Maggie is one of the best naturopaths I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is so knowledgeable, and well versed on the body. Every visit I learn so much from her, and I always leave inspired to get back on the road to health. You can tell she really cares for you as an individual, and each visit doesn't feel rushed. She knows a lot about Alzheimers prevention for those interested in that. Although insurance doesn't cover naturopathic medicine in NC, her fee is close to my insurance copay anyway, and 100% worth it. Wilfrid Elisson: After finding out my daughter has autism through an unofficial diagnostic in September 2021, we decided to change her diet by removing dairy products. Lakshmi Ganesh: We are very pleased with Dr Zaiim’s treatment for our teenage daughter. Before we saw Dr Z, we had gone to multiple doctors to help our daughter with a headache that had no reason, but left my her in pain and misery. She also had fainting episodes and dizzy spells. Finally, after visiting Dr Z we learnt about how her body was in imbalance, with multiple vitamin deficiency and an autoimmune disorder which was caused because of heavy medication she took and a surgery she had the previous year. As your naturopathic guide, I will help you determine the root cause of your health symptoms. I offer a combination of food recommendations, lifestyle changes, herbs, supplements, and homeopathic remedies. All done in the comfort of your home through telehealth.

Rather than me making suggestions and a long list of lifestyle changes, I'll be sure to include you in the conversation and help you determine which changes make the biggest impact on improving your health and wellbeing. Don't worry, I will help you set your wellness goals and provide you with resources to get them accomplished. This journey is about honoring your mind-body connection and caring for your whole self. Let's get started! Three Wellness Sessions We will have three wellness sessions together. Please allow 60 minutes for our first in-depth consultations together. We will go over your health history and review any medical records you have, this is your time to tell me your wellness story and where you want to be. Labs may be set to your home, to be completed and analyzed before our next session. The second session together will be 60 minutes. We will go over any lab work that we have ordered, as well as your wellness plan. This is the best time to have all your questions and concerns answered. After this session you will have all the resources you need to to start your wellness journey and start feeling better! The third session will be a 30 minute follow up. During this session, I want to make sure you feel comfortable with your wellness plan and you are good to thrive! This is the time to make sure that all your unanswered questions, thoughts, ideas or concerns, have been answered. After this session- if you feel you need more time together you can reach me through your patient portal. Hello! Professionally, I received a Doctorate in Traditional Naturopathy & Functional Medicine from School of Functional and Holistic Medicine. I'm board certified through the American Associations of Drugless Practitioners. I hold a practice license through the Professional Wellness Alliance. I also have a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University and I'm Certified Holistic Nutritionist, through the American College of Healthcare Sciences. I enjoy continuing my education through the Institute for Functional Medicine and from the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine. Personally, I currently live in the tech triangle of North Carolina with my hubby, kiddo and our dog. I enjoy being outside, walking, gardening, cooking or just visiting with family, friends and neighbors. I'm from the mid-west and my hubby is from Italy. We enjoy traveling- as we have lived in many parts of the USA and have traveled throughout Europe. I have always had an interest in Naturopathic care and after I had our kiddo via C-section. I lost much of my beneficial bacteria in my gut microbiome and as a result developed severe eczema and food intolerances. Modern medicine put me on steroids, which had side effects and didn't take care of the root problem. So, I began my own research and health journey and as of today- My eczema is gone and my food intolerances are at bay. I now have the honor of helping others on their wellness journey as a Traditional Naturopathic Doctor.

Kasie Padhye: Katrina has been so incredibly helpful with recommending supplements that totally eliminated the pain in my thumb joint. She was also so knowledgeable and provided me information on how to go about a diet cleanse including what to eat/drink, what supplements to take and the duration of the cleanse in order to get the results I wanted. Lastly, she saw me on short notice to assess my sprained toe (made sure it wasn't broken) and showed me how to tape it up properly. I can’t say enough good things about her and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a naturopath guide.
