Kyle Curbow: Fast shipping and relatively responsive customer service, however make absolutely certain you will keep the product before ordering. Their return process and policy is absurd. In this situation (an unused IEM cable that cost $200); there was a 10% restocking fee, deduction of the 'free' shipping charge ($12 - shipping is only free if you keep the item) and then you pay for the return shipping (in my case, another $11). So ultimately, it cost me $44 to return a $200 cable. Lesson learned. Edit: water under the bridge at this point, but this was an Astell & Kern PEP11 cable, off the shelf, not custom.

John: Customer since 2014, everything thus far has been as described and everything including custom cables shipping in 1-2 business days.I wasn't a believer in USB cables but they really make a difference! Lessons learned, especially if the said cable has to have decent length.

Tim Durbin: Update - 03.11.2021:So much for resolving this quickly. After Drew failed to return the messages I left for him, I filed a Paypal claim on 01.08.2021. Moon Audio replied to the claim the next day with the same response posted below, yet it took until 03.04.2021 for them to issue the refund, and even that was a partial refund. Their response should tell you everything you need to know about them. They failed to apologize or show any actual concern for how their employees behaved, doubled down on the lie that caused the problem in the first place, lied again about an email that doesn't exist, and even tried to turn it around and blame me for the problems they themselves created.This company is literally one of the worst managed/staffed companies I've ever dealt with (online or off), so my recommendation would be to avoid them at all costs.Original Post:Customer service here is atrocious. I spoke to Nicole who gave me a horrible attitude before I ordered, but she agreed to confirm everything before it shipped. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and when I called in to speak to her about it, Jess answered and attempted to cover for her before hanging up on me. Obviously, this is completely unacceptable, and just about as unprofessional as you can get. I've since written an email, and left a voicemail for Drew, so hopefully this will be resolved quickly - I'll update this review then.

Daniel Perkins: Edit 6/30/20: Lies, lies, and more lies. They don't respond to you until you write a review about their LACK of response on Google. I even had to contact them on Facebook and Instagram to get a response and they gave me nothing. I know the policy. They didn't want to uphold a policy that they abide by. They stole $150 from me just hoping I'd go away. They never answered their phone after repeated calls and voicemails. If you wanna shop with them just make sure you never return anything to them. Better yet just go to Audio Advice.I returned some Audeze headphones without realizing there was a restock fee. Moon Audio took $150 of my money, during Covid times, which greatly hurt me. It was partly my own fault (they do state this on their website)--I called to see if I could do an exchange and no answer after repeated calls. I emailed them repeatedly, no answer. I messaged them on Facebook and Instagram. No answer whatsoever. If you have any kind of an issue with them they seem to just ignore you until you go away. They do state on their website you can use in-store credit as part of your "restock fee". But I couldn't even get the chance to do that because they ghosted me after trying and trying and trying to contact them until finally giving up. I'll shop at Audio Advice now, another North Carolina company, and a much better one. Their customer service is amazing and they don't charge restock fees. Honestly, Moon Audio, you guys are the worst. I thought I was doing them a favor by shopping local and supporting a smaller business. Avoid these guys at all cost. That's $150 of hard earned money I lost to a crooked company it feels like.

Keegonde: I recently had the pleasure of stopping in to view the huge selection of equipment at Moon Audio. I can not begin to express what an all-around professional, and pleasant experience the entire visit was. This is easily my new favorite place in Cary. I was allowed to listen to the set of headphones I was looking for (Sennheiser HD660 S), and also shown several other models within the same price range for comparison. There were tons and tons of different headphones, and amps to try. I never once felt talked down to, and was given free reign to make an informed decision. I have already recommended this place to everyone I know in the hobby, and will continue to do so. What an amazing place.

GoToHell: Buyers beware of this scammer - sold me a headphone amp on Ebay with a ruined transformer. Unit needed service but seller denies all responsibility and goodwill. On top of it all a very accusatory tone when trying to solve the problem. Very dishonest.And NO it is NOT the wrong company, do not even go there Drew Baird. Dr L James Valverde, Jr: These people will never see another dime from me (or any of my audiophile friends) – here’s why:1. A couple of years ago I purchased a set of headphone cables from them, from their “vaunted” (yeah, right – more on that below) Silver Dragon Series.2. A few weeks back, the right-side of the Silver Dragon connector stopped functioning properly.3. I contacted the seller via email about the problem.4. The seller took several days to reply (in this day and age, never a good sign…).5. When the seller finally did respond, it was an attempt on their part to get ME to try to fix what they thought the problem was (again, never a good sign when a manufacturer doesn’t immediately stand behind their product); their explanation was somewhat convoluted and involved (they were kind enough to include a picture), requiring needle-nose pliers, etc.6. Try as I might, following their suggested procedure, I was not successful in remedying the problem.7. After some back-and-forth, the seller said to send the faulty cable back to them for repair, which I promptly did.8. One week went by without any word from the seller, either to acknowledge receipt of the cable, nor to provide an anticipated timeline for diagnosis/repair of the problem.9. More than two weeks after sending back the faulty cable, the seller finally responded, now saying that the problem was essentially UNFIXABLE.10. The seller then explained that their cables only come with a ONE-YEAR warranty; when purchasing the cables, there was NO MENTION WHATSOEVER regarding their warranty policy; entering the word “warranty” on their web site fails to bring up any relevant information about their warranty policy.11. Having informed me of their warranty policy, the seller then offered to SELL me a replacement cable, at a 50% discount.12. Appalled at the grossness of their “money grab” – to say nothing about their unwillingness to stand behind their product [contrast this with, for example, the LIFETIME warranty that manufacturers like Cardas provides for all of their excellent cable products] – I informed the seller that they could keep the now useless cable they had sold me.Buyer beware.

I drove from Knightdale to this one, it really is the best in the area. Staff is very helpful and honest, with great opinions and recommendations. I’ve found that in addition to the invaluable insight, they have genuine interest in what I’m building or designing.They’ve also helped to correct issues from other stores, whether it be issues with pickups or orders, or other stores not honoring policies (return, protection plans, etc).
Anthony Hogan: One of the better Best Buy’s I’ve been to in a while! Wouldn’t you know it, an employee asked me if I needed assistance. I didn’t need it but nice that it was offered. Especially in todays time.

Sydney Golden: Went to geek squad to get my iPhone 13 Pro battery replaced which was quoted at $89. I’ve literally had this phone for just over a year and the battery is defective. I got there and I have a small crack in my phone and he tells me that I have would have to pay almost $450 for the crack and battery because they can’t work on iPhones without fixing everything that’s wrong with them. Then when I asked if they really can’t just fix my battery the guy says “well we could - we’re just not supposed to” and then doesn’t offer to help at all. Giant waste of time.

Kaycee Thompson: I’ve been coming here since 2015 for all my electronic needs. The last few years, maybe due to the pandemic, I started shopping online instead. The only thing they offer better than other stores is hands on tech support. If you buy the geek squad protection for your device and it breaks beyond repair, they’ll give you a new one. In 2015 they were open until 10pm and now they close at 8 making it nearly impossible to get off work, make dinner and still have time to make a run there if I needed to. I went there yesterday for the first time in about 6 months and the customer service was subpar at best. I brought my iPad in with the intentions of deciding which keyboard case I wanted for it. It was between two expensive brands and I wanted an expert opinion. When looking at the cases, the security alarm went off which attracted someone I could ask for input from. The employee stood by me as I compared the cases and I asked her questions about them but she didn’t know the answers. I had already done some research online so the knowledge I came with is the knowledge I left with. I did see a streaming microphone that caught my eye, so I thought I should go check the selection of those. There was only one to choose from, but 2 colors. Next time I’ll just buy what I need from Amazon instead of wasting my time and gas to go to this store where nobody knows anything and the selection is sparse. Very disappointed.

I’d like to particular praise to their designer, Nick Rich. Nick has been an incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful guide in all things Home Theater and HiFi alike. I don’t hand out this highest of praise easily, but it’s very much earned and deserved here with Nick.
Arthur Seger: Just finished setting up my new home theater with Anthem MRX 1140 and B&W speakers. Anthem receiver can be quirky (but it’s worth it) so I needed reliable support and advice that AA provides. I was helped by an incredible rep, Seth. He was responsive, patient and knowledgeable. The result is an awesome home theater.

The latest reason is because of an experience I had with James and Guillermo. They are the best in the biz.There were able to take a very complicated challenge involving way too many remotes, a surround-sound system downstairs, a new TV, and speakers and TVs on the second & third floors of the house. They were all out of sync and they did not sound right. Now it’s like I have an entirely new system installed and everything works perfectly. We have a vintage stereo set with a CD player that we wanted to be able to put on our WiFi system without losing our hard wired speakers. Larre took the time to get us exactly what we needed. When the vintage system didn't quite behave as we expected, he even made a house call to get it set up perfectly. An excellent customer service experience! Highly recommended.
mark masters: I first came across Audio Advice when researching turntables. Their review videos were super helpful and I purchased a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo from them. Love it and the setup tutorial vids were great. Since then I’ve purchased a couple other turntables for friends. One was defective and Audio Advice helped me pin down the issue and then paid for express return shipping to speed up the replacement. I’m a customer for life! And a shout out to Marty and to Michael for their outstanding service.
Anthony Leto: Stay away!!! unless you want to loose your money, Audio Advice says "Since 1978 Audio Advice has built its reputation on world-class customer service and satisfaction" but what they don't stand behind is ensuring that what they are shipping is in fact covering both the Business and the Consume and all they can say is 'Sorry for your Loss" well Audio Advice I did not loose someone I lost $1800 due to bad business practices.Just keep in mind if you order form Audio Advice you are on your own if you package is lost or stolen because they wash their hands of it after it leaves the warehouse!!!!As for me I will never use Audio Advice again and will make sure I tell as many people on as many forums as I can to stay clear or be warned of the possibility of losing your money!!!!
Randall Beck: Audio Advice is the absolute best if you are looking for top audio and/or video equipment.This month we purchased a new TV, an integrated amp, a turntable, a streamer, an A/V receiver, and several other components/cables from them. I was blown away with the knowledge and experience of the sales team – shout out to David Link, Ernie, John, and Larry – all of whom are extremely passionate about all thing’s audio and video. With their combined suggestions, we ended up with a setup that should last us for many years to come.But the story does not end there; the Audio Advice Installation team – special thanks to Guillermo, Thomas, John, and Mastin – spent a day and a half at our home. The methodical and careful way they unpacked and cabled up all these components was a pleasure to watch. Not only did they label every cable, but they were careful to check and double-check their work at each step along the way. I am so glad we engaged with the Audio Advice Installation team as I had no idea how complicated it is to get all the components to work well together.In summary, my wife and I could not be happier with the result, and we highly recommend Audio Advice if you need any quality audio or video components. They really know their stuff.

old Handsome: I consider myself an entry level audiophile. But when I go to play my albums, to me, they've always sounded a little flat and muffled. I did a little research and had a new higher priced turntable in mind to buy. Audio Advice had the turntable I wanted in stock. The sales person at Audio Advice wasn't enthused with what I wanted to buy. So I listened to him, let me re-type that... "I listened to him". And I am so glad that I did. The sales people at Audio Advice are KNOWLEDGEABLE. And the turntable they suggested was actually a little less expensive than the one I did research on. The turntable they suggested, and I bought BTW sounded AWESOME! My albums sound cleaner, vivid, and more alive... I was astounded at the improvement in sound! So, in conclusion, if you are in the market for high-end quality audio equipment, go to Audio Advice, and go with an open mind, you won't regret it.
