Siena Sansone: I just want to say thank you to the blonde employee with bangs that made me feel like hot garbage for asking for assistance. There was a specific item I was looking for and I politely went up to her asking if she’d help me find it where she then didn’t even look at me and said with attitude in her voice “IF ITS NOT ON THE FLOOR WE DONT HAVE IT.” I tried to show her a picture at least of what I was looking for and she just repeated herself and dismissed me. I then thanked her for her time in which she replied “MHMMMM” Five minutes later I saw her take her apron off and tell another coworker she was “putting herself in time out” and she left the store. Clearly this employee has an attitude problem and doesn’t want to work. I didn’t think a simple polite question would set her off. Thanks for ruining my morning in a store I usually enjoy going to. I hope she has the day she deserves.
Pamela Jones: Homegoods and was blown away by their garden pot selection. They have such a wide variety of styles, sizes, and colors to choose from that it's hard not to find the perfect pot for any plant. I ended up buying several pots for my garden and couldn't be happier with my choices. If you're in need of some gorgeous pots to enhance your outdoor space, Homegoods is definitely the place to go!

Kimberly Oliver: Went to my local Home Goods which I’ve shopped at since it has been in the shopping center.I was next in line at checkout and waiting for the automatic voice to tell me which register would be open next..yes, I was on my phone when I heard the cashier say ma’am over here. The automated notification didn’t go off and her register light wasn’t on. As I got up to the register the cashier said…”You need to pay attention we are busy”Kind of irritated me because….first of all they weren’t even that busy.. definitely have seen the store a lot busier in the years I’ve been shopping here. And second, I was paying attention by listening to the automated notification to tell me when the next register would be available.Not hating on the store… still found some nice stuff at good prices but this was a very unpleasant experience.

Tom Warfield: I was in the market for a small rectangle end table that would sit beside a recliner in a space that a round or square one wouldn't look right. I went up and down Glenwood avenue and stopped at most of the furniture stores, no luck. I went online to Wayfair, Amazon and others, no luck. I then came here and they had two, of the many offered, that would work perfectly. They were less expensive than other stores and online.

E N: Holy cow the smell! I almost choked on whatever perfume is in this store! It seriously was like someone spilled a 5 gallon bucket of Calvin Klein cologne in this place. I was coughing and choking and had to leave as fast as I got in there. If you have any chemical sensitivities or allergies please do not walk in here you will definitely suffer for it. I don’t but I cannot tolerate strong smells and this was the worst. I have walked past perfume stores in malls that were not even this bad. What the heck! So I have no idea about the contents. I saw some basic stuff like Hobby Lobby or JoAnns or Michael’s. Nothing really special. I’d rather go to TJMaxx/Homegoods or Ross.

Amy B: I was in the Apex location earlier this morning and the reason I am giving two stars is because there are some friendly staff there. However, I'm assuming this woman I witnessed was a manager and I tried to get close enough to get her name (and couldn't make it out) but she was a bit older and had reddish hair. The way she was speaking to her fellow employees while they were restocking and rearranging was incredibly disrespectful. I couldn't believe it. It doesn't matter how old the employees were but she was speaking to women my mom's age as if they were new teenagers on the job (also wouldn't be OK in that case). I felt so bad for these women. Someone please address this???!

The check-out line takes 30+ minutes to get through, and then when you get home you find that 2 of your 3 products are broken when you remove the wrappings.I honestly thought I was saving money by buying photo frames here instead of a nicer store. But the frames are broken and the price stickers are stuck directly onto the glass, so even if you get intact frames you will spend 20 minutes per frame trying to get rid of the sticker residue on the glass. It is just not worth it. Most frustrating experience.

I started reading the reviews and was like omg. It seems the only complaints is either there to expensive or because of the parking. Well.. don’t park there when you’re not supposed to! Signs are clear. As far as expense … it’s a consignment and gift shop. If you can’t afford to shop there go to a cheap thrift store or habitat that you can afford. As far as how the people act when you come in? Not one single time have they ever been rude or not pleasant not once. So in saying all that if you want a fun place to go this is a gem. Didn’t expect to write one this long but I sure get tired of people using reviews as weapons against great businesses. And this one I highly recommend. Thanks
Lynn Canada: This place is sooo much fun to just look or shop. If you can take time there is no telling what you may find. If you are specifically seeking something you just may find it and some pleasant surprises. They do seasonal and holiday themes, have sales, have good parking, nice location to get in and out of. Can use as your birthday treat shopping spot, or find something special for a friend or collegue. Over time some changes to inside vendor areas, never a disappointment, always interesting. Very nice staff.There has been some changes to the layout, and still wonderful to look through. You can go with a list, or just look. I always find lots of interest, and items to purchase any time of the year. Sometimes the vendors are there, always pleasant people!3/23...has been reorganizing...very nicely set up, so many wonderful things. As usual I bought a gift today, easy. Still a delight. Staff wonderful.

Stephanie Kistler: Do NOT park in their lot. A friend and I both got towed because we were going to Bull City Ciderworks and thought the lot was safe to park in. We were inside no more than an hour so they must have someone monitoring the lot - keep in mind this is long after The Perfect Piece had closed. I guess they would rather be predatory and make $225 (cash only) off every car they tow rather than just enforce paid parking like everyone else. Then to top it all off, the attendant at the very questionable looking tow lot lectured us about how much these people pay in rent for the building each month and how this should be a “lesson” to us. Truly unbelievable behavior.
Amber Schmidt: This place is a hidden gem! We love going there but it’s all about the hunt. Somethings you can find for a great price and other things are over priced but it’s all about that search. The people working there have always been pleasant and Ive been going for several years now. Side note: it doesn’t hurt to go to the front and ask if the vendor is willing to take less for a particular item.

This location will cause Home Goods to lose me as a long time customer. The associate Lois, and store manager Agata should be looked at by corporate and possibly retrained. Agata seems to think her store is a privately owned franchise location and will not accept returns from other locations.
