Sadiye S.: They put homeless in my house, her name was Robin Alexandra Yefko, she ruined my life, damaged my car, house, stole my personal papers, I got 2 operations after that bad experience happened to me, j was helpless but they didn't do anything, how they slept every night when I was in trouble with police, court,.I can sue them what they did to me but I have no power and knowledge how to do, my life was messed because of Family Promise of Wake County on Method rd..
Raymond Whitaker: I was trying to donate, and the Reception lack care. She told me that they do not expect clothing donations, but she will tell me where I could go. She gave me a fictious name, laughed, then got off the phone. I feel caring is primary when working a job for others. Not for a person who gives negative input that will make people not to help at all.

first Last: This place you have to go to churchs no shelter and talk a bath there to none at the church's if you work early you will not be able to wash good cant have a job that has you out pass ten if you work early and have kids you have to drop them off after you leave the church before work but the place doesn't open till 7 my kids was going to have to stay outside for two hrsSet up plan is for people who do not work and need them to help them find work and they must depend on the family promise staff not for a family that working and fell on hard time and need help finding a place or shelter until they get straight you can only bring two weeks of clothes for a three month program doesn't make sense

M M: They never gave me chance to find a job and help support my family. I was out of work due to health reasons which they understood and they were supposed to give me a chance for recoup time but they never did. Also the counselors will say one thing and the next day they'll have something different to say. And when the counselors will say they will meet you at a certain time they never show up at that time. Just what I thought you use the same reply to cover up something.

Wrenn House provides a safe, legal, and responsible environment for youth who run away from home, who are homeless, or are otherwise in a crisis situation. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Wrenn House is available to any youth age 10 – 17, with priority given to youth from Wake County and Raleigh.
For more than three decades, Wrenn House has served those experiencing crisis by providing a diverse range of services including: temporary shelter, counseling, case management, referrals, and a variety of life skills, all within a therapeutic and safe environment that promotes individuality and empowers youth and families. Our program provides a safe haven to youth where they can find the freedom to realize their full potential, which is often minimized when involved in systems over which they usually have no control.
Wrenn House works closely with Project Safe Place to coordinate convenient and accessible locations in communities where young people in need can find immediate help. Young people come to Wrenn House voluntarily. The length of time varies from 1 day to 21 days. Young people staying at Wrenn House are expected to attend school. Transportation is provided to Wake County Schools. There is no cost for youth to receive services from Wrenn House.
Safe Place provides access to immediate help and safety for all young people in crisis. A national network of thousands of businesses and other public locations across the country, Safe Place extends the doors of local youth serving agencies by displaying Safe Place’s recognizable yellow and black diamond-shaped logo. Safe Place offers help to youth ages 10 up to 17 years old with no costs associated with their services.
Using a mobile device, text the word “SAFE” and your location (address-city-state) to 4HELP (44357).

Jordan Miller: I was referred here to get help. The caseworker I spoke to was incredibly rude and never followed up with me when he said he was going to. Both the caseworkers I spoke too, said they would be sending me an email, but never followed through, regardless of the multiple voicemail messages I left them.An absolutely terrible experience.One of the worst feelings is being desperate for help and having people who can potentially help you, get your hopes up and fail to follow through.Don’t waste your time.
Michael Sanders: Great place to get assistance needed. If you're shopping for a family or loved one on a budget you will get more than your money's worth. And they have almost everything. It's like a super dollar tree/Walmart
Karen Allen: We like to donate to Dorcas, however, they have gotten very particular about what they accept and the hours to donate. I don't care for that. I would prefer extended hours and the ability to drop off when it is convenient for me but I understand that they have rules.

Jacinta Bratcher: When I was down and out during the two times I had covid, they not only helped with me rent but also gave me a 3 month voucher to use next door at there mini mart. It's not just food they supplied but household items as well. I also saw that they help with baby needs like diapers of all sizes, formula of your choosing, baby wipes, detergent...you name it. I plan on donating to them once I'm back on my feet. PAYING IT FORWARD!!!

Jana Fox: It's a great thrift store with great prices and sales but some of their employees are rather mean and rude. I was harassed by an older man who worked there repeatedly while trying to shop with my toddler (which is a hard thing to do anyway). Also, they open way too late (11am) and close early (5pm) and there's always a line so it's hard to go there.

Rusty Shackelford: Staff is always friendly and helpful when dropping off donations. The store is a lot nicer than your typical Goodwill and far larger. If you're into thrift shopping, they are a must see. If you are into tax deductible donations, they are pleasant and for a good cause (unlike goodwill industries which is a for-profit business).

Marrakesh Rose: They had an open house on Saturday 04/02/22. John stopped responding to my emails and I was not aware if I was confirmed to attend or not. I decided to still take the drive on from Fayetteville to Raleigh and was 3 min late due to a wrong turn my gps made. When I arrived the lady at the front desk was just looking at me through the doors for like 2 minutes before she decided to come and open the door. She told me that I am not allowed in for the information session because I am late. I explained that I was coming from Fayetteville and it is only three mins. She had negative 100% sympathy and stated sorry "John is a stickler for punctuality" and that I needed to reschedule. I walked out and decided there is no way I would want to work at a place that operated on such an unrealistic and rude way. Thanks but no Thanks. Three minutes .........seriously? 1 hour and 20 min drive? I am moving to that area in 1.5 months but I have no desire to work at company that callous.
