Meghan Hayes: Class flies here with great music and great instructors! Kasey knows how to motivate a serious workout while having a ton of fun!
Kelly Shanley: You can only cancel your subscription in person. I have gone twice and given my information over a week. I am still being charged. I just got charged with a 25$ late fee. I have no idea what their problem is in canceling my subscription when I have followed their policy in canceling in person.

CYCLEBAR: what do users think?
Patty Phinney: The instructors are fantastic & I highly recommend this studio if you’re in the area & looking for a great studio. However beware when signing up for a recurring membership. I submitted a request to cancel in April & am still being charged each month. I have e-mailed them after every charge with no response. Very disappointing after the great service I received as a member.
S I: Never went
Gabriela Nagle Alverio: I had the best experience at Cyclebar! I accidentally signed up for the Cary location and Matt was super kind and helped me figure it out so that I wouldn't lose my credit. On top of that his class was AMAZING! His energy was contagious, the playlist was fire, and he pushed me to get a killer workout! Would definitely recommend!!
Erin Barnes: Matt is amazing! He really motivates you to give it your all and be your best potential!! can’t wait to try out more classes!
Cameron Ramos: The best staff that give it their all to make the members experiences great with every visit. They truly care!
Emily Harrison: I cancelled my membership several months ago over the phone with their employee Rosie and they continue to charge me relentlessly. They refuse to contact me back. I can’t ever get up with anyone to talk about why I’m still being charged and it’s clear that they don’t care. Good luck getting your credit card information back from this company once you give it to them.
Kelli Kaspar: I just joined and the classes having fun and challenging and are a great cardio workout.
Janice Cutler: This place has been a major disappointment. Prior to Covid forcing them to close, I had been cycling here for a little less than a year. While their communication and responsiveness struggles were frustrating to me at the time (no response to voice mails or emails regarding billing issues), I overlooked it because it was close by and I enjoyed the instructors and classes. They were always friendly in person. They did decide arbitrarily to cancel the Mother’s Day ride without telling me (I showed up with my daughter and no one was there). This was frustrating on Mother’s Day 2019. They had no excuse except they “forgot” to let me know. Fast forward Spring of 2020 when they were forced to close for a while…When other gyms were allowed to open, they did not. They did not communicate to customers for many months, even though some of us had rides still that we had paid for. I received no answers to my phone calls and emails except “we will let you know when we will reopen”. No judgment if they had issues precluding them from opening, as this is understandable due to the difficult circumstances of a pandemic, however their communication and transparency was non-existent. The most clear communication was when they asked (shortly after closing due to Covid) for money in the form of gift cards to help out the staff. I happily obliged and sent them $50. Then nothing until October 2020 when they put out a schedule. I signed up and 2 days before my ride they announced they wouldn’t be opening after all as planned. After a few months and hearing nothing/no replies to my inquiries, I tried to get a refund for the rides I had purchased and couldn’t use. I was told that it couldn’t be done. I tried corporate-same answer. Then in June 2021 they started selling memberships for months on end, later saying they’d open in September. Then they didn’t. Then they said it’d be October. Then it wasn’t. Finally, Nov. 2021, they opened with a mask requirement. It was enforced—until it wasn’t. This was just a few days ago (Monday, Dec. 27th) during an Omicron outbreak. I left in the middle of class when people started taking off their masks and no one said anything. When asked by the front desk why I was leaving, I nicely explained. She looked shocked. She knew my name, because she checked me in without my telling it to her. Today is Thursday. I have heard nothing from these people. I honestly don’t think they care if I come back, which is surprising to me since their classes are sparse. I texted them to ask if they’d be enforcing the mask requirement. Nothing. No response. I’m done. Finally. I have no idea if this is the same owner as before but whoever this is they certainly seem to think they can ask an awful lot of customers. They’ve lost my trust and I will not be back. There are other places to go. I tried hard to give them chances and be patient. Just tired of being jerked around.
Lance Williams: Great gear and facility. Staff is really helpful without being over-the-top!
Dan Wise: CB Brier Creek has the best staff and instructors. Genuinely showing interest not only as riders but personally as well. I've been to several other CB locations locally and outside the triangle that just don't compare. Keeping most of the core instructors over the years has allowed CB of Brier Creek bestow a family atmosphere. Thank you!
Erin Jernigan: Love CycleBar in Brier Creek! Instructors are motivating and I always get a good workout.
Xavier Villalobos: I'm so happy to have found this place! I've gone a couple times now and I just love it! The staff, the bikes, the facility, the good vibes, and the awesome workout is all top notch!! I will be coming here regularly. No doubt!!
Cali Buhrman: I have NEVER had as much fun doing cardio as I do at CycleBar! I just started a few weeks ago and I am so mad I didn't start sooner! All of the instructors are great—they are so helpful and always know how to push you through. Love Erica's class! Took my boyfriend to it last week (who is super athletic and played college baseball) and he said he hasn't had that great of a workout in a while! Definitely try CycleBar - you are stronger than you think!
Deborah Ann Williams: The CycleBar at Brier Creek gives me life!!! Also, the team helps me feel good about inviting people as guests because of the red carpet treatment they give members and guests. I love it! My friends who visit brag on the kindness and welcoming spirit the CycleBar demonstrates. They also comment on how they don’t feel any sales pressure. The instructors help me to feel valued during the cycling sessions. I feel accomplished with every ride. Thank you.
Currin: Amazing in every way!
F. Coley: Friendly staff
Peter Del Sordo: Good spin cycles.
Shani Alston: I enjoyed my experience at Cyclebar Brier Creek. So much so that I signed up for a monthly package after my first ride. The instructors are engaging and fun and encouraging. The front desk staff is helpful and nice. The studio is clean, bright and modern with awesome music. I did not have an issue until I canceled my membership in September. Unfortunately, their studio manager Caitlin Gillespie is not running a competent operation. Everything is fine if you're paying the recurring monthly charges. But if you'd like to cancel your membership Cyclebar is no different than any other predatory gym, due to their manager. Apparently, she is the only staff member who can cancel a membership and she does not take that responsibility seriously.I canceled my membership in September. Apparently, when you cancel the membership, you have to pay a 30 day cancellation fee, which is basically paying one more month. This was not adequately explained to me when I signed up. They framed it as just a month to month membership you can cancel anytime. I wasn't sent home with any paperwork. However, in reading around the internet, I found this fee in the fine print. So I accepted I would be charged one more time before my membership was officially canceled. I canceled my membership and returned my paperwork to Caitlin via email. You have to sign a membership termination notice. I was charged again approximately 10 days later, which was my September billing date. I emailed Caitlin to confirm that the September charge was my final charge and my membership was now canceled. She agreed that was true. However, it was not true. I was charged again around 10/28. My membership was canceled in September, so I should not have been charged in October. I emailed the manager, Caitlin, again to let her know about the charge. She said that she would refund me and my membership was canceled. She said expect the refund in 5-10 business days. I checked my bank account during that time period and beyond. No refund was ever posted. I emailed Caitlin again on 11/18 to let her know that no refund had been posted. Caitlin didn't respond.I was actually about to let it go... because I'm busy and I don't really have time for this. I thought, one more month, okay, lesson learned for me. Don't trust these people who try to sign you up for memberships with deals that only last for the moment you are in their gym. However, when I was charged again in November, things hit the fan. I knew something wasn't right. Caitlin didn't respond to my last email so I certainly wasn't going to email her again. I went to the studio to speak to her. She was not available. However, the studio staff looked up my account and saw that it was still active. That explains why I am still being charged and why I never received the email that Caitlin promised me.So I have been emailing and driving 10 miles out of my way multiple times to resolve something that should have been taken care of in September. My membership should already be canceled. As you can see, Caitlin is giving me the run around for something that requires a very simple solution. I can only blame her as studio manager since no one else on the staff has the ability to solve my problem. It's very unfortunate that she's painting her studio and staff in a bad light. In terms of a workout, this is a 5 star establishment. In terms of a business, this is a one star. They only want your money. I would think very hard before you trust them with your credit card information. Enjoy the free class and go. I'm sure this issue happens more often than is reported.
Marissa Rogers: I attended my first class with Kiersten. She was so helpful and relatable. She encouraged me throughout the entire and made me feel comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back! (The mimosas were bomb too 😉 )
Manda Edwards Miller: I've been going for over a year now and I love it. It's a great atmosphere, music is great, and the workout is effective. There's a variety of class times every day, which accommodates my schedule. I haven't had an instructor I didn't like. They all have different styles, but all are upbeat, motivating, and personable. I especially like the fact that I can monitor my personal performance, and see how I've improved over time. You can access your "stats" online and via mobile. And, you never have to worry about a bike being available, because you sign up beforehand.
Daniel Gioia: Not only are the classes filled with fun from the awesome music and theater-style lighting, but they're also jam-packed with encouragement from both the instructors and riders. CycleBar Brier Creek really has made a family among Raleigh's cycling enthusiasts and really anyone who's looking to better themselves, and it's ever-growing. So glad to be a part of it all and always feel welcomed.

CYCLEBAR: what do users think?
Katherine Smith: Cyclebar is AMAZING. I tried my first class a couple of weeks ago and have now taken multiple classes with Matt, Amy, and Elyse. I totally love everything about the classes. The instructors are empowering and encouraging. The first time I went the receptionists were extremely welcoming and helpful with the bikes, too. I'm 1000% going to continue taking classes here and would highly recommend!
Dave Behrens: They don't call him Michael Hill for nothing! Shout out to morning crew Lindsay, Elyse and Kiersten!!
Ty Lauten: I have rode at other Cyclebar’s in the past, but the Raleigh-Midtown location is truly one of a kind. The instructors are absolutely amazing, helpful, and motivating! The front desk staff are also so friendly and always have a smile on their face. I love that Cyclebar provides shoes in order to clip into the bike, and this particular location gives you cold towels after every ride. All Cyclebar locations also give every person a free ride, which is great for trying something new and how I got into classes over a year ago!
Greg Hoff: This CycleBar is like cheers, where everybody knows your name. It is a great place to get in monster cardio shape and tone up your legs/glutes
Caleb Trentham: Absolutely LOVE Cyclebar in Raleigh Midtown!! The staff and instructors are incredible and extremely welcoming!! Highly recommend if you want to be a part of an incredible fitness community!!!
Alexis Kraft: Always had a love hate relationship with spin classes until going to Cycle Bar in North Hills. I love some of the teachers there and everyone is so nice!! Shoes come with the class which is important for me because I don’t plan to invest in cycle clip shoes.
Autumn Mist Belk: Great instructors and helpful staff!
Harvey Slade: I am not who you picture at a spin class, but I love it at this Cyclebar location. The instructors are all different and fun, the facility is clean and well set up, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Everyone is encouraging, and it's 100% okay to not be a top athlete.
David Edall: The best cycle studio in town. From the staff to the instructors the experience is phenomenal.

Ashley Stephenson: I have been going to Cyclebar since October 2019 and I couldn’t imagine starting my day or enjoying my weekend any other way! I’ve lost 85 pounds thanks to the best instructors and their motivating and fun theme rides. Thanks to Matt, Elyse, Carter, Whitney, Lindsay, and everyone else who makes this place so awesome.
Lindsey Allen: I never in a million years thought I would go to a spin class let alone start a membership and come on a regular basis. This team of instructors have made me feel beyond welcomed, and push me every time. I sometimes come in dragging my feet, but I never leave without inspiration, motivation and feeling like a million bucks. Each instructor brings something new to my spin, and I am forever grateful for them!!

Sarah Timmins: I LOVE CYCLEBAR! All the instructors are great and the workout is SO fun! I can't recommend this enough if you're looking for a fun way to get fit. Everyone I have brought to class with me has loved it. My only thing is I really like the playlist feature on the app and I wish more of the instructors used it.
Alex Raynor: Love this studio! The best vibes and a great workout!

Ritual Raleigh: what do users think?
Thomas Logan: I am back in North Carolina for a few weeks a year. I am so thrilled to find Ritual Raleigh. The owner Misha J. is a very welcoming person and has built a business that makes you feel welcome from the first visit. I appreciate that Ritual Raleigh has high quality equipment (compared to other spin studios I have tried in Raleigh). Their bikes are sturdy and do not move when you are doing exercises on the bike. I also appreciate the lever on the bikes that allows you to quickly adjust resistance.A huge benefit is how easy it is to park and attend class on time. There are no worries about spending time circling around and up parking levels. I'm able to park very close to their studio and get right in to class.I also have found that the people that teach here play better music and are more enjoyable as instructors than other spin studios I've tried in Raleigh. If you haven't tried Ritual Raleigh yet, you should!
Justin McCarther: My and I enjoyed our first time in a cycling class. Staff was very friendly, facilities are clean, and the music selection was great. Great location in Raleigh. I highly recommend coming here regardless of experience if you want to have fun, and be healthy at the same time.
Zachary Perry: Ritual Raleigh is a great atmosphere with GREAT music!!! Me and my wife love it here. I highly recommend Ritual Raleigh whether you are new to cycling or an experienced cyclist!!!
Steven Merritt: Very professional and helpful the employees are very much caring and understanding I would recommend to anyone to attend
CJ Magwood: Wonderful spin studio ! The music is energetic, the staff is friendly and the environment is very inclusive.
Eric Cooper: I have a top-notch experience every time I attend classes at Ritual Raleigh. The studio provides an intimate experience that you do not get at a big box gym. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to work out in one of the pods that ensured enhanced safety precautions not found in most spin studios or gyms. The experience, the environment, and the people were simply the best. Ritual Raleigh is genuinely a vibe!
Jasetta Perkins: Great studio. Very Clean. COVID friendly as you ride in your own pods and staff is super helpful. Best chance I ever took on a Groupon. Will continue to go.👍🏽
Tiffany Levins: 👍Had to update my review has this place is amazing. Ive now been cycling about a year and the music is so versatile and amazing and the studio remains clean and emaculate following covid guidelines. Plus im in much better shape since joining.
Sandra Dunn: Ritual Raleigh is amazing👍🏼 I love the courteous front desk staff and all the instructors. This is a workout totally outside my comfort zone but I’m so glad I tried it. The studio is super clean. I will now continue to incorporate cycle into my routine.
Jarret Johnson: Clean pods, Excellent music, best place to work out in the 919 area
Shamika Murray: Ritual Raleigh is where you want to be. Class was energetic, the equipment was clean as well as set up in the pods and the music was diverse. What more could you want in a cycle studio? Misha was very friendly and helpful making sure I knew how to adjust my bike for the ride and what a ride I had. I will be back the next time I am in Raleigh.
Vicki Bradley: Such a fun atmosphere. The playlist is always poppin’!!Misha is one of the best and you can tell she really enjoys what she’s doing!
Sheena Johnson Cooper: Great experience at this studio! Staff is extremely accommodating and the class was challenging in the best way possible. If you are looking for a top notch indoor cycling experience in Raleigh, this is the place to go. Plus, they are extremely thoughtful when it come to cleanliness and safety. Who doesn’t want to cycle in their own pod! Go to Ritual Raleigh. You will not be disappointed!
Gabby Humphreys: AMAZING RIDES AND TEAM. I don’t even know where to begin I love this studio. The atmosphere is so welcoming, warm and most importantly fun. You feel included and apart of their family the moment you step in the door. 🖤
Kelly Walls: No matter what level you cycle at, you can find your people here. They will offer you kindness, support you, and motivate you. If you are reading this review and are on the fence, please take it as a sign to try it out. If you are intimidated, please still try it out! You will not regret it. I can’t say enough good things about this studio and the wonderful people here who make it so great.
Alexandra Hart: Went to my first Ritual ride yesterday and it was amazing. The team was awesome Dree and Chris were fun to ride with and it was overall an amazing experience. I will definitely be back.
Molly Wilkins: Ritual is the best place in Raleigh. I’ve been cycling studios and the energy, music, and customer service is unmatched. All of the instructors are unique and teach amazing classes!
Herm Harold: If I could give it 0 stars I would. The music terrible, and its outrageously loud. By far the loudest gym/class workout location I have ever been too. Hopefully they turn it down 400Db soon, because I would love to go back and give it a second shot. Location is very convenient.
Lilian Chan-Grant: Everyone was very helpful and enthusiastic. I was impressed with all the precautions taken to ensure that each bike was both isolated yet a part of the group. I took the class because of inclement weather, but it will definitely be an option I consider in the future.
Aleece Ollison: Class was fun and I enjoyed the way the bikes were set up in the pods. Music was good and pretty diverse. Also, Misha was very friendly and helpful making sure I knew how to adjust my bike for the ride. Equipment was top notch. I will definitely use this cycle studio whenever I am in town.
richard brown: Great cycle experience!! Visited first time recently. Very friendly atmosphere and staff, high-energy fun instructors and a very safe Covid-conscious studio. I'll be back!!
