Brian Chang: My father always told me you need to find a good, reliable, trusted jewelry repair shop where ever you live so that when you break a clasp, have to get a ring resized, or get a necklace fixed, you have on that you can count on. Well, for me, that jewelry repair shop is Treasure Isle.It is located in a strip mall and if you didn't notice it, you probably drove by it once or twice before, but if you do go visit, you will find the nicest people on the planet! :) Steve has been the guy that has taken care of me, so if you are reading this review, be sure to ask for him. He's got a corgi that keeps him company in the back so it's cool to see them interact.I usually come here whenever i buy a new necklace or pendant that I need to get fixed up - I love to wear Catholic crucifixes and symbols to remind me of my faith - but I have a tendency to have them break and I've lost more than I can remember. Well, now I go see Steve at TI and he welds the clasps so that I never lose it. :) There was this one time where he helped me out, I forgot my cash so he told me next time I come in to bring him a dozen donuts for him and his workers! I still owe that to him but I'll bring it in one day! Lol :)Anyway, if you like nice jewelry and need a trusted local small business to go to, then this place won't disappoint you! Been coming here for 6 years now, and I'll probably keep going till Steve finally calls me out on the dozen donuts I owe him! Lol :)
David Hall: I cannot recommend Treasure Isle strongly enough!! Brought my eyeglasses in for a repair I was pretty sure they would not be able to do and I was expecting to have to purchase new frames for over $300! To my surprise they fixed my frames in a couple hours for just $35!! It even comes with a warranty, if the repair breaks they will fix it. If they can't fix it they will refund the $35. Very rare to find this level of premium service especially in these Covid times when good help is nearly impossible to find!
Dawn Dixon: If I could give no stars I would!!!! Jared jewelers recommended this store to have an antique piece of jewelry repaired as they didn’t have the right silver to do it!! I took it in and a few minutes later they came back out with the piece broken!!! They claimed “it fell apart in the jewelers hand”!!!! I had just had 3 other jewelers look at it and it was in one piece after. I would warn you about taking any of your precious jewelry to this place unless you want it broken!!! 😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬

For starters, to remove a couple links off of my boyfriend’s watch took maybe 5 minutes max and for such an amazingly low price. And during that time, I met Diane at the front and she let me try on beautiful rings for fun while I waited and just made the visit so pleasurable! Such nice, wonderful people and their little corgis are adorable. I HIGHLY recommend checking out this place for any repair or jewelry purchasing needs! I’m definitely coming back!

They did not just have one or two special edition Seiko watches they had every one, so needless to say after and outstanding experience, fantastic prices we walked out of the store with two PADI SE divers watches watches for our anniversary. Ted Fort: I know there are a lot of positive reviews for this place on here. That's why I wanted to use them, and to support a local business. Unfortunately, I just had one of the most bizarre and unprofessional interactions I've ever had with a business. I went in with my fiancée to have her engagement ring resized. The woman who waited on us gruffly looks at it, looks at my partner, and says "you know this is a fake diamond, right?" It's moissanite, which is what my fiancée had wanted. The woman then says "you know we can put a real diamond in there, honey" like she was pitying us.This was bad enough, but then she walks to the back and loudly says to one of the jewelers "this ring needs to be resized. It's 10k. Fake diamond" as loud as she could. This woman truly wanted to hammer home that I should somehow be ashamed of myself. They didn't even seem confident that they had the ability to resize it. I gladly took the ring and left. Not only was she extremely rude, I wouldn't trust them to work on the piece anyway.Hopefully other people have better experiences, but the idea of trying to shame a couple in front of the entire store was pretty absurd. It's a shame that they make it impossible to support a local business. Maybe the rest of the staff is great, but this lady (I didn't catch her name but she was middle age, heavy set, very short grey hair) shouldn't be interacting with customers.
Cayla Juliana: This afternoon I had another exceptional experience with Johnson's Jewelers of Cary. I had several items to be repaired and resized. I was waited on immediately and given options for the resizing, pros and cons of each. They evaluated some old costume jewelry and didn't charge me for it. They quickly repaired one watch (very reasonable cost) and after trying several times to repair another one, let me know it could not be repaired but also wouldn't even charge me for the time trying to fix it. They are an awesome, family owned company with fantastic customer service.

But this year, after getting a quote for resizing a wide ring at another shop I stopped by JM Edwards just to see. To my surprise the quote was virtually the same but the courtesy and service were incomparable. And, not only would they resize my ring, they would also tighten the center stone, and my receipt included a valuation of the ring.The store is beautiful. A rich variety of jewelry. The careful attention that I experienced was outstanding, so much so that I have already returned to sell a couple of gold pieces and fix a bracelet that kept hooking sweaters. I also plan to get two stones reset. JM Edwards is known for creating custom jewelry onsite, yet they were exceptionally helpful as I sought simpler services. What a pleasure.

Sarah Young: Lost a diamond in my band and they did not even bother to match the color of the diamond. The new one sticks out like a sore thumb. They also MELTED the gold OVER the diamond in order to keep the new stone in. Fortunately we were within our one year warranty so it was free because I would have NEVER paid for that. Yes they are reasonably priced but you get what you pay for.

I've dealt with the woman, who I find very nice and really appreciate her honesty, the older gentleman, and the younger one. All three have been fair and honest. I have taken broken things in and they will honestly tell me that they think it's not worth the money to fix and then NEVER bother me to buy anything else. I trust and appreciate this business very much. Btw, when they told me it wasn't worth getting fixed, I got a second opinion and they said the same thing.
Joseph Watkins: After visiting other jewelers, we went to amir's and found a ring which my girl loved. The owner (or at least I assume he was) beat every other price we had, including an 850$ ring at 100$, he beat it. I recommend amir's for a good deal if you look at other places first.

Ever since then, Joint Venture has been my go-to place to shop for my wife. Several anniversaries and birthdays later, I’m still going back. Donna and Lee (and their family) have always provided a warm, helpful and welcoming experience. They always have a great selection and are never pressuring. If you’re in the market for something special for your loved one, do yourself a favor and check out their wonderful store that has been a long standing fixture in Cary. You won’t regret it!!

Beth Kirsch: I’ve been a customer at Joint Venture for years. I was introduced to Donna and Lee by one of my college friends and now I stop at Joint Venture almost every time I’m in North Carolina. They provide excellent customer service. I fully trust their opinion and Donna knows me well enough to pull all the right pieces for me to try. Over the years I’ve bought everything from everyday staples (for example, a pair of aquamarine earrings I wear regularly) to unusual earrings and necklaces as well as converted brooches to pendants which are now quite practical. On my last trip, I came home with a stunning pair of sapphire and diamond earrings. I appreciate their expertise and will surely be back sometime this year!

They walked me through everything else - design, materials, costs, insurance, common pitfalls, appraisal, style, and tips all along the way. They were truly invested in my success and as excited as I was the whole time. They made me much more confident in what I was doing, that she would love it, and even how I would deliver it.At no point did I feel pressured, up sold, ignored, or felt any condescending tones. Perhaps some people are sensitive or insecure and don't want to be told directly what is truth. Unfortunately they will be taken advantage of somewhere else.The negative reviews seem very emotionally based and usually a response to hard-to-swallow pills.My take is they are an honest, hard working, family owned business doing amazing work.This business should be on your list if you are dealing with anything fine-jewelry or gem stones.Full disclosure - my budget to build a ring was 4k. They were less than or equal to other fine jewelers in the area.

Annie Murray: This has been my second visit to this Jared location, and it seems that customer service could be a bit more consistent. Some sales associates are warm, friendly, kind; others are very different.The wait time before someone approaches you to see what you may need was also disappointing. I was in the store trying to make eye contact with an associate for more than 30 minutes before I was greeted or helped. There were two other women in the store at when I arrived who were experiencing similar issues. One had been waiting for 45 minutes, the other half an hour. One woman mentioned she had a 2 year old wedding band purchased with Jared that had two diamonds that had recently fallen out. When an associate finally got to her, she stated her issue - diamonds falling out of her new band - and there was oddly no reaction from the associate. No apology, no acknowledgement of the hardship, no pledge to help make things right. Just an, "ok, I'll get my computer". Very strange. Hopefully an unusual situation, or just a tough day in the store.

Maddie Derrick: Manju helped us choose our wedding bands, and she did a phenomenal job! We came in with a vision, and she helped us execute it with 2 semi-custom bands. Our bands are complementary to one another with similar diamonds and styles but different settings. Manju and Norman were extremely helpful when we picked up our bands as well, making sure everything we needed was in order to wear and take care of our rings long term! We’re so happy with our rings and can’t wait the 3 months to be married and wear them all the time!

Mark Amico: Not impressed with customer service at all. We ordered ear rings back in January, after three months and over a dozen calls asking where our order was we couldn’t get an answer. So I started asking for the manager every time I called and always got the same response “he’s on the phone “….. not once in all the times I’ve called and inquired about my order and left dozens of messages not once did anyone call me back! Today I went in to get my money back and the sales person that waited on us knew exactly who I was when I told her. She went to the manager and he already had the paperwork ready and came up to the register to key it in for her and didn’t NOT even offer an apology!! Poor customer service! I’ve spent over $10,000 with Jared and will not spend another dime!! I’d have been happy with an apology but that was beyond him! The sales clerk offered her apology but it was too late! Sir lead by example! Treat your customers with respect!! You need to go back and learn it!!

They helped to create a set of beautiful rings for me, so I went back to have them create a necklace for myself. I continued to be so impressed that I went back and had them create a ring and necklace for my daughter - using the stones from jewelry her father had given to me during our 35 year marriage and prior to his passing.... so these pieces were important!! I was able to make an appointment and they did the appraisal and actual resizing in our presence. Many jewelers wanted to send it out or be left in their store for the repair and come back a few days to a week later. He was even recommended by another jeweler I had contacted in addition to people in the community where we live. Everyone in the store were great and very knowledgeable. They can change your watch battery, find you a nice piece for your anniversary, pierce your daughters ears and even buys gold and some old jewelry. Brad Spalango: My mother had taken some jewelry to be fixed at this business. The estimated price given was $50. This sounded fair so she went ahead with the process. A little over a week later we went to pick up the jewelry and the bill had come out to $96. This is almost double the original estimate, which in my opinion is way too far off and not how you do business. A call should have been made to let her know before going through fixing the items. When the bill is in front of you and the business has your jewelry, there is nothing to do besides leave the jewelry with them or pay the unfair price.
