When I complained about this, the manager told me that it was my fault because I should have told her earlier not to use rotten fruit when she was preparing the item! $*#!?**

Sam Towns: Hard to know what to rate because we were told about this location by the employees of the other location that we previously ate at, and they said it was open every day except Monday. We drove really far to get here, and it had a sign on the door that said it was closed. Really disappointing. It was already a late lunch for us and we had to drive 15 minutes longer to find the nearest Chipotle before we headed back to the airport. Lesson learned... Always call before you go to a business that's far away and when you're on a tight schedule.

Jaee Carr: This is the only SK where I have to specifically ask for a thick smoothie - which they still can never properly make. In all other SKs I've been to the smoothie can literally be flipped upside down like a DQ blizzard. Maybe the standard is different here but the inconsistency is frustrating. I live 5 mins away and my smoothies are completely juice by the time I get home. Contrary to what the staff says ice does not thicken the smoothie because it melts and then creates a watery mess.

Jim Measday: I’m a regular customer at this location. Always had great service from the employees and the husband and wife owner team. Went in today for the Veterans Day special offer. The older lady was rude and said I needed my military ID card. I’m a veteran not active military therefore I have no id card. I brought in my DDForm 214 to prove in a veteran but she wouldn’t even look at it. Just gave me attitude. She did make a smoothie, not what I ordered by the way. But dropped it on the counter, turned to walk away and said in a very sarcastic voice “have a nice day”. At this point I would have loved to take my tip back but didn’t.When I reread the email from the company it does say with military Id. Shame on them that’s not a veterans promo it’s an active military promo which I’m all for by the way just don’t try to capitalize on Veterans Day when it’s not for veterans.The company either doesn’t understand the difference between active duty and a veteran or is internally misleading in its advertisements. The franchise which again I like has one terrible employee. All she had to do was tell me I need an id and I would have left.Not sure I’ll ever patronize this company again if this is the way they do business which is sad because it’s the franchise owners who take the blunt of the criticism. By the way there’s no way to give corporate feedback either or I would have sent this to them.

It is very comprehensive and you can pretty much get any kind of smoothie you want!This location is small and in a shopping center. The staff was not super nice and I didn't feel extremely welcome, despite being the only person in the store.I was feeling sick so I got an Island Green smoothie with a few boosters. It was really tasty considering how much spinach and kale was it it. The prices, though, are high. You will probably have a better experience supporting a local business over getting a corporate smoothie here.That being said, just like McDonald's this place appears to offer consistency. Give them a try.

April Turner: So the food was good…. But one of our party ordered a bowl, and got a wrap. The kids working behind the counter were to busy playing around in the back where no one could get their attention. We were seated waiting for a secondary order and they took it, sat it on the counter without calling out the order so it sat there getting cold. We had to ask where it was, we had to ask for a fork then and they had disappeared to the back again! I am all for enjoying working, but if you can’t get the orders correct and people have to continuously hunt for you and YELL to get your attention because you can’t hear over your music playing in the back. Laugh, giggle, by all means; but you are at work… do your JOB!

angie hall: I visited this place a few years ago and my very first experience was not a great one so I never tried it again until today and I can say that this time was bit better I was having trouble with my gift card and the staff help me figure it out and the avocolada was very good, I'm very big on being greeted and a staff that provides customer service which was not what I got the first time, today made up for it, so I will more than likely return to try something else on the menu.

Came in, floor dirty, stains on the walls, layers of dust hanging from the ceiling vents. Airpods in and not being friendly, I tried to kill with kindness and simply asked the employee as I was ordering if the 2023 GoPlaySave coupons that say "participating locations" were going to be accepted at this store. I was given short responses attempting to avoid answering me. I again super kindly asked if I the manager might know the answer and got "they aren't here". I asked if I was to write or call in could I get the info from them and the girl responded "they won't answer, no one will answer". Awesome.Have some class, treat your customers kindly, clean and maintain your store, don't berate a customer who buys four smoothies regularly over a school fundraiser coupon for one. There are plenty of Tropical Smoothies around, so we are taking our business up the street...

Aerieal Vineyard: It’s really rare for me to leave reviews on places because I understand how stressful it can be working in customer service jobs such as Tropical Smoothie, however I’m extremely annoyed and disappointed with this specific location (Crossroads). EVERYTIME I go in, the people working ALWAYS have the worst attitudes. I just went in a few minutes ago, and the staff that was working were just annoyed to be there in the first place, they were being sloppy with how they were doing stuff, and when the guy finally decided to take my order he literally had both AirPods in and barely responded to me when I spoke with him. When I paid and said thank you, he didn’t reply he just walked away and went to the back. When they gave me my smoothie and meal they had the worst attitudes about it and said “here”, and again when I took the order and said thank you, literally silence said nothing. If you are providing this kind of service, it seems like it’s time for a new job. Every single staff member that I’ve encountered has acted like this. It’s weird and just rude.

We ordered our food, and after about 15 minutes walked up to the counter where our a half soggy smoothies were sitting, apparently they never called our name and somebody else grabbed our food, so after back-and-forth with those young gentleman that works there he just turned around and walked off. Assuming they would fix our order I said back down, same young gentleman looked at me and had no idea what I was asking for after we just went through it is 10 minutes prior. One lady in the back shoulder to him” I’m remaking the order” , I told him they need to work on their communication, and I just got a shoulder shrug. I sat back down and after about another 10 minutes another worker stepped out beside the cash register with a major attitude handed us our food, no apologies, no I’m sorry , nothing. Worst $30 I have ever spend and I will not return very very disappointed

Haley Davis: Everytime I order here, my order is wrong or poorly made. I used their free delivery promo for orders over $12 and never even received my smoothie or extra sauce I paid for. So I had a cold soggy quesadilla with no ranch to eat it with, and no smoothie. Then customer service said there’s nothing they can do because delivery is through a third party so there’s no way they could deliver my smoothie and my side. I tried calling over 7 times and nobody picked up! The employees here are lazy and unprofessional. Find a smoothie king near you instead.

Elizabeth Clifton: I wasn’t going to write a review - I saw some unsanitary practices like no hair nets for people preparing food, but I’m not that picky and they’re just kids working here. Our food sat done on the counter for a long time I had no idea it was ours until we had waited an unreasonable amount of time and I went and asked. First bite when I get home I pull out a huge clump of hair- see pic. Threw my $9 salad straight in the trash. I just wasted half an hour of my lunch break and my money.
F Wright: This was the worse ordering experience. Never order online. I ordered and it said delivery time would take approximately 30 min. Once I paid it told me an hour and a half. I immediately tried to cancel and it wouldn’t allow me. I called and spoke to the manager on duty who said she couldn’t cancel - Sophia. An hour later I received a phone call confirming I still wanted the order. It’s now almost an hour and 15 minutes later and still no order. Then estimated order of delivery time changed to 12:09 pm. Still no order. The system is whacky and it doesn’t work. Poor customer service and poor online ordering system. I do not recommend this Tropical Smoothie location.
Lauryn Murphy: On the early morning of July 6th, 2022 I had the worst customer service experience of my life. I always use my app (get those points) and pick up my smoothie it’s easier. I literally live in walking distance of this cafe. I grab my smoothie and drive off. Take a sip and it’s disgusting. Mind you I’ve ordered this same smoothie like 3 days in a row because I’m pregnant with twins and it’s a craving. So I turn around and head back and I tell the young lady (only person in the store) that it is very liquified not smoothie like and tastes bland. She says “It’s because you didn’t use bananas”. I said um that’s not true I hate bananas and every-time I come here I remove the banana. She tries to argue with me and I said look I’ve ordered this several times please remake it. So I hand it to her at the register. She remakes it (with an attitude) and then sits the cups where the “take out orders” usually sit and proceeds to stock chips and never tells me she is doneMaking the smoothie. I looked up and said umm excuse me where’s the smoothie, and she goes “Over there” and points by the door. I’m like if I hand it to you and you see me standing here why wouldn’t you at least hand it back to me and tell me you’re finished. I’m already late for work because I had to turn around , like that’s rude and strange. She said “All smoothies go over there “ I'm like yea no if I order in store my smoothie is always handed to me if I order online and run inside then my smoothie is over there. But mind you there’s no customers in the store NONE, it’s like 8:30am and she wasn’t doing anything. And to put the icing on the terrible cake I always sub Splenda for turbinado in my smoothies and the chick most def used sugar when she remade it. I have had surgery and My stomach can tell the difference. I took two sips and felt like I was going to vomit, stomach doing flips. As I left the store I told her that the interaction was seriously stressful and unnecessary. Literally just a pregnant lady craving something cool and healthy before work and I got attitude and talked down to. I don’t ever want her to make anything for me. So I probably won’t return. I believe in good vibes and i don’t want someone with her attitude preparing anything I consume. She needs to be retrained and talked to. Wish I could give zero stars.
John Bailey: Stood next in line with my kid for 5 min while the manager just talked to a new hire and didn’t say anything to us. Walked out without them even acknowledging us being there.
The Goat: Will have you waiting upwards of 40-50 mintues. Seems to be managed by kids no adult in sight. Closed half the time.
Felicia Fulton: Highly disappointed. Our smoothies were practically tasteless, very watered down. We will not be returning.
Alex Wheeler: Today was my first time there and I won't be back because of a rude employee. There was a staff member that was extremely rude to every customer. They snapped at me and told me that my smoothie has been ready for a while, even though they had just snapped at another customer not to ask if its ready until they call their name. I was also not asking, just sitting at the bar waiting for my name to be called. This person, androgynous woman with short bleached hair and a beanie, needs to be spoken to at least if not completely retrained. There is no customer service training here and they clearly are dissatisfied with their job. Because of this one employee, I won't be back, its not worth it.
Tiffany Mckinnie: This is the 4th time I have ordered from this location and my smoothie did not taste right. I have been a long time customer for years and very frustrated to pay for a product and it's watered down, too much ice, or not the right amount of measurements. Please better train your staff. This makes no sense and not that hard to have products taste the same every time. Tropical Smoothie list everything step by step for them not to mess up and follow yet I keep getting orders that are not correct!
Chirag Patel: Just like the other reviews, I was ignored for 10 minutes. The girls in there were giggling and on top of that they lied. Our Community should not have to tolerate this type of behavior. It seems to me that the lack of service and respect towards customers is consistent and ownership is just hiding under the counters giving out free vouchers to disgruntled customers. I have reached out to local media outlets to have this business and owner put on notice.
Sri Gali: 2 days ago, I ordered Sante Fe and Baja, along with couple of other items for delivery. Out of these 4, only 3 were delivered. When I called that one item was missing. The lady at the Cafe said that they are closed even though the time was around 8:30pm, and the store closing time was 9pm. Then they said that I can come and pick the undelivered item. So I drove all the way to pick it up. The staff also messed up the order by adding Chicken to the dish, though we clearly Ordered without Chicken. In short, the staff does not seem to follow the Order instructions and careless in ensuring all the dishes/items ordered are part of the delivery.

I believe I saw some fresh fruit being used, which is a plus!I am used to going to smoothie places that have restaurant grade blenders, and this place has a regular household blender. It may have said professional, but it's not restaurant quality, meaning it did not blend my smoothie well enough. I own a personal nutribullet and get that same blend as what I received.I upgraded to a Vitamix, and my smoothies are very smooth. Upgrade your ninja to something a bit more professional to give customers quality smoothies or lower your hefty price if you want to keep the same blender. I probably would not go back due to the blend personally and the price point.
