Troy Mease: Fabulous! Marti and Kate were so personable, and their food recommendations were out of this world!I found this restaurant using Yelp and I was looking for biscuits and gravy. I've never had such rich delicious gravy on biscuits!Melody got the two eggs order, while I got chicken and the egg sandwich. Somehow Kate knew to bring me Cholula hot sauce! Took my sandwich to the next level!I had to try the steak and eggs. Very impressive braised short rib with a yellow corn sprinkling over perfectly done crepes. I had to try the cubed potatoes and onions as well! I'm so glad I did.'m hungy!Marti and Kate provided great recommendations and conversation!Chicken and the egg would not have been complete without the Cholula hot sauce.Steak and two eggs was scrumptious — Short rib on a crepe with cut corn sprinkled atop, served with grilled, cubed potatoes and onions!Melody had the two eggs and loved it!I have to come back to the pièce de résistance—Their own biscuits and gravy!!!! I've never had such a rich, luxurious gravy! This restaurant is well worth the trip!

Barbara-Jo Thompson: Big shout out to Randi for accommodating our party of 7 at the last minute. We were waiting at a different nearby restaurant for over 30 minutes. I rang to see if they could get us in straightaway. Randi stated the dining room was full. So I began my search to find somewhere to eat.Moments later Randi rang back to explain they now had a table and they were setting it for our party of seven and they were looking forward to us dining with them.It was a great experience and I very much appreciate the extra effort.
Keith Roberts: Randy… the hostess with the mostest who has fabulous taste in music! Couldn’t have beenmore welcoming to us. Food was beyond amazing… which was recommended to us by our server Kaitlyn. Outdoor seating area was comfortable and a great way to start our morning. Highly recommend!!!Vegetarian options: Fried green tomatoes with poached eggs
Stan Hannen: Great food and atmosphere. Service was okay.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kyle: Located at The Mayton, this is a great place for brunch in the area. Try the hot honey chicken and waffles.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken & Waffles …More
Chelsea S.: I used to come here all the time when it was called The Veranda. I do really like the new dining room atmosphere better after the remodel, but they got rid of my favorite brunch dish! I used to come here solely for the Creme Brulee French toast, but now they just have this "French toast brick", and it's just not the same and costs way more. I understand inflation and costs are rising everywhere, but don't fix something that wasn't broken. I don't understand how even using the word "brick" to describe French Toast is supposed to be an improvement. Any additions like bacon or eggs costs extra, which is the same as in the past, but now it's just more reason not to come with the price increases and menu changes. I was pretty disappointed and won't be returning anytime soon.
Larry Haddix: Attended a preset menu and bourbon tasting. The food blew me away. Some of the best and most original dishes in Raleigh.Parking: During the park construction, close parking is a challenge.
Ken Foster: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Steve Liechty: Great place for lunch. It’s quiet and there’s plenty of room for eating inside or outside. Food is great and there are a bunch of great options on the menu.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Parking: Free parking lot across the street.
Julie A.: So underwhelmed by this meal and extremely surprised by the high reviews. The quail was dry and flavorless, egg rolls were chewy and bland, tuna just wasn’t good, the cornbread salad was just meh.Go elsewhere - ambiance can’t save you when the food is this bland.
Shinya A: We went here for a dinner date night since they had a good deal for restaurant week. We ordered the salad, onion soup, pork chop, and seared ahi tuna. The salad was delicious and the soup was very good. The pork chop was cooked and flavored well and it came with a risotto and kale. The ahi tuna was decent but it did have a fishy after taste which I thought shouldn't be there. But still it was good. The ahi tuna came with a white bean like side. Dessert was really unique and tasted great. It was cheese cake made into three walnut size balls that was accompanied by whipped cream, a caramelized banana, strawberries and blue berries. We sat outside and it was a very pleasant and nice dinner.
Patrick Sullivan: Came here for Sunday brunch and wasn’t disappointed. We will be back and definitely recommend to our friends and family.Recommended dishes Cheese Plate, Steak and Eggs …More
Paul Trango: Food was good, alittle overpriced but goodFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Paula Brake: Great friendly smiling hostess when we arrived on Wednesday evening . She was able to change our reservation since another couple decided to join us ( with no hesitation) so willing to please us . Logan was so delightfulFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Karen Gonzalez: Mindful it is a bit more on the pricer side, however it gives dress up brunch vibes or nice fancy dinner. This location is going to be great when the downtown Cary park opensVegetarian options: I saw some really nice options for those that don't eat meat, meanie seems to change seasonallyDietary restrictions: They have great options for those that are gluten free
Jesse Willson: The waitstaff and atmosphere was amazing and the appetizer was decent, but our main course was bland undercooked. We got the lamb and tofu with the lamb being undercooked halfway through and the flan and potatoes having no seasoning. The tofu was poorly prepared with no seasoning and it was over cooked and ended up chewy. It was also paired with baked beans, zucchini, and a sweet ketchup sauce(?) which I decided to try and instantly regretted.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian appetizers, but only one vegetarian entree and the rest was saladsParking: Parking is limited with street parking across from restaurant
